Unorganized, inefficient airport. TSA is beyond rude for no reason. Food locations are disorganized and employees unhelpful. Dirty common areas. Seriously, Chicago is so much better than this.

There are literally no seats at the gates and it s so cramped you can t even sit on the floor and be out of the way! Plus, the food is so expensive you can t afford to sit and eat.... this place SUCKS! With the amount of foot traffic they really need more space for people to wait for their flights!

Love this airport! They are doing renovations, but it is still operational. Down the B terminal they built a restaurant and bar in the middle with beautiful artwork. I love all of the shops and restaurants. Smooth and seamless experience, even with construction

Inadequate restrooms. Always a zoo, and even with thousands of people here you cannot get a drink or food after 10 o clock. The entire place shuts down in terms of business. Poor practices that must leave enormous sums of money on the table.

in and out and easy pick up or drop off.... dont care about anything else since i like real food and not junk food

The staff are a joke, the service is horrible. The airline staff does not do their job correctly and no one cares. This is the worst airport. If you have the opportunity to fly O'Hare, please save yourself and don't choose Midway. My experiences here have been nightmarish.

Top tips for speedy security - after 6AM on weekdays they bring the sniffing dog out and everyone gets treated to precheck in the normal lines. There are more lines in the normal lanes, so you're better off even if you DO HAVE precheck to just use the normal lines. Also, they will sometimes back the line up all the way to the entrance to the L train. It is quite a walk but I timed it and it only adds 6-7 minutes to the line. Just don't freak out. And I've seen "cutters" sent to the back of the line, so maybe don't try it. Also a fun fact, the same menu item in ANY restaurant comes from the exact same place, so don't expect to find a "better croissant sandwich" in another terminal. Think that's all. Safe travels!

What major airport removes all work stations and tables, in today's business world? This airport is not business person friendly!

Having just flown out of the hell that is LAX, Midway is heaven. My only real gripe is the lack of seating. Those chairs look mighty comfortable but unfortunately I am not able to find an empty one. No Starbucks but that's not the end of the world.

They wouldn't let me use the precheck line even though i have it. The TSA here is clueless and unprofessional.

Much better than O'Hare. I do think they could have more seating, though.

As always complete incompetence when it comes to luggage handling. Waited an hour this time - for no reason at all. Actually it was because there was a game happening at the same time on TV. Typical government - no accountability at all or a way to complain.

The incompetent baggage handlers did not disappoint on the way back either - despite the plane being delayed an hour we still waited inside the plane for an additional half an hour waiting for luggage to be loaded.

Clean, modern and designed well for a cramped urban airport. Flying in and out of Midway is an enjoyable travel experience with nice shopping and eating options. Security and bag check lines can sometimes get slow.

I really loved the car, I am just disappointed that I had to go through a 3rd party to rent it.
This was the 6th time in the last year that I rented from Alamo and could not believe that the rates were so high, I went through Expedia and was able to be more that $50.00 knocked off the price for the same car.

Busiest square mile airport and easy to get around. Stop by and read the Battle of Midway memorial. Very important to US history during WW2.

service entering the airport/plane is great but the dunkin near gate b26 for southwest ruined my whole experience. The lady at the register, which on the receipt says linda G, was extremely rude towards not only me and my mother, but everyone in her presence. She continuously asked rude and demeaning questions making it seem as if we were stupid.

Midway could have more plug-in spots for the number of cell phones and other electronic devices being used by most passengers.

It's nice. Since remodeling they are cheap and have the best restaurants.

Agree totally with Jeff. Love flying Southwest, but hate the new food options. Cost close to $20 for breakfast. And because I ordered at the to go window was not allowed to sit at a table or booth even though I am handicapped. Bring back McDonalds for a quick meal. Or other options. Hate the ones there.

I've only been to this airport twice in my life. Once when I was a year old, so I don't remember that time, and the other time when I was 14, going to Florida, and as I recall since the last time I was there, it was very clean and the staff was pretty nice. There were a lot of food choices (not as much as O'Hare, but still quite a few), some were good, some were bad, but nonetheless, still a nice clean airport with friendly staff. The only setback is that it is in a bad area of Chicago and you gotta drive through ghettos and projects in order to get there.

It's a hike from the city, but it's a much nicer experience than going through O'Hare. Easily accessible via the CTA Orange Line.

I love using this airport. The new updates and remodels are wonderful.

Obsolete airport. Completely inadequate gate seating and concessions. Everything is grossly overpriced, e.g., snacks at Hudson News are 4x the price at a typical 7-Eleven. Think twice before connecting through MDW.

It took me through a toll with no way to pay, got some fines, missed my exit.

