Derrick and his assistant were very knowledgeable and helpful with the questions we asked them. Both did a great job and in a short period of time completed the work before the end of the day. I would recommend for all my electrical work. Thank you John Moore for sending us a great team.

The whole experience has been phenomenal. My technician was so courteous and professional. He went above and beyond to explain everything so thoroughly. Our issue has not been resolved, but we're still working to figure it out. This has been going on for almost 20 years so, I'm not expecting the resolution to be immediate. I will recommend John Moore to everyone

Excellent and friendly service provided by Fisnik. Came in and quickly and efficiently repaired my kitchen issue. The service was even provided earlier than scheduled as they had a cancellation and immediately contacted me to provide a quicker arrival.

I had a plumbing issue coming from under my sink. So, I called John Moore Service because I heard they were great, but I was misinformed. The plumber (L.S.) came to my house with a great attitude and willing to fix the problem, but not checking every area. He cut my sheetrock from my kitchen island before ruling out all the other options prior to cutting. Not only that, he told me that he was going to have to charge me $15,000 to tunnel to fix my pipes.The plumber stated that the leak was coming from my sink right, wrong. I have a new house and there is nothing wrong with my pipes at all. This plumber overcharged me and left my island in a mess. I called another plumber and they immediately fixed the problem. Guess what, it was my dishwasher. In which, the other plumber never look. I do not recommend this service to anybody because they overcharge and don't follow up on complaints. If I were you I would always get a second opinion before they started destroying your house.

The phone staff got back with us first thing the next morning to schedule for our plumbing issue..very professional and listened as I described it. Cameron the tech came out 2 hours before his estimated time and explained what he did to the pipes and also explained some other issues with water pressure we were having. Great job!

John Moore Services is a large established company...

John Moore Services is a large established company sporting dozens (maybe a 100--more?) of service trucks and hundreds of employees. Many, if not most, are quite experienced and carry the proper tools and gear. Note that you will pay top dollar, but they do it right and service the gear after the sale.

During the freeze our home's main water valve into...

During the freeze our home's main water valve into the house broke and we called John Moore to come out and see what it would take to replace.

I will not complain about the time it took for them to arrive, I completely understand that this was a difficult situation and they were doing the best they could. I called on Monday and they came on Wednesday, but they did come, which is more than some other plumbers did.

When I spoke to the operator to schedule a service call, I was under the impression that they would be sending a plumber who would be able to fix the problem or offer a temporary solution.

A salesman showed up.

I showed him our issue and he said he would work up a quote for the work. His quote was for $1,200 and he had an additional $5,000 of work he felt needed to be done.

They wanted to repipe the portion of the house where the mainline came in. They wanted to dig up part of my underground line and replace it. They wanted to cut into the drywall on the interior so they could repipe that portion as well. They wanted $600 up front to reserve an as yet to be determined service time (remember they sent a salesman, not a plumber). They could not tell me when they would have availability to have someone out. They could definitely tell me that it would not be fixed that day, and probably not before the next week.

I just wanted a new valve or any solution to restore water to our house. I understood that they may not have the parts on hand and was willing to pay for a temporary fix, with the understanding that they would come and repair to code at a later time when parts and time were readily available.

The salesman insisted that they could not perform work on the pipes as is and any work done would cause more damage.

I did not schedule a service call with John Moore.

On Thursday, Turbo Home Services came out and looked at the exact same problem. Their plumber understood my situation, and while he did not have the parts necessary at the time, he was able to temp a water line into the house to give us running water. The same technician returned a week later and repaired the line to code.

They charged me under $500.

Thanks to John Moore for their free estimates ... but good thing I looked further. My mom's yard was flooded with water and JM gave me a $6000+ estimate to replace the entire 52 feet of water line from the meter to the house saying that it was not PVC pipe and could not be simply repaired. After they left, I dug up the pipe at the meter and at the house and found that the line was indeed PVC. I asked them to rebid the job based on the new information, but did not hear from them. I called another plumber that replaced 2 PVC breaks in the line for $306 which saved Mom about $5,450. I will call them again in the future ... but you can believe that I am more thorough than most and don't believe estimators that make big mistakes.

