Dino Jimenez our service tech was outstanding. He was very patient with our questions and completed the required repairs by the home inspector. We sold our home and the buyers inspector came out. Their guy was rude and impatient. We used your company for many things and Dino represented your company very well. Every technician we have had has the same courteous attitude and professionalism. Mr. Victor provided an excellent service. Arrived on time and took time to explain what was going to be done. He answer every question that I had. I give 10 starts if I could but they only had 5. I will definetly ask for Mr. Victor H again.

So happy with my John Moore service at my home today. I called yesterday and was able to get an appointment the following day on a Saturday. I requested a master plumber for my service as I had used another company previously, and we did not seem to cure the problem. The John Moore Services Journeyman Plumber, Russell Herd, who came to our home today is simply AMAZING! If I could give him 6 stars I would. He was timely, polite, and explained to me in terms that I could understand his diagnosis and recommendation options. He's like a teacher who comes to the house! OMG I just hung the phone with John Moore .....they are telling me that they are unable to come out and assess the problem with my AC because of where I live #Crosby...are you kidding me. John Moore has been out here in the past and completed a $10,000+ job for my parents who also live in Crosby.....WOW John Moore!!!! Just when I thought I could count on you! The rep also asked me how old was the unit....I told him 6yrs then he said "how old is the house" my response 6yrs. Then he said, ...yeah well we won't be able to help you right now, maybe you should call someonel else to help you.

The service technician visited our house and provided a free evaluation of our AC systems. The other options I approached wanted $49 to visit the house and provide an estimate. The service technician was friendly, knowledgeable, and went as far as to wear disposable coverings over his shoes each time he entered our house. Once he completed his free evaluation of our AC units, he provided me with three levels of solutions to pick from (short term fix, unit replacement, premium replacement).
John Moore may not be the cheapest repair you can get, but their professional level of service would be difficult to match or beat. If you want it done right the first time, with a great warranty on the work, these are the guys to call.

Had Hamad out today. He did a great job and diagnosed our issues very quickly. We ended up not using him for the whole repairs since the installing company that I have not liked the best has a full labor warranty as well. Overall a 5 star experience and will use John Moore again.

The technician was on time. He was professional and very friendly. I got to give him that. BUT 1) they charged me 69 dollars for him to come out and look at my AC. Took him 5 minutes max and he told me I had to replace my fan motor and my condenser. Total cost? $6199.98 I have a Lenox ac that is 4years old! I almost signed up but I decided to get a second opinion. Local AC guy came to my home inspected the AC and told me it would only take 30 dollars parts plus 50 labor to fix. Turns out my AC contactor was bad. (Capacitor was in prime condition) I thought this was too good to be true so I called another local AC guy who quoted the same 30 dollars part but then 75 labor. What I am saying is John Moore is a crooked company! Always get a second opinion. Both local guys took over an hr inspecting my system before they even quoted the price. Thorough inspection. I know this John Moore guy needs prayers. Honesty in business goes a long way.
Joseph Garcia came to our home to determine why our new furnace was not heating our home. He determined within a short period of time, wiring for the heat were not connected. No fault of John Moore but a problem with the manufacturer. We are thankful it was not a bigger problem such as a defective part that might have to be orders.
The free estimate call had me replacing all three damper actuators and the control board. The technician spent a lot of time trying to up-sell stuff not related to my problem. And after all was said and done, the quote was for nearly $3,000. Turned out all I needed was to replace one damper actuator that cost me just $200.
John Moore is great, I called requesting service and they had someone out the very next morning. Derrick M. was very helpful and solved our problem quickly! I definitely recommend both the company and Derrick specifically.
Had a tripped breaker box problem.. Andrew Estrada , the electrician, identified and resolved the problem quickly . He shared some suggestions and helpful tips regarding our lighting fixtures that would reduce heating and result in cost savings. Andrew was excellent.. very professional, had a nice personality, and you could tell he enjoys his job and helping people! I am happy we used John Moore and would recommend them for electrical problems.
The workmanship was archaic, the actual workman was rude. Sadly I would say Look eleswhere. Roped into expensive water remediation. Company recommended by JM. Equally as disappointing.

