Kay Jay Review of Joyce Honda
Let me start by starting that my sales experience ...
Let me start by starting that my sales experience was phenomenal! The SALES team was on point, very friendly, straight forward and I got exactly what I asked for with no SURPRISES!!!!
Unfortunately I had to bring my car back for service on three separate occasions. I'm not the most thrilled about any of my experiences with the service department AT ALL! Let me explain.....
My first issue was with the condition of the vehicle after taking delivery. The first few days were great, but then all of a sudden I would get this shaking from the vehicle when braking. No big deal, bright it back to service and wad tools it would be fixed. The car is a certified preowned and that was the main selling point of the vehicle. With that being the case I was certain that this minor issue would be nothing more than an oversight. Such was the case. I brought the car back and the service department went through the process of evaluating the issue. It was determined that the rear rotors and brakes needed to be replaced due to warping. I'd hoped it would have been rectified that day seeing I'd been there waiting since 5:45am. But not the case. They told me since I bought the car used that I had to take it to the used car service department..... O......K......????
Anyway, I brought three car back since I'd already been there for hours already only to be told that the same dealer couldn't service my vehicle on their side because it was CERTIFIED PREOWNED and not brand new. Not a problem.
So I bring the car back about a week later and they take a look at it. NOW, I'm being told that the front brakes stress causing the issue AND the rear brakes ans rotors needs to be replaced. I'm like fine! Whatever.....
So fast forwarding to today, I come in because I need to have the oil changed. I walk into the sales room because I need to speak with my sales person (Milissa T. AWESOME BTW!!!!) and I was greeted by two Spanish gentlemen standing outside the front door to the used car showroom. I asked for M.T and was told that she wasn't there. I then asked if the sales manager that I'd dealt with when I'd made my purchase was available and wad told he was no longer with the company (Jorge). I'm like, okay....?, before I could say another word, the man who I'd later be introduced to as Angel/Andre asked if he could be of assistance. I told him that I'd come to get my oil change coupon. He told me that he could help me out with that. I'm thinking, GREAT! Problem solved.......
So we're walk over to his desk ans he asks for my name. I give it to hon and begins looking through the computer I guess for my file. He finds it and starts going through the specifics. I'm looking at him and noticing that he's ACTUALLY reading through the financial portion of the contract and not the petition that contains the "we owe" details where this works be located. I don't say anything. Then he starts to soark again, " you're not due for an oil change for 5k miles, did you travel 5k miles?" First and foremost they were supposed to give me the certificate when I purchased the car, so whether I did or not is absolutely irrelevant..... The issue I have with this is the easy he spoke to me. He was very condescending ans almost borderline shaming me as if to say, why are you driving this car so much. Despite the fact that I never told him how many miles I'd put on the car. Most important, that's none of their business. Their only concern should have if I'm happy with the car and what they can do to assist me in keeping the vehicle serviced with them which is always going to a plus from a business perspective. Add someone who works in the industry I don't expect anyone to behave lackadaisically in their approach when it comes to good customer service and customer retention, but, then again, facts don't lie.... His behavior and aggressive attitude are not what I expect from this dealership. I am not happy at all.