Smelled gas in the house on a Sunday morning, and called CenterPoint. They shut the gas off indicating that there is a leak in two spots at the valves. Called John Moore and the tech came out 2 days later, paid a service fee and I received a $ 4,9xx.xx estimate for the repair. Thru Nextdoor found a licensed plumber that did the repair per CenterPoint's paperwork for $ 400.00. Called John Moore and asked for a refund of the service call for this over the top estimate (highway robbery). I was told no such thing since the tech came out. I guess they pray on taking advantage of the weak and easy panic individuals.

We just had new flooring and painting throughout our home. Yesterday, water was leaking under the baseboards around the perimeter of our guest bathroom, into our dining room. We called our home warranty company who couldn't schedule anyone until Tuesday, 4 days from now. That's unacceptable. We called John Moore, and Javier Garcia came by. He explained what we needed to do, answered our questions, while being patient with 2 older people. Thanks to John Moore and Javier Garcia, our drains are working like new!

John Moore Services repiped our home after Hurricane Harvey flood. Recently the water line pipes were making a loud noise when we flushed the commode. My wife was dreading the repair thinking they would have to cut a hole in her closet wall, the resulting sheetrock dust and paint smell after repair. Darrell quickly realized the problem was not the pipes and it was an old flapper in our commode, He replaced the flapper and the pipe noise was eliminated. My wife did a "HAPPY DANCE" with Darrell. Darrell is a real professional plumber that knows what he is doing and a real asset to John Moore Services. I wish Darrell could personally handle all of our plumbing problems we might have in the future. When Darrell finished his work I told him I was awarding him "Fifteen Gold Stars".

We experienced a power surge and lightening strike at our house during tropical storm Imelda last month. We needed a diagnosis and repair estimate. I called John Moore who offers this service for free which is amazing. They set an appointment to have an electrical tech here within 3 days. Leonard was punctual, professional, and knowledgeable, what more could you ask for. Great service. Thank you so much.

We needed a plumber to fix the drain line on the air conditioner. He was thorough, cheerful and very helpful to show us how to maintain the line so it won't clog again.
I have used John Moore for air conditioning, plumbing, electrical work and termites and we have been very, very satisfied with their work.

John Moore is more of a premium product, but I will say that I needed someone that knew what they were doing and willing to work with me. Jason H. was AWESOME- he came in and evaluated my problem (the AC) and even taught me a lot about the machine so I knew the basic mechanics (for future troubleshooting, etc.). I work full-time, but it worked well into my schedule and I didn't have to take off any time (or wait forever to get it fixed). I would recommend Jason in an instant- or even try to steal him into my org as an employee.

I experienced localized plumbing issues after the Houston freeze. The plumber said if I wanted to try to fix it step-by-step, I should buy a new faucet first, which they would replace. If that didn't work, JM would replace the stems. If that didn't work, I should repipe my entire house. My faucet is under full warranty and is 2 years old and the stems are the same age. Pipes under the sink can be backflushed before stems are cut. More diagnosis is needed before repiping is done and then my entire house probably doesn''t need repiping for a localized problem.

I had damaged to my galvanized pipe during the freeze. John Moore came out and temporarily fixed the leak so we could have cold water for the time being and we agreed to replumb the house with pex at the next available appointment. So they capped off the damaged pipe late one evening with the promise to come back the following evening to increase water pressure for the shower and bath tub. Two weeks later, the technician decided to correct the issue after multiple calls/texts to remind him. (Note: we have a one year old and had to drive across town to bathe her during this time) One week later the replumb started so I was little annoyed but ready to move forward with getting the new piping installed. Pex installation went pretty smooth. Upon completion I signed off, but was told the divert valve in the master shower needed replacing. As soon as they left, we noticed the master shower slowly dripping even when turned off (we never had this issue before but equated this to freeze damage). John Moore came out the next day and looked at the part and said a new cartridge was needed and was on order. Two weeks later, the technician came for what I assumed was the install/replacement but come to find out...he came to get the model number of the part required. Two weeks wasted! I was lied to and it has since been a nightmare communicating with the technician, main number and customer care. Over a month since the completion of the pex replumb, I still can t use the master bathroom and shower. Luckily we installed isolation valves to this bathroom and have function throughout the rest of the house. Needless to say, I do not recommend this company.

