We buy all our commercial vehicles from Karl Tyler. On our last purchase we got a call AFTER we had agreed to the purchase price letting us know they found additional rebates and were knocking more $ off. Couldn't believe we drove that vehicle away for the price we did. Joe Ferkovich is great to deal with on the sales front and we continue to get wonderful service after the purchase.

He then spend the time to make sure we understood how to use the incredible array of electronic devices and mechanical features packed into a GMC Denali. Oh did I mention we got a GOOD deal!

We are more than happy to give a great review to Steve Edgar of Karl Tyler Chevrolet. We contacted Steve via e-mail which led to phone conversations back and forth as we live in another town. He was very quick to to get back to us whenever we had a question or concern, and when we decided to make the trip to possibly purchase the car it was exactly as he had presented it. A few adjustments had to be made before we took it home and Steve was right on it and made sure we did not leave the dealership until everything was exactly as it should be. We would definately return to Karl Tyler Chevrolet and feel confident in dealing with Steve.

The best vehicle buying experience I've ever had, and the best vehicle. Christy and Matt were so great to work with, straightforward, upfront, and friendly. It's the first time I've felt like any dealership was actually trying to help me get the vehicle I was looking for at the best price, rather than just trying to push and rush me into a decision. The warranties are exceptional, and the process from start to finish took under an hour, let me say that again for the people in the back, UNDER AN HOUR and we were out the door driving home in our new pickup. I will not buy a vehicle anywhere else again. Thank you Karl Tyler Chevrolet!

Their service dept. didn't have to help me--I don't own one of their vehicles, and didn't need repairs--but Service Writer Todd did go to some trouble to advise me on a technical question about Cadillac, which was very helpful and much appreciated.

However, our salesman, John Baldwin, took the time to address my concerns and worked hard to find exactly the car we were looking for. We are very happy with our purchase so far. I would not hesitate to reach out to John again if we were ever in the market for another vehicle.

I've purchased multiple vehicles from here, most recently with my son buying his first "new to him" car today. The excellent sales and service departments keep me coming back. The sales folks shoot straight and work to win sales with trust, not tricks. The service department has gone to bat for me to get a expensive transmission repair covered by GM when my truck was 5,000 miles out of warranty. The new "warranty forever" is also exclusive to them and makes buying a used vehicle more reassuring.

Fired me a year and a half ago for taking a Friday off after working 70 hours Monday through Thursday. Today I had an appointment to have my tires mounted and balanced and didn't receive a phone call letting me know their tire guy called in sick and the work wouldn't be done today. I emailed regarding a 2011 Chevy Equinox that we were interested in, Christy in the internet sales department emailed me that the equinox had been sold but gave me a lead on a 2014. Made an appointment to look at the vehicle. Salesman Scott Lake was wonderful and very knowledge. Bottom line we bought the 2014 Chevy Equinox which included a lifetime power train warranty !!
Best of all they considered what my budget for a new vehicle and helped us achieve that goal !!!

Everyone in the service department is courteous and professional and makes us feel welcome. Since we live 70 miles from town and always have appointments and shopping while we're there, we really appreciate being offered a loaner when we have service work done. Some days the shuttle works for us, as well.

I'm not too happy. My wife drove clear to Missoula from Butte to get a new windshield installed in her 2018 Suburban we purchased from Karl Tyler, and have her car serviced too while she was there. Matt is service had arranged a loaner car so my wife didn't have to sit around the dealership for a few hours while her car was being worked on. It was nice of Matt to arrange the car for her. She dropped off her car, expecting the windshield replaced and car serviced. 30 minutes later she got a call saying her car was serviced but they no longer had a windshield for her car. So basically she drove 4 hours for an oil change. NOT REAL HAPPY. I understand things go wrong, I get that. They didn't even offer to comp the service, which we could have had done in Butte in 15 minutes. The windshield should have been set aside for my wife's car and wasn't. I do like the salesmen and service people at Karl Tyler, but not super happy right now.

We purchased a 2015 Ford F150 from this dealership...

