It was terrible. The food is not what it use to be. Menu has changed and we will not be going back. Too many other good restaurants around that won't charge the outrageous prices for what you don't get...

Whole place smells like happiness and baby lotion! I know the picture doesn t do it justice, but even in the dark it s a breathtaking view. During the day is even better!! Is there anything better than a Marriott?? And oh my I love how they have very peculiar trees at every location!

Very upscale conference center with all the desired amenities, but the place is gigantic! I mean, if you can call that a drawback. I went there just for a meeting during a tourism conference recently and got lost TWICE trying to find the meeting room - first in the parking lot due to bad signage, and second in the building because there were three different events going on simultaneously, again NO SIGNAGE. Can't really blame the venue, just food for thought.

Beautiful course, every fairway and putting green is so consistent. Every hole has it challenges and the layout is amazing! My only complaint would be they only had 1 beer cart going around that day and only saw her twice. Staff are very friendly and it was a first class treatment the whole day.

My family and I were sitting by the pool area waiting for our food to arrive. Our server Sean was very sorry and is currently making up to us the fact that it took so long for our food to arrive. YAY SEAN!

Lovely spaces. Although three are plenty of guests including convention attendees, families with children, and empty-nester couples like us, no areas of the pools, restaurants, or lounging areas seem crowded. We enjoyed the free use of their golf clubs and driving range each morning.

My host had suggested Roy's for lunch but was not open for lunch so we went to the Stonegrilll and me & host ordered the salmon salad. I have never been served a salmon salad with crumbles for $19 instead of a salad topped with a grilled filet, shame on your chef.

The employees were very friendly. They even waived the resort fee for us since it was our anniversary. (In fairness we were only there one night) The lazy river was very relaxing and the water was a lovely temperature. We dined at Stonegrill and the food was wonderful. The bison burger was exceptionally salty though. Everything else was great. The room was wonderful, very comfy bed, and luxurious bath tub. We hope to stay here again.

Every member of the staff was friendly, made eye contact and gave a friendly greeting when they passed. Lovely selection of flavored ice waters easily accessible through out the public areas. Even with a conference of more than 1000 people in attendance the experience was 5 star all the way! Every area was clean and well maintained. Even in the month of July this is a place I would stay again! Thank you!

Always enjoy staying at this hotel. Staff are always so friendly and courteous; always willing and eager to help. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Pool and patio areas are spacious.

The breakfast buffet is ridiculous, best Bacon I've ever had in my life. Omelette chef is making them fresh to your order. Seems like a small buffet at first but it has so many options. The bakery counter even has just muffin tops, wow, just wow. Fresh fruit is above and beyond, just all the way around a delectful place to eat. Friendly staff, a little pricey at $30 per person for the breakfast buffet but worth it for the quality of food and environment you get.

My wife and I stayed here last year for our 1 year anniversary and my birthday (both fall on the same day). Our concierge was Jayne and she made our experience amazing. It literally brought tears of joy to my wife's eyes. Jayne selected a fantastic room for us, left a letter and treats on the desk. We dined out several times during our stay at some of the best restaurants in the area (based on high cost and high reviews) such as the Persian Room but we actually enjoyed the restaurants inside the resort more! The food at the resort restaurants was great and the only way to get food closer would be to order room service. I just called Desert Ridge and asked if Jayne still works there and she does so my wife and I will soon be booking a room for our anniversary/my birthday there again this year (and maybe make a thing of it and stay there every year to come so long as Jayne is working there). I surprised my wife last year by telling her I needed another procedure up at the Veterans Affairs Hospital in Phoenix and that's why we were going north. Desert Ridge was great about sly phone call confirmations and talking in code when she was within earshot to keep the surprise a surprise. 5 stars for the resort, their restaurants but especially for Jayne the concierge (and if I could color in a 6th star for her I would do that too!).

Really great experience here at the resort. Top notch service, all the staff is very attentive. Rooms are very nice, although we were above the outdoor bar so it was noisy at night. Great location right of the 101 in North Phoenix.

A prime example of the JW Marriott guest experience. Attentive staff who care about their guests and who go the extra mile to make sure that your stay is great. Everyone I have interacted with, from the front desk to the servers to the managers, gave me their full and undivided attention and went out of their way to ensure that I had what I needed for an enjoyable stay. I stayed at the property as part of a large business conference, yet received personalized service whenever needed.I would definitely recommend this resort to my friends and famiky, and will endeavour to stay here again the next time I have the opportunity.

Beautiful grounds with equally impressive accommodations whilst maintaining a service standard like none other. Competing resorts in the area don't even come close to this J.W. Marriott @ Desert Ridge. A true class act.

Very nice property. Well appointed rooms. Be prepared to walk a lot. I love being able to use my streaming services on the TV since I travel for a living. All in all a great place to stay.

I attend numerous conferences and professional meetings in a year and so far the JW Marriot in Phoenix is at the top of my list. I was a presenter at a recent event held there and it was well organized and extremely well executed. Top notch staff and a very high quality establishment. Great place. I highly recommend it.

As with every JW Marriott, this place is impeccable in set up, service, amenities and choices. Because the place has such well kept vegetation with cacti and palms and flowering trees, there is an abundance of birds around. Very easy to spot hummingbirds, quails, and pigeons. I could hear owls but did not spot it. I saw a pair of javelinas on the property as well.

The restaurants and bars on the property are top notch. Views from the room balconies are breathtaking at all hours.

The place is primed to host large conferences and events as well.
