Not a good service experience this time. Loaner car was dirty and out of gas. When I asked the service rep if he knew he was giving me a car with no gas he said, "I'm doing the best I can."
When I picked up my car it was also unwashed.

As of matter of fact I do have to make a couple of comments regarding my experience at your dealership. For one the worst I have ever had, I felt judged and mistreated. I came in with my wife and daughter on my day off and I had sweats on. I wanted to buy a suv in cash and the sales man named mark treated me as a broke down hoodlum who cannot offered a Mercedes Benz. For one he did not even let me test drive a car, he instead jumped in the driver's seat and insisted to drive him self. That was a huge turn offfff, he spoke to much about him self and not the car I was looking for he was no help what's so Everrrr. The funny thing is that three days later I walked into elliott Bay auto brokers and had a blastttt and drove 6 cars before I dropped 65k in cash on a bmw 550i.they did not judge me what's so ever but instead insisted that I drove as many cars as I wanted. Mark the sales man discriminated on me and I would NEVER Recommend Mercedes-Benz of Bellevue to anyone who does not look like they have money or that is not of white background. You lost a great customer with over 500k in the bank account.

Absolute best service - hands down! I purchased my vehicle prior to moving to Washington in 2014 and Mercedes-Benz of Bellevue has been my only service provider. I tell Mark any concerns I may be experiencing at that time and it's taken care of... No question and no up sell. Mind you I am a die hard BMW guy, but my next vehicle my be a Mercedes as their customer service is unswerving. Thanks a mil Mark!

This is my second time purchasing a car from MB-Bellevue and I truly appreciate the help from Christopher Wright. He is very passionate, knowledgable about the cars and various kinds of features, friendly and extremely helpful when helping us decide which car we should get.

We won't consider going anywhere else if we were to get another car from MB. :)

The buying experience was good. Salesman answered by questions, but seemed to be hiding something. A few days after buying the vehicles, the check engine light came one. Turned out they sold me a defective Ml 350 with the balance shaft problem. As some people may be aware, this is a very expensive repair which ended up costing me $7000.00 additionally. I am gathering information about this franchise, and have contracted a lawyer to investigate a possible case of fraud since the vehicle was guaranteed by the sales person to be in perfect working condition, without any stored codes in the on-board computer.

I was thinking it's good to sell a Mercedes at a Mercedes dealership, turns out it was a joke. I've done all the maintenance in the dealership regularly for 4+ years, detailed car nicely before selling. Wasted 1 hour and they finally gave me an awful quote, probably because I told them I need to sell the car as quickly as possible. The appraisal was done by "AutoNation" which has bad reputation if you do some research online. . Their "boss" even told me "You can try any other dealership or Carmax, and they will give you the same price". I told him this is 6K lower than the KBB price, then he said "KBB is just a guide", blah blah blah, if any other dealer or Carmax gave me significantly higher quote than this, let him know. Well, thanks to his advice, I tried Carmax for the first time of my life and I got the KBB price.The whole process took less than 1 hour, plus they took cared my loan with my bank, and I got the check quickly.

By the way, Dealer only checked my vehicle for like 5 mins, Carmax examined my car thoroughly for at least 25 minutes(e.g. fluid, engine, suspension, etc). They gave me a report about my E-class which of course no issue found (I did Service B 2 month ago, Mercedes's mechanic told me the car was in great shape).

I had no regrets being a Mercedes owner for 4 years, my car never gave me any trouble. I thought our relationship would end happily since I'm moving to Japan for work and I would like try something new there. This experience just made me disappointed.

I had such a pleasant experience working with Denis when I bought my car here. The whole interaction was never salesy or pushy and he felt like a family member shopping with me for a car rather than a sales guy trying to make a buck. This was the first place I came in the morning and its where I ended up buying my car later that evening. Another really happy customer, Thanks MB Bellevue and Denis!!