Long lines, tight corridors, long bathroom lines, and long vendor lines. When I finally found a vendor with less than a mile long line, the food was cold and the service was slow. Prices on everything were ridiculously high. Never rated an airport before lol. Will avoid this airport at all costs in the future.

Complete trash of an airport. Always have TSA precheck lines closed. A week later since my last flight. I still hate this airport

Smooth and easy.. they had no issues with giving me refills on my soda and extra bags of chips...

Eh its kind of ok but I think they could do on cleanliness.

Security officer rudely ordered for my boyfriend and I to leave a crowded area at a station that we used to charge our devices since we have a 3 hour layover. A simple 'excuse me mam but you can't be in this area' would have been more than sufficient. Instead, he said "you guys need to get out of here now. Unplug your stuff NOW and leave. I don't come into your house like this." Please teach your staff to treat people like people.

Tsa here really sucks. They are so inefficient and unorganized. They also question things other airports don't. For instance, I have one of those check point approved bags, which butterflies open to lay my laptop flat on its own, in its compartment. They are designed so you don't have to take your laptop out. Sometimes they still make me take out my laptop, not understanding the whole concept.

Also, I have a list with South West so I'm supposed to "fly by security." so far from it. You may get your ID checked a little faster but that's about it.

Sometimes I feel that the tsa agents here are O'Hare rejects.

Easy to get in & out, but both times we have come, leaving on a Sunday, security lines were long. Otherwise, no issues.

The TSA agents were very rude and unwilling to answer questions they should have been able to answer.

Worst experience ever, TMA are useless they give false information, are rude, and as I walk through arrivals all they do is stand in groups conversing. I get off the shuttle bus in departures, and there are cars parked in the shuttle bus stop, instead of assisting the driver and make sure passengers have a safe drop off, they shurg there heads and ignore the situation. SMH. People have good jobs that don't even deserve them. This has happened to many times. I stopped flying out of Midway.

If your a 737 pilot, its a nice place to hone your skills, shorter runways than its neighbor KGYY's RWY 12 and 30. So prepare for a high autobrake setting. Don't want to go off the runway do ya.

I did not expect that there would be so many people waiting in line for security check and luggage check-in. I arrived at the airport one hour before the take-off time, and I was almost the last ones to get onto the plane!

Cons- The country's worst airport restaurant selection just got worse. Mayor sold out what few restaurants they had to some mgmt. company so now there's even less selection

Pros- Super convenient to get into/out of airport and into Chicago
Airlines offer lower fares here because of southwest

Worst "food upgrade" ever in the last month. Do you really need 3 nasty frozen pizza places? No healthy choices any longer. Could not find any fruit in the morning. I mean none. And the new restaurant staff are just bad.

Midway is quick and easy to get in and out. They turned over all their restaurants in the last couple of years. You won't find a McDonalds, or a Potbelly, but there are good Chicago-centric choices.

Much saner than O'hare and the food is excellent! Local Chicago eateries for those long delays. And the cops for pick up aren't as awful as at O'hare.

Airport seems to have had lots of recent upgrades so it's clean and functional. Sadly, nothing has been done about the lousy weather...

It is a very comfortable airport, and with first class services, both local and international.

Love Midway! Its fast and easy, the Orange line takes you straight there and I love to fly Southwest Airlines, so It perfect.

It is terrible they are under the impression that all priority status passengers are TSA, thus they have eliminated the A list/priority lane. I was hopeful they put it back with the reno, I'll change my rating if they eventually do.

The terminal is MUCH improved in terms of dining options! Midway is easy to to access and generally has a higher on-time arrival/ departure rate in comparison to O'Hare. The staff is helpful and the terminal is clean for it being an airport. The expansions and upgrades they are working on here are LONG overdue. Glad they are finally doing something about it!

Flown in and out of this airport numerous times and never had a problem. It was pretty easy to navigate through and the facility was clean and honest not that memorable.

I won't ever fly from this airport. The departure drop off attendant was rude and unprofessional. If dropping someone off had that kind of commentary, then there is no need to experience any more of that airport. I was dropping off my boyfriend, who had a one way ticket to India, we don't know when or if we'll see each other again, After helping him load his luggage onto the cart we hugged and kissed then hugged again - probably less than a minute for this to happen. An attendant yelled at us to stop and said that "this ain't no holiday inn, you need to move." I was appalled. I understand that it's a dropoff area not a parking lot, but two minutes to say goodbye was not preventing anyone else from pulling in to unload. The airport staff could use some customer service training.

Security is so rude, and talk to other staff instead of paying attention to customers. Long wait I missed my flight+I had to deal with their attitude. Never going there again and I recommended you do the same.

Parking is always easy, but it'd be nice if the first half hour were free like other airports I've been to.

Since it's cheaper for me to fly from Chicago than it is Milwaukee, I try to schedule my flights here versus O'hare.
