Location was excellent but everything else was poor at best. The room was out dated and looked nothing like what was in the picture. We got there Dec 26th and the person at the front desk left us standing for about 15 minutes while he went to the back to talk to someone. When I asked what was going on I only got the answer "we are getting you the best room possible". After about 20 minutes we got a key for the room. We had a hole in the wall the size of a quarter(room 2706). The bathroom had a few tiles that were coming loose from the wall. The toilet barely flushed, water pressure for the shower/sink was extremely low and the room was outdated as well as the floor level we were staying on. The lamp was torn and there was dust on the baseboard and the lamp. The comforter was extremely wrinkled but the bedsheets were ironed. We were on the 27th floor and tried to use the elevator to go down stairs and it looked like only 2 of the 5 elevators worked. The same 2 came a total of 4 times and they were full with people. So I had to figure out a strategy. I selected the up option on the elevator and we got on and we went up and it pretty much stopped at every floor as it finally made its way downward. As it stopped to pickup people on its way down, I could see the frustration of the guest as the door opened and it was full so they could not get on. This occurred on Dec 27th but rest of the days were ok to be fair. The downstairs lobby was nicely decorated and looked rather elegant so A+ but folks update the rest of the hotel and until you do that don't false advertise with rooms that look nothing like the picture - please be ethical when you are charging $450 a night. Actually, just be ethical period. I forgot my comb and the hotel did offer a courtesy comb but it did take 3 phone calls and when the gentlemen (I use the term loosely here) did show up at the door he looked angry and upset like I had disturbed his rest. I welcome the opportunity to speak with management after reading my review.

Priced well for an amazing location right in Times Square. The room was clean but very dated and in need of updating. Mostly wear on the walls, carpets and bathroom. Nothing that I would say was dirty but still not what I would expect when I hear Millennium. The room was also a lot smaller than the pictures online, but it was still larger than most NYC rooms I ve stayed in.

we arrived at @ 1230 on jan 1 ,2015 for a two night stay.i had stayed at the millennium a few years ago. great times square location. booked at a good price with priceline ($170 per).on arrival the room was net ready. the desk clerk asked me to come back at 2 30pm. after lunch i checked in at 3 pm. the room was still not ready. i was asked to check back an hour later. i did. no room was ready. i booked a room with two beds. i didn't get a room until 5 pm. the clerk was apologetic, but offered nothing in compensation. the baggage clerk was dumbfounded when told of the situation, ' he didn't offer to buy your party a drink ?' he said. not good.
the room ,2308, was ok in size, two full sized beds. they were firm. the pillows were flat, not too comfy.
nice view of the tower where the new years eve ball decends. the water pressure/shower was good. the overall cleanness of the room was not great. the room's air quality was not good. it gave me a headache.
the location is very good. the staff was 'ok' but either overwhelmed orr under trained.

We had a great stay there! Magnificent view of the Chrysler Building. Ideally located in Times Square, close to the Empire Empire State, Grand Central, Central Park ...
The hotel will arrange to call you taxi whenever you want. The staff are quite friendly. A mini market right in front of the hotel. One inside as well, but a bit expensive.
And excellent value for money! I highly recommend.