Since purchasing my MB, I decided to have it serviced only at MB-Bellevue...my service representative ( Ed Brown) knows my car and only recommends any service appropriate which I appreciate. Although a little more expensive than some places, I am confident that the service I get is appropriate and well done. That the car is delivered clean in and out is a bonus that is impressive. If there is a need not supplied by MB Bellevue (body repair), recommendations have been made that fill the bill. This is the last car I will own because of my age (89), so I want it serviced to last. I am confident that I receive the appropriate care.

Was really disappointed with my service. I called Thursday about reselling a car back to them from 2015. I had my car serviced there since I bought it except one time, where I went to a closer location to my work. I was asked for the VIN number to pull up an estimate, and to go in on Saturday morning between 9-10. I never received the estimate, and then when I went in, I had to wait around for 40 minutes, And when we reminded the receptionist, she literally said oh I m sorry I forgot about you. And then at the end, we were only to be given someone who was poorly trained because he only pulled the quote from autonation.

When I followed up with The sales person I spoke with on the phone that had an apt with me, he told me that there was a training that required them to get estimates from KBB, autonation, Edmonds etc. I never gave him any issues about the fact he wasn t there nor prepared.

He continued to ask me if I was happy with the quote, and when I said no and why, he asked me if I wanted to still move forward with the sale - by which time I had already informed him I already left because he wasn t there and we didn t receive a good quote. No effort in resolution at all. And when I explained that I wasn t very confident with the quote and only would consider if they did a through review and gave me an updated quote again, he replied semi-scaring me that it will only get harder as I drive the car.

I believe the quality of work is very good. The competent advisor staff is very cordial. However service has become much too expensive! I put only 200 miles a month on my GLK, yet the 30,000 mile service was $1,300. I was told that the transmission will require service next year so I won't get off that cheap! I've owned a whole bunch of M-Bs since my first one 51 years ago, and have always had them dealer-serviced. I will be going to an independent for my next service.

I love love loved Barrier and wanted to keep that "family" feel experience when Auto Nation bought them out. And its ... not bad at all, they still kick butt at getting me in last second and taking care of things quickly... however its the little things, like my car went in for service and when I picked it up, they said they washed and vacuumed it but when I got in, not only was it messier and not washed they had removed the start button and a few things to work on them and left them strewn about the vehicle. It was good service I just miss those little touches that take it from good to amazing.

When Autonation took over customer service went down. After a couple of years, Mercedes Benz of Bellevue has returned to the way it used to be (mostly) in the glory days of Barrier. Thank you autonation for giving us back the customer service us long time clients are used too. This review should be considered specific to MB of Bellevue. Other autonation dealers (like the one next door) would get a 1 star review.

Stephen and the staff was extremely helpful, courteous, and very professional thru the buying process. Our experience with them has been nothing short of a great positive experience. We were buyers from out of state as well and Stephen was very accommodating. He picked up us from the Seattle airport so that we can complete the paperwork needed.
I was very impress with the service and highly recommend this dealership!!!

Just moved to Washington and I chose Bellevue as my dealer and what a mistake.

Awful. Charged me $4.95 to top off my windshield wiper fluid. Other MB dealers have topped off my oil for free. Received an email later in the week saying something was discovered during my last visit and a specific service was due, nothing was said to me while I was there so now I have to make another appointment and come back a week later instead of discussing it with me when the car was in for scheduled maintenance? Lastly, in addition to the scheduled maintenance I noted a few other items of concern and when I arrived home I saw a note saying they didn't have enough time to diagnose the problem. Wonder why they didn't say something to me when they called to tell me the car was done. Had a 7 am service appointment and was there at 6:50 to drop the car and that wasn't enough time?

The Service advisor rushed me through the review of what occurred or he would have told me about the follow up service. I wasn't even out of his office when he began talking to someone else. Apparently I was too much of an inconvenience to be treated properly.

Worst MB experience in over a decade.

Getting worse and worse. they used to be okay 4-5 years ago, but these days the experience is not smooth. when you visit the dealerships of luxury brands, you are supposed to feel that they care for the customers. and well organized. I was very embarrassed with the recent experience of this dealership. I found even a non-luxury brand dealership is better than this one.

