JW Marriott at Lenox Review

Close to shopping centers but the service is rather slow.

We visited the JW Marriott for my daughter's seventeenth birthday. We had an exceptional time! My experience here was one of the best stays in a hotel. The staff and everyone was extremely nice and went beyond to make my daughter's night a memorable one! The room was very nice and spacious!! I will be staying here again and look forward to it!!!

When visiting Atlanta for work, my check out date were confused checking me out a day earlier than planned. The manager Chantell was able to quell my worries, give me full transparency into the mistake, and adjust my reservation so I didn't even have to switch rooms. I appreciate the great service especially when being so far away from home.

This is one of the best hotel you can imagine, great staff, super amenities.

What a beautiful hotel! The view of Downtown Atlanta from our room was great too. The people were so friendly and welcoming. The breakfast buffet was a bit overpriced for what it was, but the mall is just next door with lots of options for dining throughout the day. We would recommend this location and will be back in the future.

This is an amazing hotel. Very friendly staff, great area, and love the fact that it is connected to Lenox mall.

I spent much time at this hotel for work over the course of a few days, and it was wonderful. I especially loved the guys at the valet service - all of them were wonderful, hilarious, and very warm.

Love this hotel! Within walking distance of Lenox Mall and all the nice restaurants in Buckhead! Parking sucks as with anything in Atlanta. Valet is your best option, it's only $10 more than self parking. It's pricey but it's nice!

Jw Marriott is the most amazing place to stay of any hotel

This is one of Atlanta is Premier hotels when you come to Atlanta you must stay at the JW Marriott awesome

Meeting areas and common areas are outdated, waited 10 mins for valet and ended up self parking after no one showed up

I was here for a wedding after party. The bar and seating area were nice. Parking is too expensive

Nice rooms, great fitness area... far beyond the usual hotel offerings. But the staff are exceptional! Mr. Paul Martinez at the valet stand keeps them all hoping in a positive way. Hannah at the evening concierge treats all her guests like family. This is the ONLY place I stay in Atlanta after discovering them.

Excellent location. Extremely helpful staff. Prompt service. Good concierge lounge. Walking distance from two malls. One is attsched via building structure. The other one is a quick walk across the street. Plenty of food options in the attached mall. Food locations vary from fast food to sit down restaraunts. Near by mall has Lego land, AMC and more foof options. Great location, staff, services, and abything else you could ask for. High speed internet worked great and was free for marriot rewards members. Tvs do not allow HDMI input with the television but thats my only real complaint.

Very clean and friendly people. The only complaint was the clogged shower drain.

Nice hotel with great rates. I liked that if was attached to the mall for convenience. Service was pleasant, room was spacious and clean. The beds were comfortable but a little firm.

Service was impressive to say the least. The meeting rooms were the nicest I've been to in the Atlanta area. Oh, and there pastries were top notch

I was here for a conference. Everything was set up nicely and easy to maneuver.

Staff are friendly in general. Lenox mall is an addition to its convenient location. Stayed for 4 nighta and Cleaning and room service is good. Wifi is not free. Had brkfst at Nox 2nd floor. It was good experience.

My only concern is at the hotel is right next to a different Marriott Hotel and because of that, I initially showed up at the wrong Hotel

Great staff. Very friendly and personable. Great fitness center, very good but very expensive breakfast and everything at the lounge is good but very overpriced. The room was very nice with a comfortable bed and great water pressure in the shower.

Stayed for the view and was not disappointed, great view of the skyline and convinent location.

I am a frequent business traveler and have spent 3 nights/week here for about 1 year. The JW Marriott is one of my favorite Buckhead hotels. The manager, Michael, is FANTASTIC! He is a dream and I love seeing him every afternoon when I return. The hotel and lounge staff is friendly. I have also never experienced such as great valet service. I love the JW because of the people. I don't love the JW because of the inconsistent service and room quality as well as the horrible food.

Overall great hotel, but a little underwhelmed by the rooms. They feel pretty generic in comparison to other JW Marriotts I've stayed at.

Beautiful hotel in wonderful location. Lenox mall connects and lots of good restaurants are close. You are in the best of Atlanta here. The customer service is wonderful...you will feel appreciated and pampered. Rooms are well appointed and the bathrooms are posh with robes and luxury towels and supplies. The only negative is the cost of valet parking your car. $32 per day....to park it next door in the Lenox deck...that is just wrong.

My wife and I stayed here for our wedding night. The room was clean and we had everything we needed. The customer service was amazing. I will definitely will stay here again. I did not want to leave to got to my honeymoon, that how nice the hotel was. Thank you to the Concierge agent for providing me with all that I asked for to surprise my wife. She loved the roses and chocolate.Thank you all. You are the BEST!.

