I had to wait 30 minutes to just drop off the car for 'express' service. I wasn't even greeted by anyone for 20 minutes. There were only 2 employees taking new cars and each one was taking 10 minutes while there was a line of 15 cars behind me.

When I called to check status on the car the call was hung up twice. I have bought my last 2 cars from Joyce but will not be using them for service or new cars.

Don t go there. They forgot to put oil in the engine. I ve been taking my car to the service since I bought it 2011 new civic. The price was high but that the way with most dealerships, I followed all their recommendations and fixed it with them. Last time I took it they had new staffs, they change the oil and filter and recommended tires to be changed in next service. After 3 days my car starts making noise so I called them they were ok come in. It took 2 hours to go there then the noise was so Clair that there is no oil in the car. Then they told me let us help u, keep the car and we will call u .they didn t even gave a replacement car and I had to download Huber to go back home. They called me and told me will coast $4000. Then they told me they will help me with buying new car. They offer $500 for that if I buy new car!!!!! They said well it s 2011 car and we r 2019!!!!!!! Really!!!!!! I went to Toyota after wasting a week with this dealer and spend money in transportation back and forth to work, TOYOTA DEALER checked my car and they said that the engine had no oil and that s y it made that noise. Toyota gave $2000 for it and I brought a new car from them. Till now no one even called or said anything from Joyce Honda. I regret buying and servicing my car with them. DO URSELF AND UR CAR A FAVOR AND GO TO ANOTHER DEALER.

I took my vehicle in for routine maintenance and the service people were great. I was there with my young child and they were considerate to get my service done quickly and recommended I drop it off for further work at a later date and get a courtesy car so that I won t have to wait hours with my child there. My only serious complaint is with the one receptionist there (I didn t catch her name but it was not the Hispanic one) As I waited, an older gentleman came in and asked a simple question and she was very short and bitchy with him. She didn t truly answer his question and pretty much yelled condescendingly at him like he was too stupid to understand what she was saying. Very unprofessional and rude.

Ask for Walter. He's laid back, not pushy and he'll get you in a car. All the guys there were crazy friendly and actually listened to your concerns. They make you feel like a person and not a number to satisfy their commission. Justin and Effron are solid guys too. Haven't had any experience with anyone else but the whole dealership seems nice and friendly. The power went out twice while we were there and they waited past closing hours to finish the deal. Highly recommend.

Left the Joyce Honda, manager was unwilling to make any fair deal. (I have leased 6 cars with Joyce.) I drove to Hackettstown Honda , got my GREAT deal for the same suv. (Saved 1000) Joyce honda new manager is terrible.....Go to Hackettstown Honda!!!!

My experience at Joyce Honda was second to none. From the momment i walked in the door to the final delivery of my certified used Honda. When i was on the lot my sales person David gave me breathing room,he never was pushie. He made the process fun. When he introduced me to his manager i sad to my oh boy here we go.This dude is 6`4`` looks like he would break me in half.John the sales manager made it easy. This is what we can do approach.Thank you John and Dave for making it a great experience!!!!!

Efren was very helpful in explaining all the new features in the 2018 CRV. We had previously bought a CRV at Joyce Honda and returned to them because our experience had been good before. I would definitely recommend Efren to anyone. Steve Owusu, the finance manager, was also very helpful with any questions we had about the financing of our vehicle. We were also very satisfied with our previous CRV and the service we had received at Joyce Honda over the years that we owned it.

How can you hire a finance manager that regardless of not having a finance degree but didn t even finish college?? Lauren was extremely slow and not knowledgeable besides having an extremely obnoxious voice. Maybe this is her first job and she is brand new but someone needs to teach her how to be in finance. Glad I walked away from the deal because she tried to add numbers and amounts without explaining it and I am sure she would of screwed up the numbers.

