We booked the hotel through Expedia. The staff was very friendly, but the hotel is undergoing major construction. Had we known this- we wouldn't have booked the place. The construction is super loud and in the middle of the day. I feel bad for the staff that has to endure this- we were struggling to hear them over the noise. Also, the walls are bit thin, I was woken up a few times in the early morning from sounds of a slamming door.
Beautiful hotel. Clean, comfortable, everything you need and great location.
If you are keen on fine architecture and impeccable hospitality, you will be pleased. We hope to return to this treasure for another stay some day!
Beautiful Hotel , my daughter performed here during Christmas time and it was very nicely decorated with a big Christmas tree in the entrance, we got to witness the lightening of the tree that night. Unforgettable.
The Millennium Biltmore Hotel in Los Angeles California was one of the finest, most beautifully exquisite hotels I've ever had the pleasure of staying. From the door to checkout everything was pristinely done. I felt like a celebrity staying there not just a esthetically but also for the staff. The staff really create the experience in that they treated me with wonderful service. What's more, all my requests were tended to without question and they didn't judge my hungover self after the Wasteland Ball event and tended to my scrambling to get to my car to leave for home. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about the service. The room itself was pretty standard, on the smaller side but I knew what my package included. The bed was wonderful, the bathtub is deep for me to sink into. I slept like a baby! Cannot thank this hotel enough for the stay I had.
This gorgeous hotel has tons of history and art. Next to the heart of downtown LA
Lovely space, hip and cool environment, great location!
One of the historic hotels. They have remodeled and now it is high class hotel.
I stayed at the Biltmore Hotel on the weekend of October 21st 2017. I left my car with the valet after arriving at the hotel and never checked my car out of valet during my stay there. When I got my car back the following morning I had to drive immediately to a nearby gas station to inflate the tire. I thought I may had gotten a nail in my tire from construction in the area. However, after having the tire inspected by a mechanic, I was informed that the driver side front rim was cracked.
I recently put an insurance claim in with the Biltmore Hotel's insurance for the valet and have received a letter denying my claim. I will be seeking further legal actions against the Biltmore Hotel to recover the loss of my room that occurred in their valet.
Amazing hotel, great rooms, Nice beds prompt room service
Went to smireldis for dinner. Very slow service. Food was decent. The scallops were slightly overcooked. Octopus salad was very good.
We had a trip with my friends last week and we decided to spent our night at your Hotel. It was one of the most comfortable and least expensive in our journey. We were so shocked when we saw our room because it was very cleaned and organized. What a nice to relax. We would definitely stay again! Thank a lot!
Loved the experience of visiting the hotel during the SRF convocation. The staff is so friendly and courteous.
This hotel is really big and eeire, has a creepy and haunted vibe. My room was very old and felt like everything was antique. My colleague's rooms were different and updated, so they may not have updated the whole hotel yet. The hotel definitely can go through a remodel, I would not be surprised if I saw a ghost here -- and I'm not even a believer in the paranormal.
Very fancy. The hotel is like one of the posh hotels you see in the movies. The location downtown is fantastic with a lot of dining and entertainment options close by. The rooms are clean and nice. The only thing lacking is a USB charger. 5 stars.
Didn't stay, but had all you can eat pasta dinner. The service was fast and the foos was good (for buffet style)
A renovation is urgent, the rooms and carpets are dirty, a renovation is urgent
Very nice structure, decent rooms but with a small bathroom
Loved the Hotel is very cute and well located, friendly staff and nice breakfast. Parking costs 50 $ extra and Wifi is free although at the end they charge 10 $ a day and they say it is to pay for WIFI, magazines and water.