Use this company if you want to wait five hours on a Saturday only to be told after waiting five hours that their warehouse is closed on Saturday so they never could have done the install. Let them talk you into a Monday appointment and wait another four plus hours for them to show up with the wrong color and they would have to special order the right kind no thank you
Response time was fast, John was professional & identified the problem, offered solutions & I hope once we make a decision that we will have a good solution. I like y all & plan to use your services again.
So far everything has run smoothly. Everyone has acted promptly, friendly, professional and knowledgeable. My initial email was quickly returned with a phone call to set up an appointment with the first available time. We were assigned Dardouk who came promptly on schedule. I was the most recent rape victim of the John Moore company. What a load of crap this whole experience has been!! I WISH I had taken into account all the previous comments about the horrible experiences with John Moore before I agreed to have them repair the water main that burst in our front lawn. Now I have a 5 year loan to pay back the EXORBITANT bill for the amount of work performed!
They charged over $7000 to replace the line from the meter to the house, here's how it went: John Moore contracted three guys from Guatemala to dig a 60 foot trench at $7.50/hour (since I speak Spanish it came up in our conversation) from the meter near the street to our foundation, then laid $60 worth of pex tubing down and made 2 connections. In the process they disconnected my lawn sprinkler system and wanted ANOTHER $1000 to hook it back up! He claimed the backflow preventer needed to make the connection cost $999. After consulting Home Depot, I found several for under $90. Lies and deception. I guess I'm in the wrong business, I should have been a plumber!
I will NEVER use their "service" for anything EVER again - and NEITHER SHOULD YOU!!
STAY AWAY from John Moore! Don't make the same mistake I made and disregard all the horror stories. Don't fall for the catchy little jingle on the commercials, or the staged fake pictures of happy customers, it's all a lie!
If I can give them a zero I would. I had the tech call me stating that it s his early day so he won t be able to make the appointment. Who says that to a customer? Then they assured me that someone will get to me after I called them and told them what the tech said. 4 hours pass and no tech. I called and they said we cancelled the call upon tech arriving which no one made it to our house. Never owned up to their mistakes and I m here now trying to find another company in the weekend.
My kitchen drain was clogged. It was the only one in the house that wouldn't drain. I called seven local (Katy) plumbers, all of whom refused to quote me a price for running a snake through a cleanout until their technician had "assessed the problem". They're betting you'll pay their inflated price and not want to go through the whole scheduling process again since their technician will be standing right there ready to run the snake. John Moore quoted me a price on the phone for a couple of different scenarios. The plumbers that wouldn't quote a price could get there that day. I waited till the next day for John Moore because they were willing to quote a price on the phone. Their technician was courteous, prompt and actually arrived 15 minutes before the appointment window. I was very pleased with the service provided by John Moore and they will be my plumber of choice in the future.
I called John Moore this morning at my father s recommendation this morning and it s true: Father knows BEST! Called at 10:25am and spoke with Melinda and she was able to schedule me right away. Issues were low hot water pressure and water was not getting hot throughout the home. It s now 12:30pm and Miguel Santana, my technician, has already come and gone with both issues resolved. Miguel was so knowledgeable and explained everything he was doing in detail, including the different components of the water heater and how it all worked. They are capable, efficient, great communicators and very personable! Thank you so much Melinda, Miguel and the John Moore Company! I highly recommend this company just like my father and will be a repeat customer for years to come!

I called early Sunday and got Brian on the phone. He was super nice and talkative. He was able to get someone out the same morning. So Alex P came out to find a leak in our ceiling. He was very upbeat and friendly and arrived exactly when he said he would. It only took him a few minutes to find the problem and showed me what was up. I made an appt to have someone come look at the drywall damage. This is not the first time we've chosen John Moore services and we have always been happy with their employees and services. Our go to people for most home emergencies.
*update 10/8/2020 - had some unrelated drywall repaired since someone was already coming out for the ceiling. I wish I could remember the young mans name because he really did a fantastic job. Even with a flashlight and standing right in front of the damaged area, I cannot see where the holes are anymore.