We purchased a 2015 Ford F150 from this dealership a couple of weeks ago. The actual purchase of the vehicle went super smooth and they were super great and helpful with the whole process! So in sales they are super strong. Unfortunately we had an issue with the truck about a week after purchasing; they were great and tool the truck to get repaired and gave us the keys to a loaner. It took quite a while to get it fixed but that can be excused since its a ford at a Chevy dealer. They also delivered the truck to us in Bozeman when it was complete. However the truck was pretty dirty inside, there was parts left over still left in the cab, the truck was delivered on empty, and lastly they forgot to reconnect the windshield wiper system back up. However they still got the truck back to us, and have told us they will pay to have it finished by a dealer here. So overall the experience has been pretty great, I imagine you can expect more if you purchase a Chevy. Courtney from service is super great and helpful! Terry was a great salesman!

Unsatisfied of how grease points were left with mass amounts of leftover grease and not attempted to be wiped up or cleaned. One grease point would not take any grease but no recommendations were given to fix the issue.

We are in TX for work right now and my husband decided at 9 o'clock this morning to buy a new truck. He made one phone call and just a few hours later the deal was done. Got a great price on the truck, great value for our trade and our sales rep, Bill Miller, made the whole process a piece of cake. Customer service at Karl Tyler is excellent in both sales and service departments. John Baldwin was a fantastic sales rep who went above and beyond what most sales reps would do to make my experience wonderful. I will first start off with saying "WOW". Steve Edgar at Karl Tyler Chevrolet was a breath of beautiful fresh air. After leaving a different dealership in town I was left feeling like what I wanted for the price I wanted was unobtainable. Boy was I wrong.

I went in to Karl Tyler having my heart set on a newer Subaru Outback. Unbeknownst to me, that is not what I would end up leaving with.

When I contacted Steve he assured me that he would find something that I would fall in love with. He contacted other dealers, made many calls, had a Subaru brought from Butte, and even offered to find a Subaru for me in auction if nothing else. In the mean time of him hunting high and low for a an Outback, he suggested I try a Chevy Trax and Chevy Equinox. Hesitantly, I agreed to at least look at them.

Not loving the Trax due to size, he escorted me to the Equinoxes. The first look and I was hooked! I test drove the Equinox LTZ AND it was the size and capacity of what I wanted, but felt more like a luxury vehicle than the Outback. Some may say that they are very different, but I could absolutely see why Steve wanted me to try it out and I am so thankful I did.

After choosing the exact one I wanted Steve so graciously showed me every bell and whistle the car had to offer. He even got me hooked up with OnStar and XM, which probably would have taken me days to figure out.

All in all I am so very pleased with my experience. I left with an outstanding car, an awesome warranty, and a huge appreciation for a great car salesman.

I have not purchased a Chevy car from this dealer ...

I have not purchased a Chevy car from this dealer in the past, so I won't comment on that. I have received a few services from this dealer (they were all good, one time they even squeezed me in because I need the car to be ready for a long trip the next day), I had no problem until today, I found out that they would not honor an offer from Chevy. I received an offer from Chevy via email (oil change offer), and on Chevy's official website, you can see the same information--$49.95 or less for 6-quart ACDelco dexos1 FULL Synthetic or Mobile 1. I called the dealership to set up an appointment thinking, of course Chevy dealer would honor an offer sent from Chevy, right? I mean, where else do you go to redeem a Chevy offer? Chevy corporate company? Turned out I was wrong, the lady who schedules service appointments consulted with the service manager, and came back to me stating they are certified Chevy service center, but they do not honor offer from Chevy. I will need to pay their price which is $59.95 for 6-quart of ACDelco Dexos1 synthetice BLEND or CONVENTIONAL oil. I asked her that you are telling me you are a Chevy dealer, but refuse to accept an offer sent to me by Chevy, and ask me to pay $10 more and not even give me FULL synthetic oil? She insisted on the they only use synthetic oil at the dealership, when I told her that I'm looking at your website, your website clearly state "synthetic blend or conventional oil" under your service special offer, synthetic blend is not FULL synthetic, again, she said all she heard about was they use synthetic oil for every car. I don't blame her for not knowing the difference between FULL synthetic oil and synthetic blend, she is not a mechanic, but just because they both have the word "synthetic", it doesn't mean they are the same thing. Charging more but giving less, plus do not honor an offer from the corporate company, no kudos to you.

