The hotel entrance and lobby are both impressive! We ate at the stonegrill, which is one of the restaurants on property. The food was alright, nothing special but in general the ambiance was very nice.

Very nice hotel. Came here for a work party. Food was amazing, fancy food. The conference room where the party was, was huge!!! And they could have opened it even more. This place is perfect for events that are hosting 500+ people.

Sumner at the front desk helped us find a new room when we had a noise concern with our current room. She was fast, efficient and most importantly... did it with a smile! She s awesome!

Both ladies very pleasant to speak with and very gracious in giving fans their autograph.

This is one of my favorite staycation places in Arizona. The JW Marriott is absolutely splendid with an amazing lazy River and two awesome pools. They also have activities for everyone. I have been here for my birthday three times, and everytime was fantastic! I would definitely recommend this to someone who wants to relax and enjoy the weekend.

We go at least once a year. We love it here. The entire staff is always friendly each time we're there. I think the rates were higher than usual but we needed the time off but I've never paid this much per night in the past. Also we didn't have hot water one morning. 1 hour turned into almost 5. Put a damper on plans for the day. We received a room upgrade due to being a platinum elite member but that's the only benefit there. The room had a beautiful view of the courtyard outside of the pool. We will continue to go back.

Love this place. Stay cations all the time here probably stayed 23+ times. Got a membership as well. Clean rooms, awesome pool, have never used the spa but friend did & they thought it was great. Location is great. Customer service sucks, have had really crappy customer services multiple times. The resort itself is the only thing that brings me back.

This place is first class from start to finish. First, we told the sweet girl, Jessa, at check in that we hadn't had a weekend alone without our children in years, and she put us in a beautiful room over looking the lake and golf course with a balcony, and later sent us a bottle of wine! So unexpected and appreciated! The grounds are immaculate and although we are locals, we felt as if we were on a tropical vacation with multiple pools, waterfalls, gorgeous greenery, palm trees, fire pits, lakes and stone walkways. We loved the lazy river, and although it was crazy crowded over Memorial Day weekend, we still managed to find two nice lounge chairs and enjoyed a few cocktails while we floated! Dinner at the Stone Grill was fabulous, and they accommodated our keto diet without hesitation (the bison burgers are to die for!!). Afterwards we enjoyed a glass of wine and listened to a great live band at the beautiful lakefront. As Silver Elite members, we had free access to the spa and exercise facilities, which were also amazing (sauna, steam room, his/hers relaxation areas and sunning areas, and of course treatment rooms) - and it has its own private, adults-only pool (and oversized hammocks!), which we enjoyed the second day sans kids. Beautiful and relaxing! We watched a family of hawks fly around and even saw a rare desert red cardinal... The room itself was spacious and the bed and linens were amazing - and the TV is at least a 65" Smart TV with Netflix, HBO, Crackle, etc. There is a small refrigerator and safe - and amazingly, there is an outlet INSIDE the safe so we could safely charge up our tablets while we were out of the room. Kids and kids-at-heart were entertained all weekend long with activities: corn hole, a large grassy area to play, s'mores at the fire pits, float-in movies, a water feature play area, game room, and the lazy river. This place has every amenity you can think of, and service was inedible on every level! This was by far one of the most relaxing and enjoyable weekends we've had anywhere, and we are both world travelers. With that said, you must like the feel and energy of a large resort to truly enjoy this place, but if that is your vibe, you will not be disappointed! We will be back!!!!!

Had breakfast there, carrot ginger detox shot was delicious. My only complaint is the booth we were seated in was way too high off the ground and uncomfortable. I'm 6 foot 3 and even I felt like I had to climb in like a toddler...

I was upgraded to a beautiful sweet for my trip. As a titanium elite member I like to give honest feedback and the JW Marriott desert ridge is one of the best JW is I have visited. I highly recommended. The restaurant has Greek food and the spawn has a complete fitness center to work out and keep yourself healthy during your trips. Feel free to ask me any questions

We visited the JW from hotel from westin canyon villas. We thought we had a great time, until i told my husband I thought I was itching from being in the sun. But I wasnt red, turns out ot swimmers ich from high anoounts of chlorine. My husband & I both broke out wih ichy bumps. I told my husband I seen unclean areas like that looked like mold , broken tiles by spa, etc. He too has the same symptoms. which I questioned. Filty place to visit, don't even stay there. Read the reviews that I did much to late.

I spend 150+ nights in hotels a year due to work. It's safe to say, I have my share of experience when measuring accommodations and customer service. This property went above and beyond to ensure our experience was perfect. For My wife's birthday this year she decided on a little staycation, this was her 3rd time at this property and the experience was nothing short of incredible. Thank you Marriott for creating a little magic right in our backyard. A quick overview, the pool and lazy river 5 stars, accommodations 5 stars, dinner at the restaurants 5 stars, customer service 5 stars, cleanliness of property 5 stars. Don't hesitate to stay here...
