Very professional staff and clean. Close to a mall in walking distance and a movie theater. Good food and the spa was very relaxing. Would definitely come back for a weekend vacation with my daughter.

I have been here for several occasions, from wedding to meetings. The grounds are beautiful, the staff is friendly and the breakfast buffet is a thing of beauty. I've had several meetings here simply as an excuse to eat there.

The resort is amazing and the grounds are very well maintained and beautiful! Rooms are very clean and beds are comfortable. Great place for both a work event as well as vacation with the family.

The staff, room, conference center, lobby experience, price, Carmen at the front desk, parking attendees, hotel exterior, landscaping, overall experience of the JW Marriott Phoenix Desert Ridge Resort & Spa was above expectations and have made me a Bonvoy fan for LIFE!

This place is a sprawling campus with tons of amenities including multiple pools, tennis courts, pickleball courts, classes, restaurants, and bars. It's definitely more family oriented so it gets pretty quiet at night and during the day the pools were packed. Probably wouldn't stay here again as there were too many kids but for a family this is probably great.

Oh my Goodness! This is the best restaurant I have visited in the Greater Phoenix area! Roy's in the Desert Ridge Marriott had the best food I have ever tasted. We love the service, the atmosphere, and the excellent food!

I stayed over in the Villas, but was at the JW all week for a conference. All of the support staff was friendly and helpful. The conference meals and break refreshments were well done and organized. My one little complaint is Lounge 26 was not staffed to accommodate the lunch or after conference crowds. Other than that my experience was great from start to finish.

Great

I haven't stayed in the hotel, but I use the pools and have walked through the hotel many times. My party is larger so we stay at the Villas across the way. The JW is very upscale and one of the nicest hotels I have ever been to. The guys at the doors are super friendly as is everyone I have talked to.

This is an amazing resort with multiple pools and a lazy river. they have one of the best golf courses in the entire Phx & Scottsdale. Kids will love this place. Though it gets very costly in winters but in summers you can grab it for $150. Only negative is their limited food options for in room dining.

As soon as I walked in the door I was greeted for friendly by the front desk lady. They helped me with my bags and got me checked in very quick. The room was gorgeous and I had a fantastic time at my stay.

This is my second time here. It's beautiful and has a super nice staff, inclusive of everyone. One of my favorite places to go. Running paths, close restaurants and shopping, pool, spa...anything you could want.

Stayed in a beautiful ADA accessible room. The staff were extremely helpful and kind, and the building itself is very nice. Good water pressure in the shower, with clean bathrooms and the available soap shampoo and such were actually of high-quality. I slept well on a comfortable mattress. I would recommend this place to anyone staying in the area. The on-site restaurants and stores are a great addition, getting overnight guests the option of staying within walking distance for all their needs if they had no desire to travel into Phoenix. I can't wait to visit again!

Very clean and professional. This is an amazing place, with lots of activity options. The lazy river is great, and the resort is located right next to a large shopping center. The only down side is that you will rarely ever be alone, since there is a large number of people at all times so this is worth noting if you're an introvert looking for a getaway.

Can t possibly give more than 3 stars. Hotel is dated. In the room there is no mini bar, fridge, coffee, tea etc. How can a hotel claim to be 5 star when either 1) they don t even trust the guest clientele with a mini bar or 2) they are so large they can t manage the overheads or administering it. Either way - this is definitely not a hotel to come to for a holiday or personal trip. Business conference perhaps - all indications is that is what the main audience is.

From the club to the doorman, and the front desk to the housekeeping staff - we had amazing interactions with each employee during our stay...
