To be a 4-star hotel I was quite disappointed with the furniture, the beds for two really small much less than our double despite the nice hard mattresses and breakfast unfortunately not included.

Location is good but cleanliness is not good inside room. Bathroom and vanity are not clean and being in new York and such a busy area they shoukd have renovated nicely. Carpet is old.

This hotel was extremely outdated
The carpet in our room was ripped and stained, the bathroom socket was basically falling out of the wall, the ceiling was clearly repaired from a leak and the shower was stained and old.
I will never stay here again. You can find much more updated hotels for the same price. With all the money this hotel brings in you would think they would update it. Doesn t look anything like the pictures online, very disappointing.

It was in the famous time square area and there are many restaurants close by a Irish Pope in the back of the hotel, and a body killed place in the front of the hotel, located right across from the studio of Good Morning America, the hotel was very affordableble ,i really enjoyed our stay there

Hotel lobby is really nice, location is really nice, staff was very pleasant but I would not stay here again. The rooms don't appear to have been updated in 30 years. The beds,sheets and pillows were in really bad shape. The elevators are always down and you have to plan an extra 30 to 45 minutes in your morning because you have to wait for the elevators. We actually had to start taking the elevators up, which were still sometimes full, in order to be able to go down.

From the time I first entered the building I was treated like royalty!
Nothing was ever too much to ask for, consierge service was superb and catching a ride was flawless. I highly recommend this hotel!

The worse experience that I have had in my life. If you want to meet so many rude personnels in one place go to this hotel. The only upside is the location.
I travel a lot and please listen to my unwarned advice and don't go to this one.

Not all that satisfied. Had a red eye flight was hoping for early check in. They did not make it happen. No info on what if any amenities are offered. Either at check in or by brochure in room. No ice bucket in room but haven't seen any ice machines. Have called and asked for in room coffee maker. Told I would get one but not when. The room is nice with a view of timed square.

As a Hilton Diamond member, picking a hotel from that chain was a no-brainer when I had to bring down my car to be serviced from upstate.
Made an online reservation for a Deluxe King room, which was advertised as $136 including tax.
Upon my arrival I found the temporary front desk two doors away from the normal entrance which was closed (presumably due to COVID) where one employee struggled to check me in despite an electronic check-in, with assigned room number, previously accomplished. I was informed that the restaurant were closed and that people typically order take-out. The room I was given was neither the one I had checked into nor on the same floor. Instead, it was a queen size room that looked like it had never received a thorough scrubbing with curtains that didn t close fully due to an indoor water pipe obstructing them. A little bit disappointing but not the end of the world -until I saw the bill.
The establishment had extracted a total of $265 from my bank account for a room that sells for $99. I called to bring this to the attention of the staff. After a twenty minute hold I was transferred to the front desk, had to hold for an additional 10 minutes before I hung up. I called back and waited over ten minutes again to be transferred to the GM who, of course, wasn t available to answer the phone.
Way to treat your most loyal members!

Tried to book on priceline and immediately alter the check in date, which was over a month in advance, and was told by priceline AND the hotel that it could not be changed or cancelled and I was out the $230.00 (even though it was within 6 minutes of being placed online)... only after filing BBB complaints did they try to alter the dates, but by then I was forced to book another venue and could not cancel that one either. They sent a copy to my credit card company, and even on the back of THEIR invoice it states I could have canceled up to 11/16, when the hotel was booked on 11/8. Tey are still trying to bill my credit card for the room, which I never received services for. I will NEVER use them, or priceline for ANYTHING ever again. PERIOD. Too bad, since my fiancee' and I enjoy the shows on Broadway periodically. Never again.

Older room decor, feels like many years since last renovation. Mismatched lamps. No charging ports, limited outlets available. Hard bed, cracked closet door mirror. Nice flat screen TV with Netflix, free Wi-Fi.

Zero stars.

Zero stars.
It s rip off for the amount of money you pay. I mean in Pennsylvania off the turnpike you can get new hotel rooms at only 80 bucks room

Hotel is outdated and so are lights and rooms. Just cause it s near Times Square they can over charge you.

