Spent a relaxing Sunday afternoon pool side. The fish tacos were delicious and so were the cocktails. Our server Gabe was exceptional and made our experience a day to remember. We will be visiting again real soon.

Beautiful and clean spacious room. Great food at The Whisper Creek Kitchen! Try the burger, or farm salad... deliciousness! The pools are gigantic with lots of chairs and room. Even the conference food was very well done.

Resort is gorgeous but a 15 minute walk / $8 uber from anything off-site because the property is so huge. Uber from airport to resort was under $30 USD (uberX). All staff encountered were super friendly and helpful. Free chilled water always available throughout. Concierge printed off maps for us and gave advice. We had a package from Amazon delivered during our stay with no issues. UberEats delivers a good variety of food to the hotel but they have to be met in the lobby for pick up due to hotel policy. Grocery delivery available via an outside service but with 72hr lead time. Butterfly garden is free but basically just a group of colouful plants - no guarantee of seeing butterflies. There is a sort of convenience store on-site but selection is quite limited and be prepared for one 500ml soft drink costs $4 USD. Pool is sublime (tubes for lazy river are $10-$20 purchase price if part of a convention, free if just a regular guest). Any hotel-provided food we had was delicious and well-cooked. Two hot tubs on-site among the pool area. Lots of shaded areas to sit and relax by pool. Outdoor pool table and foosball. Get a map of resort at reception; things are closer in reality than they appear to be on the map.

One of our very favorite hotels of all the places we stay ANYWHERE. Service excellent in all areas. Room service excellent. Nice boutique store where I always find nice clothes for spring and summer back home in Indiana. Wonderful spa altho a bit pricey for the average person unless you consider a $200 facial "a common price"! I'm a Dr and needed to tend to an elderly man who sustained a scalp injury upon falling against a chair in the lobby after we were all leaving a financial conference dinner I attended with my husband. The extremely nice security man immediately got a med kit for me so I could fashion an emergency steri-strip & pressure bandage as we awaited EMS for a further evaluation in the ER given his age. (We referred to it as "Wilderness Medicine" in the lobby.) The river run pool is one of our favorite features as we have grandchildren living there who enjoy visiting us there and riding on the rafts along the way. There is an outstanding play area for young children as well as areas for adults to find solitude. It's a hefty walk to reach the conference center for meetings but there is so much property to explore, it's an excellent place to bring your family if you have a meeting there or have family in the area to come visit while attending a conference.

Primo was absolutely delicious. The food was amazing- highly recomend the antipasto platter. We had an issue with our credit card being charged multiple times which we noticed the following day and the staff are working to get it fixed. Would still go back despite issue.

The room was great single king size bed, with water front view. First night we had a welcome open bar , with appetizers. The bar selection was great , the survive was on point. We tried to have dinner at the Kitchen restaurant but there was an hour wait. The next day breakfast was served prior to a lecture ( it was ok , not enough protein), and open buff lunch at the Kitchen restaurant witch was great. The room was clean, plenty of towels, toiletries. Overall great experience , the staff is very nice especially the welcome desk!

I had a great time with my wife and infant during a four day stay. The staff was pleasant and the lazy river was a ton of fun. Don't forget to check out the Spa at the Ritz Carlton next door. Franz at in room dining is a treasure.

We had two rooms for new years weekend. I dont know where to start. I was expecting a room turn down at night which never happened. Was told two double beds in each room but turned out to be one king bed in each. I asked for connected rooms but got adjoining rooms which was essentially useless.
The next morning I called maid service to make the room. They said about 30 mins. So we left for lunch and came back 3 hours later. No rooms cleaned yet. So finally somone showed up and they said that we would have to leave the rooms before they can clean up. Its 4 pm and the rooms are still dirty. Absurd.

So we ate lunch at the Citron restaurant. What an experience. First the glasses were dirty when we sat down and I requested that they be changed. So ok done. Next we told them no pork products. So these rolls come to the table with bacon. Next the soft drinks were flat. Told them to bring new ones. So new ones arrive with old lipstick on the glasses. Disgusting! ! I ordered 2 kids burgers and they were charred black and hard. So now some new burgers. I finally talkes to the manager who apologized and gave me 50% off the meal. Overall disappointed. If I can pay for two rooms I sure could have paid for the meal. I would have expected it for free. Come on JW where is your customer service. ..

