I was looking at a 2015 Equinox and went in last week to get numbers for monthly payments and also interest rates. I met with Stu in sales and he was awesome and very helpful. However when I went back to the Finance department and sat down in Adam's office to go over numbers and everything, I became very uncomfortable and basically lost interest in the purchase of the vehicle. He went over things with me and I saw some of the numbers and realized that it just wasnt the right time to purchase a car. He kept telling me that he was confused as to why I was in his office if I wasnt going to go through with the sale and I said because I didnt know monthly payments and interest rates. He kept basically bashing my current car saying that it wasnt big enough for what I needed and I said well then thats my decision. He kept trying to push the sale on me even after I had told him numerous times that I wasnt ready and that it wasnt going to happen tonight and wasnt the right time. He looked at me and said what should I tell my sales manager when he asks why the sale didnt go through and I said thats not my place to answer. He then said well what can we do to get you to buy the Equinox and I said again thats not my place to tell you. I asked him for my keys to my current car and and he just kept trying to push the sale on me. I was so uncomfortable and left the dealership in tears. It was honestly the worst experience I have ever had.

Stopped in for a service estimate on several things like installing a hitch and some trany service... They said they didn't have time but would contact me, never emailed it to me and never called. It's been 3 weeks. Same day I ordered $400 in parts, they said 5 days. I waited 20 day, no call, nothing, so I went in. The parts guy was already getting yelled at for failing to call someone back so i didn't bother with mine. Looks like communication and follow-up are not part of their business model so I'm not going back. Your results are sure to very but they failed me twice.

Brought my car in due to a check engine light and ...

Brought my car in due to a check engine light and low tones coming from the engine. Found out the check engine was due to rust around my gas inlet and the low tones were due to low antifreeze caused by a leaking water pump that needed replacement. I had a new ACDelco (OEM) pump put in elsewhere, but my car continued to leak antifreeze. I brought it back explaining that the diagnostic may be incorrect. They contacted me immediately after my inquiry and looked at it again after (no charge) and told me my new water pump was leaking. Seemed unlikely, but I brought it elsewhere for a diagnostic. I was told "the water pump appears to be leaking, but I've never seen an ACDelco water pump leak before." Since it seemed unlikely to happen, a further inspection into the issue was done. It was found the coolant leak was actually coming from the water outlet tube above the water pump and all that needed to be done was a seal and o-ring replacement for the outlet tube. New water pump with labor was around 550$ (about 750$ to their shop do it), their diagnostic was 140$, and outlet tube replacement was 230$. That's over 700$ of things I didn't need, I did include the 140$ diagnostic since that was for nothing, I also included having to constantly fill the coolant. I drive a chevy, so I was hoping they would be very keen on the inner working of my particular car and issue identification. I don't think the proper time was put in on my car. Rough money loss.
On a positive note, I've been there a total of 3 times everyone working there was respectful. They did take my car back in to check it out again almost immediately after I contacted them at no charge. The waiting area is nice, and the coffee tastes great.

Just got back from getting some routine maintenance done on my husbands truck. I m sure the quality of the work was fine but NO ONE WAS WEARING A MASK! Not the guy at the service desk, not the mechanics and not the sales people. They offered me to wait in the indoor lounge but did not have the option of covered outdoor socially distant safe seating. Are you kidding me?? I sat for an hour sitting on the concrete outside. Very disappointing experience.

I was referred to Jade by another satisfied customer. I was frustrated with another dealership because of the constant runaround and lack of knowledge. Jade made this process quick and painless. Not only did he answer all my questions thoroughly and honestly, he cared that I was comfortable with my decision. I never have purchased/leased a vehicle before, and Jade made this a pleasant, joyous experience. I would not have wanted this to go any other way. Jade's integrity, knowledge, persistence, and concern is needed in more salespeople to create a loyal, happy, and satisfied customer.

Mauer Chevrolet helped me get a car that I love and can afford. They definitely have better customer service than any other dealership out there in my experience. They were completely understanding to all my needs and went out of their way to find the perfect car for me, even staying late some nights. My new car is everything I asked for from the sparkle in the paint job to cost of my monthly payments. I would and have recommended Mauer Chevrolet to anyone looking for a new car.

