Love the hotel and lazy river pool. Staff goes above and beyond. We were disappointed with the dinner buffet at Citron. Selections given were Not worth the money and it has gone downhill over the last three years that we've eaten there. No wonder there were lots of empty spaces.

The hotel is very nice inside and out. We had a room overlooking the pool and lake which also provides a spectacular view of Orlando and Disney. There are multiple places to eat on property and the pool is one of the best you can find with plenty of areas to relax or drift around in the lazy river. It is also adjacent to the Ritz Carlton and the Spa so you have additional restaurants to choose from there. If you are I to Golf there is also a wonderful golf course and driving range to take advantage of. The hotel is located 5 mins from Sea World, 10 mins from Universal, 10 mins from Disney, and 10 mins from Point Orlando and I-Drive.

Nice resort hotel. There are multiple conference rooms. Staff is very friendly and helpful. There are a couple restaurants, resort style pools, bars, gift shop and FedEx business center. Highly recommend for corporate events. The guest room has a huge 65 - 75" 4k TV.

We've been in four and five star hotels around the world. Three days here and my wife and I agree, this place is right up there as one of the best. No, it's not cheap, but it's very reasonable for what you get.

A pool attendant named Ashley asked if I wanted to fill out an accident report which I declined.
The kiosks said they are 3rd party vendors and that they too have seen numerous incidents. I am thankful neither of my grandchildren were hit and just hope that Marriott will think of the potential danger these flying missiles can incur vs the monetary aspect of the sale.

I love the JW. The lobby alone is worth the visit. Then the pool area takes it up a notch.

I ve stayed both in the summer and for New Years with the fireworks. If you want a great show on New Years, you can see the whole town light up here.

Superb hotel, great grounds and restaurants, easy access to Ritz Carlton on the same property with even more great dining possibilities. Kids will love the water features; grownups will love the scheduled events at Whisper Creek Farm .

Stayed here for a corporate event and it was very accommodating. With a group of nearly 500, the hotel handled everything with ease and no issues tailoring to the needs of our employees. The combined facilities with the Ritz Carlton came in handy as well when it came to planning meetings.

The event dinner held on the properly was professionally handled and very well prepared. All in all, I was very impressed with the staff, facilities and accommodations at the Orlando Grande Lakes and would happily stay there again.

I went there for a conference. So I have no idea what the rooms look like. The main ballroom was spacious and the preparations were excellent. Food was great too. Conference went very smooth.

From the moment we arrived we were relaxed and extremely impressed with everything from service to cleanliness. The atmosphere is very upscale. Valet parking is absolutely worth it and the gentleman never took more than a few minutes to bring our car around. You ll be hard pressed to find better restaurants than the ones inside the JW Marriott. It s not even worth it to eat outside the hotel. For breakfast go to Citron everyday. You ll be overwhelmed with the quality and quantity of exceptional tasting food. They make their waffles, pancakes and omelets on the spot fresh. The breakfast potatoes are to die for!! The fruit is peak of season fresh as well as the freshly squeezed orange juice. For the bargain price of $32 per person, you can eat and drink all you like! The servers and hosts are top of the line as well. Karina was a fantastic server who made sure we had everything we needed! Once you re hungry again ( bc you re going to eat SO much good food), visit The Kitchen for dinner. Our favorites were the prime burger sliders, the pretzels with cheese dip and the bruschetta bread. And oh my goodness the salads! The food is made very very fresh with high quality Ingredients.

The room itself was very clean (I basically have OCD and I approved). Our sheets were perfectly clean. The bathroom was clean and stocked with toiletries.

We never used room service because the hotel is just too beautiful to miss an opportunity to check out all the wide decorated hallways. Walk over to the Ritz anytime, but you ll be anxious to get back to the JW as I absolutely prefer it. Especially for the food.

While my family and I were staying at the Lakeshore Reserve, we were able to visit the JW Marriott. As an added bonus, on the weekdays you can use the facilities at the JW Marriott while being a guest at Lakeshore Reserve. We were able to use the pool there. The pool is one big pool that is connected by a lazy river. My family got to enjoy our time here before having to check out at the Lakeshore Reserve. I guess staying at the JW you can probably visit Lakeshore Reserve pool also. Enjoy your stay!

This place is amazingly opulent. Great architecture. Pool area and restaurant was nice. It is very pricey, but if you are staying here then you already know that. Food was pretty good. Great burgers.

Beautiful place. Was upgraded for $100 to a suite that had some air conditioning issues. Notified management. Not really rectified. Seemed to be put off. Disappointed there. Food was excellent.

We arrived on Friday 9/25 for our friends 40th birthday weekend. there were 18 of us with 6 kids 5 younger than 6. The pool was great and the only five star part of our experience.

