Emergency repair in parent's bathroom of a tiny water leak that had caved in the ceiling. Came out at 8:30am on Sunday after being contacted late in the day Saturday. Solid work, great technician, wore mask, cleaned up afterwards. Pricey, but worth the extra cost in this instance due to circumstances.
Jesse is the best. If you need someone who is extremely professional and also easy to work with, you need to ask for him to help with any improvement project that you have for your home and/or business. I am his number one fan.
John H. came out to look at our HVAC when having trouble with our Nest thermostat. He was on time, friendly, helpful, and informative. Also advised us of some duct work needing to be done but was not pushy. Will definitely call again when we need help!
I had an issue with my thermostat wiring and needed help getting a diagnostic test / evaluation of my HVAC system. Tom L. was unbelievably helpful, knowledgeable, and professional. I'm a first time home-buyer so I wanted to soak in as much information as possible as well, and he was happy to talk through long-term maintenance and issues. I've had several HVAC professionals perform maintenance before, but Tom walked me through exactly what he was doing and helped me understand each nuance of the process. He worked quickly, but made sure his work was done properly with several validation checks along the way. A+ customer service, I would highly recommend Tom's work and most importantly, his customer-centric focus.

I have a hole punched in my wall by their hvac installers, they didn't say anything to me before they left, I've called several times with no response after I just spent 5 figures with them. My wife is not happy.
Christopher E told me and providing estimates for a new AC unit, furnace and water heater. I knew the AC unit and furnace should be replaced but the water heater I wasn't sure. He showed me pictures that he supposedly took of my water heater, rusted out in several places. I told a friend if mine and he doubted the description of the pictures. Asked did he give me a copy. If course the answer was no. We went in the attic and my water heater is not rusted. Go figure. I'll call someone else that I hope will be honest with me.. Additional post, today is 5/26/2019. I've left 3 voice mails with the number listed below. Left home and cell phone numbers. Still haven't heard from customer service or anyone. No resolution, no return call, nothing.

Excellent service by Tom Lee today! Called this morning and in less than three hours the Field Supervior, Tom, was at our door. He spent over four hours here and thoroughly diagnosed and corrected our issue. Can t go a day without AC in Houston in the summer... so we are so thankful someone came so quickly and was able to leave our house with cold air blowing. So very thankful and appreciative!!!!

Alex repaired a leak in the main line. He was very professional and provided great advise on solving this recurring problem. He arrived well before the scheduled time which was great as it was thanksgiving day.
They came to my house ahead of time and was able to fix problem. The workers who showed up after the tech installed the new part in a few hours and did a good job. Not happy how they left my attic, I found 11 screws and a nail on my attic floor when I went in to look at the work. For what I paid I should not have to clean up after there work. Ac is working great.
Javier came in, demonstrated concern and used his knowledge/experience to unclog my shower. He took time after to educate me on how I can maintain it in the future and clearly explained how and why it happened. He contacted the company to let them know about the problem on the outside of my house caused by the remodel and I am waiting to hear from them regarding a fix!

I called John Moore come out to do an A/C inspection for a house I was attempting to buy. If I could, I would've given them 0 stars. Don't ever ask them to come to your house to fix anything. We had a plumbing issue and they came the next day and fixed the problem. ONE week later, the problem came back and it was even worse. We called them asking if they could come and fix the problem because it was very serious and we wouldn't be able to shower or use the restroom if needed. The man that came to fix my problem said he was SO confident nothing would go wrong. A lie. They said there was NO ONE that could come until tomorrow. Our only option was to call for someone else where they actually did a great job. We called John Moore services and complained to the manager and he said he could get a technician to come in 30 minutes... what happened to no one was available? Anyways, don't ever call them even if your life depended on it. They suck and they charge a lot of money. Don't get ripped off.

John C. came out to our home to fix what I thought was a plumbing issue. He quickly identified that the issue was with the roof rather than plumbing. From there he quickly got a hold of someone in their renovations department. In about 20 minutes he had us scheduled for a same day appointment to get the roof taken care of. I could not be more pleased with John's professionalism, i would absolutely recommend the use of John Moore Services. They put their costumers first which has become extremely rare, especially in the service industry.

