My boyfriend and I had made an appointment a few days ago to see a specific car. On our way there we called and let them know we were about an hour away to being there (we live 3 hours away). After we arrived they informed us that someone was test driving the car we had made an appointment for. After being there for 30-45 minutes waiting to get started on the process they had sold the car to someone else. They lied and said they came in right before we did yet when we were pulling up to the dealership we were driving right behind the vehicle we were supposed to purchase. We drove 3 hours for them to sell a car to someone else that we made an appointment for. We already had the full amount in hand ready to be purchased. The salesman even informed us that we don t need to worry because the person trying to purchase it was wanting to finance and already owed money. Apparently it doesn t matter if you have the full amount ready in hand and confirmed you were ready to purchase. I guess this is how they treat those who serve in the military. It was obvious we were better candidates to purchase the vehicle. Absolutely ridiculous and poor service.

Terrible service!!!! My husband's car would shut d...

Terrible service!!!! My husband's car would shut down and not start for hours, this would leave him stranded. He took it in multiple times to have looked at and they were unable to figure it out so their advice was to wait until it does it again then bring it back in. My husband opened a case with corporate bc ne couldn't just keep waiting to be left stranded. Since then he has been taken care of but once he was my car stopped starting. We could not get my car started but a handful of times. I had to stop driving my car and borrow a family members car until mine went to the shop where I would be able to get a loaner since I paid the extra 2k during my closing for this service. I was told no loaner would be available for me. I told the representative that was not acceptable since I paid for the service... I'm confused because that 2k could have stayed in my pocket if I would only receive this as its available. I was told that a manager would call me back. I recieve a car from the same representative who then just repeats herself. I apologized to her bc I knew it wasn't her fault but ask her to please send me to someone who can help, she informed me that I would have to wait for a call. Three hours go by so I called back I was then sent to a scheduling manager who was one of the rudest people I have ever spoke with. She also told me I would get a phone call back and never did. I am now left with no phone call or car. Beware of false advertisement on their extended warranty and beware of terrible customer service.

He used KBB to give me a real value on my trade and it was better than other dealers had offered and the price if the Jeep I bought was unbeatable. I was having a vibration in my steering wheel and a slight pull a couple months back, so I brought my car in for an alignment. Since I have custom wheels, the service technician, Deon Banks, recommend I have the wheels balanced and rotated w my alignment. Jetta rides like a dream now w no wheel vibration. Thanks again.

My pops bought a 1995/1996 Dodge RAM Van 2500 from Lake Norman back in '96, continues to run like a charm with 65,000 Miles with no flaws and let's just say we had the best customer satisfaction and it's good to hear from this dealer over time. We still prefer this dealer than any other in the Carolinas. I plan on getting my 2500 Power Wagon later on.

I just purchased a 2013 Dodge Journey over the weekend. I was more than please with the service of my salesman, Willie Brown, from start to finish. He did not have the " car salesman" pushy personality. He was very pleasant and accommodated me and my family while we were there. The whole process took a little more than 2 1/2 hours! I would recommend anyone to LN Chrysler, but specifically to buy from Willie Brown. Thanks for all of your help!

Walked into the dealership and specifically asked for Tony. Although we had never met him or him us, the reviews on this website led us to work with him. Tony took the time to listen and understand what we wanted, and we were specific, and what we were trying to do money wise. He walked the entire lot with us in search of the car that we wanted, not a car that he wanted us to buy. Tony is very friendly and can put the buyer at ease during what can be a stress filled process. I recommend Tony Williams for any new or used car purchase.
Brian in the finance office was great. Our deal was not the easiest to put together but Brian was able to work the deal to the benefit of the dealership and more imortantly to the benefit of us. The 'extras' provided by Lake Norman Dodge are second to none in the region. From start to finish the entire process took less that 3 hours. I am impressed with Tony and Brian and all the people that we met that were not even involved in the sale. An A+ experience. Thank you guys!

Update on this - second engine failure since 2014 ...

Update on this - second engine failure since 2014 and Chrysler is telling me I have no warranty after only 54K miles on a new diesel engine. Long story short, ecodiesel's have an engine failure problem so buyer beware. I don't blame the dealer as much as I blame Chrysler.

I purchased a truck from there in 2014 and didn't have the greatest service experience the first time or two. Nothing too bad, but certainly not a 5 star experience. The last few times I've had to bring the truck in for service Terry N. has been by service advisor and he is outstanding. He deserves a 5 in every way. He's efficient, does what he says he'll do, is honest about how long something will take and is great about following up with you. I had to get a part in and instead of me having to call and get the status he followed up with me and had a car ready for me when I got there. He is proactive and I appreciate it. Would recommend to anyone.