Update: I went back to the dealership after noticing the oil change sticker shows 15w-40 oil on my camaro that's supposed to have 5w-30, the service representative pulled out the receipt and we both checked the oil part number online, it's 5w-30 FULL synthetic oil. The "owner" who replied to my review states that they are using Full synthetic oil, I can confirm that it is true according to the part number on receipt. But, the website still says synthetic blend or conventional after the "owner" said he would fix it, that was 3 months ago.

The entire team at Karl Tyler Chevrolet was phenomenal. I was initially exposed to the competence of this dealership nearly fifteen years ago by fellow rodeo competitors. So when I was in the market for a 2015 Silverado 3500HD I decided to travel over six hours to Karl Tyler Chevrolet and see if the dedication to customer service and the working man continues. I have never had a complete car sales, service, parts, etc. experience like this before. Sales representative Brennan Skrutvold was courteous, professional and his breadth of product knowledge was without question. I have visited a number of dealerships over the years and challenge all others to meet the level of customer service and positive ownership experience demonstrated by the Karl Tyler team every day.

I was very concerned when I found out the damages ...

I was very concerned when I found out the damages to my beautiful Chevy pickup would require a new frame and other repairs. I worried that it would never drive the same or that the value would be reduced. Rich Sublette assured me that they would repair my truck like new. In his words, 'we will repair your truck as if I were going to buy it for my daughter'. I felt such relief and knew things would be ok.
Rich kept me informed as to the progress of the repairs and even had it finished early. It was spotlessly clean and repaired like new, just as promised.

I very much appreciate the work done at KT Chevrolet. My only suggestion is some employee should be available to greet and direct each customer as they arrive for service. As it is, if one of the service managers is not available, you don't know where to go or who to see and can wind up standing around for fairly long periods of time.

Went to the dealership a few times over the past y...

Went to the dealership a few times over the past year..reason being something was not keeping my battery full...they made me believe my door pins were shot....my passenger cosmetic sun visor button was broke they charged me almost 300$ and the problem still persisted....dealt with the problem by installing a kill switch on negative terminal...but battery would still after awhile lose charge and leave me dead...so once again I go there and they convince me my battery is shot and that a spacer is corroded with rusty like substance...so new battery only because I was told it was dead...so I figured I would take my battery back and get my money...ran good for a few weeks..then dead again..called Terry or Jerry main guy at missoula service and he said if I need a jump call him...I got it jumped myself and immediately Went to dealership..granted it was busy and they got me in...said my negative cable was loose...I left the shop later that evening I look at battery and they didn't even fix loose cable..I did it at work later that evening...problem still persist Easter morning I'm dead....630am trying to go to work..I got a jump went to walmart and got jump pack..100$....not happy and today I go to a very good electrical shop and there is no drain..but they did cut the plastic off the post and install new battery post good ones...you should have seen the corrosion that was built up under the plastic....problem solved...the draw went down dradtically...I can't believe these overpaid service techs didn't even address this issue after three visits...horrible service in my opinion...I feel I got ripped off for all the money I spent there trying to solve this problem...this other shop addressed the problem in thirty minutes....thankyou Chris for fixing my Cadillac...

We just purchased our 9th or 10th vehicle (counting the kid's vehicles) from Karl Tyler and I will keep going back. Ricky Stanton was my salesperson and I contacted him several months ago, telling him exactly what I wanted and asked him to keep me in mind as inventory came through. He did just that and was very patient, waiting for the perfect vehicle, never trying to sell me on anything less or different than what I wanted. When he found it, we both knew it, and the process was very smooth and painless. He is knowledgable on discounts available, the vehicle's amenities, and provides astute advice on extras (like the Simonize glass coat) without any pressure. Coley, in finance, is also very helpful and adept. I know from past experience, that the Maintenance crew is professional and savvy as well, and I have ny first maintenance visit scheduled with them. I could not be more pleased with my newest purchase!

I want to thank Terry Amble at Karl Tyler Chevrolet for being such a great sales person. Terry helped me with the purchase of my third pickup purchase from Karl Tyler dating back to 2008. I called ahead and let him know the specs of what I was looking for. When I arrived he had gone through their inventory and had it narrowed down to just what I was looking for. And just like that, I was the the owner of a new truck by the end of the day. Terry reached out to all possible rebates and accessory options helping make my decisions much easier and helped me feel like I was making a good decision about. And I am much reassured that he is there to help me with anything I may need help with in the future.