Friday night we had a reservation at the Primo restaurant. Our reservation was for 8pm. We were in the lobby bar waiting to be called in. About 815 we are brought into the restaurant lobby. We waited there about 15 minutes when the organizer of our group informed us that the restaurant sat someone at our reserved table and we would have to go back to the bar to wait for a room to clear. At 910pm we were finally seated. The service was second rate, definitely not what I expect from a JW Marriott. We ordered some apps and they came out about 30 minutes later. They again were just ok.

It is now 940pm and we have 5 kids with us. They did get the kids orders first so they had food quickly. I commend the restaurant on that. Dinner came and the food was just plain. My wife ordered the $50 steak medium. It came out burn and well done. By that time it was past 1015 and we were just over it. Hoping for some desert and coffee the next thing I see is the check being dropped. We were not even offered desert. I have had better meals and dining experiences for 1/3 the price. This was not a great start to our visit.

Saturday the 26th. As a group we spent the day at the pool. That was great. The lazy river is awesome and the kids loved it. We decided to have an informal dinner in the lobby bar. My wife and I got down about 730. Our group had been sitting there for about 30 minutes. Service again was the worst. We had to bus our own tables. I ordered 2 kids pizzas and the short rib dinner. It came out about 30 minutes later, which is not bad but our friends had ordered their food 30 minutes before we did and still did not get their order. The last of our group came down and was told that they are not taking orders right now as the kitchen is taking about an hour to prepare food. When we asked if we could order pizza from outside we were told 'no'. We would not be allowed to eat that here. This is unacceptable. If the restaurant cannot serve us food we should not be kept from ordering food from outside.

Overall this was a fun experience to have with my kids and friends. The food was terrible across the board for the prices that we were paying. I don't mind paying for overpriced items if the service and quality is there. It definitely was not on this trip.

I do have to point out some bright spots. The bartenders at the lobby bar and the outside pool bar were awesome! Edwin was the best and very professional about everything.

I doubt that anything will come of this but I needed to put my review out there. This was a poor representation of the Marriott culture I have come to look forward to.

Beautiful place and great service. Try the Citron for breakfast! Dion at the Omelet station went out of his way to make me a special omelet Our servers Jonathan and Ruth were great. Again they went searching for the kind of yogurt the children love.
Wonderful stay!

Nice hotel! Was here for a conference. They did a great job housing the conference, and the rooms and overall facility were very nice! Outside ambiance in the surrounding area were also great. I'm not a holder, but I was told that the course was nice. Fitness facility was a long walk from my room, but it was nice so no complaints.

Just came back from a 3day/2nite Youth Conference. Your hotel was beautiful. The staff went out of their way to be helpful. The rooms and overall hotel was clean at all times. There were plenty of staff people willing to help us. All the teens that were at the conference, approx. 2,500, were kept under control and I commend your staff for doing such an excellent job!

Please keep up the great work and God Bless You All!!!

On Point!!! Thats the best way I can describe this Hotel and staff. Emily Front Desk Manager is one of three best up and comers I have seen. Definitely is one of the hardest working Managers I have ever seen. The hotel has one of the best pools I have been too. My 3 kids loved it. Breakfast Buffet package is a must. Very clean hotel and very friendly helpful staff. Valet is absolutely wonderful as well. Great job to everybody. Of course nobody is perfect and I had a discussion with Emily about up and coming improvements to the Suites. Can't wait to come back to Orlando and stay in the new suites coming. I have to give a shout out to Michael the front desk Manager in the mornings. It was the smoothest check out I have ever had. We had to wake up as a family at 3 am to get ready from urban 7 am checkout. Just an excellent job done by everybody. To the General Manager of this hotel. Your staff is very well trained and very pleasant. Oh yeah Jarod in the concierge lounge is Awesome. He knows all the tours and everything to do in Orlando. Go see him asap to get your schedule all set up for the week.

We booked the honeymoon/romance room and the champagne took 2 and 1/2 hours to get to hour room, and there was an issue with the led light by the bed. We had to call twice to get the service they promised.

Worst, over rated stay ever. Am never going back to pay 5 star prices for the worst food selections, worst help, and non caring staff ever. Do not waste your money. This hotel must be making their own reviews.

Incredible, one of the finest and most luxurious hotels I've ever been in on my travels. Was extremely impressed with plethora of wildlife with one of the most pleasant experiences being the staff. The staff of every single area are some of the most accommodating and friendly I've met anywhere. Our luggage was lost and they immediately provided us with simple toiletries as well as took extra care to help us locate our luggage. The food was exceptional and breakfast was beyond compare. Unfortunately we forgot to snap photos as the flavor was absolutely excellent. If you are staying in Orlando, you must stay here.

Love this place! Stay here everytime we are in Orlando. Kids would rather be here than at Disney. Have been coming here six years straight and have always had a wonderful time. Girls love the pool activities every couple hours and never a problem getting chairs...we usually don't make it down there until noon...plenty of room....the lazy river is awesome.

The resort was great. Very clean and all of the staff I encountered were friendly and helpful. Coffee in our conference room would have been a nice addition but otherwise the event went off seamlessly.