At least update the rooms and then you can charge little higher

Great

We had a frustrating experience. Our bathroom door would stick shut and I got stuck in the bathroom the first night until my husband returned to help me get out. We complained and were told to "just not shut the bathroom door". REALLY?....in a 250.00 a night hotel? The 2nd day we came back from a day out to find ALL OUR LUGGAGE GONE! But clothing in closet still there and toiletries still in bathroom. We were very upset and thought our room had been broken into during our day away. Front desk had no idea what happened. After being transferred to the manager we learned they had moved some of our things to a different room. (without a note or a phone call?) SECOND ROOM WAS EVEN WORSE! Right behind the elevators and very noisy, in this room the bathroom door wouldn't close and the carpet dirty with a PEALING TOILET, and the silver wearing off all the bathroom fixtures. Definitely not the quality you would expect for the price. I suggest you find a better hotel. The location is not worth the lower quality for this price.

Weekend break for the Wife and I and loved every minute. Employee at the check in desk could have been a bit friendlier and helpful as after a 9 hour trip from Scotland we where a bit fried. Room was dated and in need of an upgrade but was clean and comfortable, Also had an annoying hum from air con. Can't complain with the location as you an ON times square.

It is not like the other Hilton flagship brand hotels... Service is not satisfactory. It is a tourist hotel kind of place, no lobby. Hilton Honors is not honoured here unless you ar Diamond!! Rooms are little small but cozy & clean.

Awesome hotel around Times Square. The room was super clean slept like a baby. The room was a little cold but well adjusted the temperature. I brought my kids out to New York for the night. And absolutely fell in love with this hotel. I am booking rooms for the summer for me and my family.

Excellent hotel perfectly located 2 steps away from Times Square, you can go to Central Park like Battery Park to take the mini cruise. Even the 5ft AVE and many other attractions are really attached to the hotel. The rooms are large and with very suggestive windows, breakfast is enough to start the day. I advise!

We stayed here for 3 nights and loved it. The hotel lobby was beautiful and all the administration staff were very accommodating. The heat however because it is the end of December could not be altered in our room. The first two nights were very warm. Clean otherwise and perfect location for visiting Time Square.

Nice clean hotel in the heart of the Broadway District. Easy access to all the theaters, the Subway, and Times Square. Room was a good size with two beds and a chair in the corner. Loved that the shower was instantly hot. Hairdryer supplied in the room. There was a Deli at either entrance for quick snacks and reasonable food prices. A great restaurant downstairs was very tasty.. Overall it was a great place to stay, beds were comfortable and the staff was great.

An amazing stay here in New York. The views won't let you down and the rooms are clean which makes this stay very comfortable. I had a peace of mind as soon as I checked with so many friendly faces eager to assist. Thank you for being a part of my adventure!!

The employees were friendly and helpful and service all around was good. The hotel itself was a bit dilapidated. Had to change room several times because of broken curtains or pet stains in the rooms. There was also a long wait for the elevators as they weren't all working.

I booked a millenium suite with Times Square view on 52th floor. The room was quite big but:
1: very dirt windows which obstruct the beautiful view;
2: plants were almost died without water;
3: hole in the bedsheets;
4: no premium welcome for VIP guests.
I did not expect this poor service for a 400$ room.
Never again

The hotel location is just right in the city...recommended hotel eventhough the room did have "old" feeling..the staff all friendly..the breakfast is nice, they served porridge..only 5 minutes walk to Starbuck, 15minutes walk to Sephora and 20 minutes walk to the biggest M&M store..

Fab!

I'd prefer to be giving 4 1/2 stars, couple of bad points were, the room was very dated and the carpets in our room need a deep clean. My only other disappointment was there was no mini bar/fridge, even just a empty fridge to cool our own drinks is an option we enjoy having... everything else was fantastic, the hotel is very well situated. The room and bath room came with all the amenities you would expect. House keeping was fantastic, hotel staff were friendly and helpful, air conditioning etc all worked well. I would recommend this hotel if you would like to be situated near times square...

I'll start off positive, the view was nice and it was in a great location that made everything easily accessible! Now for the negative, where do I begin? We were charged a resort fee and none of the amenities were there. I understand with COVID going on to restrict them but in that case the resort fees should be taken off. There was no breakfast, no restaurants in the hotel open, no swimming pool, no gym, no hot tub, no amenities whatsoever. In order to get room service we had to find the housekeeping employees and tell them if we could get fresh towels. Other hotel guests nearby were extremely loud at all times, dogs barking and it wreaked of marijuana in our room due to neighbors smoking in their room. We were under the impression that the floor we were on was non smoking. Woke up with a headache everyday due to the combo of the noise and smell. Walls are paper thin we would hear all of our neighbors arguments on one side and banging on the walls on the other side.