I'm counting on them to keep it like this when the real summer comes along. The tech was thorough and exact on the inspection and provided some options to resolve the problem. I had a great experience my first consult and nice technicians but the second time they acted like they hadn't been to my home before and didn't seem to understand that the homeowner had already given permission. I was just too outdone with the ridiculous request like someone is trying to pull a fast one.
John Moore Services put in an air conditioning unit that I m having trouble with, that s under warranty mind you! And I called today to have it serviced and it s over 90 degrees IN THE HOUSE and someone was supposed to be here, confirmed by text message, and now the person has car troubles!! I am THOROUGHLY disgusted and will NEVER use this company for anything!!!

David Lawrence was by far the best plumber I ve come across; and that s a lot of plumbers. He does a superb job and is professional, proficient and most of all very nice. Leonard exceeded my expectations on the work he performed on my home. He was very customer oriented, professional and time efficient totally redeeming my overall experience with John Moore.
Scam alert! Big mistake ever! I called John Moore and got the John to the backside. First technician (Jason) came by and said that my pan is dry, but my blower and motor on the inside unit is out and gave me an estimate of $1600.00. I said I would wait and seek a second opinion, so he quickly lowered to $1400.00 (red flag). He also gave me a quote to replace the inside and outside unit for $13,000.00. The next day, a second technician (Mire) arrive to do the work, but left after he arrive to go "pick up" the parts which took 4 hrs from 10am -2pm. After he finished there was a trail of metal debris from the inside attic ladder to my first floor. He didn't bother to clean up his mess. I have to clean it up. Right after the work completed (first day), there was water overflowing to my outside roof. I reported this to their customer service when she called for a follow up and she said that she will send someone else out to fix the problem free of charges. Next day, Jason called me and said that it sound like I have a clog line and that they didn't do anything to the drain line, this is the same guy that said my pan was dry when he first inspected it. So, he said that he can come by and "remedy the problem" but it will be a charge. I told him no thanks and I will call and pay RAS to come and fix what John Moore created. Never heard from John Moore and their representatives ever again after that. I will NEVER, EVER use John Moore again even if it free.
Tech was professional. However, I felt the cost of service to repair/replace cut off valve of $810-1k, was pricey. Was it Covid or commercials driving prices?
Van #26066 M38638 Driving erratically, speeds well over 65mph, almost ran me off the road. Luckily I know how to avoid idiot drivers! Just happened 10min ago. Teach your workers how to drive properly!

I had an issue with a toilet that belonged to my handicapped brother that needed to be pulled up and re seated I called and was given a time frame of 12-4 pm the service man Robert called right on time and arrived exactly when he said he would he was extremely professional,honest and knowledgeable. He provided the information I needed to be able to make an informed decision.He was able to make the repairs the same day. I am very satisfied and would definitely recommend this young man to any family member. Thank you for your prompt,professional,honest services.
I really appreciated all the effort from the JM team. Humphrey showed me exactly what the issue with my AC unit was, and recommended a few different options that he clearly explained as well. After I decided what I wanted to do, they were able to get techs out that evening to replace several of my AC components. It took two techs just over 8 hours working nonstop, but they stuck with it and finished up just before 2am. They never even complained about having to go up and down from the fourth floor over and over again!
I don t have any comparison on cost so can t speak to that, but I can say if you want the work done right the first time then I would definitely recommend John Moore. Thanks guys!

This has been a horrible experience for me on my home. I spent over $5000 and my house is still leaking. They said it was one thing after another and still leaking. Also paid for low water pressure to be fixed charged me before it was fixed. Never check the meter to see if fixed. My handy man showed me that. Terrible.

I needed to have an electrician come out to assess the outlet for my stove. My technician, Derric Briscoe, was extremely polite and professional. He asked all the appropriate questions to determine how best to address my problem. He kept me in the loop about what was happening and asked for my approval before moving on with the recommended work.
Once he starting wrapping up, I asked what would it cost to have another service done although I had not requested it. He offered to take a look and gave me an estimate. He completed the job I was unable to do with ease. I really appreciated that he took the time out to look into the additional work.
He had a nice sense of humor too. All in all, it was a very pleasant experience!