I bought my car in December. I love my Jeep Cherokee and I am so happy I purchased this vehicle. However, I am not happy about the fact that I paid my state tag and registration fee to the dealership and found out that my tag had a temporary sticker on it. I had to find out by being pulled over that my tags were expired. I was given a 30day paper tag and then a 30day temporary sticker for my plates? I have never received any information from this dealership regarding my tags or registration being temporary other than the paper tag. However, I have also not received any information from this dealership since I purchased the vehicle. If they fix this issue I will be more than happy to change my review.

No high pressure, just straightforward information and very friendly service. I've bought twice from them and would return again when I need a new or used vehicle. My salesman, Willie Brown, again provided us with top notch service (he sold us the Jeep 4 years ago). When moving stuff over to the new Charger we found his business cards in the Jeep's glove box, we had a good laugh.

The salesman was very knowledgeable about the Jeep I purchased and did everything to make my experience better..But the deal that was trying to be made and the finance guy that s an entirely different story after the man I made the deal with the finance guy tried to do entirely different numbers and everything about this purchase left a bad taste in my mouth yes I left with a Jeep but was not happy with the way I was treated and will probably never do business there again or tell my friends

I had gotten my oil changed at a Valvoline down th...

I had gotten my oil changed at a Valvoline down the road from the dealership, and was told I had a rear main seal leak. I made an appt and took it to LKN CDJR to have that and any potential concerns resulting from my truck surpassing 150k miles handled. I dropped off my truck about 8AM, explained everything to one of the Customer Service folks (Name might have been Chuck, based on the automated text I received), including the fact I was using a fleet card, and my companys fleet administrator contact info, and left.

I assumed I would be called with updates and for approval on any maintenance they thought was critical. I was not. I responded to the automated message around midday asking for an update on the repair on the rear main seal leak. No response. I got a call around 4PM that same afternoon saying that my truck was done and I could come pick it up.

Upon arriving at the dealership, I met with the same CS rep I had dealt with that morning, and was told the charges added up to a total of $2200. The rear main seal was not the issue, but the oil pan, and it had been replaced. I had not been called, notified, or asked if I wanted to still have it taken care of before it was replaced. Along with that, seemingly every single optional 150k mile service had been performed (serpentine belt, coolant system flush, hemi plug replacement, fuel system service). Also, there was a note saying I was advised of a $150 diagnostic fee in the work order for the oil pan, which I was not.

I don't know if they had reached out to our fleet administrator to approve everything before performing the work or not, but I was not contacted at all before the work was done.

I know the service work is quality and I do appreciate it, but I do think the dealership needs to be more proactive of advising customers of potential costs and keeping them in the loop if the job changes, and obtaining approval, especially when the total costs add up to several thousand dollars.

We were initially disappointed that the Pacifica at which we came to see did not have leather as listed on the website. It was an honest mistake. The salesperson, Willie Brown did work with us on our trade value and the sale price to get us into a Pacifica with leather for slightly more. The buying process went as quickly as one could expect and everyone was professional and did a good job getting us through the entire process. The salesperson went to great lengths to show us the features and accessories of our new vehicle. The dealership is clean and well organized. I would recommend Lake Norman to anyone looking for a new or used vehicle.

We got to numbers that worked for us quickly and the whole purchasing and test driving process was complete with trade in under 3 hours. He was great with my kids and keeping them entertained/fed and overall, it was the best car experience I have ever had! I couldn't recommend Devin or LNCDJR more!

I'm glad several people had a better experience than I did buying my BMW M sport at Lake Norman Dodge.I paid cash with my hard earned money. The car had a few issues that was promised to be fixed but it ended up being damaged more. They replaced my tires but scratched and nicked every wheel in the process...the beautiful M sport wheels had never been un-mounted before (this was the first tire change) and they was like new, as I took pics before I dropped it off...(why was you not more careful with such nice wheels??) Also...the tech put one of the new tires on backwards (WHY?) and I had to have it remounted the next day ( glad I checked it)! They also had a PDR (dent guy) remove some dents...well that turned out bad too (most was pushed up to high and caused high spots)! I am now taking my car to a well known professional PDR dent guy I've used in the past to fix the mess! Also, now I will have to have my wheels refinished. If I ever buy a used car again and it has any issues...I will be the one deciding who is going to touch and repair it...lesson learned but I will never go back to this dealership.

In fact, she supported the car I was really interested in. After sharing my credit challenges, Tony got me the best deal and actually saved me money. WoW! What a great experience!

This was by far the greatest car buying experience we have ever had! Everyone there had a ready hello and smile in greeting! Mark showed us the perfect car and directed the LN team have it ready to go out the door in an unbelievable short time frame. This is surely not the closest dealer to us - but will be considered that from now on. Mark answered all our questions, provided a splendid test drive and helped with our trade (not the greatest). JJ is the master of paper work and financial questions. It is amazing how fast and efficient this process can be with someone who knows how to do it right! Thanks to the LN team for getting our new Chrysler ready in record time so we didn't have to make an extra long return trip. But ...we'll be back, for sure. Mark surely made an apprehensive expectation at best into the best experience possible. Thank you all!

