Smoothest install I have ever had. Needed carpet in my guest bath and the process was quick and easy. The installer was very skilled and polite - no complaints.

Worst experience. Unprofessional. I ordered my carpet through Home Depot and JW Floor Covering was scheduled to do the installation. They sent several guidelines for having the rooms ready for the install. We followed every one of them. It was part of the contract that they would move furniture. The email they send ahead of time is clear about what they won't move - waterbeds, sleep number beds, grandfather clocks etc. When they arrived there was a couch in the room that they refused to move because there is an electric button that puts the leg rest up. They said they don't move those kinds of couches. I showed them the email I had received that has no indication that would be the case. They refused to do the install and left. Home Depot was no help. I am now paying someone else to do my installation and will no longer purchase carpet from Home Depot or use JW Flooring.

Have used them for a few properties now and have good experiences. These installers are hard working guys!

I have used JW on multiple occasions and they have Always done Wonderful work! The installer calls before arrival letting me know what time they are going to arrive.

I am a former owner of a flooring installation company, retired.
My wife and I have bought a house in Menifee that required about a thousand feet of new flooring upstairs. We went to Home Depot, found an adequate flooring, and set up a schedule. JW Floor Covering called a short time later to set an appointment for a measure, and all of the regular stuff. Good job, everything so far is butter.
When the day finally arrived for installation, our two installers showed up and began a flurry of activity! They worked hard and fast and were very polite! They explained every process throughout the install and did what send to be a perfect job.
Two days.
Two days is all it took to complete it all- carpet removal and laminate installation, including quarter round (which was also PERFECT) in four rooms.
We are thankful we got JW Floors and will use them again in the future.

Review #1 - I've been waiting for 2 months for carpet installation. I got a text confirmation that installers would arrive between 11-1pm the next day as previously scheduled. Great, I took a day off from work. At 8:30 this morning i got a call from JW flooring cancelling my installation for today. and they want to offer me a $25 gift card (from Home Depot??). Needless to say I am fuming!!

We went though Home Depot and this is preferred servicer. Paying upwards of $10k for new flooring in our 972sqft townhome was astronomical to begin with but to top it off, the work was mediocre with many things needing to be repaired or completed by a completely 3rd-party source. After the work was done, they said they needed additional funds and asked us to sign a blank piece of paper to verify the work being done. SCAM!! For the cherry on top, it took nearly 2.5 months for them to complete the work and the utter lack of communication during the process was horrific. Take your business (and your money) somewhere else!

JW flooring should be handling discrepancies directly with Home Depot since I ordered and paid for tbe flooring order directly through Home Depot Encinitas.

They failed to get the right measurements, not once but twice, so twice I have to wait for more material and I m almost 2 months into the project of swapping out sleeping area carpet to laminate and there s still area of the house not done, but they manage to pull the carpet out and just left it like that? I would never recommend this company.

I had carpet installed today that I bought through Home Depot. Jesus was the installer. He arrived close to 10am and was finished around 3pm. He was totally dedicated to the job, worked quickly and efficiently, and cleaned up so nice after each phase. He is so strong, I can't believe how he moved the furniture I had all by himself. I am so pleased, it looks beautiful. I also want to say that Julio at J W Floor Covering was the go to person. He made a call today to see how the job was going and to see if I was pleased. Julio is such a pleasant person. Thank you for great service.

JW exhibited very poor management (the right hand didn't know what the left hand was doing). I hired JW to replace carpeting. I sent a representative in my place to oversee installation on the day of, since I could not physically be there that day. The company/Julio told the installers one time slot (10-12 pm) and told my rep and me another time slot (8-10am). No one showed up during either timeslot. In fact, the installers showed up close to 2 pm.

In the meantime, my rep had to chase them around in a very stressful way. Office staff attitude was careless and unprofessional. The manager, Victoria, exhibited the worst attitude. They resorted to excuses instead of just acknowledging the mistake and apologizing.

The job itself was simple and completed in less than 2 hours; however, my rep was kept waiting for the arrival of installers for 6 hours. I definitely would not recommend J&W to anybody at all. We connected with this company through Home Depot. The final work was fine but the process was extremely stressful and unprofessional.

Polite, helpful, professionals. Install turned out great, I would use them again.