If I could give a no star review I would. Buyer be ware at this place. The fast talking and signing stuff before they make the deal is deceptive. They could not or would not deal as well as another dealership. Kept saying that no way the other dealership could make the deal they were quoting. I walked away from purchasing a vehicle from Mauer and went to the other dealership and bought my truck which I got the deal I wanted, the payments and the length of loan I wanted. My new truck is even an upgrade from the one I looked at over at Mauer. The part I do not like, is that after I walked away from the deal they ran our credit report, which caused a ding in the report and then had the audacity to send us a letter stating that they could not offer financing to us. Seriously, we have great credit, got our loan through the other dealership for 3.2% and no GM financing at 5.99%. Deceptive practices at this place.

Sneaky people working in the service center here. Unfortunate for Joe cause I think hes awesome, someone should tell him.

Needed recalls, asked how long on the one that was actually needed, was told hour and a half. OK. They insisted on doing all three though. OK thats fine how much longer will that take?? Maybe another hour. OK. Asked again when I called to reschedule and again when they called to confirm. Same answer 1 and a half or 2. It took 8 hours until they called me and that was after I called asking how much longer and he goes almost done 30 more minutes.
They told me at the desk when I brought it in it would in fact be 3 to 4 hours and that made more sense to me, and he claimed he only quoted me on the one recall. I do believe him on that but his tough guy attitude and demeanor reallllly put me off. Just plain old bad business.

So I leased a 2016 Chevy Cruze and it was good until my trunk flooded on August 11th and fried the battery and the entire electric in the car... The last time I seen my car it smelled of mold and the entire inside of the trunk was rusted and wet. The car did not start on August 11th and I thought it was just a dead battery and we looked in the trunk where the battery is and the entire battery was under water and fried. It had rained very hard the night before and so I had it towed to Mauer Chevy hoping they would take care of it because it was CLEARLY a warranty issue because my trunk and windows were up all night during the rain. Chris in service falsely accused me of driving through puddles more than 6 inches of water and told me that they were not responsible for the car and they were not going to replace anything... So I had it towed to a local body shop to get a second opinion on what they thought of how water would have got in the trunk. They were running a hose over the car and found that a plastic piece clicked in to what should really be a third window on the side of the car on BOTH sides of the car did not have a plug to stop water from getting in when it rained. The body shop told us that it was CLEARlY a warranty issue so we brought it back to Mauer chevy and Chris in service had nothing to say when we found the problem. We asked for his supervisor when he kept denying us and he said that he was out that day because he had a "doctors appointment" so I had to come back the next morning at 7:30 because I had work at 8 to talk to Norm his supervisor and I showed him what was wrong with it and he realized that we were right and said that they would fix it no problem. I was concerned about the mold and water damage because once you get water in a car it is pretty much a done deal. Norm promised that when I got the car back they would replace everything and it would be as good as new. I asked for a loaner car because I need to get to class and work. Since I am not 25 yet I couldn't get a loaner car but my mom took the loaner and luckily she has a reliable Honda accord that I can drive till I get my car back. The car today is still at Mauer Chevy and still not fixed. Come Monday September 26th 2016 will be the SEVENTH WEEK of me not having my car but yet I am still paying for the car that is sitting in Mauer Chevy. I have yet to get a call to update me on my car I have had to call them several times and all they can tell me is that the parts are on back order... I find that funny because why would the parts be on back order for 7 weeks if it wasn't a bigger issue than just one car. I will never buy a chevy ever again and I suggest everyone does the same. I wish I could give this dealership and Chevy a 0 out of 0 stars. You would think that a big company like Chevy would stand by their cars and care about their customers. A General Motors customer service person called my mom about making up for this issue the best they offered was on-star and satellite radio for 12 months. . . she told him that I have yet to get the car back and told this whole story listed above to him and he said that he will call the dealership and give us a call back. We are still awaiting for his call. I am not a happy customer and not excited to get this car back if that ever even happens.

