AWEFUL EXPERIENCE!! THEY OVERCHARGE FOR TICKETS AN DO NOT TELL YOU!! WHEN YOU GET ON THE PHONE TO POINT THIS OUT THEY SIDESTEP IT AND MAKE IT SOUND NORMAL . I AM SERIOUSLY LOOKING INTO BBB WITH THEM. SO MANY COMPLAINTS FROM EVERYONE AND NO ACTION. EVEN THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION HAS FINED THEM. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY IT IS A BAIT AND SWTICH ON THE INTERNET!! YOU THINK YOUR USING A REPUTIBLE COMPANY AND YOUR NOT.

I have made a rebooking for my flight through this...

I have made a rebooking for my flight through this agency and I haven t issued any tickets yet. When i called airlines, they say they re not responsible for the booking and lbf travel is the one made the change and have to contact them directly.
Tried to contact lbf travel and not getting any response from them.
Now i have lost my money and I don t have a flight ticket too.
What should i do now???

I can't tell you what a BAD experience I had with Smart Fares and LBF Travel.
They cancelled my airline reservations 2 hours after I made them! The airline charged my credit card and everything seemed fine until I went online 24 hours before the flight to print boarding passes and my reservations had been cancelled. I spent most of 12 hours on the phone with LBF. They would tell me that someone would look into it and call me back within an hour, or in 10 minutes, or within 2 hours...NO ONE did except the last supervisor I spoke with. His name was Holm and I put him on a 3-way call with the arilines and they told him that his company made the reservations and they would have to rectify it. Four hours later (10:00 p.m.) he called with new flight information. Most agents I spoke with were rude or talked over me. They were not interested in listening to what I had to say. Most times I was told they were not able to put me thru to a supervisor or the supervisor was on a 45 MINUTE break! I don't know how this company is still in business! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!

Scam company. You can find their numbers on BOBrtc and other scambaiting websites. Unprofessional behavior from their employees. However I would say that Actley is on of their rudest employees. If you happen to get connected to Raymond, ask if he likes monkeys.

I flew to Detroit from Sydney Australia last year 2016 with the wife and kids 5 airline tickets in total the price was unbelievable some say I might of been very lucky but 3 adults and 2 children under 10 year's old
total cost was $4,388 us dollars

I booked the tickets online last night i got the confirmation code PRE2KN and i call to double check everything is ok the LPF agent name is Anil and his supervisor Hank and the LPF gave me confirmation everything is ok and the money was out of my credit card as well but now they told me my reservation is cancel without any proper justification and i have made my arrangements in Toronto. Very very poor service and will not recommend this to anyone they are very rude and unprofessional and greedy.

Booked a airplane ticket reservation on SmartFares and has been troublefree, but you got to fill out the forms fast enough so the page doesn't time out. Also, be careful what you check as the price can shoot up instantly for add-ons. Looking forward to get more experience before revising my experience review.

They changed the dates of my flight that I had booked and paid for! stating that the price i paid they had to change the date. This is a huge problem when you are traveling across the country for a wedding and this company decides to have your return flight before the wedding ever happens....total scam, it is unvelivable that any airline would allow these crooks to book any flight for them

DO NOT USE THIS AGENCY!!!! THEY RIP PEOPLE OFF!!! My experience with this travel agency was absolutely horrible! Originally, I stupidly feel for the high price that they charged me for 6 tickets for me and my family. And then when we had a family emergency and needed to change one of our tickets for a different return date, their customer service was rude and lacked a lot of information. THEY TRIED TO RIP ME OFF IN SO MANY WAYS!!! They all told me that I would get a discount but kept telling me different numbers from $450-$650 within the same phone call! I had emails that their airline penalties were cheaper than they told me and they said I was lying, when I emailed them the email they sent me, they then had a supervisor look into it.Even the supervisor tried to charge me a different fare than the customer service representatives! I as furious and when I finally informed them of my rights, they quickly tried to "offer" me a better price. still in the $500 range. IT WAS RIDICULOUS AND THEY RIP PEOPLE OFF!!! I CHANGED MY FLIGHT WITH ANOTHER AGENCY WHO ONLY CHARGED ME $300 AND THIS WAS AFTER LBF'S PEOPLE TOLD ME THAT GETTING IT ANYWHERE ELSE WAS NOT POSSIBLE. THEY ARE LIARS AND THEY RIPE PEOPLE OFF!! DO NOT USE THIS AGENCY!!!