My family and I (Me, Husband, Mother and 2 teenage children) rented 2 rooms here from the 10th of July till the 13th. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the JW Marriot!!! The accommodations were simply fabulous. We particularly enjoyed the fruited water in the Lobby, the property was in very good condition, clean and modern. Indeed it was the service that took this property to the next level. Bruce in concierge consistently went over and above the call of his duties with the utmost grace! Felix, the driver, Rory, also in concierge, as well as John and (I believe) Michael, also drivers, were most gracious and knowledgeable. Thank you for a fabulous stay and we surely will return here and will check out other JW Marriott properties in our travels.

On another note, the Hertz agents were awful! Neither Cecilia nor the other agent followed through and we were very lucky to have Bruce to assist as he did not stop until he got us sorted! Hooray Bruce!!

Other than the Hertz agents, your hotel provided a delectable serving of the southern hospitality your state is known for!

Not the best JW Marriott, pretty standard. Lackluster gym, decent concierge lounge but nothing special.

Went to attend a wedding. Staff was very helpful, everything looked great!

Great place for a conference, but really only 1 mens room? 5 toilets for all the guys in all of your banquet and Meeting rooms? Odd. But a great place, nice architecture,great customer service, beautiful location.

This is a generally nice facility. The bathroom was exceptionally clean. My daughter reports the pool was far too cold to swim in. Lots of confusion as if to whether we ordered room service or how many times to charge us for parking but it was all resolved quickly and pretty painlessly.

Great bar, beautiful rooms and lobby. Guest service was very helpful!

JW Marriott's location is excellent, steps away from the subway with direct access to the airport in 20 min. The facilities are clean, professional looking and well-kept. The service could use some help. Rooms are amazingly comfortable but, there is no free WiFi in the rooms. The hotel is also immediately attached to a mall and so, is accessible to shopping and dining.

You are better off staying at the regular Marriott across the street. You'd expect the J.W Marriot to be more luxurious, but really it just has a nicer lobby. The room was not very nice. Experience with the staff was mixed, I had one nice interaction, but all others have been poor. I just called to get a copy of my bill forwarded to my email and spoke with someone who doesn't seem to know much about customer service.

If you prefer luxury accommodations, this is NOT the hotel for you. I did not feel safe with my wife and children here and the actual hotel accommodations were comparable to a Holiday Inn. If summed up in one word, Ghetto would perfectly describe our perception of this hotel.

Upon arrival, the head of Valet opened my door and began a street hustle approach to convince me to park valet instead of paying the hotel for self parking. This was the red flag that showed the type of establishment JW Marriot Buckhead has become. Pot smoke was prevalent in elevators, bathrooms, and various other areas, as if it were a normal thing here. No security guards, doors left unlocked and all the questionable individuals outside the hotel were free to roam anywhere inside the hotel they desired. Management seemed to be unable to control anything within the establishment, even down to the simplest task of changing our bed sheet. It literally took 1 hour to simply bring a sheet to our bedroom! They had placed a twin sized sheet on a double bed which did not reach the 2 outer edges of our bed. Obviously a small simple task but just an example of the many things experienced during our short stay. Outdated rooms, low end bedding and pillows, and truly comparable to a lesser brand named hotel, but priced as if it were a luxury establishment. The valet staff had no concerns with asking guests for tips, and overall the staff was not to a level of professionalism you would expect from a JW Marriot branded facility.

Checking in as a couple and being asked if we are splitting our costs was a bit odd question I was never asked before in my life.
Hotel decoration dated. Looks like all done back in the 80s.
Having the weirdest room setting with TV on one side of the room you need to twist the neck to watch it. And that's not all- had to move the heavy lamp to the floor to be able to watch TV in the first place.
The bed mattress is so soft that I woke up with a terrible backache and cried through the night in pain.
Extremely long and also too soft pillows didn't help.
The tap in the bathroom in a strangle twisted angle.
Shower doors opening and broken hinge.
One night sleep was endless.
Should read the reviews prior to booking.
Although, location in superb as connected to Lenox shopping mall I loved.

My favorite part of my trip was coming back to the hotel. I was greeted by amazingly kind and wonderful folks. Especially Parris, Christian and Justin I will actually miss their faces Thank you for making my week in Atlanta special. YOU GUYS ROCK!

Rooms are large and beautiful with great views. Comfortable beds.

I arrived early for my stay at the JW Marriott in Buckhead and I was promptly greeted at the door. Surprisingly my room was ready and it was very nice. The bathroom had everything I needed in case I forgot something and they gave me 2 complimentary bottles of water.

I was impressed with the attentive nature of the staff, and the views of the city. However, the $30/day parking fee is absolutely ridiculous. Would have given it 5 stars otherwise.

Located at the heart of Buckhead! Mall is pretty much attached to hotel and plenty of restaurants. Hotel service is top notch and I always stay here when I'm in Georgia. Self parking is avaliable for a fee and there's complimentary shuttle (large black SUV) within 2 miles. Rooms are nice but the bathroom is just a bit dated. Overall, highly recommend!

Great location. You don't even have to leave the building to go to the mall. If you don't have a car, a train station is a 2 minute walk away that gives you access to Atlanta.
