One of the best hotels i have ever visited. They have the friendliest staff ever. They are well prepared for any situation. They have pool, restaurant, bar, Starbucks, shops and a lake in that resort. Beds are clean, and rooms are amazing.

We love coming here! The rooms are nice, service impeccable, and plenty of amenities (lazy river, biking, spa, etc). Highly recommended for a romantic getaway or family vacation and everything in between!

Gorgeous hotel and property! My favorite in Orlando. Restaurants are pricey, but still worth it for the overall experience. Pool bar is amazing. Pools, lazy river, lobby and shops are all top tier. I recommend everybody stay here at least once.

It was very modern and clean. Service was good and the people were nice. The food was delicious. The location is very good. Everything was close and accessible. The golf course was well maintained. Overall, it was a great stay.

The staff is great! Rooms are fine although they could use an update. The crowd here is very redneck riviera and they cater to that with the non-stop country music at the pool. Lots of beer koozies and adults ignoring their kids while drinking corona buckets at 10am.

This is one of the nicest and most kid friendly hotels I've ever stayed at. Where do I start, Lazy River and rooms with an actual balcony, so you can step right out of your room and get some fresh air without having to get dressed and go down 20 floors just to step outside and feel the weather. Pool tables and foosball tables, arcade room. 4 restaurants to choose from, so you're not stuck eating the same style of food every day. Starbucks and a little bakery plus a little gift shop. Breakfast buffet with an omelet station and a pancake and waffle station. Room service fit for a King . I will admit, a little on the pricey side, but if you're looking for a hotel where you don't have to leave to keep the kids happy, this is the place for you!!! I look at it as saving some money because you have a little waterpark at your convenience and you don't have to spend extra money getting the kids into one of the theme parks. The kids will be just as happy hanging out at the hotel enjoying all the little perks that The Marriott has to offer here. This will be our family vacation spot every summer now.

Don't get a car from out front - they may charge 4x the cost of a cab and may not have a clue where they are going. The receptionist was completely unhelpful and should go work at a 7-11 based on her uncomprehensible response to a customer.

I am shocked at how well ran this place is. Very helpful staff. If it's not availability they will try their hardest to make it available. Every corner of this place is extremely clean, almost white glove level of clean. I will definitely be staying here the next time I come out to Orlando.

Nice resort with a fun "lazy river" pool system. BUT, be aware when booking the room rate will not include: $30/day resort fee + tax & very high meal options like $30/person breakfast buffet or $40/person dinner buffet or farm to table restaurant that will cost you probably $40/person (food only). So, budget for those expenses if plan to stay here. Be aware they are charging you the resort fee whether you are at the hotel & using those services or not & you have access to a shuttle, internet with the fee. The whole "resort fee" is very underhanded way for hotels to make their price online look cheaper than the actual out-the-door price you pay.

I had to add a couple things after my initial rating. First of all I do not recommended having food here. Both meals were not well prepared. Primo, Just stick with the Pizza. I wouldn't recommend anything else. Restaurant off the lobby. Drinks only. Food not recommended.
If you are a titanium member. We did receive an upgrade room by the kind staff at the front desk. We had the option to have points or breakfast. We chose breakfast. But come to find out, the restaurants are not open during the week. So we received a $25 credit to eat at the Starbucks. Okay that's fine we agreed to that. We were told. It would be automatically applied when we checked out of the hotel. Upon checkout I noticed that we did not receive that credit. Contrary of what were were told at check-in, We were told @ l that it was our responsibility to let Starbucks know that we are using a $25 credit for breakfast. And she said there was really nothing they can do about it. I said we never had breakfast once in the restaurant and I would rather just have my all the points instead of the credit that we were not be able to use. Keep our Starbuck charges. Finally she was able to work out a credit. My recommendation would be to stay for the pool and activities area. And go out to eat instead of eating at the hotel. Possibly they are having issues with their chefs during the Coronavirus. So that could possibly change. We tried to stay at the Ritz-Carlton. I wanted to use are multiple Suite Upgrade certificates. And when we called them they said "we do not honor Elite status at our facility."

I was here on a business trip and we had an amazing time. The rooms, service, food and the whole experience was great. Loved the Jacuzzi. The only issue was that the room was not ready and it kind of set my agenda back, however, with more than 800 of us registering on this day, I understood.

