They suck! They couldn't even figure out, let alon...

They suck! They couldn't even figure out, let alone recognize a Chevy car that They sold my Mother, Brand New, off their own car lot, 8 years ago. Of which, they had to do many Warranty things over the years. But then, If you don't actually bring the car in to Their Shop for oil changes, rather than their own Xpress Lube, for two years, your records are purged from their system. And buy the way, the Chevrolet car my Mother bought from them? Was made in Korea, and has never been meant to drive in Montana winters. Yet Terry or Jerry Amble sold it to an elderly woman, knowing she had to travel Evaro, and lived in a rural road area, with no ABS also on the car! She also went four years without them being able to figure out what was up with her air pressure light...... without "$1000 extensive testing". Lol. Les Schaab (in Ronan) figured it out within a half hour of a season switch on tires. They suck!

Got me the best price for my trade in and made it that much easier to make the decision. Karl Tyler and Schmidty went above and beyond. Just got off the phone and vw said karl Tyler determine the cause. And after they did the work they didn't even vacuum the car out.this dealership is just another one run by scum bag liars.

We are having issues with a rough ride and when you hit a bump the truck rocks back and forth we have two other Chev trucks and they dont have this issue, brought it in for service and they said there was nothing they could do said they all ride that way it is a Silverado 1500 2014. I guess we will have to look for another option maybe will try the Toyota Tundra, Other than that we love it and Brennan is an awesome salesman..

Went to beaverhead motorsports for parts. Everything you need has to be ordered in. Never anything in stock. I made the comment, "everytime I need anything, it has to be ordered". The response was, "then stop coming here".

At the end of the day, the parts were actually in stock. The management personally delivered them to my home.

One of the best truck buying experience I have ever had. John Baldwin explained everything to me, with no pressure to buy, and after the purchase, I left feeling that we made a fair deal between us. My family has worked with John buying a couple of new vehicles and he came highly recommended by them. I now know why. I plan on buying all my future vehicles from this dealer and in particular, from John.

I had bought a couple used pickups from Karl Tyler (KT) in the early 2000 s & was pleased with how everything worked out. Then I purchased a decent used pickup from a dealership in Colorado b/c I thought I d found a super deal. It worked out ok for me, but I can t help wonder if KT could have done a better job for me as the Colorado salespeople seemed disingenuous. I recently called the Jenkins men at KT & ask if they could help me out with finding an adequate used pickup. I just purchased a Brand New pickup from KT for my first time in my life b/c Mike & Reed did more than simply help me, they completely took care of me & MY interests as if I was a close family relative. I fully understand why my Dad & Cousin have bought all their vehicles since 1990 from KT exclusively & nowhere else. I will now do the same for all my future vehicle purchases b//c I completely trust KT & value their unwavering honesty. I will always come to KT & not waste one second of my time with any other dealership b/c they truly care about what matters for the client...

Even after the sale, he went the extra mile to help us work through our concerns. The most important thing to Bill was that we were happy with our purchase. i had my truck in the shop 3 times witin 300 miles. i had oil pressure trouble and they only fixed half of it cleaning the screen but not changing the sensor so i had to pay to tow it there a second time where they changed the sensor and replaced my battery, a few days later my truck wouldnt get any power at all; i called them up and they insisted to send thier tow truck to take it to the dealership. they didnt get it in that night but told me it would be done first thing in the morning. i called at 1 in the afternoon and they still didnt get it in yet. at 4 they called and said they just got it in and it appeared the battery was messed with and blamed it on me for shorting out a main fuse; which i dont agree with because it was a brand new battery and only karl tyler worked on my trucks plus i use my alarm system so no one could of tampered with my battery; i feel the tech was in a hurry and didnt do the job right and when something happened he pasted the blame. i will not be returning to this dealership or any others under same ownership which is a shame because i just became a customer and work in another state so at least need a oil change every other month. i hope you can fix these staff errors to keep other customers. good luck

I just purchased a new Chevy Colorado from Karl Tyler here in Missoula, and could not be happier with the service I received! Reed Jenkins did a fantastic job sticking with me and my order during some very tough times in the new car business with Covid going on in the background. He stayed with it, communicated at every turn and got my truck delivered earlier than I expected! And the truck turned out even better than expected! I would highly recommend Reed and the team at Karl Tyler any day of the week- they are true professionals. 5 stars all the way!

I had an amazing experience at Karl Tyler Missoula. I have never been through the process of buying a vehicle before, and Cole Franke made it easy going, fast, relaxing and stress free. He was very friendly, patient and easy-going. The woman I worked with in the finance office was also very sweet, knowledgeable and fast.
With barely any credit and a set monthly payment in mind, I left with a used vehicle that I am extremely happy with since he made the ultimate effort.
After hearing so many terrible stories about buying cars from dealerships, it s safe to say I found a place that s very promising.
Overall, I enjoyed the atmosphere and business at this facility and I m going to be sure to return!

