Gorgeous! Location literally in the heart of buckhead connected to the famous lenox mall
Walking distance from restaurants like Houston's and cheesecake factory. The rooms aren't huge but spacious enough to be comfortable. Has classic feel which I really like.

We stayed with our three kids. The facilities and amenities were great. It was easy to get to, and attached to a mall, so we were able to walk to dinner. The indoor pool was huge and great for our kids to get some energy out after a day of driving in the car. The only downside was all their two-bed rooms were doubles. We were a bit uncomfortable fitting all 5 of us for a comfortable night's sleep. Otherwise, we were very pleased!
Food was good. Room very nice. They are doing some construction right now. Check in is at 4:00pm. That s too late for me!!!

Location was great. I actually parked in the mall parking deck, and used the little indoor shortcut over to the hotel! The servers that were handling the food service were very kind and displayed great manners.
This is by far my favorite hotel. It is in a great location and the staff are the best around. Excellent dining and shopping options all around. It's also attached to the mall which makes it easy to walk around even in inclement weather.

Love this hotel. Most recently was for a business conference. Great hotel and service staff. Parking is very easy. One of 3 hotels in Buckhead that we always look to stay at. Wife loves that it's connected to Lenox. Also close to Marta if going to a bowl game. Highly recommended.
Amazing place to stay. Christian the manager goes above and beyond. Our room had been booked as a king and he was able to accommodate us with a double and when we were looking for a place for dinner he made several recommendations, of which they ended up being awesome. Just thought it was over priced for the room and the shower went cold kinda fast . Also they charge $32 a night for self parking in their garage .

Came for a business conference. Everything about the hotel was great. Friendly staff, quiet and clean rooms, and the food services were all excellent.

I was not here for business, so I didn't see any of the meeting venues, which seem to be the primary focus for the hotel. Having said that, we enjoyed our stay. The rooms were good for the price point, but the service was really outstanding. The people who work here were all very professional, on the ball, and friendly without being obsequious, like you would expect from a first-class hotel.
The good: The Room was really nice. Hotel was top notch. Staff was really nice. The bad: Room was already expensive which was expected but there is an up-charge for every little thing (example - $7 bottle of water sitting on the counter in the room...) Absolutely nothing was complimentary.
My room was robbed by the cleaning staff. My daughter had earrings and necklaces hidden inside her suitcase and cleaning staff ransacked her suitcase and stole her belongings. Security verified only people came into the hotel room was the cleaning lady. I have filed a police report and filed a hotel security report. Do not leave anything valuable in the hotel room!!!
Disappointed! My husband and I stayed here for our wedding night (as well as reserve a block of rooms), and our room smelt so musty. Unfortunately they were at capacity and didn't have any other suites available, so we had someone spray the carpet/room. It helped a bit but didn't remove the smell. It definitely put a damper on our wedding night. Also, we noticed no dresser or chest in the room. There was only a closet to store clothes. I ended up keeping most of my things in my suitcase. Then, when we left the next morning, we noticed a dent on the driver's side door when the valet brought it to the front. My husband pointed it out to the valet guy and his response was, "It's an old car." Like it didn't matter. Seriously?? On top of that being irrelevant, it was an extremely rude comment. He was then reluctant to help us file a report about it, like he couldn't be bothered. The only reason I'm giving them 2 stars is for the great customer service from the front desk. The staff (aside from that valet attendant) were very friendly. For the price and location we really expected more.
I had an excellent experience at this hotel! I stayed there for my birthday and upon learning that it was my birthday the staff immediately searched to see if there were any upgrades they could give me for the occasion. Unfortunately, because a wedding party had booked the same weekend there were no upgrades available but later that night when I returned to my room from dinner (which they provided a complimentary car service to and from!) they'd left a bottle of champagne, a nice fruit and cheese board and a birthday card signed by the staff and manager for me. Such a thoughtful touch.
The bar makes a delicious mojito, the restaurant makes a beautiful creme brulee and I was even given a complimentary late check out the next morning "just because". I can't sing the staff's praises enough!

Do Not do business with this Hotel! 6 year Platinum Member. Promised Refund for 2 rooms they charged me for in error. Refund never came. Over 2 hours on hold and numerous calls to resolve. Lots of promises, never refunded. Very unethical, never had such a poor experience. Avoid this Property and these People
The JW Marriott in Buckhead is a very nice stay. It's located directly next to Lenox Square Mall, very convenient. At the front desk they offered us a free roll away bed when they saw that we were traveling in a group of 4. They were also able to give us a room on a higher floor that had a great view of Atlanta. The pool, lobby, and fitness center are all very nice.
I just used the Hertz rental service and the lobby. The lobby is nice and plenty of seating for private conversations.
The service was wonderful and thorough, as they let me know what times a wedding reception would be held and when the var would be busy. The room was very nice and he room service was very fast and delicious. I would stay there again!
The concierge was excellent, but, the hotel was OK and I heard the five words you never want to hear when picking up your car from a valet: "your car is really fast!"
Ultimate Buckhead event location. Attended the 2018 Atlanta Pride Grand Marshall's Reception there last week. I have attended multiple other events there. The JW Marriott makes me smile every time I go there.
The rooms are spacious and the staffs are unbelievable. The go to the extreme to make you comfortable.
I was very disappointed with this company I had to call them twice because they over charge my account for a one night stay. Anyone that go to this Marriott make sure you check your account. I will not go back.
Room were clean and spacious. Lots of electric outlets for charging. Have to pay for wifi in room. Friendly and helpful staff. Lots of space downstairs to find a quiet space to work. Next to a mall.
The staff was so kind and the service was amazing. The room was perfect with a beautiful terrace and the bed was so comfortable. I would highly recommend to anyone.

An awesome location in the Buckhead area, about a half a mile from Phipps Plaza. It is connected to Lenox Mall, so there are plenty of options for shopping and dining at the food court. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. There is a bar downstairs and also a really nice cafe on the second floor.

GREAT hotel stay! Only there one night but really enjoyed it. It connects to Lenox mall so it is perfect for guests that are out of town and want easy access to everything. Also really close to the Marta!
Location is perfect with quick access to the mall and transportation. Very friendly staff and superb indoor pool. I will stay here anytime I come to Atlanta.
It's not the newest JW Marriott, and its age and older design show. It's also laid out in a very compact design and as such it feels somewhat constrained. What it does have going for it is a great location in the heart of Buckhead, literally attached to Lenox Square Mall but makes you wonder why they charge for parking when the shopping center parking is attached and completely free.

First room had a faulty AC (I could smell compressor oil) but they moved us to a new room. There was a note that they were working on fixing HVAC so it wasn't completely unexpected. The new room smelled like air freshener bit that smell eventually went away. Other than that initial problem, I enjoyed the rest of my stay there.
If I could give less than 1 star I would. If you re planning on traveling to this area DO NOT (i repeat do not) stay at this property. As a longtime Marriott member I cannot believe the poor service given at this property - especially the JW. Everyone from the management staff to the front desk agents made this the worst Marriott experience in my whole life. The management will be combative when you tell them about an issue and will not provide any solution; rather rant to you without letting you get a word in.
Seriously, the employees here need to be retrained on conflict resolution and basic customer service skills.