We have used JW Floor Covering a couple of times when they were specified by Home Depot. Each time the scheduling was haphazard. The installers did not arrive when they were schedule nor were we notified of the change. When we called to find out out when they were coming we were promised a second time and the installers were still late in arriving. Both times the work crew was undermanned and the work took considerably longer than estimated by JW Floor Covering. The installers wound up rushing the work in the second half of the install in order to finish in the evening so they wouldn't have to come back a second time.

Excellent, excellent, excellent from start to finish. Great communication, amazing craftsmanship, and professional employees. So happy with my flooring, can't wait to show off to my friends!

They installed tile in my bathrooms and kitchen. Turned out beautiful. Since we did both bathrooms, they made sure one was always functioning and available for us. Home Depot left some items off the order which delayed the completion of the job but that is not JW, JW only does the install part.

Pretty easy experience. I like that you can confirm your install date in your email. Installers were nice and floor turned out real good.

We purchased flooring/installation from Home Depot in Temecula. They contract with JW Flooring and sent them out to do the installation. They told us we needed to allot 3 days for them to do our 450 sqft living room. We had to take off said time from work and other responsibilities to be present during the installation. They did a rush job and got done in just six hours. We also had to pay additional money to have our piano moved so they could do the job.

JW flooring did a horrible job installing our floors. The floors are not level and they didn't caulk any of the gaps between the flooring and the fireplace or the baseboards. There is also "dips" in the floor that make it feel springy when it shouldn't.

We called them and let them know we weren't happy with the installation. They said they would come out and take a look and fix it if it needed to be fixed. The "Supervisor" came out and tried to defend some of their work. He did say he "couldn't argue with me about that" when I showed him a level on my furniture showing it was completely off. He also agreed the 1" pieces (from miscalculation) at the end of the room was unacceptable and didn't look good. That was day four dedicated to JW flooring. He told me I needed to dedicate two more days for the fix.

The fifth day, they send the same workers that did the bad job. They tell me I have to have all the furniture, including the piano, moved out of the room and re-schedule for them to come back out. So now I'm down 6 days.

I called Home Depot and expressed my displeasure and they agreed to come out with the manager of JW flooring. At this point, I've had it! They had many opportunities to do the job correctly and they wasted 7 days of my life. This is also after they have already collected for the job.

I'd never let anyone from JW flooring in my house ever again! Their manager is a hack, and defends poor craftsmanship.

Do your self a favor and look at other review sites as well. They average a 3.5 on a popular search engine reviews.

Worst customer service and even worse at communicating . If you see any good reviews its because management puts them in themselves to try and balance all the bad reviews. Most of their installers are sloppy and do terrible work.

Absolutely horrible service. I have been waiting almost 6 months for them to install laminate in my house. I disclosed to home depot that I had a piano and had my 2 sons, 18 and 20 at the house to move the piano when needed. The workers showed up the first day and left after a few minutes and did not contact me. When I called JW Flooring at the end of my work day I was told that we didn't have "the product" there. The workers also complained that there was a piano and that there were lots of loose garments all over the floor. When I got home I found that my son had left one set of dirty clothes on the floor. Home Depot immediately delivered the flooring that evening although JW Flooring had been paid to pick it up. The next day the workers came, tore up a couple of corners of old carpet and left. I received no communication from them. I did not receive a return call from the manager at JW Flooring and when I spoke to Home Depot they said that JW had called them and told them that they could not do the install because the piano had not been moved yet. No one asked us to move the piano and the boys were home again to move it once they were told where to move it to. If you are thinking of using this company run far far away. I don't have enough time to list all the other things they did wrong.....

I purchased new tile for my kitchen from Home Depot and JW Flooring was the installation company that came out. The whole process was quick and smooth. They called me to go over my install and went over the process. On the day of the install the installer showed up during his set time slot and was completed by end of day. I am extremely happy with the results and will recommend both HD and JW to my friends. Thanks!!!

home depot had this installation company take care of my installation and cannot say enough great things about them. Communication from start to finish was smooth easy and Damian and his apprentice did an outstanding job. I really appreciated how respectful they were with wearing a mask while reviewing the project with me.

So thrilled my floors look so pretty! Went from old carpet to the tile that looks like wood. Everyone who helped me was so helpful and my home looks incredible. Just need to go find some beautiful area rugs to complete the look!

Great crew, on time, friendly, respectful of our home. They did a terrific job on installing our laminate floors and did it much faster than originally quoted. Highly recommend.

