JW Marriott at Lenox Reviews

As nice as any other JW in the country. However, it's clear that Marriot has put no effort into differentiating the rooms at a JW from from a regular Marriot. The common areas are significantly upgraded at a JW from out Marriots, as is the service, and that's awesome. But as soon as you get into your room, there's no difference btw the JW in Atlanta and the Marriot in Alpharetta or anywhere else. But I digress. Stayed for our 5 year anniversary. Pleasant staff and clean rooms. Concierge helped me surprise my wife by setting up the room while we were out on the town. A+

Superb service at the JW Marriott Atlanta Buckhead! It is a beautiful hotel with spacious rooms and very comfortable beds. The indoor pool is the perfect way to cool off during these hot summer days! We initially were only staying one night and ended up extending our reservation. I would definitely stay here again.

I attended a jazz concert in one of the ball rooms. It was very spacious and very accommodating. Will definitely be back.

Room was Excellent. I stayed on 22nd Fl absolutely NOTHING to complain about. Front desk was attentive to my needs (and yes I had a few) Valet Excellent.

Great place to stay if you are working in the area. Train station right at the corner.

I was at the facility for a conference so I got to see a lot of it. The conference rooms were nice and the staff took very good care of us. The room itself was fine but not worth the cost, which is why I gave three stars.

Great hotel , I think that the pool is majestic and the rooms are great , and the hot tub is decorated great . Fabulous . The lounge has great hors d'oeuvres and snacks , including pretzels , crackers , cheeses , coffee etc . The hot chocolate was very flavourful too. Some workers in the lounge could be a bit nicer though , but still pretty cool staying here .

This Hotel is absolutely amazing! The hotel is beautiful. The staff is outstanding. After many stays at many hotels in Atlanta, this was the absolute best! I can't wait to return.

Although the rooms are a bit outdated the service was superb. Clean hotel that is close to restaurants and connected to the mall. Very easy to get in and out of. The hotel Knox restaurant was pretty decent kids also ordered ice cream for dessert and I've never seen this much given to children! They loved absolutely loved it.

Beautiful hotel. Seen and stayed in the rooms before but today decided to leave a positive 5 star review after attending Abraham Hicks s workshop visiting Atlanta GA. Amazing... first one I've been too and loved the workshop and the conference room the JW Marriott Hotel rented to her for it!

It had a really nice gym witch is always important. I enjoyed the fridge in the room. The breakfast buffet was way too expensive for what they had....

The room was clean and everyone I interacted with was courteous. I was here for a conference, and I was charged more than the conference rate per night. I told them at checkout about it, and they came up with a bunch excuses - we only had a limited number of rooms at that rate (this information was not displayed when I reserved the room more than 6 weeks in advance). Also, I reserved a deluxe room - since that was the only room available, I thought they called all their rooms "deluxe" - it's an upscale hotel, after all. I noticed the difference between the conference rate and the rate at which I reserved the room, and I thought it was just the tax. The tax was added on my last day of stay, on top of the overcharge I didn't expect to pay (17% more than the conference rate). After about 10 minutes of me explaining my side of the story during checkout, the lady at the counter went away, and when she came back she said she can refund 1/3 of the difference. While she was doing stuff on the computer, I realized I had been standing at the check-out counter for 15 minutes, I had a meeting to go to, so I declined the refund because it was taking way too long. Other than asking Marriott to be more transparent with their pricing practices, it was alright.

(Maybe this is normal, but the maid asked me several times a day if I needed anything - I found it excessive. I realize this is personal preference and I don't want it to be interpreted negatively, but if anyone is wondering whether the maid was helpful and courteous with the customers, she was.)

Bruce at concierge is the bomb! We tried to book online a table at our favorite restaurant Hal's steakhouse and they were full. Bruce called for us and they told him no that they were too full. We told him we would take our chances and go to the bar in Hope's to get in. Bruce called a second time and ask for a certain person and they got us in! It was awesome!

Clean, excellent service. A few steps from Marta and Lenox Mall

Attended for a company event. Clean rooms, all amenities- hair dryer, iron and ironing board, toiletries, more than enough towels and hangers (for 1). Bed was wonderfully firm. Heat adjustable in the room. Ballroom/conference rooms a wee bit chilly- never fell asleep(good content too- for our business). Food was delicious for breakfast, boxed and a hot lunch, hot dinner and deserts did not disappoint. Great presentation of food for large event for 150. Staff was fantastic!! Front desk, valet, assistants at front desk, super personable, helpful, pleasant- top notch staff!!!

From the time I checked into the hotel I was treated very well. I felt like the guy who checked me in and the concierge woman went out of their way to make sure me and my family had an amazing stay. I will definitely stay here again.

What a fantastic stay! The bartenders were fabulous, the concierge was informative, the gym was amazing for a hotel gym, and the pool was a wonderful experience. I'd most certainly stay here again.

Comfortable, high end, with a friendly staff willing to do whatever you need to keep you safe and comfortable. One of the attendants went out of his way to make sure my Lyft came to get me from the front entrance when my phone died. They also made sure to deliver coffee to my room when I had a long night of work ahead of me.

Staff is friendly and attentive. Hotel is right off the MARTA.

Located in the beautiful area of Buckhead the location was incredibly conveniently located next to the Marta station for easy access to the airport. Great location for a professional event.

Wasn t impressed! Came in town around 11pm, after a 14 hr. Drive looking for a little luxury to relax in.
Stopped in after calling and confirm a price for the night, told them I was 15 minutes away....upon arrival, I was told they could not honor the price given over the phone, the night staff was rude and did not care about helping me with a room.

I left and went to The Whitley down the street and enjoyed the night.

Great location for public transportation and service at hotel

Nice hotel room and a great rate. Buckhead is a great part of town and the hotel is connected to the mall. Tons of shopping, restaurants, and coffee shop ppl a nearby. The place is easy to find and only about twenty-five minutes from the airport. Staff was friendly, bed was comfortable, and the Nox Restaurant is delicious (though a bit pricey).

While it is a nice hotel, the construction going on did not make it a very pleasant stay. The connection to the mall is a big plus and the free trail mix was also a good touch. Receptionists, waiters and concierge were all professional as well. Hopefully, next time we stay, construction will be done.

Interesting hotel...seemed very concerned with tracking the money more than real customer service.

Great event space, wondeful and friendly staff.....a staff member kindly offered to escort us to a less crowded restroom when the main restroom was crowed during our event break and that made our experience so much more enjoyable. The vallet service was good at arrival and of course congested with a bit of a wait at the time the event was over, but all was wonderful. Very pleased and would easily return again.

Very high class but doesn't do things like cleaning your room and have wifi like a lot of other hotels do

We stayed here a year ago as well. Great location, and overall nice facility. Staff is friendly and helpful. The room is a bit dated. The shower stall was supper small, and the shower head leaked quite a bit. Our room was on the end, so it is big, but the layout is odd. The TV is positioned diagonal from the bed, such that one might develop a crick in ones neck. There are lots of power outlets to plug in devices, but no USB outlets like you see in most updated hotel rooms.

This hotel is attached to the Lenox Mall, so it is a great location if you want to shop, eat out, or just get some steps in. Across the street is Phillips Plaza, so more shopping and a large movie theater. Also lots of restaurants around the area.