This is a very nice hotel with terrific amenities. I stayed three nights at the end of May as part of the Sterling Conference. I would like to recognize Victor Diaz as a hotel staff member that went above and beyond the call of duty. Victor was assisting the Sterling Conference with audio/visual resources. In my 20 years of conference speaking, I can safely say Victor provided the highest level of service and support I have ever received. Thank you for having such great employees.

The hotel is gorgeous! The rooms are spacious and well done. We were surprised by how family friendly it is. There s nothing like watching your kids splash in the pool with their signature mixed drinks in hand. It s paradise! My new favorite staycation spot. JW Grande Lakes is nothing but five star experiences.

Second time visiting this lovely hotel. Both times for business but they make it pleasure ya know!? Its practically the attached by birth siamese twins of the industry leader in excellence the world FAMOUS Ritz-Carlton hotel. Hotel has everything your heart could desire from resort style pools to restaurants inside that are highly reviewed. Thank you again JW Marriot Orlando for another grand d ole times it's almost the happiest place on earth. This this another local business that holds that top spot.

Great hotel. The rooms are well made, very clean, well maintained, and make it really inviting to stay. Lots of electrical outlets for families with many devices. The views are amazing especially in the upper floors. We like this hotel very much. Ample space for everything! The pool with the lazy river is very family friendly. Great size and way to wind down the hot afternoon. The gym is very well maintained. It is right on the spa building with the nearby Ritz Carlton. The whole facility offers great amenities including tennis and basketball courts. The acreage is serene for that morning jog or simple walk around the lake. Definitely a place to stay.

Gotchas include daily self-parking at an extra (I mean it is self parking) and the Internet free wifi is spotty limited to 6 devices per room. There is extra for high speed, but did not try that since we were not there for business reasons. Closest markets and restaurants outside the facility are about 15-20 minutes out. The Kitchen at the hotel has amazing pizzas and foodies. The restaurant at nearby Ritz also was a great option for us. For Starbucks lovers, the store inside is a welcome plus.

Overall, great hotel! Service is fantastic and second to none.

Fantastic! The hotel has great amenities and the lazy river is so much fun for the whole family. I would suggest not closing the pool bar even if there are only a few guest there. Several guest wanted food and drinks so they could extend their time with family and friends.

I stayed at this property while in Orlando for a conference. The property was nice. The first room that I was given had a moldy smell, so I asked to change rooms. My room was changed within minutes.

The only reason that I would not give this location 5 stars is because there were microwaves on property. I am assuming this is because they want you to eat from their restaurants, but I wanted to heat a bag of popcorn.

The pools and outside lawn was beautiful and the meeting room locations were nice.

The hotel lobby us beautiful and the rooms are very nice. The beds are comfortable. There is a Starbucks in the lobby. Great hotel experience, would stay here again. I would recommend taking advantage of the spa at the Ritz Carlton next door.

The lazy River pool was amazing. The kids had a blast and the staff spent the evening helping everyone make smores at the fire pit. The room was comfortable and very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. Had some drinks at the bar and the bartender was excellent even made us some drinks we've never tried before. All in all a great experience and we will definitely be back.

Nice hotel just don't leave anything fragile in your luggage with the bell people. They broke pretty expensive laptop we brought for a conference. We sure told the gal to be careful with the lap top in the bag. When we got the bag back, we carried on as usual to the airport. We handled the bag carefully, never dropped it, but when we got to the airport, discovered that the screen was completely shuttered. We called hotel back the next day and sent them pictures. After two weeks of "investigation " they told us nobody dropped that bag, they asked everybody-- like any bell clerk would admit to it.
The lap top contained a lot of sensitive data that was highly needed and was mostly lost.
JW refused to take any responsibility. They are not accountable for anything. They are just another institution that is relying on its past reputation.

Several weeks back I booked four days away with my wife at the Grand Lakes location. As a Black Card Elite member that I pay for over 600.00 a year, I was figuring I would be model customer. We never deviate from the Marriott brand. Unfortunately one of my children had injured himself and not knowing if he was going to ok by travel date we canceled the trip. Fortunately everything turned out well and when I contacted Marriott back to re-reserve a room for the original travel date I was informed there was NO rooms left. Interesting how I was able to book online myself but the elite concierge HAD NO interest in booking or assisting me in any way. After being treated poorly I contacted the property directly only to be told yes we have a room but it s going to cost an additional seven hundred dollars. For 500 a night I automatically knew I was being taken advantage of. How can you completely disregard your devoted members is beyond me. So you can save your generic we are sorry responses.
HILTON will now be getting all of my future business.