I'll start by stating that this is indeed a beautiful hotel. I've stayed at various luxury hotels and as far as looks, they are almost on par with other 4-star hotels (I love the Waldorf Astoria NYC and this hotel appeared to have a similar aesthetic online). When I went downstairs to grab breakfast (breakfast was grab-n-go style due to the Covid-19 pandemic), there was a man who was clearly irate about unjust charges on his bill. He was explaining to the front desk attendant that his bill was incorrect. I was intrigued, but carried on about my day, without giving the matter a great deal of attention. The following day when we checked out, we noticed a $25/night per room (we occupied two rooms) "facilities" fee. When we asked what this charge was, we were told it was for the amenities. In theory, this makes sense, but because of the pandemic, the bar was closed. The gym was closed. The restaurant was closed. The pool was open from 7AM - 12PM (yes, 3 hours) so the amenities weren't available to be used. We explained the flaws in their logic, but they wouldn't budge on that fee and that left a bad taste in our mouths. The following night, we checked into the Sheraton by LAX and it was a great experience. The bar, restaurant, pool and fitness center was open. The room was immaculate and the hotel in general was well-appointed and we weren't charged a facilities fee. If you're into the idea of paying for services that weren't rendered and just want a pretty room to walk into after a day of doing whatever it is you do when you travel, the Millennium Biltmore is your place. If you'd like to unwind when you get back to your hotel and grab a drink, burn a few calories in the gym or just check out the vibe in the lounge or at the very least not be charged for amenities that aren't even available to use, you'll want a different place. Also, if you're staying at the Biltmore, you'll be paying an extra $50/night to park your own car.
One of the most beautiful and most historic places in all of Los Angeles.
Very historic. The staff is very, very friendly, helpful, and professional. I have been staying at this hotel for many years. I especially love the executive floor that has breakfast and happy hour food.
But the front desk staff was the absolute best. I would 100% recommend this hotel.
And Taylor Swift filmed her music video for her song "Delicate" here. So for me this is just an extra cool thing on top of how great this hotel already is to me.
I really enjoyed every time I have been here.
Absolutely BEAUTIFUL hotel... Loved our stay and the staff!!!
Wonderful experience. Beautiful hotel. Very elegant. The staff was very professional and helpful all through my stay. Concierge was excellent at helping us find venues in the area
It is historic but really dated and needs a face lift.
The rooms could obviously be updated, but they are certainly charming. I was here in February and it was a nice stay. Staff were so nice and helpful. Got the room for a decent price too!
Nice clean rooms, good service, interesting historic hotel.
Beautiful location & particularly great service but I had an issue with the valet. I specifically asked to just get something important out of my car and they had to bring it around. The man who brought my car saw that we weren t taking it and said you re not driving it? And scoffed at us rudely. It didn t feel very nice to be judged for needing my personal items. Especially since I would get them out of my car myself if I had the option to do so
Horrendous. Apart from the lobby (you can visit the hotel without being a guest) there is nothing right. Background noise in the room (it seems to be made by a generator) , outdated rooms, disgusting views from the room , breakfast buffet with a small range of choices (very friendly staff though)...
If you come to la for an event they let you keep your room keys also they have a free breakfast and everything on club level is free rooms are always clean and put back in order when you need something they are always their to help i give the place a 5 star rating.
Grand Dame hotel, a remnant from the Gilded Age right in the middle of LA downtown! Very elaborately decorated. Fancy, grand, and expensive. Parking is expensive, and valet is not easy. The afternoon tea was nice. Very yummy sandwiches and sweets. The service was excellent! The room had a magnificent ceiling. The tea selection was decent. I enjoyed Darjeeling. My kids liked the fruit tea. Good place to blow hard earned $$.
The home of the Oscars it was an amazing stay luxury bedrooms also is at the heart of Los Angeles downtown and there are many locals who are friendly and also is easy to get around and the customer service was fantastic
Super swaggy elegant and sophisticated hotel made for a Boss
Old Building, Old rooms, old-fashioned, the most modern is probably the wifi which works everywhere
The room service was nice when we needed it.also the rooms were well cleaned and sanitized. The AC worked magically and kept cool all through the night.
Hotel needs to be cleaned up, and everything needs to be updated.
I love this old hotel! My grandfather hauled the bricks to build it. Wish the gift shop stayed open later than 5.
Bit of a mish mash of architecture which just somehow doesn't work. A hotel with so much history should have been treated a bit more sensitively when they renovated it
I stayed here at this hotel for ISEF 2017. I loved the clean rooms, the comfortable beds, the quiet rooms, the centralized location, and the knowledgeable staff. The concierges were very helpful at finding neat tours, and I was able to sleep very well here. I loved the historic architecture of this hotel and the good price.
