Great honda dealership. Service and parts department were phenomenal. Sales looked very presentable. Service was timely and appropriately priced. My vehicle was like new again. Very nice seating and free wi-fi and a play area for children. Plus Honda's are fantastic vehicles.

I live in western Sullivan county and drove almost an hour to buy a car. The salesman had a great smile but no more help than I could get in 5 minutes on the internet - and talked in circles when I had specific questions. The help I got at another Honda dealership was 1000% better, more accurate and faster.
Recently I bought the new car in this location for the second time and again the process was fast and easy. I got the fair price on start and an opportunity to test drive extensively two different models of CR-V that I was interested in. Middletown Honda is about 2 hours away from NYC by car or by bus but it's worth the trip, you are getting hassle free, pleasant experience.

The The assistant was very kind but they did not clean the car like they say they do after spending $214 my car was really filthy they did not vacuum and they did not clean it like they say they will very disappointed about that
A negative experience for sure! Just finished a negotiation on a car to final pricing. Went out got my insurance card for the new vehicle I THOUGHT I WAS BUYING! Sales Manager Robin comes over to our desk and says the car I thought I was buying was sold 1.5 hours earlier. Really? Incompetence or??? Btw, Desiree was fine in sales associate.

Have been calling them regularly to schedule an appointment for a serious recall to be addressed. Not only do they not answer the phone, but they don't return calls. Will probably be looking for a new car in the next year or two, and I will definitely not be coming to Middletown Honda.
Received horrible customer care. Told my engine was shot. Then after a week spent in a rental and ordering my own engine, my local Honda dealer in Canada told me some questions to ask them. Immediately they started back tracking. $120 later my pilot was fixed. But I spent a thousand for the rental.
I leased a Honda Civic March 2020. I absolutely love my Civic. Osei my sales rep was very helpful and showed me several cars. He made sure I got a good deal. Everyone at the dealership was nice. Jami showed us everything inside and set up my phone. Thanks everyone for making my experience pleasant.
Was going to buy a car but they kept delaYing the purchase. So I had to call them over and over again. I called the finance officer named Jay. On my final call to Jay, I overheard him cursing at me saying that if I ever called again I would tell them that they cant buy the car. This is the type of service we got from them, he cursed at me and we declined to buy the car. So I don't recommend going here at all for a car, no respect.

Horrible customer service. I went to middletown honda to see what was going on with my keyfob. My car is a 2016 Honda civic. I purchased in April 2016. So it is literally 3 years old. While at Honda was spoken to as if I was a child. My keyfob doesn't work, and I told them that. I told them the battery in it was brand new. They proceed to tell me I need a new one. Then they put one in and see for themselves that it didn't work. They said I need a new keyfob. I asked if it could be re-programmed (which I was told it could be). The employees claim it can't be, and that I have to buy a new one (because my car has over 36,000 miles on it). Why should I have to buy a new one when my car is LITERALLY 3 years old? The extended warranty I purchased when I bought my car, apparently doesn't apply to the keyfob. When I asked why they don't stand behind their product, I was told it was because they "didn't make the keys". Awesome.

I can not tell you how horrible they are.. I spent 700 dollars to fix my car there because they advice me to now it turns out that wasn't the problem and they won't refund me ... They basically just took 700 dollars from me for absolutely nothing. HORRIBLE SERVICE!
Service sucks . You call for your car , to see if it's done and ready for pick up. And no one calls you back like " hello I need my car". Service people I dealt with are rude and no customer service skills. Try and call them they never pick up the phone. Looking for other honda dealer to fix my car . It's been a week so far to fixed an ac compressor which they had in stock..so there was no wait to order it. Horrible place!!
Wish I could do 0 stars!! I walked in looking to help to purchase a Honda, was debating between the CR-V and a Pilot. Three salesman saw me walk in and I didn't get acknowledged. 1 walked right past me as he was on the phone, not even a friendly "Hello, someone will be with you shortly." Another salesman saw me standing there, went right back to texting on his phone. Middletown Honda you just lost a buyer because of your lack of professionalism.
After deciding upon a Honda, my wife and I went to Middletown Honda knowing we wanted a CRV-LX after spending hours researching the different cars they made on their website. Upon arrival at the dealership, we were greeted and asked how they could help us. After we told her that we wanted to see one of their sales representatives we were introduced to Katia Cabrera. We told her what we wanted and handed her a list of questions we had. She took the time to answer them in great detail, and then took us to the lot and we picked out the first one we saw. After that we were introduced to Joe the finance representative and he helped us make payment arrangements we could afford. We returned several hours later to pickup the car. We we then led to Sylvia Ortega the delivery coordinator who assisted us with the final paperwork and it was a pleasure speaking with her to make the sale a done deal!
The car was detailed and washed, and was presented to us with a full tank of gas!
Sylvia then took at least an hour explaining everything the car does and how it works.
Middletown Honda has the most courteous and professional sales representatives I have ever had the pleasure to do business with at a car dealership.

