I am very happy with the quality of the products. A few times I have went to order things that are out of stock, so that can be frustrating.
I haven t received my rug yet but I m excited. It s unfortunate that you can t stack discounts though, like free shipping in addition to my 10% off for new sign up.

The store was so pretty in person and I found some lovely pottery, well priced and looked at their site for a little inspiration of where to place the pieces. The staff was helpful, knowledgeable and wrapped up my goodies in a pretty bag and tissue.
Online, I ordered some additional pieces for my home and had the same great experience. I wish I could hire them to redo my home, but in the meantime, I will just continue to order online and watch the videos.

I also love their website and spend at least a couple hours a week doing some serious drooling over the shopping site and the blog. In a marketplace driven by social media where most of the goods sold here can be purchased from another seller for equal or less money I would have thought customer service would be important.
For example you can purchase the exact same ring top kitchen canisters at Pottery Barn a company that actually has a customer service department!! They won t cost you any more money and you ll actually get them delivered to you faster.
If you should need to return something be prepared to only get an unexplained fraction of your money back.
If you make inquiry to this they will send you a link referring you to their return policy. The policy that fails to address your situation.
It s a sad day when a company such as McGee has a customer service department that is subpar to needing help with something with the IRS. If getting hold of the IRS is easier and the people you come contact with our more helpful than someone sell hocking home goods I ll shop elsewhere.
This is my favorite design website. So many great tips and absolutely inspiring. I have ordered several items from them and have been very pleased with the quality of the items. The items are very unique. One item did come damaged and I am awaiting the replacement. However, the orders are slow to arrive and the customer service is slow to respond. Although, when they do, they are helpful. Also shipping costs are very high. I am hesitant to order larger furniture items from them, because the delivery for smaller items is slow. Overall, a great home design resource. I far prefer them to Pottery Barn or Restoration Hardware.
Only didn t give 5 stars because the checkout process was a bit clunky. A smoother checkout especially when using a discount code would be much appreciated:) Great site though, amazing products!
Love these products so much!! I would decorate my whole house in McGee and Co if I could. It s a little pricey on some items but I love the style and overall feel of this brand.

Great web site (from a newcomer to the Netflix series).
Based on style I would start them at 4 stars. However, I m removing 1 star because I ve found many of the exact same products for much less on other sites, even including the manufacturer s own website. McGee adds a ridiculous upcharge to their products, just giving them different names so you can t easily price shop. TIP: Use the Pinterest Chrome extension and you ll be able to find the same or similar product pinned by other retailers. I saved over $100 on a rug using that.
The second star deduction is because they charge shipping BY PRICE. What retailer in their right mind does this when we live in the age of free shipping? Yes, they are not Amazon but they have to compete in a retail environment influenced by Amazon (that s how capitalism works). Most small businesses at least just charge you what they have to pay for shipping which is, you know, based on weight/dimensions. They're not trying to make a profit off of shipping. Charging $9 shipping for a hand towel which you've overpriced at $35 is highway robbery.
I've told our interior designer to not suggest any more products from McGee until they change their pricing practices.
I love the site & the rug delivery was so quick! The decor pieces always come to me so fast & in perfect condition. They re my go to shop for home decor & inspiration!

McGee is probably one of my favorite sites. I absolutely love the Studio McGee aesthetic. I ve ordered several times and all my products have been shipped in perfect condition, perfectly protected, excellent quality and all gorgeous. Received the Arlo chair today. love it so much. The chair was well protected as we have a rainstorm here in so cal today. delivery made sure it was wrapped and they handled it carefully. honestly if I could, I would furnish my whole house and styled by McGee.
Obsessed. Every detail is so yummy. The staff were friendlier than I expected and super helpful and not judgemental. Lots of speedy price points as anticipated but a surprising amount of product at very modest prices too! Lovely mix, I ll be back and back and back.