Does anyone else feel the service here is slipping? Earlier this year, I was told I needed new control arm bushings and got them replaced. A couple days later, I started hearing unsettling metallic noises. I brought the car back in and they said the backing plates had been bent in the process of doing the bushings, and they bent them back into place. However, I still heard the noises and they started getting worse. Next time I brought it in, I was told it was probably other worn bushings so I should leave it to be examined. When I did, the decision was that I needed a new front axle ($600). Still heard the noises! On my third return visit, they realized it was simply that the bushings that had been replaced were not adequately tightened. Problem solved in minutes. I'm still not positive I needed that axle! The massive inconvenience and expense of all this really turned me off. I'm wondering if there have also been management changes, because the vibe is less warm and more like they just want your money. Also, examine your loaner cars carefully here. I was blamed for a nick in the side wall of a tire on one once (I hadn't thought to carefully examine the tires when I received the car, and they insisted they would never let it go out that way), so the next time I got a loaner from them I looked closely and guess what I found? A chunk missing from the side wall of one of the tires. It's not really a convenience to get a loaner if you're going to be blamed for someone else's damages!

First, the staff is not friendly and second they don't discuss options with the Customer. Even though I had an appointment, I had to wait for more than 30 minutes for an executive to attend and nobody seem to be interested to take care of customers walking-in. I definitely wouldn't recommend.

I usually don't post reviews but this place has horrible customer service when resolving an issue. There are Honda dealers everywhere so I recommend shoping somewhere where the customer comes first.
I responded to an add they posted for a honda odyssey touring ELITE and when I arrived the sales women confirmed it was a touring elite as she showed me the car. I am a busy business owner myself, so I did a short test drive and the car performed well. The car was for my wife. They then ran me a blue book value for a touring elite to show that the car was priced well. I came back and purchased the car. When I got home i realized a few of the features that were in the elite were not in the car. I realized they sold me a touring instead of a touring elite.
When I called about the issue and showed them the add they told me that the add was a mistake and shouldn't of said that. When i asked about their sales women confirming the car type they said "well she's new". I feel like a was duped into thinking i was getting a better deal then I actually got. The VP was to busy to discuss rectifying the issue so he turned me to his manager Joe. He was apologetic especially when i sent him the add. But made very little effort to make it right offering to buy me a dust buster. As if that would take the place of the central vac that came with the elite. I told him I didn't want any money back even though i feel i overpaid for the car. I told them if they installed a hitch for me I would consider the matter resolved. Would of cost maybe $200 for them to do. After all they certified the car by doing almost no maintenance on it. So it was not like they had a lot of money into the car. I told Joe I I don't need the money but it is the principle. Joe said he would find out if they could do it and call me back. I left a few more messages and Guess what "NO Callback" big surprise! This is how their manager deals with issues..no response. Not even a callback saying they couldn't do it. What horrible customer service!! I am going to cancel my additional warranty i purchased from them. I would never shop here again and neither will my friends or family!!! A $200 expense will cost them a ton of business in the future!

I just leased my third CRV from Mario at Joyce Honda and as previously it was a great experience. Mario is wonderful to work with. He is very thorough, accommodating, takes his time to explain everything and sets up all the needed tech features on the vehicle before you leave the dealership. I will continue to visit Joyce Honda and Mario for my vehicle needs. They can't be beat!

I went in for regular service and they kept making me change service lanes.
People arriving after me we're being seen before me. Took almost 40 minutes until someone would see me.

Not to mention, last time I was here they didn't put the front bumper on properly so now it's slightly damaged.
Plus they didn't clip the belly pan on all the way so it was scrapping on the highway and I had to buy more clips and clip it myself.
HORRIBLE service. Scammers. Do not recommend. Never going back.

Line of the day, "Someone will be right with you."

Read your contracts very carefully, they might change the final price. They added about 2000 dollars on my contract for nonsense.

We asked many times, and the dealer certainly said the final price is 20600 which including ALL the taxes and fees. (I even asked Is the price excludes $300 plate fee ONLY , which he mentioned earlier.) However, when it comes to the contract, the final price has changed to 22---. The dealer then said he has no record saying such thing as 20600 including all the fees and taxes.

The worst dealership ever.

Pathetic after sales service. I bought the Pre-owned certified car from honda. After purchese within 3 months there an problem with rotors and rear wheel. I bought the car to dealership and they check there is a problem, afther reviewed the problem they give me estimate for repair and said it is not covered in warranty, when i go to the Manager named Mr.Angel , he gives me ruff answer that we already give you car in very low price etc.. i mean come on guys that not means that you are not giving me after sales service. I paid for the car and it has still factory warranty left.

Very upset and will complaint about this in HONDA.

