This is the second time we have worked with John Moore and I was especially impressed the second time! Called and spoke with Caleb, representative, and he was so helpful, quick and efficient! He went out of his way to help, despite them not servicing our area after July, and thankfully someone is coming out to fix our a/c! Thank you, Caleb and John Moore for giving the best customer service a Texas girl has ever seen!!!

I called John Moore after I noticed a water leak in my ceiling and they were able to get an associate out that day. They took care of the leak and answered all of my questions, especially those of inquisitive son! I would highly recommend them for any plumbing issues.

Mauricio was very friendly and knowledgeable. He explained what i needed to have done due to the lightening strike during Harvey. I had other electricians come out and give estimates and was not quite sure due to many things but Mauricio made me feel comfortable with the explination of the services and cost of everything. Very pleased.

Everyone was very professional and kind. Every problem was explained in details and in a way that I understood . I had a lot of issues from the plumbing to the flooring in the bathroom. I have been using the company for many years and I would highly recommend them for your household issues.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. They scheduled, then calle...

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. They scheduled, then called old phone number. Had to reschedule and then simply never showed up. Rescheduled a third time and I called to confirm an hour before they were to show up. They confirmed and then didn't show up. When I called to find out why they didn't show up, they said a mix-up in the schedule and I would have to be rescheduled a FOURTH time. I will NEVER use a company who cannot understand and value their customer's time. My husband or I took off work each time to meet them and THEY NEVER SHOWED UP.

I could not have asked for better quality in service. The customer service when I called on Saturday evening was superb despite the inability to send a technician that evening. Terry was courteous and respectful of my time and family while at my home. He quoted me the repairs prior to completing any work which was greatly appreciated. I would recommend John Moore, more specifically Terry A as a technician for any work that is required.

Derick Mourning did a fantastic job!
he knows what he is doing! he came out and fixed a plumbing problem that the previous tech(who was young and inexperienced) messed up even more.
So happy they sent me someone who knows what they are doing!
definitely recommend him!

Always happy with our pest control specialist at John Moore. David C is personable, thorough and professional. It's so nice to know we will have the same tech for our scheduled maintenance. He knows the history of the home and we are comfortable discussing any issues with him. He always explains any findings and doesn't try to oversell. We have had a pest control contract with John Moore for many years and are completely satisfied. Ask for David C and you will be glad you did!

Service provider was nice. But I feel that 150 dollars per pound of freon is way to high. And that paying 369.00 for 30 mins of service is too high. And a RIP off. I will learn how to do it myself in future. But will not use this company again

I had John Moore re-pipe my house and had a tankless water heater installed, also. Wayne was very professional and knowledgeable when he presented the estimate for the work. He explained everything to be done in detail and gave me plenty of time to ask questions. Edward did a great job with the re-piping and installation part of the project. He was always on time, called before coming to the house, very courteous, personable and knowledgeable. He and his crew stayed quite late the second day in order to finish the project which I greatly appreciated. Overall I had a great experience with John Moore.

I m sorry to say but the prices are insane. They too produced thousands of dollars of so called needed items on a 2 year old home ! Them and Village are the most expensive in town I found out afterwards. When I asked why it cost so much to replace a $25 part his answer was we ve been in business for over 50 years . Huh ?

John Moore was the only plumbing company in Houston that would commit to a date for repairs after the massive Texas freeze in February. They sent two expert plumbers with all the necessary tools and equipment who did the job right. They also stand behind their work. Truly outstanding!

Their prices are actually better than some of the independant contractors I have dealt with in the past. I know I can always trust John Moore.

HAMAD, the technian for John Moore Service was on ...

HAMAD, the technian for John Moore Service was on time and professional diagnosed the problem. made
recommendations to further evaluate the system. He was honest, He made me a believer that there can be
honest service people, but I will only believe in John Moore Service. Prior to his visit, I had ARS that
came out for annual inspection.
That technician said my system was operational and fine, immediately after he left the system would not cool
at all. ARS sent that same guy back and he stated a diagnosis. I did not trust him so i had ARS send someone
else out. That second ARS technician gave an entirely different diagnosis.
I had American Home Shield technician came out as the 3rd technician that gave another diagnosis.
All 3 different diagnosis.
I saw your commerical with free diagnosis and call, Hamad was honest and there was nothing wrong with
my ac unit.
John Moore will be my service company for a/c, because Hamad is honest.