Joseph Garcia came to replace the evaporator coil discharge plenum and install a condensate catch shield, which had not been installed as part of the coil replacement. This was needed because condensate was accumulating in the plenum and leaking out into the house. The repair has been completed and we will see how it performs. John Moore was very prompt in responding to the installation problem and installing a fix. Much appreciated.

Can you give NO STARS? They gave me an estimate to do a roof repair. They did not let me know when they were on their way, nor did they tell me the job was ever completed. $2,000.00 charge for work I don't even know was completed correctly. Poor customer service experience all the way around. No communication about the project or status of the work. VERY DISAPPOINTED ABOUT THE ENTIRE SITUATION. They wanted to give me a $50 discount for my inconvenience. I know that I will never call this company again.
We called these folks out to do some plumbing work on our kitchen they came and took apart our whole kitchen! After the water and things had been drained out the dishwasher and the walls i called them a week later to see when they were coming to do the rebuild, they told me they didn t know when they were going to have someone available to do the rebuild. My first thought was why would u take apart someone whole kitchen and not have someone to do the rebuild when it was time. My great grandmother is 97 years old and doesn t have anything in her kitchen! No cabinets anything they took apart everything and told us they didn t have anyone available or didn t know when someone was going to be available. I wouldn t recommend this company to anyone we are highly upset and plan on taking legal action! Shouldn t no way my grandmother should be living like this!

Wow, imagine anything positive that can be said about a service call. This had it all. The Master Plumber they sent, Frank, was over-the-top good. He made the awful situation into something positive. I'm definitely using them again. After the call, several customer service reps called to check on me and the finished job. From start to finish, John Moore had five start service... John Moore is worth ZERO stars. If you expect service do not call them. My business office called Monday (June 13, 2016) and needed service on our A/C as it suddenly stopped working over the weekend. They assured us we would have someone out between 12pm - 4pm. At 4:43pm the technician (Humpfrey) called and said he was at least another hour out and he could just reschedule for the following morning between 8am-9am. Well I just called to confirm and it turns out we aren't even scheduled to have a technician out until 10am - 2pm. Needless to say we will take any and all other business else where. I can't believe how poor their customer service is.

The water main to our house was busted by what ended up being a tree root. John Moore had a team on site with-in hours and they were able to locate, repair and have our water service working with-in the same day.
This company is a complete scam. They initially offered me free diagnostics for an issue with my heater and then as soon as they come to my house, they state that they need to charge me $299 for diagnostics because my system is "complicated". Then when I call the Houston office upset at the situation, the office staff claim that diagnostics charges are not a thing and will "talk" with the technician. The technician still didn't diagnose my system and used diagnostics from my 1st company that I had called, as John Moore was my second opinion to give me an estimate. This is a complete sham of a company and very unprofessional.
I called John Moore for my summer AC tune up and technician said I was low on freon/refrigerant(1/3 full) and there was a possible leak. He looked at my inside system and said he saw no leaks so it was probably really small or the system was not charged with freon appropriately. He said it would cost me $399 to recharge it and I figured I would think about it. I called my home warranty company and they sent someone out who said NOTHING was wrong with the system. My system was FULL AND DIDN'T need freon. This is soo UNETHICAL! He would have charged me $399 and done DONE NOTHING because he can't add freon to a system that was full.

John Moore is a hot mess. After 11 days my parents was still without a commode. Sure wish if I could upload the pictures to show what a horrible job, they have done. And did not complete, I had to find another company to do so. The bill was over 4,000 for a half bathroom. A wrong piece of 24 by 24 sheetrock, and a faucet that was not correct as well.
No permits was pulled, if any was needed. Who is allowed, to do plumbing work, or structural work without permits?????
Fixed furnace. Service was fast. Technician wore a mask (this is Jan '21) and shoe covers. Clean and knowledgeable. Can't ask for much more.