When they don't have the loner car, I had to wait 1 hour to get the shuttle to get to the rental car office. and then I had no choice but to drive a smallest car from the enterprise rental. and they didn't call up for the update or progress of the work. I have owned luxury cars for many years in a few states, but this one is the worst of all brands and dealerships. and they quoted me $600 for the oil change regular service. the high price for the low quality service. they recommended me to change the brake from 2 years ago. but this time I talked with a mech of local garage, he said my brake will last 10-20k more. don't trust what this dealership recommends for your car. get a second opinion.

And when I scheduled the pre-paid service by mistake only after 6 months when I was very busy, nobody at barrier told me I should have once per a year.

As long as, this dealership is the nearest MB from my home, I will never buy MB again.

Fantastic team! They made us feel welcome and worked to earn our business. I contacted them a few days before and arranged for an appointment. We were so pleased with the service we received that we decided on taking the car home on the same day. At no point we felt pressured to buy or add extra options. I can't ask for more. We're looking forward to a long term relationship with Mercedes of Bellevue, and to a great experience owning and servicing our car with them.

I was looking to lease a new car but had not decided what I wanted. i met Thoai at the Mercedes Benz in bellevue and he was awesome. He took is time to explain every detail of the SUV's and also helped me with options on finance. The whole process was very comfortable and i was able to complete the process within few hours of going back with my paperwork. It was one of the best experience I've had to date on making a big purchase. Great sales guy. the whole team was truly amazing.

Can't believe a three hour service doesn't include the use of a loaner car. We live outside the shuttle zone, so had to just hang around the dealership for the bulk of the morning, waiting.
Two other comments: back when we purchased the car, the sales experience with Ashley was great, but the dealing with financing was almost overwhelmingly frustrating and confusing.
Overall, customer service personnel do as well as they can to keep their clients happy, but the team is understaffed and doesn't have enough loaners for their clients to use.

I had a very tough time finding the actual part I needed for my R230 SL500. John, Manny, and Joel in the parts department helped me so much and really took away a lot of stress I was having about getting this part on time.
These guys are professionals and I highly recommend them to anyone with MB parts needs. Truly a lifesaver for me today!

Stopped to get some leasing options on a car and was approached by a salesman names Jacob Baker. He told me he had to ask some "company policy questions" and when I told him that I wanted to keep my payments around $650 he said "I can get you in a used car or a loaner, people come to Mercedes to treat themselves." I was appalled by his condesending comments which implied I couldn't afford a Mercedes. After seeing I was disgusted with his arrogance he then offered to show me some vehicle's. I said no thank you and left the dealership to give my money to Volvo. Maybe I should have asked "where do the peasants shop?" I don't recommend buying a car here.

5 stars for the salesman, Yaro...great guy, very pleasant and helpful. 5 stars for the aesthetically pleasing decor and amenities. 1 star for Autonations business model which stems from Car Max's no haggle price. That platform is fine, if they offered fair price on trades. Do your homework and know your cars worth before trading. CarMax was able to offer $2500 more than this dealership was offering for my car--they completely low balled the offer. This dealer has a company in TX that gives them the value for the trade, and there is no negotiating. The cars on the lot are priced fairly competitively, so if you are paying cash or are not dealing with a trade, this is a great place to go. Ask for Yaro. He really did a great job for us. Unfortunately, we ended up purchasing from a dealership that was not part of AutoNation in order to get as better deal for our trade.

Buyers beware! This dealership changed my warranty...

Buyers beware! This dealership changed my warranty for my car without my signature or consent. Then they tried to cover it up and make it look like they sold me something they didn t. On top of this all, the General Manager also accused me of lying about the warranty I had purchased and what was in my sales file. I had to bring in my original sales documents to prove to them I was telling the truth. To make matters even worse, they gave me an option to either to fix my car or to buy another car (had to be new). I told him I would absolutely do not want a new car that would leave me with negative equity. We looked at all types of cars, the cars my wife wanted were all sold , but when we got frustrated and tried to leave they magically appeared. Additionally, when we were interested in some vehicles they showed me their print out of KBB prices, however when we went home and looked up the car prices online and the dealerships prices were 5-10k higher then what the actual KBB website said was fair market value of the car.