The service was friendly and prompt. The rooms were slightly outdated but that can be expected of a ninety year old building. The rooms were clean and large. The location was convenient to much of downtown LA. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Biltmore
Absolutely beautiful lobby. Location right downtown next to tons of restaurants. Everyone is super nice.
Love the historical stay in upper class society and the elite, the beautiful, and the glamourous type of clients that deserve world class service as a disabled American I give it a 5stripes as an 9/11Hero.
One of the most traditional hotels in the USA with beautiful architecture and decor!
cool breakfast and rooms but heard talking noise in the hallway but there no one there and phone started ringing
Always a beautiful visit. I've worked and attended many events at the Biltmore and I love the historic 1920's flair. Its really a wonder it has been maintained at such a high level these 96 years. The architecture is so interesting. Even the flooring in interesting. The ladies room is very much like it would have looked on the 20's except for all the modern plumbing and updated fixtures. One day I hope to stay in a room as a hotel guest!
This is a Vintage Hotel, and we expected vintage hotel room. We did not expect scratchy toilet paper, and street sounds coming in as if there were no windows at all. A plus, there were a lot of electrical outlets on the walls and lamps, but negative, no USB plug in outlets. The maid service was excellent and a nice sized refrigerator, but no microwave.
The biggest surprise was $50 per night for parking, plus $10 per night for facility fee in addition to the following: $48.65 occupancy tax, $5.21 city tourism assessment; $1.75 California tourism tax, all per night. (In other words, $115.61 per night more than room rate, a 33% surcharge.)
Amazing architecture and design. The ceiling in the hallway is truly incredible.
I think that there is no problem if you stay normally.
The Chinese food on the floor below the lobby was delicious. The clerk also responds with a smile.
Very beautiful hotel and I love the historic feel to it. The health center is very lovely and relaxing. There is plenty of great restaurants in and near by. The staff is very friendly and helpful especially since it's my first time visting.
Classic building, great location if you need to be downtown and great lobby staff etc. however rooms are VERY noisy, and cleaning staff make tons of noise in the halls, slamming doors and with their radios full volume.
The common rooms downstairs are beautiful and well maintained. Once you head upstairs to the guest rooms the story changes. First room we had, there was an inoperative phone, a clogged bathroom sink and filthy windows. When we complained, we were moved to a much smaller room with a cracked sink, chipped bathtub, bath fan that sounded like a jet engine, lumpy mattress, and still filthy windows. In addition, where we once had a view of Pershing Square, we now had none. For $200+ a night and it's storied history I expected more!
Service from staff is not up to scratch and the hotel is in need of renovations
Look nice and clean at a glance, but way overpriced. Lobby is awesome though, and the girl that works Sunday evenings.. she was so sweet.
The hotel is beautiful and the staff are quite helpful. The breakfast was average yet plentiful.
Definitely disappointed with this place. Room was very small and had the smallest bathroom ever. my car got broken into while parked in their parking. Then charged a $25 service fee for what idk. The view was terrible.
The character is beautiful! It's like walking through history with luxury and elegance!
In general, everything is fine - clean rooms, a historical building, good location, excellent breakfast. However, there are hidden payments that are taken from the deposit. For example, $ 10 unannounced service charge for services that are not provided.
The room was clean when we entered the room and price was cheap but room service is bad. They are not house keeping and not cleaning the room and not changing the toilet paper. Shouldn t they clean the this . It s been three days.
The venue was beautiful and the food was amazing. They had the best mashed potatoes i have ever tasted.
Beautiful hotel with history all over. We had the opportunity to stay in the Presidential suite and it was amazing.
Beautiful hotel but the front desk lady was incredibly rude. I forgot my key in the room and she gave me major attitude about it even though I was listed as a guest and offered my proper identification. They would not allow me another room key because I wasn t the person that booked it. Had to speak to the manager. He would only let me back in the room after speaking to the person who booked it . It was very inconvenient and I m not sure why all those hoops needed to be jumped just to let a guest listed back into their room. I was not happy at all with the way they treated me in this circumstance. Would not stay here again based on that level of unprofessionalism I was met with over such a minor easily made accident.
We arrived by q Booking not estafo with a reservation, and put everything from the human to give us the solution and that was it, we had a great day, 1000% recommended, excellent service, super food, impeccable everything, a building over 90 years worthy to walk around looking at the wonderful works on their roofs