Buying a new car would not be high on a list of things I like doing. That said, when you have to shop and buy, it's always good to know you have a salesman like Art Anuskiewicz you can go to. I don't prefer haggling or beating around the bush. Art was always straightforward and direct, in addition to being professional and courteous. I really liked his calm, unhurried manner a great deal. I'm very glad I bought my new 2015 Honda Civic from him and would go back to him again in future. Thanks, Art, for making a difficult task easier.
Just leased a Honda HR-V here. Good deal. And met great people. Knowledgeable, efficient, as well as honest. Originally we were open to all 3 options, buying used, leasing, financing new. Gus patiently answered all the questions we had, bring us to test drive, showing us all the cars we are interested in. Finally we decided to lease. I thought I need to pay more for the initial fee based on the info on their website, but turned out less than I thought. The Finance Manager patiently explains every question I had. Thank you, Brad. Thank you, Gus. And thank you, the lovely lady showing us our new HR-V. We enjoyed the time spending there.

Sales associate and finance manager need to get back to customers when they say they would. I brought my mom and it was terrible. I m on my fourth Honda myself and have been a loyal customer for over 15 years. There won t be a fifth time.
This time around our car experience wasn't the greatest. Both my husband and I decided we needed a larger vehicle for us and our kids. We decided we were going to go the used route which we have done in the past with no issues. We purchased a 2013 Honda Pilot 2 weeks ago. As of today we have found numerous problems that Middletown Honda refuses to acknowledge. We have left several messages for the used car manager and the service manager trying to get these items rectified. Even though there was no car fax obviously doesn't mean that the vehicle was never in an accident.... A day after getting the vehicle home we noticed a kink in the right fender and upon closer inspection we noticed that the front bumper doesn't fit properly as it over hangs on both sides and there has been bad body work done to the fender... we called Honda and they had me drop off the pilot so I was without a car for the day and they did not provide a loaner.. they "attempted" to realign the bumper only to have it line up on one side only. I then noticed that the step pad on the rear bumper was lifting and when I had a body shop inspect it they said that someone had used double sided tape to attach this... this part snaps into the bumper.... so they ordered me a step pad and when I brought the vehicle to them to have them install it they noticed that the back bumper wasn't attached properly.. so they realign it for me and attempted to snap on the new step pad... only to find it doesn't fit! So I had them remove the bumper per their suggestion to make sure that the bumper on the rear of the vehicle is in fact a HONDA bumper... well it is NOT! Its some no named aftermarket bumper from China. They suggested that they front bumper is also aftermarket just by the fit since HONDA and ACURA are notorious for aftermarket parts that do not fit. I am not expecting a used vehicle to be in perfect condition but I feel that something should be done to rectify this issue. I didn't just got to a small mom and pop car shop I came to a HONDA dealer and purchased a certified pre-owned, so obviously who ever inspects the vehicles when they are traded in doesn't know what they are doing. I have yet to make my 1st car payment and already the repairs that need to be done to this vehicle are over $2000!!

My service was fast. I also received a courtesy car wash. My car was given an overall inspection and I was made aware of things to take care of in the near future.
Brought my car in for inspection and they come out with over $1500 worth of repairs needed in order to pass. That's ridiculous! This place is up selling and over charging. Paid $21 for nothing. STAY AWAY!!!
I didn t like the service at this location. Took my vehicle to get a diagnostic for the alarm which keeps on going off for no reason, the door lock that was locked in place and a sound on the muffler. A soon as I got to the location and explain the problem shaun at the service desk tells me that my hood looks uneven. I left the car on a Friday to pick up on Saturday, but never received a call and I called on late Saturday with no answer and left a message. Never got a call back so I called on Monday and spoke to shaun and he stated that the hood lock was bad, but I informed him that I had already got that answer from other honda dealer and replaced the lock twice and the issue was not fix. His replay was well we had to start by replacing the lock and move on to the next part. So I asked, if you place the lock on the vehicle and the problem continues you would take the lock back and place the old one back and his reply was no. What type of shop you take your vehicle to get diagnosed and paid for it. I could do the job they wanted to do of just replacing parts thats not a professional dealer at all. I don t mind paying for a job, but fix the problem and don t just tell me that you are going to replace parts til the problem is found and i have to paid for those parts. I am very disappointed and upset that I wasted money and nothing.