The folks in the service department were so great. Helpful, informative, and professional. I can't say the same for the gentleman working in fleet. He was pretty vocal about how much of an inconvenience I was that he had to drive me and my child to the city center. Look, I get it, I have worked in customer service and with the public in general for years; I know how much of a drag it can be some days. So when he dropped us off I tipped him more than I would an Uber driver using their own vehicle for the trouble. I guess I had hoped that it would have made the drive back less painful for everyone involved. Yet, when he came to pick me up again, he made a snide comment about my 6 year old son's haircut and said absolutely nothing else until the end of the ride which... why was that at all necessary? It was just such a bizarre experience; I kept wondering if his day was so bad he had to take it out on a stranger like that, or if he is underpaid and overworked? If you all need someone to help lighten his load, let me know! I enjoy that kind of work.

I have a 2017 GMC Sierra Denali that I brought in ...

I have a 2017 GMC Sierra Denali that I brought in for service to Karl Tyler. I had great service from their service department for many years in the past and I ve always been a Chevy/GM owner. The truck has less than 5000 miles on it and I ve owned it for less than a year. It is still covered by all of the manufacturer warranties. I am leasing it and received it brand new from Dave Smith.

The truck has a leak at the OnStar antenna causing water damage and staining in the headliner. Karl Tyler did not provide me with any indication of the extent of the water damage, but I can see stains in the headliner and water has leaked through the A pillar and dash into to floorboards. I first noticed the leak when my floors were soaked for several days after heavy rain. Techs at Karl Tyler diagnosed the leak and ordered a new antenna. It was never mentioned what would be done about my headliner water damage, so I contacted GMC customer service to inquire about my warranty coverage. I was told twice by two different customer service associates at GM customer care that the water damage was covered by warranty and the headliner would be replaced as part of the warranty coverage. They stated this was a manufacturer defect with the OnStar antenna leaking which caused the water damage to my headliner. Karl Tyler service refused to cover the replacement of the headliner after GMC customer service associates twice stated it was covered under my warranty. Karl Tyler stated it was required that the headliner be carpet cleaned after the antenna was replaced to remove the stains and this would be sufficient to satisfy the warranty coverage. This does not solve the issue of any possible mold growth in my headliner since Karl Tyler only intends to clean the surface of the stains and nothing will be done about the water damage between the headliner and the body of the truck. This also does not take into account any additional water damage to the electronics inside my dash since the water leaked from the antenna down the A pillar through the dash and onto the floor.

I also noticed while searching for further water damage that the service associate who worked on my truck pulled the carpet on the driver side away from the trim and failed to properly replace it. When I moved the weathertech floor mat to check for water damage in the carpets, I found the laziness of the service associate who had left the carpet hanging out all over the place and hadn t even properly secured my weathertech floormats to the pegs on the floor.

For a $60,000 truck, I would expect better service from GM and from my authorized warranty dealership. Somewhere there is a disconnect between Karl Tyler and GM since two different customer associates at GM read the warranty coverage and told me that my headliner would be replaced due to water damage and only Karl Tyler is refusing to offer the same assistance that GM says my warranty provides. Karl Tyler wants to use a rug doctor to remove the evidence of water damage so they can later deny it ever existed once the mold forms in the warm weather. Then it will be the same song and dance with me still stuck with a $60,000 moldy truck.

I have been a missoula native all my life and have used Karl Tyler many times for service with great results. I will likely never return to Karl Tyler after this incident.

Oil change and service plus had a tire that needed replaced w/ only 14,000 miles on it. They located a used tire with same tread wear as others saving me the need for four new tires! Awesome job, friendly service, etc.

I got a used Suburban. Getting it from a dealer is not the least expensive way to get one, but it is the least stressful and risky way. You deal with an organization that dots all the i's and crosses all the t's. As important, Karl Tyler has professionals who are friendly one and all in addition to being competent, Scott Lake and his colleague Coley and his boss Mike in particular.

John Baldwin made my car buying experience a breeze. He listened to what we were looking for and stayed within the budget that we asked, he did not try to upsell me into something I couldn't afford or I didn't like. He was willing to wait for me to make up my mind and really didn't pressure me. Since this was my first large purchase I was nervous to make a decision, but he explained everything clearly and was very patient. We will be going back to John at Karl Tyler when we are in the market for another car.

It was given a clean bill of health only for me to discover, after purchasing, that the fuel pump was shredding and half the injectors were already blown. I suspect their relationship with Montana Motor Mall skewed the results. Screwed me out of 6k!