Horrible experience! I will definitely never-ever do "business" with this company.
Booked flight tickets, and actually got charged for them, the next day I get a phone call from them saying that the tickets went up and I can't get them for the price I paid. The money were supposed to be returned within 7 hours but it's been 2 days already, now they say 8-10 banking days. Wow! What they say is only sorry and I understand.
Please think twice or even more prior to dealing with them.

I reserved flights January 2014 with Travelation. Thought I was going through Spirit Air. But somehow got switched to Travelation. I received confirmation from Travelation that I had two seats confirmed and booked on SPIRIT AIR. Spirit Air immediately debited my credit card with the cost of the flights. I was told by Travelation that all I needed to do was go online 24 hrs prior to my flights to print boarding passes. The day before my flight I was told by Spirit Air that Travelation had cancelled my flights three days after I booked them. As we were traveling with our disabled daughter (she had booked directly through Spirit so her flight was OK). The only flights available where first class - costing us an incredible amount of money. BOTTOM LINE. MAKE SURE WHEN YOU ARE BOOKING FLIGHTS THAT YOUR ARE NOT CONVERTED TO TRAVELATION. THEY ARE A NIGHT MARE. when you call, TRAVELATION YOU GET SOMEONE IN INDIA. We are planning on suing them,

Their subsidiary - SmartFares, is a fraudulent website. They lure travellers into booking airline tickets using their website, and start increasing the ask once the traveller has made all other arrangements with respect to this booking. They also have an incompetant set of customer service reps. The same person pretended to be the call center agent, the boss, and the supervisor - being extremely rude.

Absolutely horrible! I got directed to them through Travelocity and they are impossible to deal with. I spoke with James and he kept putting me on hold and when I asked him what was going on he became super confrontational. I then told him I was done but he said he had already charged my card. When I said I wanted my money back he said it would be 24-48 hours. It s been 7 days and I have no refund. I will be contacting the BBB and I advise everyone to stay away from these scam artists.

I ve gotta say, having your phone ring, right after you tried to book a flight after a message pops up and tells you that the flight that you have selected is not available, in spite of having completed the form and press the purchase button , was the weirdest thing, I might have experienced.

That felt such like a shady tactic. Actually, it is shady. There is no valid explanation that could justify such practice as the booking representative was trying to explain the whys. Sorry no can do. You don t hook people with cheap fares, only to send them a message that the flight is not available, call them back with, of course, a higher price.

It is with a lot of hesitation and insecurity that I started my booking process with them, as I was in a state of emergency and had to book a flight asap. And comparing to all the other places, even with the new price higher then what was showing at first, they still had the lowest price. So I decided to give it a chance.

As I continued to engage with the representative, I have to be honest that he kind of made my worries disappear as he went step by step to make sure that I understood each step of their booking process, though I must admit is quite confusing.

The first email you receive (which you must click on the link to authorized) is not your booking confirmation but a confirmation that you have authorized them to book a flight for you (something like that, so weird).

Then, weirdly enough you received the same message but it s the confirmation. The only way for you to know that it s the confirmation is to look into the flight details where it will show the flight and ticket number on the right side of the table.. So so confusing.

After completing my booking with the representative who confirmed that everything was in order and that I had nothing to worry about, I still couldn t help myself and went to read the reviews about Cheap fares Now. Oh my God! what a mistake. After reading so many bad reviews and how people thought they had booked a flight but it wasn t booked or that they over charged their credit card, I called the airline to verify if indeed the flight was booked. Then I called my credit card to make sure that it was the right amount that was billed. Fortunately, everything was fine and in perfect order. We had a perfect round trip, without any glitch and I even made some change for one ticket without any problem, but still I had to make tight follow up.

Doing business with them is not for the faint of heart, so beware and make sure to validate, ask questions, and verify with the airline and your credit card. Ask the airline to send you your flight confirmation so, if there are any changes you will be advised, cause the travel agency may not follow through with the flight updates. They really need to streamline their booking process and make it easy, clear reassuring. I would not recommend doing business with them, even, if in my case, everything went well

This company outsourced its agents without following the laws to wit in informing in writing that LBF is originator of travel purchases which is misleading Agent caused missed flight and would not give refund. I am a Vetersn I advise you to stay away File reports for fraud to FBI and State Department You also have option to sue in Federal Court for all losses based on Internet Consumer Fraud.