For the first two years of my Accord's life, service dep't was perfec tly reasonable. Decent waiting area, svc done ( I expect) in a resonable timely manner. Then, last visit, they claimed a brake problem and a transmission fluid cleaning necessary. Hmm. I took it to an indepoendent and they said everything was fine. One of them was right.
I did not purchase my Honda here, but I ve been taking it here for service, and it s the only place I ll go! Been taking it here for about two years now and the service guys are great! Dylan Matthews has been extremely helpful over the last few months with getting my civic serviced and meeting its needs, at reasonable prices. Won t go anywhere else, thanks Dylan!!

Today I had my car serviced by Jeremy Stanton. He explained what the issue was and how Honda of Middletown would resolve it. I waited under an hour. When completed, Jeremy returned my car freshly cleaned and explained everything that was done and even did a diagnostic analysis. I am pleased with the service and advice on when to change my fluids and filters. They went above and beyond to accommodate me. Thank you so much! EDIT: I decided to go again and they ripped me off by going from a charge of $250 to $850. They left greasy finger prints on the door. I wrote an email and someone named Christina of Middletown Honda left a voicemail asking me to call her back and she left me the wrong number- she said my number! Saved ridiculous voicemail.
Always trying to gouge you for unnecessary repairs. Takes forever to do a simple inspection and doesn t update you when they re taking forever. Also doesn t offer explanation of issues. Very unprofessional, would not recommend to anyone. Will be purchasing/servicing next vehicle elsewhere.
Looking to lease a 2017 Honda oddyssey. First sales person didn't even answer the questions I asked. He seemed like he had other things to do. I was told he takes on multiple customers so was given a new sales person. She was bright and friendly. Answered all my questions... she knew her stuff! We even got to test drive it. We were in love with the vehicle! told us to give her some information and she will get back to us in 15 minutes to let us know "numbers" (did not even run a credit check). 7 days later after multiple attempts to reach her... ghost girl never contacted us. We were appointed a 3rd sales person who seemed like he really wanted to help. The "numbers" they offered was crazy. He told us the boss said he's practically "giving it to us". Found a dealership in NJ, same new vehicle and features that gave a way better deal ($600/mo. V $390/mo). But we were so turned off by this point we ended up just going with a completely different vehicle, the sales person just got us right from the start. We were told over and over again how Honda's do not depreciate like most vehicles but the selling strategies stink. If you want a real belittling, confusing and bad car buying experience, like how you see in the movies... this is DEFINITELY the place. Middletown Honda... you really raping people up in here. Up in here.
After listening to the specifics cocnerns/issues that I had to incorporate into my decision, Marlon quickly narrowed it down to a handful of potential vehicles that would meet my needs. Although my purchase price exceeded my budget by a bit, it by far represented the biggest ban for my buck. Extremely happy with my purchase and will be recommending Middletown to family and friends!

Every time I have to deal with this dealership it's an issue no one knows what they are doing. I don't trust taking my car there because the mechanics they have don't know much and neither do the parts department I was given the wrong part went back inside and told them it was the wrong part and they insisted it was the right one. Guess what it was the WRONG part . Ever hear of the customer is always right !
This was the second dealership I visited looking for a new Honda Odyssey. Gus greeted our family of 5 at the door, very nice, casual, not pushing it too much like I have seen other places. He spent a lot of time with us, helping us figure out what we wanted, walking around the parking lot back and forth checking out a few cars, and figuring out our financing. It wasn't an easy sale, and he did a phenomenal job! With two little kids and an infant, my wife and I were very happy they had a huge fishtank, TV with cartoons, water and a little area for kids tp run around. He quoted a price and then when I got the bill it was less. He went out of his way to make sure the job was done right and that I was satisfied. The team worked together and made my experience hassle free, even with a busy schedule.