From the moment I walked into dealership, the customer service was amazing. Dean Corbitt, the salesman I worked with, was never pushy. He was patient and honest with each step of the process. He asked what I wanted, rather than telling me what they could offer.

Even the owner sent me his personal email, asking for feedback on making my car buying experience better.

I want to thank Dean, Qwame, Ervin, the receptionist, Mr, Salzman, and everyone at the dealership who made my car buying experience absolutely amazing! I bought a 2017 Jeep Cherokee Latitude!!

I live in Mint Hill, and drove all the way to Lake Norman CDJR, for the best deal ever. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a dealership that is a cut above the rest.

I bought a 2018 Ram new 3500 HD diesel . Less than a year ago took it in for service for one week in May to take care of recalls. The rear brakes have been squeaking since I bought the truck. Ask them to check them to check rear end it was vibrating when turning. Which I explained it was clutches that were not slipping when turning rear end was locking up. Spoke with Michelle 4 days later. She stated that recalls were fixed an needed to service 4 wheel drive but not a sure fix for vibration . They wanted 400.00 to change fluids which I declined. She also stated the brakes were good nothing they could do about the squeaking. When I went to pick truck up she charged me 80.00 instead of 140.00 said was giving me a discount. To tell me something I already new. The vehicle is still under factory warranty plus I bought a 4000.00 extended warranty from this stealership. I feel like I should not have been charged they drove my truck only 7 mile
also l told them I had a noise in the transmission when shifting into drive. That problem along with the rear end only occur when truck is hot.Driving the truck 7 miles is not going to be able to duplicate the problems. I feel Michelle Turk was very unprofessional. She spoke to me like I had no knowledge about trucks . She made the comment she had her best diesel mechanic working on it. Which the truck was not there for engine problems. The recall was for the steering linkage coming loose they welded the jam nut to the sleeve which now the truck is out of alignment this is the 3rd set of front tires because you can not align the truck now. I would not recommend this stealership for sales or service. Sales is another story. I called Chrysler they stated this is a bandaid an do not know when the proper repair will be out.

I would first like to say that I did not purchase a vehicle. However, it had nothing to do with the service I received from Willie Brown in the Internet Department. I was looking at a '14 Dodge Challenger. I live in SC, and I have been looking for a new car at more dealerships and online than I can count. Willie was, by far, the best Salesman I have dealt with in a very long time. Willie and I handled everything via email. I sent him my trade information, along with my payoff, and he was able to give me an honest assessment of my situation. Willie was up-front with me regarding my situation with negative equity and the down payment needed. Because of my situation, Willie took the time to present me with a couple options, even the possibility of a new Ram Truck (much more incentives/discounts). Willie worked with me via email for over a week trying to put something together. After a lot of consideration, and several emails, we decided to wait another few months and try to put something together at that time. It was very refreshing to deal with someone that actually listened to my situation, and took the time to try to find the best possible outcome for me. Whenever you are in the market for a vehicle, I highly recommend that you give Willie Brown a call.

The paper comparison looked favorable to the Ram so we called and spoke with Jamie who works in commercial sales. He promptly brought over a van that fit our specifications ...to our office/shop. We had a test drive and decided on a slightly different version which he promptly found for us. All the paperwork was completed and brought to the office for convenience. Mike Burner and the folks at Lake Norman CJDR are a class act. We visited the dealership on a Saturday afternoon looking at Ram 2500 trucks. We looked at several trucks and began negotiations. After about an hour we reached an impasse and left thinking we would not be purchasing anything. However, the folks at the dealership sharpened their pencils and by Wednesday we had a new Ram 2500. These folks obviously want to sell vehicles and will work with you anyway they can. Thanks Mike and team for your help and we love our new Ram.

THEY DO NOT NEGOTIATE!!! Worse sales department ever... Never negotiated price nor did they even ask any questions to see if any manufacturers incentives would apply. I even had to email the President of the company to get anyone to contact me back to negotiate, but that didn't even help. I wouldn't have even given them 1 star but you can't leave 0 star.

UPDATE... President of company emails me stating I don't know how limited the SRT model is and that the incentive I found on the Jeep website does not apply to the SRT... I sent a screenshot with the SRT listed on the incentive and circled...

