Awesome , heritage hotel with rich history. Be prepared to share the facilities with camera crews and movie folks using the hotel as a location. The downstairs pool is an art-deco master piece . I'd recommend the breakfast buffet . Convenient central downtown LA location , reasonably priced and a real nice way to spend a few days in L A. You'll feel like a movie star ...

Beautifully remodelled hotel, near Grand market and next to a very nice park. The age of the hotel does show and it's not as nice as some of the newer DTLA hotels. It's the kind of hotel that is great on a discount but there are better options if you're paying full price.

I would rate the service at this hotel as good as anywhere! All the staff you come across are incredibly friendly and welcoming. The lobby restaurant has a great variety for buffet breakfast, lunch or dinner, and again better than a lot of places. Overall, we had a good stay in this hotel. We will come back to our next trip and recommend the hotel to others!

Do you like Polanski's film Chinatown? Like the whole romantic film noir history of LA in the 1930s and 1940s? Then stay at The Biltmore and let LA's history wash over you. Don't complain about the tiny aged rooms....that is part of the charm.....Love this grand old dame of LA.

Beautiful hotel from the 20s of the last century. Great preserved, very opulent public spaces. The standard rooms are large, the bathroom for it very small. Whoever manages it, should not take a room to the street, as it is extremely noisy day and night. The windows still seem to be original, very thin and unfortunately extremely dirty (from outside). In the room there were always loud noises of the water pipe, probably also original. Also has its charm. The breakfast buffet is ok, but nothing special. Anyway, the hotel is not one that could be exchanged with others.

Excellent hotel with a lot of history. The hall, halls and corridors are impressive. It is also in the center. The downside is that it is not cheap and the rooms are not so luxurious (normal)

I hosted a 60th. Birthday afternoon tea for a friend in the tea room at the Biltmore. To say it was a success would be an understatement. there were 8 or 10 of us there, including a nine-year old. The birthday girl, the guests and the nine-year old had a wonderful time. The tea choices, the sweet and savory tea cakes and sandwiches were perfect and dainty. We all felt like some sort of royalty. We made happy memories that day.

This is an historic place and offers much to the history buff. But little else. Perhaps the hotel was so busy with the ballroom dancing context or some other events that were going on to pay attention to little details like not booking two parties in the same room, providing reliable WiFi or TV, preparing good food or even ensuring the room key would work consistently throughout your stay.

I stayed at the Checkers across the street last time I was in LA. Loved it. It was full this time so I opted for the Biltmore. Next time I won't come if there's no available rooms at Checkers.

This is the second year I've spent the night in the hotel for an event. Check in was very smooth and the staff was polite. I've eaten in the restaurant once and while the food was good, it wasn't worth the price. There are lots of wonderful places nearby you can get meals at various prices. The ambiance of the venue is lovely and the hotel rooms are comfortable. The only real compliant I have is a very show draining bath tub.

Good selection of beer. Pleasant staff and a fun atmosphere during happy hour. Seems to have quite a bit of retro gaming available, but no food other than potato chips. Would have stayed longer if they had anything a little more substantial.

While it's a nice hotel, for the price I expected more. I did feel very welcomed by the concierge and bell stand. I had a recently renovated "delux" room, which is really just a typical hotel room - no perks other than a coffee maker. The wifi normally costs extra; I got it free as part of conference attendance, but it was still inconvenient because it required logging in again each time I moved to a different location in the hotel. Electrical outlets are inconveniently placed; you can't charge your phone by your bed, for instance. The building is wheelchair accessible, but some elevators may be difficult to locate.

This hotel has a beautiful lobby and some incredible looking architecture. The rooms are fair to good. Nothing special, and their age shows. I had a ton of problems with the internet, but despite the inconveniences, it was resolved within my stay and I was fairly compensated for it.

The traffic is good because it's in the city center.
I do not have windows, so I need ventilation, no dryer, no refrigerator, no power, no dryer ...
Good if you want to sleep.
Especially, Christmas tree of lobby was very big and was stylish!
Comfort and security in Korea was not there in the streets!

very spacious rooms. central. Need wifi included in the price. and cheaper parking (they charge an extra every time you get in and drive) although with LA traffic, better not to use the car over there. They were recording a chapter of castle!

Beautiful hotel - I can see why the academy awards used to be held here. Perfect place for a conference. Rooms were very comfortable. Bathrooms could use a renovation, but they were still nice. We loved it and would come back

Yes, she's a GRAND OLE GAL, but she's tired. Very tired. I took the advice of another and parked across the street for $20. Service & food in the BEAUTIFUL Gallery Bar were superb. Room - now that's an entirely different story. Very small, terribly dated & just shabby all around. I hate it when I have to put a bath towel between the mattress & box springs so the bed doesn't sag. Not what I expected from a Millennium property. Saving grace is the Hotwire price - but the room I received is no 4 star accommodation.