The President Canceled European Flights so the company could not provide the service they charged for. Nevertheless they did not care and says its non refundable. Can you imagine the implications if the word non refundable? I will define for you. It means too bad too sad no customer service will be given. Shady, unethical and most probably fraudulent organization. There's no real benefit to booking with this company. Save yourself the hassle and book directly with the airline. Not only did they overcharge me for my booking, they cancelled my return flight home without contacting me.

Whatever you do, just run. Do not book any flights with this company. Their staff is filled with liars and they lack integrity. I booked my nonstop flight through this company in April 2019 and a day later I received a call from Traveler Help Desk stating that my flight was booked and I needed to book another flight. Surprisingly, the only other options were a flight with a 6 hour layover and a flight 2 days later non-stop. I expressed that I did not want a layover flight especially not 6 hours. Their agent lied stating that it was the only option available. After talking with their representative, I searched the website of the same airline and there was a straight flight available. NO SHOCKER HERE... THEY LIED. I booked my ticket with the airline directly, called them back and informed them of the actions of their rep and stated that they could only give me a $200 refund. Why would I want a $200 refund when I spent $1000 of my hard earned money on this ticket??? I have been battling with this company to receive a refund ever since. Do not book with these scammers. I will post this review about this company on every social media page that I own (Youtube, Facebook, Instagram, Snap Chat, Twitter, and my blog) and every review site that exists. This company is disgusting and they will never receive another penny of my money or that of any relative. DO NOT BOOK with CHEAPFARES NOW or Traveler Help Desk aka LBF Travel! Was looking for a fare comparison for a direct flight to Florida in the Spring. SmartFares came up with a list of dates and fares that matches my criteria. In comparing pricing from several other websites offering cheap flights, including my smartphone apps, SmartFares were slightly cheaper for the SAME flights and dates. Their prices were in US funds, but you can change to your local currency although you'll still be billed in US currency. When I booked without hesitation my transaction on the credit card was within a couple of dollars of what had been presented. Kudos. Paperwork and emails arrived with a day or two and their follow up was as expected. Thumbs up!

I would like to give a negative grade.
I bought a ticket in another air website, and then I found my credit card has been charged by their company. they said they bought me a ticket and send me the emails, however, I never received their email. The credit company won't send me back my money as they can show them the ticket number....
what can I say?
if you have buissness with them, just call the police or go to the court, good luck.

PS: what is funny is that when I call them, the representive would say, sorry you dial a wrong number and just hang up.

Don t ever use them, AKA Smartfare. An Indian company trying to bait and switch you. Literally every single 5 star review is fake. They will withhold your confirmation info until you go give them 5 star reviews. They will cancel your flight, refuse to refund your money unless you pay a $350 fee, and tell you the only flight left is double or triple the cost of the flight you initially booked. They lie to your face, hang up on you over and over and get really nasty and yell at you. Thank goodness for attorneys in the family but most people don t have they luxury do stay far away.

Scam- missed my cousin's wedding.

June 26th I ordered a round trip flight through this company (if you can call it that) to fly out to my cousin's wedding in August. I showed up to the airport the morning of my flight, after cashing in some hard-earned vacation days, to find out that this sham of a corporation never processed my payment or booked the flight I ordered.

When I called them up to demand how this could happen, they blamed it on me through some warped logic, and hung up on me. Replacement flights were out of my price range given the last-minute nature of my booking, and I ended up missing my cousin's wedding due to their negligence. I never received a call, email, or any other means of communication letting me know they had failed to do the job I had *** PAID THEM to do. I received a refund, but I'll never get to see my cousin and personal friend get married. I worked overtime for over 3 months to be able to afford this vacation, and LBF screwed me over on it.
Never.
EVER.
Book through this company- you'll regret it.

This is the worse company to deal with. DO NOT BUY A TICKET FROM THIS Travel Agency. You will be miserable. They added an extra letter 'C' to my friend's mom's name on the middle name field. She does not have a middle name. When we got the confirmation our names looked fine. However in the internal airline system there is an added letter C. We have gone back and forth for three weeks now. They are all in India, communication with these people is very frustrating. They have no intention to reissue the ticket without the added middle initial C. They are asking us to buy an entire new ticket because of this. I have called Turkish Airlines and Royal Air Maroc which have terrible representatives on the phone and they are not willing to help either. So, please do yourselves a favor and avoid this company. They represent themselves as Smartfares on line. We had also booked two other tickets last year and we just realized that it is this company that charged us more for those tickets and ripped us off.
