Beautiful resort. Interesting new poolside amenities coming up.

A must stay for anyone who needs a get away. Rooms were great property was beautiful. Pools were perfect service from all employees was exquisite.

Terrible experience. Day of Thanksgiving day we check in and get screwed on our friends and family discount. I give picture identification for proof of employment. And because I don't have paper form printed out and with me.they won't honor it.they tell me my friend has to be with me.what kind of bullsh.t you should not have to go on vacation with your buddy to use discount....then to top it off the bedding are ridiculously small Minnie twins.are you joking me for 345 dollars a night. Room is smaller than a select suit hotel..realy need to step it up a notch overall very disappointed rather go to a holiday inn. Thanks for the great stay Mike amalfitano

The JW Marriot is a really beautiful resort. Staff was really friendly and helpful. Beautiful areas to walk and get exercise. Great shopping and great places to eat just down the street at Desert Ridge. It's pretty far from the airport, but it's a quick drive thanks to close proximity to the 101. All the good stuff in Scottsdale (Keirland, Old Town) and Glendale (sports arenas) are quick drives thanks to the 101 as well.

Amazing resort with well above average food, drink and conference facilities.

Great family resort surrounded by restaurants, shops, and many mountain trails for hiking or mountain biking.

Wow, what a 5 star resort. I've come here in the past to enjoy the great lobby area for drinks & always knew it's a great place but we booked a room for fathers day weekend on special $150/ night with a $50 credit to use on the property. The pool is awesome & the kids loved it. It's so big, they have a lazy river, slide, kid play area & several pools with tons of chairs. The service is great & they have these great tacos at the taco stand. They had free s'mores at night & lots of grass areas for the kids to play. Even a garden with real vegetables growing. I love this place.

We come here every year for a family reunion. There is always some activity or event the entire family can enjoy. We love the lazy river and the many pools. I particularly enjoy the live music on the weekends.

For a JW Marriott the service provided here was disappointing. Just a few examples - it took me 3 requests and 2 days to get my room serviced, a friend of mine was served brushers with cheese two evenings in a row in spite of her telling the server both times that she could not have dairy, and the front desk recommended the restaurant at the golf course to another friend, but when he walked out to it he found out it was closed for a private event that day
It's a very nice property. Unfortunately they seem to be having difficulty keeping up with the resultant demand.

Upon arrival, we were greeted by a friendly, and welcoming valet. We were then passed onto an awesome bell person, he loaded us up, took us inside and showed us where to check in, then escorted us to the room all the while letting us know what's where, as well as all the fun activities they have planned for kids and family. Pretty much all the staff were great, the only ones that weren't too pleasant were at the bar, Lon was making drinks walking back and forth multiple times while looking at us then just ignoring. Obviously we can see he was busy, but he could've said "someone will be with you soon" or something. No big deal, we got helped soon, that was the only negative, if at all. Even the young men at the entrance to the lazy river were super polite, fun, and helpful. As for the food, the kids had the taco bar, the tacos were ridiculous how good. We also had breakfast at the Stone Grill, we had great service, and the breakfast buffet, it had a huge selection of food, as well as a few specialities you could order, like Huevos Ranchero, and Eggs Benedict. They cooked my eggs perfect, was great food. My best experience was at the front desk, I was helped by Lizbeth, there was an issue due to me showing checked out, but I wasn't yet. She was very apologetic and made sure everything was taken above and beyond my expectations. Everything at the JW Marriott was a first class experience.

I loved everything about my stay at Desert Ridge. The beautiful natural cut wood and the lovely artifacts were amazing. The river float was so fun, all the people were so kind to each other (no problem carrying your own beer while floating either!) The staff were amazing. Rooms were perfect. The kids were having a great time in the adjoining room. The room service at 10pm was delicious and fast!
Perfect get away for whole family!

This is a lovely property and great for a little vacation get away. A couple of things. The channel in the rooms is horrible but you will definitely be able to stream your shows via Netflix thank goodness. the shower door is impeded by the toilet, so extra poor design related to that element. They do have a lot of things to do like the lazy river and other resort activities. Please have your Marriott rewards or you will still be paying for internet service in 2018. Parking on site is not included s be prepared to pay for that. Overall it is a nice property but be prepared to pay.

Was here for college graduation event. On outside looked nice but inside was a little rundown.

The Griffen Club is a wonderful option to consider when reserving a room. Breakfast, lunch, snacks, beverages, chef experience, and all the adult beverages you can consume in an exclusive club atmosphere.

I think this is such a great resort. Tucked away but yet accessible to plenty. The staff from the valet to bartenders to concierge are always on point and beyond friendly and accommodating. I always suggest this resort to anyone coming to visit.