On October 25th, after waiting a month for installation, JW Floor Covering sent Mynor Perez and his crew to my house to install my carpet. They spent 4 hours at my house giving every reason under the sun, that they could not replace my 17 year old carpet. It had stains (4 kids raised here), the floor was too squeaky, I would have to put a whole new floor in! My house is 70 years old, I was not looking to do all that. I bought the cheapest carpet there was, for goodness sake, just put it in! Home depot even said that he could do it of we signed a release of liability. He still refused! He was the rudest person I have ever met. He left with our carpet. We rescheduled for another 2 weeks for a different installer (all of our stuff still outside for another 2 weeks)
The installer that came out today, November 9th, Ricardo Medrano, is AMAZING! 5 star, he did everything wonderfully, with no crew, so polite. Our carpet looks incredible, Thank you Ricardo!!!

I got new floors after seeing how great my daughter's floors turned out through Home Depot. JW are they ones you get doing the install if you go through Home Depot. They made sure to go through everything with me about the install when I scheduled and the installers showed up on time and were very hard workers. The floor looks great - I am telling all my friends who compliment me on my new floors!

My wife and I put tile throughout our downstairs, the installer did a really nice job and we are very pleased with how everything looks. Everyone who helped throughout the process was friendly. Would recommend to a friend.

My installation was scheduled between 8am-10am arrival. Alex F. arrived at 830, which was perfect. Very friendly and accomodating with walking all the way around the house to get to the rooms so i could keep my cats confined to the front of the house. Poor guy dragged huge rolls of carpet by himself but was a champ about it. Got 2 large rooms done in 3.5 hrs and left the place super clean.

Steve Bazzel came and installed our flooring, and he was so personable, professional, and did such an amazing job! He was also amazingly kind to my Mom, thank you Steve! Thank you for JW Flooring for sending us Steve!

This company did a great job installing my new carpet throughout my new home. There was no way I could have lived with the carpet that was there and these guys came in and over the course of a day put in all new under padding and carpet - very happy with the work. They were on time and courteous and everything looks good.

Terrible at scheduling and delivery. They blame anything under the planet but themselves. Very incompetent company. Why Home Depot still uses them is beyond me.

Communication issues. Never going through home Depot ever again

I didn't want to file this review, but because of the lack of concern that the company manager showed, I will voice my opinion for the sake of other potential customers.
I had laminate flooring installed in all the rooms on the first floor, as well as tile in the bathrooms, kitchen, laundry room & entry.
The initial problem was with the tile installation at the entry. The installer put the tile down incorrectly leaving a 4 inch gap which had to be remedied by putting down some smaller tiles. It turned out ok.
In the same area the tiles close to the wall were cut too small, leaving 1 in gap which they actually filled in with grout until I told them to remove them & replace with the correct size. If I hadn't caught the "error" they would have left it as is.
The tile spacers were not consistently used, therefore causing uneven grout width.
The workers sprayed the grout with a sealer they brought. I wanted them to use the expensive sealer I bought ($25 ea). They preferred to use their product (easier). When they were cleaning up their mess & tools, I noticed my sealer was missing. I asked them what they did with it. At first they denied taking it. I literally went to the bed of their truck & saw it in there!
The laminate flooring was a nightmare. They left huge gaps in several places along the walls. The entry by the garage was an absolute mess & done improperly. The area around the fireplace was cut unevenly. The area at the patio door entry began lifting just weeks after installation. It was tore up - only to find that sealers were not used, nor did they put down the correct "pad" for patio door entries. It took several days of returning to my home for the repair men to complete the job. They kept saying they didn't have the necessary tools to fix everything. They had to order more flooring (hopefully matching-it did).
After all the repairs were completed, I did not get one call from the company to see if everything was done to my satisfaction (finally it was). I called several times for the manager, leaving my name & number with no response. I made the mistake of telling the company I wanted some compensation for all trouble they caused. Never a return call. I will be posting this complaint on Yelp, Twitter, & Facebook.

JW flooring just installed a vinyl floor in living room, hallway, and entry way. It looks just like hard wood. They also installed all new baseboards. I am giving them 5 stars for the EXCELLENT work they did. I am very very very happy. Ken and Ricardo were our guys and they did such a good job
and worked so hard we bought them lunch :). We went through Home Depot and they got the ball rolling. They were great too. Excellent Customer Service. Thanks JW Flooring and Home Depot. You guys ROCK!

Had them install carpet in my home...5 Star Experience from top to bottom!! Were careful, wore masks and PPE with Covid going around, and cleaned up when they were done!! Love JW!!

