Pleasent to deal with, cost to update an RPR is high.
Selling my house and needed to up date my real property report, the report for the previous owner was done by Global Raymac Surveys group so I decided to use them. The report done in 2010 states my deck is 0.59m high, any higher and it is considered too close to the property line making the report ineligible for a certificate of compliance stamp (any deck higher than 0.6m must be 6m from a property line in Calgary AB). Now the current report I just had done in 2014 has the same deck measured at a height of 0.87m high which means it is too close to the property line at that height. Let me note that I did not change the height of the deck or the grade under the deck in the 4 years I have lived here.
How the heck does that happen??? Someone screwed up measuring it the first time or the number was fudged, 4 years later it is impossible to prove.
Now I am stuck having to apply for a relaxation permit from the city of Calgary at a tiny cost of $400, probably a fee that the previous owner should have paid when their report was done.
Not Impressed!!!
Globals updated RPR costs are higher than other company's new RPR. Figure that one out.
From Solicitors stand point this company is very good to deal with and easy to get a hold of. I would recommend them.
Really quick and awesome service! Quick call and really helpful getting the boundaries marked out appropriately to build the fence. Exceptional, friendly, and patient!