Just purchased my 5th auto from LKN Jeep and the salesman yesterday Jamie Walling was great. Now I want to say that I have used many different salesmen at this establishment but they tend not to try to get you the best deal so I have no loyalty to a salesman, I have a loyalty to my wallet! They know me and my family when we walk in and they get a bit surprised when I don't use them, they know I am a loyal customer so if you give me the best deal I will use you again, if not I will give someone else a shot and yesterday it was Jamie who processed an easy deal very quickly...thanks again Jamie. As for the finance department I want to thank Chris Motrynczuk for a quick easy process also. I was expecting the usual grueling 6 hour day at the dealer but these two gentlemen got the sale done and we were out the door in less than 3 hours. I am sure I will be back again in the next 12 months so we'll see who can give me the best deal!

Came in to look at a jeep and make a trade if the deal was right, and it was. Chris and Eric were awesome. Eric walked me through all the details of the jeep and and listened to everything I had to say. Even got side tracked just having a normal conversation. Chris laid out the deal and how everything works and gave me some honest advise, which isn't something you find at most dealerships. He actually kept more money in my pocket, and got me steal on a Jeep. Highly highly recommend.

5 months after purchasing a vehicle here I took it to a shop to get my oil changed. After about 2 min the mechanic told me there was damage to the oil pan and he recommended I take the car to the dealer as it s under warranty. No one had done any work to the vehicle since I bought it. Booked a service appointment here and after 5.5 hours of waiting, a $145 assessment fee , and demeaning customer service, (no one appreciates being hustled or talked down to) I left with no repairs. The dealer would not take responsibility to damage that they obviously had done to the vehicle prior to my purchase. While I don t believe the damage was done intentionally, being quoted $900 for an oil pan replacement they re responsible for when the vehicle is under warranty is out of the question. I left there with a bad wash job and robbed of $145. I will not be returning for any future vehicle purchases or services.

Everybody i delt with at the dealership was exceptionaly friendly. They actualy wanted to work with you and make a deal rather than just push you a vehicle. They took time to understand what i was looking for and what i could afford and get me the most vehicle for my money. When we did reach a deal, they were quick to get the paperwork done and get me on my way. The pther staff i was not directly dealing with would take time to say hi and ask if you needed anything. Everyone at the Lake Norman Chrysler Dodge Jeep was good to us! Our person was Devin Considine he was awesome took very well care of us! Checked on us every minute he got. And made sure I walked out the door happy! I couldn't be any happier with my 2017 Brand new Jeep Wrangler! I'm beyond excited. We loved their customer service. Dad bought a new jeep cherokee from them to flat tow behind a motorhome. The vehicle is approved to flat tow but began shaking violently and caused major damage to the car and chrysler nor lake norman chrysler dodge jeep will honor the warranty. This problem has happened to a lot of these vehicles and chrysler has issued a service bulletin for the steering system to prevent this so they know the problem is there.

Jay Tarlowe, the "Customer Loyalty Manager", along with the finance ppl worked together to make my experience as bad as it could possibly be. I visited the dealership as I wanted to buy a new Jeep Wrangler. Jay took me directly to one of the many jeeps on the lot and that is the only Wrangler he tried to sell me. They jerked me around for hours. They straight up lied to me while I was at another dealership, just to get me to come back which took me an hour to drive and then I had to wait for 30 mins. Jay had told me on the phone that he could drop the price $500 as I asked and that he would match the financing rate of the other dealership. When Jay finally got time for me, he presented to me a higher sales price than he did in my previous visit and informed me that he wouldn't be able to match the rate. He had also assured me that we would be able to get the deal done so that I could drive the jeep home that night, but once we were face to face he said that financing wouldn't be able to get it done even tho a guy from behind the financing desk came over and was telling me "how good of a deal it was". As I calmed myself and softly explained that he had completely lied to me and wasted 2 hours of my time, they both had a big smile on their face and Jay even started laughing. I bought from Keffer and had a great experience. Heather at Keffer genuinely cared and helped me with everything I asked and more.

We stopped by today to check out a price, and found most of the salespeople walking around the showroom with no masks. They did have a sign up, and a box of masks for customers, but many of their own employees did not follow this. My complaint is that right now masks are mandated to protect the more vulnerable among us, and a local business should comply, whether they personally agree or not. It shows they are willing to pull together and be part of the greater community, even if it s inconvenient. We were disappointed, as we have bought cars and had service done there before, and have always been satisfied.

Mark Mosayebi is the best salesman I have ever worked with. Straight talk with no pressure and no games. Mark listened to what I needed , found the perfect vehicle and got the deal I ask for. For the first time ever I actually enjoyed shopping for a vehicle. Thank you Mark. The dealership is lucky to have you and I will be back to see you for my next Jeep!

I must also mention that management was so friendly laid back. The service department team members all work together and are on top of things. Standing in the middle of them as they worked so seemlessly on so many things was very impressive.

Needed to get my car looked at and was informed to just leave the key at the drop off box so they could take a look at it after the weekend passed. What I wasn t told was that there would be a diagnostics fee of $145. I could ve gone to somewhere else and gotten it done for free and they would ve let me know it was the alternator and battery just as easily.