Went there to help someone purchase a Trail Boss. Matthew Potter came out and immediately started elaborating on all the features that the Trail Boss had. He NEVER pressured us into anything and in fact attempted to show us a few other vehicles, but we were already hooked on the first one we looked at! I definitely will be coming there to customize a Cadillac that I personally want! If you want a knowledgeable, friendly sales representative-- Matthew Potter, hands down!

My wife and I just bought our third brand new vehicle from Karl Tyler. We have had nothing but the absolute best experience every single time. John B. (sales rep) always treats us with the best customer service, answers questions even when he is not working that day, and makes the "negotiating" that normally goes hand in hand with buying a new car...non existent. Why negotiate when you know that the rep is already negotiating on your behalf. We trust John, thus why we keep coming back. I have had my 2015 Silverado in for service a few times due to an annoying defect in the exhaust and even when I was nagging Mark S. non stop to get it fixed, he still was nothing but kind and courteous. As long as Karl Tyler is around, we will continue to make their dealership our first stop. Thanks! Jared & Emily C.

Update - We just bought car #4 [2016 Impala LTZ] from Karl Tyler (John B.). Again, nothing but the best from John. He continues to be my go-to guy when it comes to vehicles. I would also like to compliment the gentleman in the finance department. I can't remember his name at the moment, but he takes my kids noise in stride and is always SUPER pleasant. So, again, fantastic crew at Karl Tyler. I think John B. is super!

We were in Missoula from out of town (Michigan) to pick up our new RV when we came to the realization that our beloved Jeep Wrangler wasn t the right vehicle for our new camper. Richard Harris was so accommodating. He was patient; he did such a great job. We can t recommend Karl Tyler and Richard enough. Thanks everyone!!! Seamless and easy.

We have never purchase any vehicle from Karl Tyler in MIssoula but after getting what we wanted, at a great price with no stress professionalism and service we will not buy a truck anywhere else. Brennan Skrutvold went above and beyond to find us our truck with all the features, engine and colors we wanted for our ranching, trailering and hunting adventures. The entire Karl Tyler team made it a pleasure in lightening up our wallet with a great product at a great value. NO more trips to Kellogg, Id for us!!! Karl Tyler has been very positive for me. I've delt with them since they were T&W on Broadway. I've always been a Chevy man and Karl Tyler has treated me very well. I've always dealt with Mike Jenkins. Now that he's moved up the ladder, I now deal with his son Reed. My first experience with him was very pleasant. I plan on continuing to deal with them until I run out of the need for vehicles. The Tyler group are very down to earth people and make you feel at home whenever you go in.

We broke down in Missoula and got our car repaired here. The staff was great! They gave us recommendations for hotels in the area, let our kids have some rides on the little pony in the waiting area, and were just super helpful in a stressful time. They also let us know frequently the status of our vehicle, since they knew we were trying to get on our way.

I paid $5,000 for an engine replacement. I went in...

I paid $5,000 for an engine replacement. I went in to pick up the vehicle thinking it was road worthy and safe at this point. while driving it home I realize it's almost empty and so I stop to get gas. As I hop out I look and see the rear tire is almost completely flat. After filling up I get in to drive it to an air hose to fill the tire but to my surprise the vehicle won't start. The battery was completely dead. Carl Tyler charges more and I expected quality not leaving their lot with a leaky tire and a dead battery.

I take it back in the next day to have the battery problem taken care of. After waiting 2 hours for them to do a simple battery swap I come out to pay the bill. They try to charge me $30.00 in labor to put the battery in along with a very expensive $130.00 battery. I've already paid $5,000 for an engine and they fought me on trying to get them to take off the $30.00 in labor.

Horrible overall experience and will never recommend or go the their repair shop again.

I had recently bought a used car from Karl Tyler C...

I had recently bought a used car from Karl Tyler Chev and I was concerned about the way it drove so I had KTC check the alignment. The result was that I wasn't familiar with the and wide tires that made the car drive differently than I was used to. This is a Camero. The car checked out OK and there was no charge. Great service and friendly service people.