I had a great time at this hotel. Was here on business but had lots of down time. The pool area is really the crown jewel. Huge lazy river that you can float down is awesome and great if you have kids. Food is good. I only took a star off because at the bars in the pool areas they automatically add an 18% gratuity to any food and drink you buy. And the food and drink is not cheap. Wasn t a big fan of paying $12.50 USD for a 24oz beer or nearly $50 USD for a bucket of 6 Coronas.

Overall, I would definitely come back.

Resort is amazing! Workers showed the best customer service and were all super friendly.

I would give 5 stars but I do hate resorts who charge $30+ to eat anything and the food is nowhere close to the price.

Best service ever. Was a bit crowded but it was also mother's day weekend. Good food with reasonable or expect prices for a resort. Loved the lazy river and pool area. Everything was clean. Rooms are up-to-date and comfortable. Would def stay here again

This is my favorite JW Marriott. Includes an amazing, relaxing Lazy River, 2 Jacuzzis, Ping Pong Table, Volleyball, Golf, Outdoor Fireplace with Mashmellows and Chocolate. Incredible, Beautiful, Golf, Lake and Sunset views. Spectacular Landscape. The Top Convenient SPA. Starbucks, Steak, Japonese, The Kitchen Restaurants and Amazing Bar and Social area. The Lobby offers Free WIFI, Refreshing Alcalinizant Water and Plenty of Meeting and Business areas. Great for Vacation, Meetings, Events and Convertions.

We have come here many times and enjoyed the rooms and amenities. Today we have been waiting to get into our room since noon and it is now 5pm. The issue is that they have been saying the room has been cleaned since 2pm but a final inspection has not been completed. So now we wait until someone can verify the standards of the cleaning which is great in concept however not well executed if it take 3 hours to complete.

Edit: Revised rating due to credit that was applied to our account.

High quality family resort hotel.

High quality family resort hotel.
Lobby is cozy and airy at the same time. Classy touch with infused water at the reception desks.
Standard double queen rooms are spacious and up to standard for a 4-star plus hotel. Bathroom was in good shape with separate shower and bathtub. I was impressed with the modern smart TV's fitted with Netflix, so you can view the full scope of that streaming service using your own login.
WiFi at the resort is decent and reliable.
Breakfast in the main restaurant is excellent: covers all the important food groups including doughnut holes! ;) The experience is much better in the earlier part of the morning as it typically gets very crowded towards 10:00.
Pool area is a matter of taste: The JW pool is big and noisy with a lazy river and floats. It's fun for some, but if you want a more serene environment, it's a mere 5 minute walk through the conference centre that connects to the sister hotel Ritz-Carlton.
Kids club (also at the Ritz) has a lot to offer, although during high season it can be fully booked. The air hockey table in the same area is lots of fun!
The mandatory resort fee does allow for you to book a lot of fun activities like the multi-person bike: please note, it's not suitable for non-paved paths! Tennis courts also available and in good condition.

A few criticisms:
- In-room dining can be a loooong wait.
- I get it, it's the USA, but save at least one screen in the sports bar to show some European football matches.

Amaizing place to rest and enjoy almost all in same place. Great quality service, depending on reservation bigger rooms. Just can say that I felt in love with the view, not matter is to the complex and many Parks. Definitely I'll be choose it again!

Room was fine except for no hot water and love bugs (many of them in the room). Was told the reason I didn't have hot water is because it's a tall building. Told me to run sink faucet, tub faucet and shower stall faucet for at least 5-10 minutes. Once sink and tub had hot water, shut those off and then shower will have hot water. Absolutely ridiculous. My friend on a higher floor had hot water so rationale is flawed. As for the love bugs, was told they are harmless to humans. They just make love. If only one bug, maybe no big deal. But I found at least 8. Was not offered any solution or discount or room change. At $600 per night, least I can have is hot water and bug free room. Take a look at the pic, would you be ok with them in your room, on the wall, bed, window, floor, basically every where?

Meh

Absolutely amazing hotel. The front desk staff is super friendly, the amenities are plentiful. The lazy river was a great touch. Be sure to book the shuttle service at least 24 hours in advance. The breakfast buffet was excellent, well above any other I have had at a mainstay Marriott property. I will definitely stay here again.

Our favorite hotel in Orlando, and one of our top favorites! Probably the best pool in Orlando. Floating through the lazy river at night looking up through the trees and bamboo is magical! Pool bar serves you at your lounge chair; good food.

We stayed here overnight so we weren't able to fully enjoy all the amenities. It was a little pricey, but the hotel was nice and clean. We stayed in Room 10011 (see pictures). The staff was helpful, professional and polite. We ate at two different places on the property. The food was okay. Even though the trip was short, we did enjoy the stay.
