Miguel Santana was here to check if the gas line from the wall to the cooktop in the kitchen had a leak. He did a great job of explaining things. He tightened a connection & I m not smelling any gas. He also gave me some info on flow-tech water systems. Great visit.

My A/C line had a leak and all the freon was gone. John Moore was awesome. They had a tech out the next day. I have an older system and my Tech Jason explained everything he had to do and how much. It was expensive but it was expected. Jason came back the next day and took care of my A/C. He did not try to sell me a new Unit knowing I was not ready for that investment yet. He was able to work with what I have and actually made my existing system Moore (get it more) reliable. Thank you
As usual the John Moore representative (Russell) arrived on time, was neatly dressed & groomed, polite, professional & knowledgeable. Within a few minutes you felt like you had known him for years! I have had repair work done in the past with this company & I can truly say that I have always felt comfortable with their representatives from the office, sales & repair crews. They are just great people to deal with.

Main Line coming into house froze up, and pipe needed to be replaced. I wasn't able to get hold of anyone (Texas Hard Freeze, no plumbers available), including my go to plumber. Original appt with John Moore was scheduled as almost 3 weeks out. I made appts with several plumbers due to the long delays, just in case. John Moore ended up calling me the next day and got Alex out to the house that evening. Alex was professional, courteous, and friendly. He was on point with Covid safety practices (mask, distancing, ringing doorbell and then standing back, etc...), he never felt like he was rushing, even though I was the last call of the evening, and he fixed the issue. He was informative and gave other recommendations, but was never pushy. It hasn't been 24 hours even since the work was performed, but so far so good. My only non-exceptional point was probably price. They were a little higher than I expected, not absurdly high, but more than I expected. That said, I still gave Alex and John Moore a 5, as they hit the mark on all other factors, as of now.
Called to make an appointment for service of our A/C, heating and water heater, no problem there. Three days later had a call to make sure we were OK for their plumber to call to repair our leak. But we don't have a leak, I want our A/C, heater and water heater serviced. OK says the guy, asked a few questions about how old the system is etc. The next morning a plumber arrives, not able to service the A/C, heater and water heater.
What a waste of time, and people, listen to what your customer wants.
Ray was very knowledgeable and helpful. He analyzed the situation and made some suggestions. The problem was solved in a timely manner and very professionally. I would definitely request Ray again if I have a plumbing problem. John Moore is lucky to have him! He was very intelligent and informative.
Charles James the technician from John Moore showed up on time to inspect and clean my AC, he knew what to do. He went up to the attic and checked the evaporator condition and recommended replacing the filter. Then he took the temperature readings and documented that. He explained to me everything. Then he checked the condenser, compressor, blower and all necessary parts and explain their condition and what's need to be done. I am happy and satisfied with Mr. James work and performance.