The service dept was fantastic -- Mark Sickles listened carefully to the symptoms we'd been experiencing and Keith (? electronics tech) was very persistent in tracking down the cause of a problem that had led to us breaking down several times in the preceding days. They offered us use of a car while ours was in the shop -- free. They thought they had fixed the problem one day, but it recurred and they worked on it again at NO CHARGE and FOUND the problem that had confounded several other mechanics. We made it back from Missoula to western Oregon without a hitch.

Awesome experience. Bought a used Buick LaCrosse, Donny was my salesman and Lynn handled the finance and they both were great. Donny was knowledgeable of products on the lot, low pressure, very friendly and helpful. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. When I picked up the car, I got a full demonstration of how to use everything, the car was spotlessly clean and they filled it with gas for me. My entire family drives GM products and we definitely plan to purchase another vehicle from Karl Tyler when the time comes. My parents also get their vehicles serviced here and their experience has been excellent.

Karl Tyler Chevrolet here in Missoula was running a special for a full interior and exterior car d tail. I called and set up an appointment to have my suburban detailed. I informed them that my husband would be dropping it off and picking it up( this would be after hours pickup, so unfortunately we wouldn t be able to go over the vehicle before leaving the dealership) when my suburban was brought home I could tell the carpets had been shampooed ( they were really wet) which is fine, they ll dry out. But over the next couple days I noticed so much more, they hadn t even wiped down under the seats, there were still crumbs/dirt etc. the headliner wasn t cleaned AT ALL. They didn t even clean the weather tech mats I have installed throughout the vehicle. Overall I was very disappointed and it was a COMPLETE waste of money. We were referred to them from a Friend, won t ever refer them for a car detail again.

Karl Tyler mechanics flat out lied about damage to my engine and said I needed to buy a new car. I ended up taking it to another shop where my suspicions were confirmed. Simple fix, car purrs like a kitten. They recently sent me a bunch of garbage in the mail. Seriously, a bubblewrapped deflated latex balloon in a stupid amount of packaging? Don't take your vehicle here. They lie and pollute.

None of that nonsense you get at some dealership trying to up-sell you, or push you into whatever they've had sitting on the lot too long. It was 100% first class customer service. Brought my 2006 Chevy HHR in for a problem with the power steering. I was told that the power steering assist motor was covered under a factory recall. I was also told that they were booked up for about a week. I told the service manager that I would be leaving the state for a few days and asked if there was any way they could squeeze it in if possible. He said if I left my car there he would see what he could do. A few hours later, I got the call from them and said my car was ready to go. I can't say enough about how Karl Tyler Chevrolet went the extra mile for me. Thanks for a job well done guys!

I initially began talking with Steve Edgar at Karl Tyler from my location in Idaho about getting a new Colorado. He called me multiple times just to help and keep me informed on the status of my new pickup. One of the things I dread most about buying a new vehicle is the experience, as I do not like to get pressured or hassled when making a purchase. Not only did Steve respect me completely, but he went the extra mile to ensure that I felt comfortable during the entire process.

When I arrived at the dealership, Steve gave my mother and I a bottle of water, which, I know, is pretty common practice when trying to sell a vehicle, but he already sold me the Colorado I wanted, and he treated me as if he still cared. The financing bit wasn't too bad, I think the mans name was Coley, correct me if I'm wrong. He was fantastic. He was great to talk to, and he broke down everything, ensuring that I would completely understand the process.

Coley also didn't pressure me into buying any of the extra dealership incentives, and respected my decisions completely. The total process took about an HOUR!

I will DEFINITELY be recommending Karl Tyler to all of my friends and family in Idaho and the surrounding area.

For me, there was no doubt that I would be buying a Chevy or GMC. For some reason I had my heart set on a GMC Acadia. They were classy had all of the fun bells and whistles that I liked. I knew Steve Edgar would help me in achieving this task. He asked me ALL the right questions on why this specific vehicle. As soon I started answering, I was beginning to realize that this specific vehicle would not fit my needs. Simply not big enough, although a very sweet ride. We travel for sports frequently, enjoy taking long family road trips (with our large dog) and I use my vehicle for other programs that require considerable space. Steve immediately realized what the important things were to me and directed our attention to what would meet my requirements and still provide me with the classy look and all the fun options! My experience with Brennan and the Karl Tyler Chevrolet Team was the best I've had on a car lot. My daughter and I weren't mobbed when we arrived at the lot. I had a couple minutes to look around and locate the vehicle I wanted. Brennan started the conversation like a normal person and didn't start out with the typical "what can we get you in to today" or "which of these beauties will you be driving home". I was treated with respect and like a friend or family member, not just another commission. Brennan knew every detail about the vehicle I wanted and never had to go find out an answer. He knows his stuff. Brent was amazing and made sure I understood everything that made up my payment. He went above and beyond to make sure my payment stayed where I needed it.
