We ve stayed here as a family quite a few times over the years. We keep coming back because we love the place! So comfortable, great staff, beautiful landscape and decor in the hotel. We love the restaurants inside as well. The pool is very fun with the lazy river and we enjoy the ping pong tables too. Thanks for another great stay!

I came for a business conference and was very pleased with my experience. Customer service was phenomenal in every part of the resort. I ordered room service twice in my 5 day trip and it was delicious. I will be back for a leisure trip without a doubt.
Was visiting Orlando for a Conference which was being held at the Marriott Grande Lakes. I was staying about a 10 minute cab drive away and was super impressed by the Grande Lakes Hotel, grounds, staff.. ok, pretty much everything!
We were based in a huge conference room where hot drinks were always available and the staff were SO friendly and polite.
The whole hotel is a buzz of people from all over the world and the building itself is gorgeous, my only regret is that I wasn t able to stay here along with a lot of other people from the conference but hope to do so in the future because my first impression was a good one so hope to return in the future!
This JW lives up to the name. It is attached to the Four Seasons and provides everything you have come to expect from the JW arm of the Marriott brand. Our stay was only for 2 nights, but it was perfect. If you are a Marriott Rewards Member, there is never a reason NOT to stay here when in Orlando.
Came for business trip to attend the Grace Hopper. The hotel is fantastic! They have tons of amenities and excellent food in variety of options. Hope I can soak in the pool for the whole stay next time!
We decided on this hotel based on the pool area. The whole place is amazing and the service is the best I've experienced. Very clean rooms and well thought out in everyway. The lazy river and entire pool area is the best! I definitely enjoyed weekdays vs weekends based on amount of ppl checked in. Will be going back!!!! 5 stars!!!
Was there for a week for a conference. Beautiful landscape, comfortable room, the staff are pleasant. Would of given it a 5 but my tv did not work the whole week I was there.
Hotel is tucked away and very private. I was here on a business trip. The guest room I was in (two double beds) was spacious. Especially notable was the large bathroom with a separate tub and shower. Staff was especially pleasant. The only thing I will say that made me give it three stars was the dated decor. The room had furniture which was close to "used" status and had dings and scratches all over. The coffee machine was stuffed in a closet which was inconvenient in terms of where to put it and the colour scheme was deplorable; mint and beige is not in. I know they were going with the ocean resort feel but they failed miserably.
Other than that, great hotel. Internet access is EXPENSIVE.
Lovely but vast. Somewhat confusing to get around and rather lacking in customer service representatives to guide you or assist you in a timely manner. If you have no real need for expediency, then you should enjoy your stay. It's a beautiful place with many wonderful things to offer.
This hotel sucked! Especially for the outrageous price (of everything: rooms, food, drinks, etc...). The entire hotel smelled strange, as if they were pumping a nauseating perfume through the air ducts. The iron/ironing board in the room did not work, and in three nights and three notifications to the front desk, it was never replaced or examined. The toilet in the bathroom ran for two of the three nights while I stayed here and like the iron/ironing board was never examined or repaired. The televisions in the rooms were the least user friendly I have ever encountered and did not have any HD channels. Half the time, the TV remote did not work, even after replacing the batteries. I am not a hard person to please, but for $200+ a night, I would expect that things work. Furthermore, I would expect that in the hospitallity industry, genuine concerns are addressed and not ignored. Based on my experience, I would never stay here again.
THE LAZY RIVER WaS AWESOME! Great location. Great attention to details. The perfect place to recover after a day or two doing the frenetic theme park thing with our 4 year old grandson. The hotel and lazy river were his favorite part of our 5 day vacation.
Great property and resort. Only negative is there parking situation. Got charged $31.95 to park may own vehicle for 20 minutes, to register for an event. #ripoff
TERRIBLE! First, the parking situation is among the worst I've seen for a hotel of the proposed caliber. It is inconvenient. And if you are navigating at night... good luck. We decided to use the valet parking instead. HOWEVER, after handing over our keys & leaving our bags to be taken to our room, we went to check-in only to find that (despite booking months ahead of time) the hotel had made a mistake & over-booked their rooms. After driving from Naples, we found ourselves without a room at 8pm. They never called us to advise of the mix-up ahead of time, which would have prevented us a lot of headache. The manager was unsympathetic & emphasized how that was the least enjoyable part of his job. Oh... I'm sorry... The least enjoyable part of our vacation was arriving to find we didn't have the room we'd booked months in advance... When we got to another hotel in the area, they disclosed that our situation with the JW Marriott was not the first or an uncommon occurrence. Bottom line... Reserve at your own risk, but I would recommend the Hyatt Regency instead!
Beautiful property. The lobby and public areas are incredible. The guest rooms are spacious and have high quality furniture, linens, and bathroom. The gym is a bit of a walk but it is enormous and state of the art. Like most resorts, you pay for everything (no free coffee or anything) but if you want luxury this place has it.
The room is not as nice as I expected it to be. The coffee machine was hides away in the closet but no sign to help direct you. The hair dryer is kinda old and dingy. I also expected more. The bathroom and bath products are nice and there's new tv with streaming service. There are nice restuarants in the hotel area. Parking on site is expensive, $25 a day. 15-20 min to the airport depending on thw time of day. It's about 20 min from Disney Spring with $1.50 toll each way. No shuttle there. I think there is shuttle to the park but you have to make reservation 24 hr in advance. All this ..It's really not worth the price of room per night.