I liked the room all in order, the only thing was that the window curtain that faced the street could not be traversed, we tried and could not, another thing at the time of delivering the room we went to the lobby and the person in charge in that At the same time, she tells my husband that he has to pay for the days of the stay, as it is possible if we contract with a travel agency. And we pay in advance, we finally show him the papers and fix everything, but he gave us a bad time, hence from now on everything is fine .

Stayed here in the middle of August 2018. The hotel is very traditionally appointed. This isn't my favorite style, but the location is great for a trip to see shows on Broadway and explore history. Ultimately, we aren't in NYC to stay in our hotel!

Features: I loved that the lobby is a full block! The front door is on 44th and the back door is on 45th. The location can't be beat if you are seeing shows on Broadway or what to be in midtown Manhattan.

Pluses: The day staff during our stay was very friendly and most were very helpful, even providing tips on places to eat and drink. Although the rooms are a little older, they appeared clean, the air conditioning worked, very important in August, and housekeeping did a great job each day. There are bouncers for the elevators after business hours and you can only access them if you have your key card.

Minuses:
When we arrived, we were given our room, but it was missing towels, TP, kleenex, etc. We had to call down for it. Also, the bathroom fan didn't work, not great with 3 people in a room. We called down to housekeeping and they said they were going to fix it and never did. The night staff is not so friendly or particularly interested in paying customers. I was trying to leave Manhattan after 11 p.m. on a Sunday and had to wait to get my luggage out of the locked storage room as the porter was engaged with taking someone's shopping to their room. I have to mention that this wasn't any shopping because of the amount of time he was engaged with this activity. The shoppers arrived with two taxis full of stuff they bought from Bed, Bath and Beyond! The poor porter had to unload it, then haul it all up in one trip in two luggage carts by himself. The shoppers did not help him one bit! I hope they tipped him well!! Apparently there is only one person with the key code to the storage room, and it's the porter, who was busy. There were two people behind the counter, but they claimed they couldn't help me and they weren't really making a priority out of helping the folks checking in either. There were a lot of people standing around the lobby while these two chit chatted about nothing.

Uncontrollable: While the two entrances are convenient, it confuses Lyft drivers, though really, this isn't an issue with the hotel, it's more with the Lyft drivers, but wanted to note it.

Would I stay here again? Maybe, I wouldn't discount them as an option, as overall the experience was good and the location can't be beat. There are a lot of hotel choices in this area though, so I'll probably try something else next time.

Nice hotel! I was on the 36th floor. No mini fridge in the rooms so just filled up the ice bucket and sat drinks or little food items on ice. Lots of towels in the room but they need to provide more than 2 wash cloths. Loved that there was security making sure you were actually a guest of the hotel at night. No one wants to run into randos while trying to get to your room. Very clean also. Although whatever fragrance they use in the lobby stinks! Asian Restaurant inside the hotel has pretty decent food. And gives good portions. Prices are good considering this is NY!! Overall a great stay. Will definitely stay again since it s not even a block away from the hustle and bustle of Times Square. Which was magnificent to see!!

I was at this hotel for a gathering of graduate schools, and it was beautiful, clean, and the concierge was nice. However, the security men were a tad intimidating for me, but I appreciate their commitment to safety.

Though I have been fully charged for my stay a week ago, the hotel has kept two soft holds of equal amounts on my credit card for no apparent reason. Both I and my bank have tried daily to contact them, but nobody ever answers the phone.

In terms of the room, the view was very nice, but the room smelled of stale cigarette smoke (it was a nonsmoking room) and the carpets were damp - I m guessing from a recent attempt to remove the smell. All in all, the experience was not up to par, and customer service leaves a lot to be desired here. I will not be coming back.

If I could give a 0, I would. The best thing about this hotel is they gave us a full refund to change to a different hotel. Outright disgusting. Bodily fluids spilled all over the side of the bathroom. So much dirt and dust on the walls, they appeared fuzzy. light switches covered in dirt. greasy forehead marks all over the windows. Goopy mess covering the facets. The place was a dump and one I would strongly suggest not going to especially for the 4.5 star rating it apparently has (the price does not match the stay).