What this dealership did was warrenty fraud and should lose its dealer license for it. The photos below show the fraud they committed.

3/20/19 Update: Received the generic PR response from the dealership that's very much the same for all other negative reviews. That does not show me that you "care about all our customers and wish to restore your good faith in our dealership".
I've already stated my honest and objective experience here. What is your GM going to be proposing? Is there an investigation opened for the issue reported? Was the individual involved talked to? Is there any proposed solutions to remedy the issue? I do not see any concrete actionable items been proposed at all, so why would I spend even more time to discuss with you for your benefit?

This issue was escalated to both AutoNation and Mecedes-USA, and they also promised to "look into" the issue, so we'll see what will come of it.

WOW, NOT the kind of experience I d expect from a Luxury car dealership. I don t write reviews often, but this is something other people who shops Mercedes need to be aware of.

When we first entered the dealership, it took a little while for the reception to locate the car sales person we had initially setup contact with, Bernard, who did overall a good job with our Mercedes experience in this particular dealership. But when we were first greeted at the car lot with Bernard, however, he introduced this other gentleman named Jiband(or something in that effect) to help him show us the cars around, no problem, but that s where it s going downhill really fast!! Obviously completely inexperienced and don t have a single sense of customer service, he asked us which cars we were interested in. When we told him the couple models that we were thinking of, he wanted a specific model, trim, color and such and getting his facts completely wrong on how these cars are being leased vs. being financed. And not even showing a slightest interest in showing us the cars we were interested in, he interrogated us on picking a specific model and getting down to our budget Well, sales 101 for ya, you gotta get your client to like a product before you talk about these things
Now getting to the test drive part again, he tried to pressure us into picking only one car to test drive, and again, this whole trip (all 10 minutes of it), didn t show a slightest interest in getting us like the car, being on his phone most of the time, didn t give clear directions, and getting combative when questioned on him being more clear when giving directions. Worst of all, with the whole test drive being the shortest test drive for any cars I ve ever bought(basically get on the immediately off the highway), when my wife finished her turn to test the car, and when I took over the driver seat, he was leading us directly back to the dealership, like 300 yards away. How are you getting your clients to like a car in 300 yards?? And after we get back, he needed to ask permission from someone to have us drive another car

Worst car salesman I ve ever experienced in my life, and I bought quite a few cars

The cars themselves are not bad, and from the first look the leasing and financing options are fair. Bernard on the other hand, was pretty helpful for the rest of the experience. I d expect much higher level of customer service and experience from a Luxury brand like Mercedes, certainly a huge disappointment for us, and not sure if we will spend our money in this dealership.

So here it is, you re warned.

Amazing experience and excellent customer service!!! This is my 2nd purchase from Mercedes Bellevue and both times had excellent customer experience all around. Highly recommend our Sales Associate Spencer Siese as he was detailed and worked with me to get the car I wanted. First Class all around and would not go anywhere else.

My experience with the service was really disappointing.

Once I got there, I spent about 40 min waiting for a person whom I've been assigned to, to just realize that they do not have the air bags for my vehicle at all, as it was "never ordered". OK, one mistake, not a big deal. I've sat with the service rep in person until the request for my air bags had been successfully submitted.
Ok, after waiting for another few weeks, I've received a voicemail from Mercedes of Bellevue confirming that that the parts for my vehicle had finally arrived and asking me to call them back to schedule an appointment. Great, finally! So I called them back, and the service representative told me that they have never had or even requested any airbag parts for me - there is nothing in the system on my name, even though they did find my info there. So, I was asked to be patient as they make a request for an airbag for me... again. And I was told to wait for at least one month as the expected time of arrival on those air bags. Well, my patience is not over, but that does not seem right. Mercedes Benz in Bellevue, please do something to better serve your clients.

