Executives Available / Cadres Disponible (EA/CD) Review

After separating from my last job I was asked to join Executives Available. My experience with the Counselors and the different Instructors was of the most Rewarding! The Counselors were very experienced and knew so many Executives, CEOs, and Key Persons at different Institutions and Corporations.....After listening to the needs of the different job seekers, the Counselors were immediately able to point them in the right direction and to provide them with names of Key-Contacts to get in touch with to secure landing an Interview.....
Everyone at Executives Available was very supportative. and helped us to keep a positive attitude and to never give up even when some doors were to close!
The courses on how to build a Resume, and how to Tweek it, to pass the Resume-Scan-Software that most HR Departments unfortunately use, was one of the most important lesson for me! (No matter how experienced and highly educated you are, your Resume could end-up in the garbage bin if you do not re-write it using the exact wordings that are being used in the job description....
My Counselor taught me that to be invited to an Interview is a Privilege! By always remembering this while researching and preparing for an Interview, you will remember to stay Humble, and to answer all questions with humility and determination that you are the Best Candidate that the company is looking for....
The Networking Sessions were very rewarding. Every member of the group knew somebody in some similar Industry that you were interested in, and they were very quick to provide you with names of Key-Contacts you should be getting in touch with.....
At Executives Available I felt that I was with a bunch of friends whom were keen on seeing you succeed, and whom did not hesitate to provide you with any information that could help you get closer to landing your Dream Career....!

I highly recommend EA-CD because on top of getting back into the workforce; it is about getting a job (with the help of the counsellor) that is mutually advantageous and a good fit for the incumbent employee and the hiring company. I must say that the experience of the Staff and Management are no less than fantastic. I attended for only a week but in that time it was clear on what I was doing wrong through my job searches. Believe me, if you are over 40 and seriously looking for work or to improve your work life, you have to give Executives Available a call!! They will guide you in ways that you most probably have not thought of yet. I joined EA at a friend s recommendation and I was glad I did. EA helped me to build up and be effective in my job search, developing strong self marketing letters and resumes. Being with other qualified people at the weekly networking sessions in the same job predicament was reassuring and helped me stay positive. I landed at EA-CD after a year of ineffective career opportunity research following an 8 years sabbatical.

Having significant experiences and achievements before my sabbatical, the whole challenge was about interesting recruiters in my profile and convincing that the sabbatical did not altered my skills and expertise and actually matured them. And that what just happened with the positive and humanistic support of EA-CD staff.

The valuable advises of my counsellor and the inspirations from listening to colleague s stories in the networking sessions get me to question some of my certainties and that was the changing factor leading to attitude upgrade in many aspects mainly: perception of the self, perception of the market then the projection of what can I happily and effectively offer in targeted positions.

Henceforth, tuned up and coherent, I did get approached and was interviewed. Most importantly, I kept coherent in interviews no matter the conclusions and eventually get an offer for a position I have been referred to by the executive interviewing me for another position and finding some of my particular skills are in much need for a higher position.

For sure, the above could not have gone so well if not for listening and integrating the guidance s of the highly experienced counsellors both in professional career conduct and personnel human maturation. All this combined with the atmosphere encouraging groups dynamics, students networking and mutual support could just lead to the very high rate in graduations (above 80%) in reasonably short average time (3 months).

I would like to thank the entire EA-CD team for such continuous commitment in supporting people going through significant life changes.