Great place for an adult weekend away or a family vacation! Had an amazing staycation with some girlfriends. Food is a bit pricey at the resturants and bar.

I was over there for 3 days and had a great experience.

Went there for a work convention a good number of my coworkers ended up with bed bugs

Was there for my wife's company Christmas party. It's a great place to have a conference or event, such as which we had. Very clean and festive during this time of year!

Steyex here for a conf. It was a reallg nice change from the place we were going to stay bug it got floided

Rented a car here from Hertz to go to Sedona. I was not impressed with them. They misguided me about how much transportation would cost from the airport to the hotel because they don't have a shuttle to pick you up. It is a $60 ride one way.

Staff was all smiles and extremely professional. Clean beautiful property but i did find 2 live baby spiders & 2 dead roaches. Food in the restaurants was great too. Otherwise awesome. I'll be back.

I've been coming to this one for many years now.. Have to say it does some of the biggest conventions and corporate meetings I've ever seen. Many very famous people and inspiring people have lectured in these halls and walk thru this place. Very awesome water park.. Golf course,.. but I enjoy the little outdoor areas with seasonal little rabbits around the property the most... besides the hottub.

Very nice but parking and access to the Internet is expensive.

I'm not sure how old this place is and that's a good thing... it's impressive with good amenities, restaurants, activities, and more. The staff seemed a little green in some places but it didn't hamper my experience. I'd come back.

I've been at this Marriott property in the past. So, it was with great amazement the kind of attitude I received on the phone yesterday when checking pricing by a customer service representative named Sharon. I only checked this property because of it's location, very near the Dave & Buster's our company is having and end-of-fiscal-year party at.
Upon asking her the cheapest rate and then asking if there was anything cheaper, this woman actually had the gall to laugh at me. Like I was some kind of low-life scumbag not worthy of her time or attention. When I pressed her about why she had laughed, she then became argumentative.

I did contact corporate and filed a complaint about this individual, as the name Marriott and hotels usually bring the idea of excellence, professionalism and very nice properties to mind.

Went for a staycation last night. It was fantastic. Late night drinks at the pool, great room and fantastic service.

One of the best located resorts. Little traffic to allow easy merging onto freeway via 56th St. Shops and food venues. Dave and Buster's. Nice area. No bums or loiterers. I'm just sayin! Lol

Came by for a wonderful lunch. As before, the innovative menu Rose to the task. This is one restaurant where taking suggestions from your waiter works out very well

The resort was beautiful with fantastic accommodations and amenities (golf, tennis, pickle ball, spa, etc.) Great location close to shopping and dining with shuttle service from the resort. Rooms had beautiful views. The bed was very comfortable. There is a nice lounge bar right off the lobby and there are a variety of dining options with different cuisines. In the courtyard, there are numerous seating areas with couches, lounge chairs and fire pits with live music out there at night. There are also a number of pools, a lazy river and hot tub with food/drink service. (The service tended to be a bit slow but the staff was very pleasant.) We we're highly satisfied and plan to return with our children for another visit.

I loved this place because it felt welcoming and again, the people we're very helpful and the grounds are beautiful!

This place is a five star all the way awesome service, staff always smiling rooms are spacious and and big tv. scenery all a plus, one of my favorite places so far and definitely will be back! I definitely recommend. food is great as well,as live entertainment,lazy river was wonderfulo. so many things not enough time to list.

We had dinner at Roy's and the service was great. We really enjoyed the chocolate souffle.

Great overall experience! The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, great food at their restaurant, Stonegrill and great prices. The grounds are kept in immaculate shape and also has the best gym I've ever seen at a resort such as this. Can't wait to stay again!

Beautiful property, outstanding service and helpful staff. The location is slightly isolated from the noise and traffic of the city, but still close enough to be right next to the action. Highly recommended for a weekend stay or business conference.

Great vast environment designed to be fairly enclosed

Rooms are clean and upscale. The staff is fantastic! There are so many great attractions at the hotel. My favorite is the botanical garden which features amazing succulents and cacti.

The food (green chile enchiladas) were good and priced at $16.00. However, they should have included the choice of a side such as Spanish rice or a side salad. The service was prompt and efficient.

Beautiful Setting. Business visit but it was relaxing all the same.

Haven't had a chance to stay over night here, but I did come to taste food for my best friends wedding. The staff were super friendly, the presentation of all the dishes, settings were impressive. Food was delicious and wish I could eat it all. I will definitely stay for the wedding and look forward to it.

Had the BESTEST time listening to the Margaritavillains on the patio!

It is such a great venue for golfing & swimming. Its like going to Hawaii without leaving the state of Arizona!