Worst customer service of any company. In fact, they don't have any customer service, AT ALL...try calling them to set up your install from your Home Depot carpet purchase....HA HA HA that is the biggest laugh of all times...ON HOLD FOR OVER 3 HOURS ON 3 SEPARATE ATTEMPTS TO SCHEDULE and still NO ANSWER,JUST ...THEY DON'T ANSWER, JUST TELL YOU TO HOLD AND THEY WILL BE RIGHT BACK WITH YOU...THEY ALSO SEND YOU EMAILS AND THE EMAILS DO NOT ACCEPT RESPONSES! I'M GOING to call HD and see if they have an ACTUAL company with humans who can install my carpet...It's been a MONTH...

Very polite installers, worked very hard and install turned out beautifully. Made sure I was happy with all their work before they left and were very concerned about making sure I was thrilled with the outcome of my installation.

Was exiting H St. In Chula Vista heading West in my work vehicle when I was aggressively tailgated by one of your vehicles with the license plate# 30248U2 and as he angrily passed me, he then flipped me off for no apparent reason. Luckily I snapped a couple clear pictures which I will be sending to my cousin who is a senior producer for Channel 7 News. I will also be circulating the pictures through social media as well as contacting Chula Vista Police Department and filling a citizen's arrest request for reckless driving on the part of your driver.

Went through Home Depot for carpeting, spoke with a customer service rep Asia, absolutely disgusted with their customer service. Had scheduling set up for the 21st of August was asked to be seen sooner and was told that instead of being installed on the 21st I was now bumped to the 29th. After asking her why, her response was to hang up the phone. Not only will I be cancelling the order, but I will tell every one I know to stay far away from this company.

I love these guys! Best flooring experience I have had - this company looks out for you and makes sure the job is done the right way. Installers were on time, polite, hard workers, and the floors look amazing!

Horrible customer service!!! The guys who installed our carpet installed it nicely; however, a hole was made behind the door from possibly bringing the material into the room and banging the door. I was advised someone would call me about the incident never heard anything until I had to call back.. I was promised that the facility manager Mike was going to stop by and fix the problem and that didn't happen.. He promised he would send someone to fix it after that I never heard anything until I had to call Home Depot.. I called JW floor covering and Shaila confirmed that Home Depot never follow up with them on anything.. Its unbelievable that she even had to put down their own client "Home Depot" to make them look like they were the ones following up..

Home Depot backsplash estimate. Was told by the company to call Home Depot to confirm they have the materials before they can schedule the appointment (isn't that their job?). Called and confirmed inventory. Called them back and they said they can't schedule the install until they receive and review the "materials." No response for a number of days. Suddenly received a call days later that they would install the backsplash on the day I requested but I am responsible for any damage they cause to the wall... hmmm... and that the damage is very likely and that I have to hire another contractor to do the work. I know how to install these and explained they charged me for wonder board and they could just rip out the drywall... they seemed to have no idea what I was talking about. Decided to let them do the install anyway... suddenly, i receive a call from a "delivery" person from JW to drop off the materials. They drop off DAMAGED materials that I had to send back and exchange. BTW, that means that there was no "review" of materials that they described because the driver from JW said he just picked them up from Home Depot and needs to drop them off with me. With the hassle of discussing the install and damage to dry wall, which they didn't seem to fully understand... and the damaged materials and the poor customer service and follow up... I would not recommend this company. I cancelled my service with them and installed the marble backsplash myself. Home Depot needs to find someone else for their installs.

Jose and Alejandro did a fantastic job installing our tile! They were on time, communicated their installation plans, and the tiles not only came out leveled, but they laid it in a pattern that complimented the floor! We now have beautiful flooring. You can tell these 2 men are very seasoned at what they do. I will refer them to neighbors, friends, family and co-workers.

Jesus and Art did a excellent job with the carpet. They lined it up to the newly installed tile perfectly. The carpet and tile now compliments each other. Jesus and Art were very friendly, communicated the process and cleaned up when finished with the work. With the outcome of the job, they too are very seasoned at what they do. I will also refer them to neighbors, friends, family and co-workers.

I was dreading re-doing the floors in my home - I knew it would be such a huge undertaking. The reviews I was seeing online also had me nervous but the gal who helped me at the store assured me there wouldn't be any problems. I was nothing but pleased with my experience! My new floors look amazing and it was well worth the effort.