Had agreed on a price to buy a car and gave credit card number for deposit $2500. When I came in to finalize the sale, Angel told me the car was sold. This was 2 hrs after agreeing on price and placing deposit. I will never go back here again!!!!

Notice the absence of the management s replies regarding all the negative reviews.

I do like Joyce Honda's service center, however I encountered a flaw in their service recommendation process. On a written recommendation, it was recommended I get new spark plugs, based on time and usage. However, I had recently had the spark plugs replaced by them. Their policy does not require them to look into your records to determine if you already had the service, or even examine the spark plugs to see if they need changing. This is a flawed system, and may cause an unsuspecting customer to have unneeded work done, at great expense.
On a positive note, they did a great job replacing my headlight bulb, and front tires. After the alignment they did, my car handled much more smoothly.
Customers do trust their dealer service center to keep records of their service for them, that is a great perk of going right to the dealer. So they really need to be accurate when letting customers know what needs to be done, and what has already been done on their car.

I recently took my car for an oil change to Joyce Honda. The whole service department was friendly and attentive. Look out for this handsome gentleman Bill Lally who walks around the garage and waiting rooms asking everyone how they are doing and making sure they don t need anything while they wait. He started a conversation with me when I shared with him that I m here on my lunch break and in a hurry. He quickly made his way out into the garage and overlooked the whole operation from start to billing so I can be back at work on time. Thank you Bill!

This place has to be by far the worst dealership in the area . Please don t EVER bring your vehicle to be serviced here . I gave them 5 stars just so people can see this . But I brought my car in on multiple occasions and I ve come to the conclusion that these people are not here to help you but make your problems worse or give you new problems so they can charge you and make more money out of you. I work my ass off just to be able to pay for my car and these people just don t have a care in the world . First incident was a door ding which is supposed to be covered under warranty because I bought the paint less dent repair package/warranty .they agreed to fix it but then they told me it wasn t covered. They never fixed it just basically did a half ass job and Not only that they made the dent more noticeable and worse by completely stripping off the clear coat around it . SECOND incident was my oil change they changed the oil or I thought they did and at this point I wouldn t doubt it if they didn t but they never reset the damn oil life meter to let you know when the next oil changed is . THIRD incident was the cars ride quality was noticeably worse took it in and they said oh everthing is normal which I thought was odd because if they really checked everything it wouldn t have taken so damn fast . My last and most recent incident I took my car in for the same reason as the last one which was the ride quality and I got the car back in worse condition than it was when I brought it in. They swear everything is normal but it s obvious there s a problem. Service tech drove around with me and he thought I was stupid and he could give me the same old bs lies that didn t even make sense . My car door is making some noise now and not only that they srachted it. I made a call to the corporation and let them know about all the bad things they are doing to people here . All the reviews you see about their service is all but negative . I m also calling the better business bureau , and considering a complaint to the consumer affairs . Please do me a favor and don t buy your vehicle here . They have good deals but you ll regret getting a Honda because of their service . My family have been getting Honda s for a very long time and I will tell you the last car we bought from there will be the last .the people are rude they don t respect you they prey on people that don t know much about cars . They will neglect you and they will screw you .

Worst service ever received. Brought my car in at 730am due to a recall to avoid the lines. My car was 3rd in line. I was told it would take 2 to 3 hrs to repair and it took 7 to 8 hours to complete. To make things worse, when I showed up at 330pm, they were still telling customers the recall repair would take 2 to 3 hours to complete.

I had a wonderful experience at Joyce Honda in Denville, NJ!
I was trading in my old Ford for a new Honda Civic. Navin Jagtiani took wonderful care of me from beginning to end. He worked around my schedule and made sure I was pleased. I would definitely recommend this dealership to others!

I just bought a new car -- the Honda CRV. Ryan was amazing and helpful. I told him about the issues with the light interior on my previous civic and how disgusting my kids and husband are in the car. When I showed up to pick up the car, he installed the weather tech mats as a thank you gift... THEY ARE AMAZING. My daughter spilled her entire bean burrito on the floor driving home from school and it took 5 seconds to clean up. Love all of the luxuries of the CRV especially the family friendly. Overall a great experience.

Let me start by starting that my sales experience ...

Let me start by starting that my sales experience was phenomenal! The SALES team was on point, very friendly, straight forward and I got exactly what I asked for with no SURPRISES!!!!