Overall good experience, oil change price is great. Didn't know they were going to wash my vehicle. Left wax stains on a lot of my plastic, never let them wash your vehicle unless you want new scratches

I have had an experience with the service department at both locations. And both locations were excellent!! The Anoka location helped me with a phone issue (and the problem was my phone) and the Inver Grove helped with an oil leak. I would recommend them!!!

And they let me use a vehicle while working on my truck. I had my truck to two different Chevy dealers both of which were not very nice and I won't go back. I can't say enough about Mauer Chev!!!!!! Very pleasant, I waited in the waiting room and it was very clean. My oil change went really good, they even told me what was a better choice for payment (my coupon, my points, etc.). After it was done, it actually was free because I still had my free oil change from purchasing my vehicle. Very nice and they even washed my vehicle, which I was not expecting it to be washed. :)

Bob, Larry, and Rich worked on my loan application and did numerous bank negotiations to get me into a car, once my first bank loan fell through. They all worked so hard to make sure I left with the Equinox I wanted!! I can not express how grateful I am for these men and how much they really helped me!! I have no problem paying a little extra for quality repairs, but I found other shops to do repairs for hundreds less than my quote. Not on your dealership, but Chevrolet needs to come out with recalls or better warranties. No reason a radiator should leak, or a oil pump go out at 70,000!!

I had a Trax and brought it to Merit for several years. Every time I brought it in for an issue that wasn't scheduled service, they treated me like I was crazy. They would look at me like I had no clue what I was talking about, and even once said, "We won't be able to replicate that, which means it isn't an issue, which means we can't fix it" without even trying to do anything. Yeah, I'm "just a girl" but I drive the thing daily so I know when things feel funny. When I got my Traverse, I started going to Mauer and I wish I'd made the transition sooner! I've only been twice, but my most recent trip was because something just felt "off". Eric listened to me, asked lots of questions, wrote down everything I said, and even offered to keep it overnight if they couldn't replicate the problem on the first day, just in case they could on day two. I just got a call from him with a very detailed outline of what they did and how they are planning on taking care of the problem (it was, in fact, a problem)! I will continue to bring my vehicle here for service! They even washed my car after my service (which Merit never did). Thanks, guys!

I was very upset and had no car the following day for work. When my husband went there the following day Eric was shouting at him and after 15 min he apologized. It was awful.

Joe, took the time to follow up on all the options of leasing compared to purchasing and check on the price of different models and options that where available for the Trax. Once we decided on the Trax he took the time to sit in the car and go through all the gadgets and programs that the new car had and meticulously showed us how they all worked. We also appreciated the follow up phone call the next day. This is the 2nd car we purchased from Mauer Chev and would not go anywhere else.

I have always had good experiences within the last year of leasing my vehicle. They are very willing to work with you and find you the information that's needed. Only downside is be aware of the fine print especially when leasing a vehicle. Ask all questions even if you feel it doesn't matter, in the future it might. Overall I would recommend Chevrolet to my friends and family.

Dale in service was 5 of 5 stars. Great communication. Looked up my warranty and git me taken care of. Some Jenny person that contacted me about possibly trading in my truck was a deal breaker. Rude and condescending would be my best description. I explained to her how i have purchased my last 4 vehicles (7 if you include my wife) her response was, well it's been 3 or 4 years since you've bought your truck and that's not how things are done anymore. Later she told me that if I live a long way it might be possible. Are you kidding? I can trade my truck in and have a new one brought to me by the end of the week if i choose. Although your service department was amazing, your "sales" team has put Mauer Chevrolet in the never category as far as purchasing from.

I write additional comments, about things I wanted to know about while they were inspecting the vehicle (tire thread) and I have no idea what the answers are because no one told me and it wasn't on my paperwork, nor do I have any idea what the inspection said because no one went over it with me or gave me copy. I asked for these things because I wanted to know what they were, I didn't just want to be told "everything is fine". I got my our other car serviced at mazda same day and same exact stuff I got done they did as well to that car, and when I picked up that vehicle they went through everything with me, and gave me a copy. It was great customer service.

My husband and I lease both our vehicles. Our Salesperson was Adam...he is absolutely AWESOME! When we come in for oil change or service, he takes the time to come over and say hello and even remembers our name. That says something to me, we weren't just a commission to him, he treated us like family!
