Used to love the food here, has changed owners and was very disappointed with our Sunday roast. Topside of beef 15 pound per head. 2 very small slices of beef pre_ sliced and potatoes were deep fried and not roast. Lots of veg, but not as good as had in past. Value for money not good. With reference to your reply it was not the 18th it was the Sunday before . The food was not as good as we have had. the meat, the pot, thankyou for your reply but I know the difference between roast and fried

Absolutely great place, lovely atmosphere, friendly locals and great bar staff. Have had the roast dinner and also tried the pie night. Excellent! Value for money and great tasting food. I am very fussy when I eat out so this is a thumbs up from me. Highly recommended.

Quiet country pub with a garden backing onto a paddock of horses. Good traditional pub food.

Just had a lovely meal. Service was delightful and the food was very good and well priced. Thank you for a delicious dinner!

A very decent lunch, but the menu is quite limited.

Only there for a short while while waiting for my preservation bus back to Alton, but never the less a pleasant experience. Pity about the for sale board outside. Hope this dosn,t mean a change of use. Fingers crossed.

Having rung ahead to let the pub know I was vegan, Denise was extremely helpful and accommodating and provided a lovely choice of special vegan options.

The atmosphere in the pub is good but the food wasn't very good the meat was beef was very very tough.

Sweet country pub. We had some portions of chips which wernt huge.

Only a couple of nights here but open mic night tonight is a breath of fresh air.
Will come back if ever in the vicinity deffo as local drinkers (which seem to go home early because of school night) and the pub in general is and should be a great place to be and I'm sure it is.

Cosy pub with open fires, a welcoming atmosphere and good food. Live music on some nights. Our large group was served quickly and efficiently. The staff were friendly and accommodating.

Was told to move the car by a red faced and found it very unwelcoming

Friendly staff and cosy atmosphere. Good food at a reasonable price with a seperate dining area and big garden. Kids and dogs welcome and often there is live music/open mic events

Pub needs some TLC. I would not eat here.

Very nice but wouldn't recommend the rocky road Sunday as Is just walls soft serve with some sauce and cream but all in all very nice