Unfortunately I had to bring my car back for service on three separate occasions. I'm not the most thrilled about any of my experiences with the service department AT ALL! Let me explain.....

My first issue was with the condition of the vehicle after taking delivery. The first few days were great, but then all of a sudden I would get this shaking from the vehicle when braking. No big deal, bright it back to service and wad tools it would be fixed. The car is a certified preowned and that was the main selling point of the vehicle. With that being the case I was certain that this minor issue would be nothing more than an oversight. Such was the case. I brought the car back and the service department went through the process of evaluating the issue. It was determined that the rear rotors and brakes needed to be replaced due to warping. I'd hoped it would have been rectified that day seeing I'd been there waiting since 5:45am. But not the case. They told me since I bought the car used that I had to take it to the used car service department..... O......K......????

Anyway, I brought three car back since I'd already been there for hours already only to be told that the same dealer couldn't service my vehicle on their side because it was CERTIFIED PREOWNED and not brand new. Not a problem.

So I bring the car back about a week later and they take a look at it. NOW, I'm being told that the front brakes stress causing the issue AND the rear brakes ans rotors needs to be replaced. I'm like fine! Whatever.....

So fast forwarding to today, I come in because I need to have the oil changed. I walk into the sales room because I need to speak with my sales person (Milissa T. AWESOME BTW!!!!) and I was greeted by two Spanish gentlemen standing outside the front door to the used car showroom. I asked for M.T and was told that she wasn't there. I then asked if the sales manager that I'd dealt with when I'd made my purchase was available and wad told he was no longer with the company (Jorge). I'm like, okay....?, before I could say another word, the man who I'd later be introduced to as Angel/Andre asked if he could be of assistance. I told him that I'd come to get my oil change coupon. He told me that he could help me out with that. I'm thinking, GREAT! Problem solved.......

So we're walk over to his desk ans he asks for my name. I give it to hon and begins looking through the computer I guess for my file. He finds it and starts going through the specifics. I'm looking at him and noticing that he's ACTUALLY reading through the financial portion of the contract and not the petition that contains the "we owe" details where this works be located. I don't say anything. Then he starts to soark again, " you're not due for an oil change for 5k miles, did you travel 5k miles?" First and foremost they were supposed to give me the certificate when I purchased the car, so whether I did or not is absolutely irrelevant..... The issue I have with this is the easy he spoke to me. He was very condescending ans almost borderline shaming me as if to say, why are you driving this car so much. Despite the fact that I never told him how many miles I'd put on the car. Most important, that's none of their business. Their only concern should have if I'm happy with the car and what they can do to assist me in keeping the vehicle serviced with them which is always going to a plus from a business perspective. Add someone who works in the industry I don't expect anyone to behave lackadaisically in their approach when it comes to good customer service and customer retention, but, then again, facts don't lie.... His behavior and aggressive attitude are not what I expect from this dealership. I am not happy at all.

Our car dealer Cory was so helpful and not aggressive or pushy in any way. He didn't try to sell us anything out of our price range and he understood our budget.

We also were very impressed by Honda's DocuPad technology in which you can electronically sign all of your documents using a stylus pen right on top of his desk. Minimal paperwork to sign.

Our only complaint was the sitting around and waiting - it shouldn't need to take 2 or more hours for car buying or leasing. I have always leased my cars from this Honda dealership and I recommend buying from Joyce Honda of Denville,NJ in the future.

Let me start by saying one star is too good for this place. I asked Nancy to please let me know if the car I want sells, I have a 60 mile drive, she told me absolutely. I get there and what a surprise, the car was sold the night before. The sales rep talks so low that you can t understand what he s saying. The manager was very rude, wasn t much help at all. Sat there talking and laughing with I guess other reps while I m just standing there waiting. God forbid you try and do the right this for a customer. Didn t even ask me to sit down and try and figure out what happened and why. NEVER AGAIN.