Not sure if we will use John Moore again for our hvac services. We do like there plumbing services, and thought we would try them out, but felt our tune-up was more about what the tech could upsell us on. The tech was in and out in under twenty to thirty minutes. Not sure if he even went in the attic. We've had our system for eight years and it continues to blow really cold because we keep it serviced. We will be calling our other company we use since we feel this one fell short.

I was able to make an appointment for the next morning and my tech Dino did a great job and had my AC up by noon. I highly recommend them for any type of major household repair

Gave honest feedback on my system which is the worst I could have purchased, a Lennox. Mr. Noly Gomez even let me see a video of what he saw as he checked my unit in the attic. Also, he shared with me the option of their payment plan. I like that they gave me a free quote.

The team who diagnosed our problem Friday evening ...

The team who diagnosed our problem Friday evening on Memorial Day weekend were knowledgeable and experienced. They discussed our options, educating us so we could decide how to proceed. They even helped us remove a fence panel for access the next morning, and they moved our ducts to increase efficiency of flow. The technicians who installed the a/c unit and furnace did a great job sealing connections and making sure the entire thing was running before they left. They even swept the debris from the attic access off the floor. So, I found a/c not working Friday after work, called them at about 5:30 pm, guys came out Friday night to diagnose/troubleshoot -- it's now Saturday at 3:30 pm and we have a quiet a/c cooling the house! Great work, guys! Thank you!

These people are LIARS. Have no moral values. DO NOT TRUST John Moore services. My AC failed under warranty. They gave me appointment 8-11PM. No one showed up. I called next day. They gave me appointment 8-11AM. The plumber showed up. They messed up the appointment. Third day the time was 5-8PM. No one showed up. I got the work done from someone else although it was under warranty from John Moore.
If you have parts and labor warranty, you are put on last priority for the service as thery know they are not gpiong to make any money in that service call. Also, they hire anyone from the street and send them as technicians. The techs are not qualified at all.
Jiohn Moore spends money in marketing and telephone reception services so people fall in the trap of thinking this must be a good company. THIS IS THE WORST SERVICES COMPNY I ever dealt with.

It is amazing what happens when you treat others the way you want to be treated. This statement summarizes my recent experience. I had a pretty common issue with my drain lines that I needed to have look at. The initial person I had to come to my home didn t represent the company well from my perspective. However, when I called customer care my concerns were not only heard but action was taken and my issue was addressed. Monnah was amazing. Her desire to see the best outcome for the customer while taking the consideration of the business was excellent. She should be training anyone that would interact with customers. The gentleman that came to my home was very thorough and answered all my questions. When a customer spends money with a company especially thousands of dollars, it only makes good business sense to address their concerns. My rating and review is strictly based on my experience with Monnah and the gentleman she contacted to come to my home.

We had John Moore come out for an electrical problem. The rep told us that our electrical panel was old and dangerously defective. He could "hear it humming." He quoted us approximately $1400 to replace it, $1800 if we added another safety feature. I had the problem fixed by another electrical company that told me that the panel box was reasonably new and not at all defective. He repaired a simple wiring issue and checked out our entire home for $350. The rep from John Moore was either completely incompetent or dishonest. I suspect the latter. I would never recommend John Moore to anyone. In fact, I encourage others to avoid the company.

I am very pleased with the service, it was extraordinary to get such fine service so quickly. We will use them time and time again.

The technician informed me that it is not possible to do (1) at this moment as a higher ambient temperature is required for the service. The appointment scheduling team should have been aware of this.

As regards (2), the problem is as yet undetermined.