Very comfortable and enjoyable . Good service throughout. Lazy river/pool is so relaxing, good mix of sun spots and shade. You can spend your entire day out on the property. Great food poolside. Fresh when it gets to you. Nice landscaping as you walk the property, sir on hammocks or enjoy boating or biking. Staff is friendly overall as you enjoy everything. Citron breakfast buffet is what I enjoy most when I come Food is fuel Minus one star because there was a slight odor in the bathroom.
The worst hotel I have ever stayed in! It's 12 midnight ive asked then to have the next door room turn the music down and still the walls are vibrating. WAY TO MUCH MONEY for this. I will not come back. Personally I think these people own me at this point.
Part two....I was woken up at 7:30 am and called the desk to have the manager or supervisor come up. I was asked for the reason why...I explained with noise that was happening last night was now going on at 7:30 am......no one ever contacted me
Part three....its my second night here...its 12:14 in the morning and the walls are vibrating from the music in the room next door....I cant call the front desk because the phone is broken.....
Spectacular three nights at an extraordinary property. All their restaurants were on point and we enjoyed the lobby bar. Our room was spotless and very comfortable. Loved every detail of our visit. One of my favorite Orlando properties! Can t recommend enough.
You can never go wrong at a property associated with the Ritz Carlton and JW Marriot. Excellent attached Golf course and beautiful properties and rooms.
We come to this hotel annually. The staff and rooms are amazing! They always make us feel welcome and appreciated. And the lazy river is one of our favorites. Look forward to our trips and knowing we will always receive consistent service is also great! Highly recommend!
Dinner. with family, homemade pasta, meatballs, was the perfect spaghetti sauce, the salad had different greens the homemade dressing is wonderful, desserts where delightful, presentation of the meal was appeling, service was very good, our waiter was friendly and knowledgeable, dinning at the JW Marriott is a great treat!
We stayed on the 5th floor in a room that overlooked the "village". The hotel was clean and super busy due to an event that was in town. Despite the volume of people, the hotel was very efficient parking the car, checking in, and getting us settled into the room. Our room had an extremely comfortable king bed, separate shower and tub, loveseat and a desk. Had a great LG TV, but the remote was difficult to use. Our room stay included the breakfast buffet, which was good. Normally, it's $32 per person, not sure it's worth that. The buffet included a wise variety of breakfast items, and also had made to order eggs, pancakes, and waffles.
Great and luxury hotel, huge conference Rooms. Easy to get there by Uber and is surrounded by shopping stores and restaurants. This hotel feels more like a business hotel than a family hotel. Also it has beautiful surroundings to walk around the golf course.
Absolutly wonderful experience!Nobody does it any better than Marriott the accommodations were great but the service was impeccable I find no fault other they were stumbling over themselves to help you.The lazy river is not to be missed young and old alike. Not to be missed. The dining was perfect really enjoyed ourselves.web-are from Orlanfo and took advantage of a couples weekend romantic retreat
Sigh....don't stay here. There are plenty of other options. You SHOULD like this place. Good location. Lazy river pool. Great restaurants. Shared amenities with The Ritz next door. All great things. UNFORTUNATELY, our stay was less, way less, than amazing. We showed up at 11:00am with two kids super anxious to use that lazy river pool. Yes. Early. But early as a Platinum member? Never a problem before. Nice day...for FOUR hours as we waited and waited and WAITED for our room to be ready. Even Disney was WAY more accommodating. Anyway, we checked in with about 1000 lawyers showing up for a conference. Now their schedules are different. No kids. Don't care about sunlight or the pool. They checked in! After we finally checked in, our room was good but the safe was broken. Not a big deal but even after a call down, they didn't fix it. We used the pool at dusk, had dinner and when we returned, we received a note at the door stating the hotel rooms' water would be turned off the next day from 10am to 2pm. WHAT?!? The last day of our vacation and we all have to rush to use the bathroom in the morning (no shower, toilet or sink). I finally complained. They offered 1/2 of the points we spent for one day. What? Seriously? How about some more? Marriott's points are now so overpriced. I am so disappointed with this hotel and this experience. The icing on the cake though. The first day, the alarm went off in our room at 6am. The second morning, the empty room next door had their alarm go off next to our heads at 5am for an hour. What the heck?!?! That's never happened to me ever in my travels. Seriously, the whole stay was one big Cluster F***.
Revision noting manager's response. Thank you for your blanket response to my note within one day of my writing it. I would have much preferred to have met that quick response during the days we stayed at the hotel. We're in Orlando regularly but I would not stay here again unless I read REGULAR reviews noting things to the contrary of my qualms. I'm sorry. It was the training of the people, not the place itself that bothered me. The alarms weren't the icing on the cake. I forgot. It was the girl who checked is out who didn't smile at us, look at us really, and did not once utter the words, "How was your stay?" Sorry. Not impressed.
I stayed at the JW Marriott for a low key bachelorette party and it was AMAZING! The lady who checked us in was a sweetheart (I'm so sorry I forgot your name- but she talked to me a bit about her bachelorette party in New Orleans and her wedding at Leu Gardens). They ended up sending us a bottle of champagne and chocolate covered strawberries. Just awesome staff and a beautiful hotel. I liked it so much my Husband and I are going back for a mini staycation!
All very clean and very good attention of the staff both the front desk girls and housekeeper Charity who left the room impeccable if they plan to visit the parks I recommend excellent place for vacation and the pool area I definitely loved next time What a trip to Orlando I plan to go here
JW Marriott and Ritz properties stun again!!! Celebrated our anniversary here, and we cannot get enough of the world class service, healthy dining options, beautiful aesthetics throughout and breathtaking photo opportunities. Thank you JW!