The employees were nice and friendly so no issues there. The vehicle that I inquired about prior to my arrival wasn't even there when I got there and I drove 35-40 mins to get there. However I did end up purchasing a different vehicle (Aug 2017). What I really disliked was when I got my car serviced this year (Feb 2018) I received false information during the multipoint inspection report. The results stated my battery was in good condition. Then a couple of days later my car wouldn't start. Come to find out the battery was so bad it had to be replaced. It is also true that the wait times are kind of long. I think I spend about 1-2 hours in the service area but it doesn't bother me as long as they are doing the job right. The reason why I rated them a 4 and not lower is because when I first bought the car I had 2 issues (a rotor and actuator ) within a month of purchase that they fixed with no additional charge. Overall a good place to come, just need the service area to improve.

We have bought 3 Honda Accords from Joyce Honda. ...

We have bought 3 Honda Accords from Joyce Honda. I came in to have an unscheduled minor repair on our 2013 Accord and while waiting for the diagnosis I visited the Used Car Showroom to see what was available since the 2005 Accord I usually drive needed to be replaced within the next 3 to 6 months.
I came in to find out what new safety features had been added since we bought the 2013 Accord as a leftover. I really should have been in the other showroom looking for a 2016 leftover but there was and "old" sign in the waiting room that told about 0% financing on some select used cars. When I mentioned that to Bernardo he and I went down to remove the sign as the deal had expired many days before. So I told Bernardo what features I would like and he went to review the inventory warning me that even if I saw one I liked the turn-over was large and that car would likely not be there if I came back in a month or two....but other similar cars would be available as the model year changed over. After a minute or so checking his inventory he found an Accord he thought I might want....and it was right in the showroom! It didn't have exactly the features I thought my wife would want as I would get the 2013 and she would get the "new one". It turns out the car was an Accord Hybrid which interested me because of the positive effect they have on the environment (a year ago we put solar panels on the roof of our house). I called my wife to tell her about the car but a few times a year she packs up the 2013 Accord for her business or to go to the shore and needs a full sized trunk. She informed me that if I wanted the car it would be for me as she was quite happy with her 2013 Accord. I was not concerned about the "lost" trunk space as my days of picking up large items from Home Depot are coming to a close. The car was a 2015 with 11,000 miles on it!
I didn't want to know how such a car was there but it still smelled like a new car. We talked a little about financing options but the final decision had to be made when I picked up the car because of the interest rate on my "Line of Credit" vs. Honda's financing that we had used for the 2013 Accord.
I am a retired engineering manager who is now an Adjunct Professor at County College of Morris. I use life lessons as much as I can in my lectures and labs so adding stories about hybrid propulsion to my solar panel stories should get a few of my students to think about "Saving the Planet". The buying experience at Joyce Honda is never stressful or high pressure and Bernardo was able to relate to me because of his advanced age and worldly experience. The only trouble we had was with the finance manager considering the coverage we wanted on the vehicle. There were too many choices and combinations but in the end we took more than we ever have before because of the state of hybrid technology and the conditions of the roads.

I was an easy customer and pretty much knew what I wanted, but the staff was very helpful in explaining the various details which I needed. The showroom is pretty nice and they seem to have their act together. I did not feel too much pressure to close the deal, but I knew what I wanted and got right to the point so I feel it was quite easy for them.
I was not thrilled with the Honda Finance's assessment of the credit score, but I can't blame that on the dealership.
Overall, a good experience. I have purchased an Accord there before and now I leased a CRV. My brother has also leased 2 CRV's from them.
I would recommend them.

Had a great experience at Joyce Honda service center. I'm a regular customer to do service for both my cars, so far so good. Service team is very courteous and helpful in explaining the details for repairs and servicing, which I'm thankful and appreciate all their support! I will certainly recommend to all my friends....thanks.

I was driving a vehicle that I felt overall unhappy with. I was paying a high price for an SUV that did not feel worth the monthly payment from an entirely different manufacturer and dealership. I was then looking to make some serious changes that would put me into a vehicle I was not only head over heels for, but worth every cent. I was unhappy with the dealership I previously went to so a friend referred me to Joyce Honda of Denville, NJ. And, boy, was she right! Not only did I receive exceptional and outstanding friendly, courteous service, but the sales person introduced me to the vehicle technologically and operatively. This was a HUGE selling point. Before even getting into the SUV to test drive it, Creiss Whitfield (sales) helped familiarize me with HOW it works so I wasn't so nervous driving a newer car the first time. I've never had a salesperson approach a test drive that way. I felt at ease, comfortable, and prepared. After test driving the 2019 Honda Pilot EX, I was SOLD. The SUV is PERFECT! I am in love with the car, but more so, I am overjoyed with the experience I had. I will be referring friends and family to them in the future! I am one SATISFIED customer!!