Beautiful pieces and outstanding customer service. I ordered the aldo leather pouf from the website. It was a lovely piece, but the smell of the leather was very strong and chemical-like. I contacted the customer service, and was of assured this was a defect from the manufacturer. I was given options to return or exchange the item. Hannah thoroughly and cheerfully resolved my problem in a timely manner.
While trying to order a rug on line, their website never gave me confirmation that my order was complete nor did it give me a confirmation #. I assumed the order didn t go through and several days later I ordered the same rug. Apparently the first order went through without giving me a confirmation # and they shipped 2 rugs. It literally took a week of emails back and forth explaining that I didn't need 2 rugs, and the problem was on with their website. They finally agreed to take it back without a Re-stocking fee. I ve never encountered a less helpful customer service group, ever. Good luck getting anyone to answer when you call.
I have refrained from posting anything about my experience with McGee & Co., hoping that we'd find a reasonable solution in a reasonable amount of time, but this has been one of the most frustrating experiences with a furniture vendor to date.
We initially ordered a dresser from McGee & Co. back in August '19, initially due to arrive in October, but was then backordered. Okay, totally understandable. Manufacturing delays happen. They informed us that the dresser was backordered until the end of October and then to be delivered 4-6 weeks after there (~December, yikes).
The dresser actually gets delivered in mid-November. Upon closer inspection, we noticed that it was defective. The top of the dresser was not properly screwed in to the base of the dresser (see photos).
So, McGee and Co. sends the delivery guys back to my house to fix the dresser because it's in their skillset to fix a dresser? Well, evidently not, because the delivery guys could not do anything about the dresser. So two months of back and forth emails ensue between me and their support team - trying to get some replacement parts for the dresser, trying to get a replacement for the dresser, etc. etc. two months of them telling me that "we've reached out to the manufacturer" when I still have a defective dresser that I can't fully use. We basically paid $1500 for an Ikea quality dresser. The dresser is not worth the time I have spent following up with their support team.
It is now almost the end of January. We ordered this dresser at the beginning of August. So, now I've been in this ordeal for almost half a year with no resolution in sight.
Useful to see video of Brooklyn artist block printing her designs for pillow fabrics. The inspiration provided by her surroundings is easily seen. And the cost of the finished product more easily explained. I have ordered one of her designs as a result.

We received a coffee table and from day one it had a green tint to it (when viewed at angles) and white discoloration that looked like scuff marks. There were no actual scratches or scuffs, it was how the table was finished. Under certain lighting or at angles theses markings were very visible. There was also a dull sheen in certain areas where the finish did not apply evenly. We sent photos to company asking if there was anything they could do. We were told that these things were all "normal variances with the table" and they would offer no support. If this table was a couple hundred dollars I would agree. However, for a table that is over $2k, I hoped there would have been more in the way of customer service. We will not be purchasing from McGee & Co. In the future and will not recommend them to others. Thanks!
I received the run around regarding the availability/delivery of the item I purchased. The date it was supposed to be delivered kept getting pushed back. Over 2 months after the item was purchased I was eventually told the item was lost and couldn t be shipped. When asked how long it would take to get another bench delivered they said another 4 - 6 weeks! So annoying and disappointing. Please don t list items for sale you can t deliver.

THE worst customer service I have ever encountered. I have left 3 voicemails and emailed 4 times without a response. There is not a direct number to call that doesn t send you to voicemail. I never received an email confirming order now need to return item but i do not have a packing slip nor an order number. No response yet. It has been over 2 weeks of daily attempts on my part to reach ANYONE!!

Fantastic quality and thoughtfully curated items that are not just the same old same old. Shipping is a bit high is the only negative.
I would never do business with this company again. We ordered a large table and chairs. The table arrived with a crack right in the middle. They agreed to send us a new table. The two additional chairs we ordered arrived completely shattered. After a week of sending numerous emails, I received an email back that a claim was entered in, and we are awaiting replacements. In the meantime, we recieved our replacement tabletop. They didn t drill the holes to align with the base (2cm off), so my husband had to take the time to drill new holes.
I am beyond disappointed and frustrated at the wasted time we have spent on these issues. I placed this order back in November. It s now four months later, and I m still trying to get my complete dining room set. If you love their design, be prepared for things not to go smoothly.