ALL I HAVE TO SAY IS HOME DEPOT is greater than Lowes. Two different worlds when you compare the two - Home Depot really outdid themselves with the quality of their work, expertise, and consistency. They connected me with JW Floors and they were great! I truly appreciate Audley's work on my tile kitchen, backsplash, and bathroom floors. My new floors and backsplash look AMAZINGGGgg and beautiful! Even though there were a few hiccups through the process, JW Floors and Home Depot made sure to take accountability to resolve the issues effectively. That kind of service shows that they really value their customers and work. Highly recommend!

PS: Avoid Lowes - they are crooks!

These folks work for Home Depot, I was a bit worried because you do not get to choose who does your installation - these are the only people Home Depot uses. I was glad because this company kept their promises and were polite and detailed. My new floor looks really good and they made sure to check in with me while the installation was in progress to make sure I did not have any questions. A field supervisor also came out just to check in on the installation and introduce himself to me which was a surprise but really impressed me since I had not requested it.

Very easy process, carpeting looks really good. Installers were on time and professional, took less time to complete the installation that expected which helped give me more time to get my furniture back before it got dark.

My carpet looks good. Nice people. Will use for my other rental property too.

The entire process was so organized, they really know what they are doing! The gentleman that did our install showed up on time and did such a great job on our new carpet!

My new tile looks fantastic! True craftsman and professionals. Kept my in the loop for the entire process and always made sure I has access to at least 1 bathroom which I was worried about.

I had a negative experience with one of their installers, but when I told them, they made amends. I'd use them again!

I used them for my laminate flooring in my first home and I was happy with their pricing and their service. Their installers installed the floor without complication and completed the job on time.

So, I suggested them to my client (I'm a Realtor) and we stopped in to look at flooring for several homes we are working on.

The girl at the front desk, while very nice, was poorly dressed in jeans and a t-shirt. Not terrible, but not overly professional, either.

We were told that the designer wasn't there, but the "head person" was going to come down and help us. So, we waited. And waited. After about 10 minutes, I inquired again and was told that she would be right down. Another 5 minutes passed and still no one to help us.

We decided to go to another flooring store and that we would return in half an hour, would someone be there for us? We were told "yes", that the designer was at lunch and would be back by 1:00 (half an hour).

We returned in about 20 minutes and another gentleman came out to speak with us. He said that he was there commercial estimator and began to grill us as to how we had come to the showroom. I explained that I had used them previously, I was a Realtor and this was my client. He then told us that there was no one there that could help us; that we really need to make an appointment before we come. I reminded him that we were told that the designer was returning at 1:00. He said that was incorrect, there was no one that could help us and we would have to make an appointment with a designer and return later.

It didn't seem to me that they had any desire to do business with us. Well, they're getting their wish. I certainly will not be sending any of my clients there.

The guys who installed our floors installed the floors nicely; however, our walls were damaged from the removals of the old floor. The base boards installation is substandard and had to be redone. Worst customer service: they do not show up on time on their promised window. They do not communicate well with each other. No one knows what is going on.

Worst experience in construction business that I ever had! Horrible customer service, they have no understanding of clients needs.
How Home Depot choosing their vendors, it definetly hertz their reputation as well.

Getting a vinyl floor covering. One of their workers came to the house and said they couldn't install because the underfloor wasn't level. They don't level floors but did say where the floor needed to be leveled. I hired a contractor to level the floor where JW worker said it needed to be done. A new JW associate came to the house and said they couldn't install because the floor wasn't level in another area.
When I pointed that out, the JW worker shrugged and said that they were moving forward. I am getting my instillation fee back, but I will no longer do business with them. In my opinion, they are either incompetent or shady.

The communications with the scheduling office was spectacular with Tre constantly keeping me in the loop. The Install Crew of Ruben and Michael did an amazing job, worked very hard and were very respectful of our property. They cleaned up after their work and left my home in better shape than they found it. I really liked working with J W Floor Covering, Inc. and recommend them very highly.

JW Floor Covering did a fantastic job. They sent out quality installers, who got the job done correctly the first time. Would love to work with them again in the future on many more projects!

JW and Home Depot are skilled at pointing the finger at one another when something doesn't go quite right. Our $6,000 carpet was installed upstairs 2 weeks ago and then at the end the installer didn't have enough to finish carpeting 4 of 12 stairs.

I've called each more than a dozen times and gotten the runaround. Still no carpet, lots of nail injuries and one tumble down the stairs. Beware!

Louis Duenas does excellent work! He installed our bathroom floor that we bought through Home Depot. It was a fairly complex layout and his attention to detail is outstanding.