This is the worst experience I ve ever had with a new var. short staffed. Defective heat blow out of tire all in first 24 hours. Find another Honda dealership they have no clue what they are doing there. Incompetence!!!!!

To begin, I absolutely hate the car buying process. Dealerships make me cringe and most salespeople I have dealt with are un-caring and greedy. I was in the market for a CPO vehicle and had done extensive research on the vehicle of choice and Joyce Honda had my dream car with pricing and mileage preferred in its inventory. My husband and I went to the dealership on a Saturday evening 2-29-20 around 7pm, sat down at the table waiting for a representative when my car fairy godmother Catherine Carr asked were we being helped. From that point forward, the experience was amazing. Catherine kept in contact and assured me that a deal would get done for my dream vehicle (believe me it definitely took a lot of work). She assured me that Domingo the financial guy would handle it and he did. Monday afternoon 3-2-20 (dealership and banks are closed on Sunday), I got the call of a lifetime, a call I thought I would never ever get; that I could come and pick up my vehicle. Not even 24 hours later!!!!! To say I am ecstatic is an understatement, Joyce Honda has definitely made lifetime customers out of my husband and I and Catherine and Domingo are the ABSOLUTE BEST!!!!:) I can't thank them enough.

Diana was excellent - she was very attentive to my needs and scrambled to insure that the delivery date was met. I had a little concen over the trade-in value, but overall I was very satisfied with the pricing and the overall experience. The car has exceeded my expectations

We were supposed to meet with Gina and when we walked in someone else grabbed us away saying she couldn't come right now.

I asked to test drive the Honda Civic ex and the insight, both of which they told me over the phone that they had. But then they tried to push me into test driving a sport model that I didn't ask for.

Finally , we asked the guy for pricing and he was playing the regular game of dining the price around a monthly payment. I asked him to give me the total cost of the car as 1 whole number, then he left us in the office for 20 minutes without saying anything, we left before he came back.

Then this dealership has the audacity to call and ask if I'm ready to buy. Not from here.

Love my Honda, it's a great car. The service department @ Joyce is not up to the same standard. Service Writer called me to get my approval for 60k mile service + changing out differential fluid. I approved. Looking at receipt next day and it says "refused differential fluid service". I figure it's a mistake, but I'll call and check. I'm told he's off the next day, call tomorrow. I call tomorrow and they tell me he's off - I should call Monday. I call Monday and he's off again - I should call Tuesday. I call Tuesday...guess what? He's off again. I ask for a manager. On hold for 5 minutes. Somebody else comes on (manager?) and says he can't help me, but other service writer is filling in so he will get them on the phone. Another 5 minute wait, the "maybe-manager" comes back to tell me that service writer is not around but will call me back. I'm a little frustrated and try to explain everything that's been happening and he cuts me off to give me a standard "I understand and I apologize". How can you understand if you don't let me explain? I jump in to explain again, he cuts me off with "You done?" Really? I stupidly ask him if "he's done" and hang up....not my finest moment but I'm not the service manager - just a client trying to get a little help. No call back, of course, and still no idea if the diff fluid was changed. I'm not going back and will let everyone I know that cares to look elsewhere for service and sales.

I just want to say this place is great!! The service is outstanding! It was a little wait but they make you feel at home , specially the incredible receptionist Lena, she is such a sweetheart and professional . She was so polite and very informative. The only thing they need to do is life up the place , a bit outdated but the people are great.

The service department does not take appointments and the wait times are always 2 hours or more for routine maintenance. I tried to get a car in for a week both mornings and nights with no results.

I finally got the car in July 3 2019 by going there at 7:30am and still waited almost 3 hours for a tire repair. One guy who works there told me while laughing that the lines are usually longer.

Try to avoid the service department at all costs. I'm surprised Honda would allow this dealer to operate like this. Other Honda dealers in the area take appointments.

Excellent experience with my oil change. They honoured the groupon coupon, was really polite and courteous and provided timely service. In and out in less than 60 minutes. Will definitely recommend for service and oil change