I took my 2012 C250 for repairs. Intermittent slow cranking after engine start. After diagnostic testing, and this took about 6hrs, the only indication was the battery was low. I forked over $372 for a new battery, and I am STILL experiencing the same issue. I know it is not the battery, so just exactly what is the problem? My car should come back for repairs, I just really don't want to spend another $372...

Went in for scheduled maintenance on my E350 Bluet...

Went in for scheduled maintenance on my E350 Bluetech and was met immediately by a service rep who took my information, and then showed me the waiting area. Since it was going to be a while and I had skipped breakfast, I asked about a ride to the mall. I was immediately introduced to the shuttle driver who took me there in an immaculate, new MB SUV. He took me to the area where all the restaurants are, showed me where to meet for a pick-up, and gave me a card with his number on it. When I called for pick-up, the phone was answered immediately, and about six minutes later I was picked-up. When I returned to the dealership I was informed that my vehicle was being washed and would be ready in about 15 minutes, about an hour less than the estimate. The service rep came for me, explained the bill, what had been done, and then added that the wood on my dash was prematurely faded - and that they had taken the liberty of ordering all new wood for me. It will be about six weeks coming, and they would call me when it arrives to arrange for its installation.

Everybody I met behaved in a friendly and professional manner. The waiting area and the shop were immaculate and the wait was pleasant. I am impressed, and will continue to drive past another MB dealership where my experience has been completely different, to return to MB of Bellevue for all my future vehicle maintenance.

We purchased a car from here a few weeks ago. Our salesman, Mike, from Mercedez-Benz of Bellevue was fantastic. He came over to help us right as we walked in, and he was very helpful throughout the entire car buying process. Not only was he very friendly, but he made sure that we were aware of what was going on throughout the whole process. He took extra steps to make sure we were happy with the car we wanted. I definitely recommend asking for Mike if you are thinking about purchasing a car from here.

Anthony is the best SA I have ever come across, being new to US, Everyone else tried to take advantage of me but Anthnoy is not the typical SA that we come across everyday, He is just straight forward "no-nonsense" guy, didn't pressurize me to sign the deal. Though I didn't shake hands with him in this deal (due to personal reason, I opted out of the deal in the last minute), I'm pretty sure my next car will be Mercedes and that too from MercedezBellevue and SA will be Anthnoy :). Tried getting a used Subaru Outback here. The sales associate was good at communicating on times and reservations, but that was about it. She knew very little about the car (or cars in general for that matter). Wouldn't work with me on the price OR maintenance (needed a timing belt and had some external damage).

I was still willing to buy it pending a pre buyer's inspection, but they wouldn't even work with me on that. I finally had to walk away from it only to get a call an hour and a half later that they WOULD in fact let me get it checked out.

Took it to Walker's Renton Subaru the next day to get it checked out. To their credit, passed inspection just fine. However, WRS had the same model, year, and mileage on their lot. Offered it to me for less money, plus the timing belt had been changed, and no damage to the exterior.

Funny thing is that car had just come onto the lot that morning, and if Mercedes had just worked with me initially on the pre buyer's check I would have purchased their vehicle.

I had a fantastic experience at Mercedes-Benz of Bellevue. I came there on Saturday night interested in leasing a new C-Class, and the staff there were extremely professional and helpful. Not being a stereotypical Mercedes customer, I had to make sure I was getting the right deal I could afford, so I had some very specific requests regarding the lease conditions and structure, but Gregg Prokop (as well as his sales manager Michael, and all other staff working late on Saturday night) treated me with great patience and respect, accommodated my requests as much as they could, gave me a fair price for my trade-in, and I believe I got a very reasonable lease. The next day I came to sign the papers and pick up the car, and again I was treated very well by the staff, everyone was very helpful, from the nice lady at the front desk (I forgot to ask her name) to Mr. MacLaren in Finance, and everyone else. Gregg demonstrated great attention to detail, explained everything I needed to know about the new car, and answered all my questions. I would definitely recommend to check out this dealership, at the very least you'll be treated very well there, and maybe you'll even drive away in a beautiful new car.