I m writing this in hopes I can encourage other patrons to never stay at the Millennium after the miserable experience I had. So through a third party (ticketsatwork) I booked a three night stay for the Millennium for my extended family without being told the hotel was a non refundable rate. A family member got sick and we had to cancel their stay. When I called the third party they told me it was non-refundable and there was nothing they could do. Naturally I was furious because I wasn t told this the first time, so I stayed on the phone with them for almost an hour until a manger finally told me ok, we can send a request to the hotel directly to see if they ll let us refund it, but it s on the hotel to make that call. Naturally the Millennium denied that request so I was then told by the third party to speak them directly. Here s where I started to lose my patience. I called the Millennium several times and I was transferred to the wrong department each time. Eventually I got someone and the woman with a very aggravated tone snapped You need to speak with Joe, the reservations supervisor, or Lauriann, the director of the front desk. Try again LATER. So I called Joe several times and kept getting his voicemail. Left a voicemail, still no response after four days. By then I was so fed up and went to the hotel in person to speak to Lauriann. She told me I m very sorry, ma am, but because you CHOSE to book a non refundable rate there s nothing I can do for you. It s just like losing broadway tickets; something happens, you lose the money. Excuse me, but I "chose?" I chose to book something without my knowledge? So your telling me it s MY fault the third party didn t tell me it s a non refundable rate? That I m supposed to just lose $900+ dollars for a mistake that I didn t make? Not to mention I can t control my family getting sick. Not only that, but the ticketsatwork cancellation policy clearly states Hotel cancellations or changes can be made anytime outside the 72 hours before your arrival date. Lauriann also explained to me that we sell our inventory to these third parties to fit the rooms for us, and there s a whole process in place that makes it difficult to give you a refund. I then asked Lauriann to speak to her manager and she said Well I m the one who chooses to make this call, and there s nothing I can do. I m sorry, but I've worked in retail for 10+ years, and there s always a back end way to issue refunds. The attitude I got from Lauriann tells me that the Millennium CAN issue me a refund, but just doesn t WANT to. I understand the hotel is a business and it wasn t Lauriann s fault directly but considering the circumstances she could have and should have made an exception for me. When I showed Lauriann the original reservation with the return policy statement Loriann eventually said ok, here s my card, send me an email of the original reservation and I ll see what I can do. It s been a week and I ve heard nothing; probably never will. Not even a quick email or phone call saying I m working on it I ll get back to you soon. Absolutely unacceptable. This is not how you take care of your customers. While it may not be the hotel s fault ticketsatwork screwed up, they screwed up, and if ticketsatwork doesn t have a way in their system to issue a refund, the hotel should have. It IS the hotel s fault for being unprofessional, rude, completely disorganized, and totally disrespectful to my situation. Whatever you do, DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL, otherwise you will be greeted with management that will not take care of you.

If I could give it lower than one star I would. So I stayed here for 4 nights & the price for each night was $200 for two beds which is reasonable. My flight got cancelled due to a snow storm the day we were supposed to check out. For 1 extra night they charged $379 plus tax which is outrageous & they just took advantage of the weather to rip people off. Really rude service when I tried to ask a question & the beds were really hard. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone. And now that I'm checking the prices the day after, they are offering $161 for one night. Horrible hotel and rip off.

This hotel is ideally located if one is a theater buff. We walked to so many shows - avoiding the hassle of a subway or taxi. Even though it is just off Times Square - our room was quiet and spacious enough for both of us to practice yoga at the same time! Best shower ever - strong flow and hot water. Helpful concierge staff. Great coffee shop nearby - Gregory s.

I attended a parenting conference this past weekend at the Millennium Broadway in Times Square. The event was clean, the hotel constantly provided water, and staff were courteous. However, there was not enough room to accommodate the whole conference on one floor so it was spread over three, even with the added floors it was still very congested.

Just back from 5 days at the millennium Broadway. The staff were really nice, the guy on the concierge desk (sorry can't remember your name) was very friendly and helpful. Tim the doorman was an absolute star, our airport transfer didn't show up and we believe he went abve and beyond to help us, thank you Tim. The rooms are nice, we were on the 25th floor and had a good view of time square. We had a great stay. Don't listen to all the negative people this hotel is great. Great staff and great location, right in the heart of time square.

The hotel appears to be in a renovation period. Our room was missing the refrigerator (all that remained was the plugs), lights were haphazardly hanging out of old fixtures, and the toilet ran all night until I finally woke up and fixed it. The location is great and the staff were courteous. We also waited almost two hours for our car to arrive from the valet (which the manager comped). Overall, it wasn't the worst, but definitely wasn't the best hotel experience I've had in NYC.

Worst customer service ever! Called front desk complaining that it s too hot in our room, heater is off and window has been open! They said Tough luck, we don t have a/c until end of May. I called the manager they picked up and hung up on me. I called the manager again and they transferred me to front desk, I complained, requested for a different room, asked for a fan. He replied We have no other rooms available. We will see if we can send a tech out. Tech came out and said there s nothing he can do, but there is the same issue in another room down the hall.