I called the John Moore dispatch number to request a service visit due to our AC failing to cool. This was on a Friday afternoon during a record heat wave in Houston. Dino arrived within a couple of hours. He quickly assessed the problem (coil freeze) and answered all of my questions. He came back the next morning after the coil had thawed out, checked the system again and added refrigerant. After verifying that the AC unit was operating within the acceptable limits he explained that should the freeze up reoccur, the issue may be equipment related but we will deal with that if and when it happens. I really appreciate Dino s stepwise approach to our problem. A less scrupulous serviceman/company would start replacing equipment and running up the bill immediately. I m a very satisfied customer.

The service persons were professional, good listener, responsive, and knowledgeable. I do wish I could get a warranty on this new, replaced, waterheater. I know I'd have to pay for the new warranty, but after a year if something happens between 2021 and 2022, even though the heater is new , I'd have to pay for a new heater, the replacement, and the service personal . That doesn't seem right. I'm praying nothing happens, but you've left me in the cold if it dose. The servicemen were informative and professional, so, I am satisfied with the work.

Multiple water supply pipes froze and burst in our attic during a winter storm. We had no running water in our house. Troy was able to come out 2 days earlier than our appointment was scheduled. A repipe was necessary. When he called in to get a crew lined up he decided we needed running water before they could arrange a crew and he himself re-routed our pipes so we could have both hot and cold water. This was above and beyond our expectations.

Overpriced over charged! They quoted me 3k for a ac repair and said a board was bad. Another company came out and said the board was FINE and got it up and running for less than 1k! liars and cheats! TECHS PAID ON COMMISSION BASED ON REPAIR COST! DO NOT TRUST!

Company is very professional in looks, appearance, and performance. Technician was thorough and explained everything and checked up on the progress several times. Installer was courteous, professional, informative, and a hard worker. He cleaned up after the job was completed and made sure I was completely satisfied before leaving. I recommend John Moore anyone who needs any work done and will use them again if needed.

AC went out. Went to the John Moore website. There was an early morning opening for service.
The technician was early within the given window.
The technician went through all the options in detail.
When it was determined that a new system was necessary, he went out of his way to get it financed & scheduled for installation the same day.
The installation crew arrived early, were professional the entire time, worked safe (even Covid-19 safe), and were done in a reasonable timeframe.

I called because when I flushed the toilet, the water kept coming up rather than going down the drain. Zane came out and tested the toilets and the tub and washing machine. He even went outside and checked the drainage hole and didn't find anything wrong. I appreciate his thoroughness and taking the time to explain things to me. Thank you so much! I appreciate the professionalism, knowledge, and patience that was shown by Pete towards my wife and I on his visit to our home. He took the time to answer all of our questions concerning repair/replacement of our hot water tank and maintenance of our A/C unit . Some of my past experiences with repair technicians, I've ask questions pertaining to there repair and it seemed as if I was being a pain for asking questions. Thank God for repair technicians such as Pete.

He explained thoroughly the repair options. He repaired and replaced the appliances very adequately. Service and work is very amazing and great. Price is a bit high but our technician was polite, informative and very skillful. Our ac went out and the very next day was fixed and our tech found more damage. He took care of our problem.

The large air filter in the attic needed changing, and Pete, who has been here before, came and was extremely thorough. He noticed that an air purifier that was supposed to be installed in June, along with other upgrades, had never been installed. He immediately made arrangements for that to be done today. COVID interfered with the availability of the purifier at the time. Appreciate the honesty and solution-focused action.

Our home had to have detailed electrical work done and our assigned Technician, Derric and his assistant were very thorough, courteous and professional while doing so. Anytime you re talking electrical work it can be very expensive, but it was definitely worth it for peace of mind and ensuring we would receive quality work.

Highly Disappointed. Recommended these folk to a friend. 3 years later, unit went out. Called them, want 1800.00 to fix coil they installed 3 years ago and likely damaged as 1 tech installed in ceiling on 2nd floor. They are quite slick. Wish you the best of luck cause you will never hear from us again in this lifetime. 450 for thermostat replacement, another dissatisfied customer reported. Money is their shepard, they shall always be in want........