I brought my GL 450 in for Servicing. The air suspension was bad and they suggested I replace the brakes and rotors which I did.($4,100) as my wife drove off she realized she could not roll down the driver side window. The service rep said to come back in a few days and they will replace it because the switch was physically broken. The next morning when my wife tried to take my son to school the car would not go into gear because the transmission switch was broken. When I brought it back in to the dealer they said they would not cover that and it was $1,300 to fix. I am now filing a small claims suit against them. Obviously a Tech must have been rough with the car to physically break the window switch and then the transmission switch. Be aware the service reps are very nice and cordial but the actual people working on your car can physically destroy your car and they won't take responsibility. Off to small claims.

Brought car in for service. Advised that I needed brakes, two tires and alignment. One tire needs be replaced but they're taking over an hour to do so. Turns out none of the advised repair didn't need to be done for another 5k miles. Really wish washy on the service.

Update. Here again. 1 1/2 hours service has turned into 2 1/2 to 3 hours. Slow slow slow. Would have went home but they don't offer shuttle anymore because of the control-ya virus.

Under normal circumstances, I'm less inclined to write reviews but this case certainly warrants one. Mercedes-Benz of Bellevue was the best car buying experience I've ever been a part of. All the staff were professional, prompt and courteous. Especially the salesman who assisted me, Mr. Jeff Lewis. Jeff understands that in most cases, time is more valuable than money; to say he was "prompt" would be an understatement. He listened intently to what I wanted (and didn't want) and immediately went to work to find the perfect car...off the showroom floor. He prepared upfront financial data, was honest about every detail and made sure the transaction went as smooth as possible. Moreover, he has followed up with me directly even weeks later to make sure all the services or various other action items were completed to my satisfaction. It is my sincere hope to work with Jeff again, but also, that you get the pleasure to buy from him as well.

Thank you Mercedes-Benz of Bellevue and Mr. Jeff Lewis for making my return business an easy decision.

I can't say enough thank yous to Skye and to Sean, Josh and Ingrid, too. All were courteous, professional and gracious. It seems so right that the classiest, most reliable car brand would have people people who exhibit the same qualities of professionalism and excellent service.

All my experiences with the staff at Barrier have been top notch. They are courteous, punctual and reliable. There are less expensive places, to be sure, but the hours of operation, convenience being open Saturday, shuttle or a loaner car make the car repair experience almost pleasant. I have had only one occasion where a return visit was necessary, and they stood behind their work. These are good, honorable people.

I have since found out subsequent to writing this review the brake job recommended by the dealer service technician/advisor wasn't necessary.

I took my 2015 GL350 Bluetec to another service provider and he looked at the brakes and recommended only changing the rear brake pads as they were worn below the recommended thickness. This is pretty upsetting as the difference in price between rear brake pad replacement and full brake job is about $1000!!!!!! I plan on registering a complaint with my service advisor and the service manager given this information.

Mark is great to work with. I was a bit disappointed that it took 2 days to get my car back and one of the warranty issues was still unresolved.
I'm also a bit concerned about the longevity of the brake system and the fact that the cost of brake pads and rotors is extremely costly. I'm hopeful I can find an aftermarket solution in the future to reduce the cost of ownership.

I was thoroughly impressed by all the staff at Mercedes Benz Bellevue from the moment I started looking at my car all the way through purchase. Everyone I worked with was highly professional, prompt, and detail oriented. Jacob went the extra mile throughout the process and quickly answered my text messages with detailed responses, personally installed my all-weather mats, got me an incredibly smooth and hassle-free trade-in experience, and generally provided customer service par excellence. It is especially notable how everyone put forward such excellent service in the midst of a pandemic, and the dealership took social distancing, masking, and cleanliness seriously.