I attended a Columbia Business School Executive Education program held at the Millennium Broadway Hotel. Although there's heavy foot traffic, everywhere I went was exceptionally well kept and the staff is eager to help in guiding you in the right direction. The hotel has much to offer and my time spent was pleasant.

We stayed at this hotel for 7 days in November 2019. The location is great, it is in Manhattan right in the center of Times Square. The subway is about 5 minutes walk. Many attractions (Empire State Building, Central Park, etc.) can be reached on foot. The hotel is comparable to a 3 star hotel: air conditioning, bathroom with bathtub. The interior is getting old (for example shaky faucet, under the washbasin urgent painting necessary, etc.). The room was clean and was cleaned daily. There was a TV with Netflix and You Tube, so you could also watch German films, if you have an account there. Reliable and stable free Wi-Fi was given. I can not comment on the restaurant because we did not eat there. There are countless diners and fast food restaurants in the immediate area. The staff at the front desk was not exactly friendly, we did not even hear a "welcome". However the room service was very courteous, here we left a TIP. The hotel concierge at the entrance was well-intentioned: he called us a taxi on the last day and we could leave our bags after our check-out for a few hours until our departure to Germany in the hotel lobby (were safely kept). Despite all this, the hotel has great prices (about $ 280 for a twin room per night plus about $ 28 tax), but it's in Manhattan and sightseeing was absolutely incredible.

This is the worst experience I have ever had for long time with a 4 stars hotel. The room is not that clean. The hallway in our floor is having the food cart with food leftover for 2 days. The housekeeping is very bad, you need to call them to make up the room. There was a blockage on the bathtub. There is some rust on the bathroom. There was no refrigerator in room.

The room was not cleaned up with spotted carpets and messy bathroom. It felt that rooms were not being cleaned up after check outs. The only advantage is that it is in the middle of Times Square with good view room.

Very disappointed with this hotel for the amount of money we paid. We paid almost $500.00 for one night for a "Deluxe" room. I didn't feel there was anything deluxe about it. The room smelled musty and smokey when we first opened the door, the amenities were just so-so, it felt old and didn't have an overall clean feel to it. The bed was hard and fairly uncomfortable. What we did like was the location and the large bathroom. It had a lot of counter space, plenty of room for toiletries and clothes. For $500.00 I did expect a much nicer room.

I would have rated this higher given the location and cost, but there are no outlets that can reach your iPad or phone from your bed. There are no outlets for the iron. And there is only 1 outlet to the right in the bathroom. I never thought about how much
I rely on the numerous outlets in updated establishments. They need to replace the center lamps with a lamp that has an outlet in its base.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I recently booked a room with a view at this hotel for labor day weekend through expedia and had terrible customer service via phone! Calling to ensure my room would be ready for our arrival, I was informed that I would not be getting the room I reserved and paid for. Expedia accepted my refund claim but was denied by the hotel. After being verbally abused on the phone, I m not sure that I even want to stay here. The hotel management was unprofessional and has not handled my situation carefully. Every person i spoke with had an attitude and contradicting answers. All I want is the room with the city view that I had paid for and some decent customer service.

Our stay at the Millenium Broadway went great. The staff were very welcoming and the hotel's atmosphere was awesome. Our room was located on the 51st floor so we had a mesmerizing view. Lastly, the room itself was very comforting and the room essentials came in handy. Your stay at the hotel won't be forgetful.

The Millenium Hotel Times Square is a fantastic location located in the center of it all. I came for work purposes and was pleased to see the lobby being cleaned up and down after every customer or guest. The elevators were also being cleaned throughout my stay. Hotel cleanliness is important to me during this time and the hotel went above and beyond to ensure guests found a super clean place to call it a night. When I arrived at the hotel in the afternoon, the hotel front desk staff greeted me and acknowledged my reservation. It was a quick and efficient process. The rooms are quite large compared to other NYC hotel rooms. The staff are generous with offering service with a smile. As other reviewers have stated, the hotel is older and due for a renovation, but it is super clean, warm and offers all the amenities you need for a good stay. I loved the location, the beds, and more importantly, a sense of security.