Customer service,price and honesty is what people gravitate towards when business looses this than you might as well consider closing your doors because you have lost your customer. The overall service was outstanding but its unfortunate the understandings of what was originally generated with the phone service communication on what needed to be accomplished per my request was definitely a misunderstanding but Thanks ,we resolve the problem and repair were completed in a professional matter now we can move on to a productive business negotiations in the future. I would recommend your services to other that respect fair prices,customer service and honesty have a wonderful day.!!!
If there were a way to do a 0 star, I would choose that. I am completely disgusted with John Moore. I have been a customer for many years, paid them thousands of dollars for plumbing and AC work, including $5K for a new unit 3 years ago. We ve had issue after issue on this unit. Presently, I have no AC upstairs because after having them come out a month ago, saying it was an insect in our thermostat, charging me a trip fee that they weren t supposed to (did get that refunded), it still not working properly, then when they came again wanted to recharge the unit for over $700 (which my husband who knows about AC argued the point that Freon could not be contaminated without a leak and them agreeing to do it for free) did not solve the problem, then sent someone out a 3rd time who said it was the capacitor which we paid $150 for the warranteed part that costs $15 to be replaced and again did not solve the problem, then the 4th guy now says it s the fan motor which is also a warranteed part will cost $1200 to replace but he d give us a 50% discount to make it $600. I ve asked other AC people and this part would be changed out by them for less than $300 and this is not their original work to repair. The part itself is only $127. And after all this, I m not sure this would solve the problem. If they had their way, we would have now spent $1500 to fix a waranteed AC only 3 years old. It s like, let s just try everything that can cost you money and eventually we might find the problem. If not, at least we can still get you to pay for us to guess. I have no faith in them anymore. To top it all off, everyone we have spoken to on the phone and in our house all said our warrantee was 5 years for parts and gave me the run around for a week to get a copy of the original paperwork, which states 10 years for all parts. Why lie about it at 3 years? Prepping for me to be conned at year 6 to replace the unit again or what? So, I have a hot house and have to find someone willing to work on a warranteed part on my AC that I can trust won t do what John Moore did to us.
Mr. James was very thorough. He identified a failing capacitor and replaced it. Identified a mold problem in the attic and addressed that on both units. During his inspection, he identified a leak in the water heater which was causing rust in the drip pan.
We requested a proposal for a new air conditioner that is now 10 years old and at the end of the line . We dealt with ne of the excellent people from John Moore and are looking forward to our new unit
In May I contacted John Moore because my toilet was leaking at the base. They came out and really didn t tell me why it was leaking but they hit me with their best, better, and good prices. They also called out another company to come out. They cut the bottom half of the walls(sink high) out and convinced me to file it on my insurance which I did because I couldn t afford their prices. With that being said, I did and it was approved. So now I m receiving 2 checks from the insurance company, one for me and the other for the company that cut my wall up. Don t understand why I m only getting $400 and they received a $2000 check! $2000 to cut holes in my wall! Come to find out it was the wax ring that needed replacing. A $6 wax ring! With that being said, if John Moore would have told me that from the beginning, it would have saved all of us time and money. But instead I feel like I was just screwed out of $2000 of my money! So now I have $400 to fix my wall. Installation, ply wood etc. I called John Moore not the other company and now...lesson learned!
We had a technician come out this morning, from the review website his name was Pedro. He was amazing. Professional and knowledgeable and happy to educate me as I hawked over him. He was personable and patient. We had used a crappy company called Quality Air of America who did not know what they were doing and tried to scam us out of a lot of money. John Moore Services was the exact opposite. The wiring problem was diagnosed, no BS included. Technician got right to work. Solved the problem and did not leave our home until he ran multiple tests ensuring our soon to be newborn baby would not be left out in the cold. It must be tough working Thanksgiving weekend but our Tech was all cheers. Best part, reasonably priced. We have heat! Now, they did overbook and were able to come out the first weekend we scheduled but they made up for it because our tech was here right at 10 am and even called us when he was 5 mins away. This is five stars. Don t get robbed or fooled by any other company. Thank you JM you have a customer moving forward.
I wanted to add a 30amp. breaker outside for my welding machine and install a surge protector for my house. They won t be doing the work because some problems on my end. I will use John Moore when I make the corrections on my end. They did a great job when they installed my electrical box several years ago and I know they will do a professional again. The technician that came out was very professional and well educated in his field, with people like this young man representing John Moore I ll use you every time.
After the first crew didn't do the greatest of work replacing my AC system, Mario and his crew came out and reworked everything, smiling and professional even working in a hot Texas attic all day
Initial contact with employee was favorable. Follow-up contact with employee was very aggravating. Customer had to exit phone call due to run around received ftrom John Moore employee.
I setup an appointment with John Moore for a leaking drainpipe in my kitchen. However, the "technician" that came out was really just a salesman. He spent 45 minutes looking at all the other stuff in my house that they could sell me on. Ended up giving me like 5 quotes for stuff I didn't at all care for ranging from like $10k-$20k (like replacing all the galvanized piping, adding water softeners, etc). Then when he finally got around to the quote, it was like 4x more expensive than I thought it would be (I ended up fixing it myself for $20 in parts and about 30 minutes of my time. they wanted to charge me $1400) Then he told me that he couldn't even complete the repairs today, they would have to setup another appointment for later in the week....
I'm mostly disappointed that I wasted a day waiting on a sales call, that wasn't even the actual repair appointment, which they never told me on the phone. He could have completed the repairs in the amount of time he spent here trying to sell me huge unneeded repairs.
I tried John Moore for the first time and I must say I was very surprised at the level of communication with me from the time the appointment was scheduled to the direct communication from the Technician himself. I Technician arrived on schedule and was very professional throughout the visit. The Technician was able to quickly diagnose my problem and provide a reasonable solution that would resolve my issue. The Technician provided to information that was valuable in preventing future issues. I plan on using John Moore for all of my future home repairs I would recommend John Moore to anyone in need of a professional reliable home repair company.
My electrician lied to me and told me that each of breakers that were bad were going to cost me $345 each due to a computer chip. I just paid $35 per breaker and everything is working now. Not cool John Moore.
This is absolutely the worst air conditioning company! They stood us up on numerous occasions for our free estimate. We debated about not getting a free estimate but decided to since we've been their customer for years. All we had done was a free estimate and didn't go forward with any work. Ever since the estimate, we've received non stop harassing phone calls saying we owe money (for work we never had done). At the end of each phone call, they promise they'll fix the invoice and stop calling us. This has yet to happen.

A positive experience. I had a board over the garage that I thought showed evidence of termites. John Moore sent one of his termite specialists over to examine the board and he said it was just board rot probably caused by water leakage. I was worried that this was going to run into a lot of money, but I was impressed that they were very honest and said there was no termites. Also, there was no charge. It was a free inspection.
Sky Tiwater was the person who came out to see my A/C. He was very nice, respectful, and had quick answers to all of my questions. He was even friendly with my puppy.

I was very impressed with the patience and expertise Jesse showed when he came out to evaluate some water damage to my house from a roof leak. Jesse climbed in the attic with me and worked with me to identify the areas of the house that appeared to have water damage. Jesse answered all my questions. I was very pleased with the service Jesse provided.
Mr. Gomez the tech who came to my house inspected everything and was so nice and friendly. he helped me understand so much about the problems I was having and even called his office so they can start fixing it on the same day. I m so glad he spoke spanish because my mom had a lot of questions about the things we needed to replace! the warranty is for 10 years! I m so happy I chose them for my repair men & Even happier he called his team to do it on the same day because I have a 7 month old at home and the house was getting very hot during this quarantine!

"Call john get moore" yeah more like call John bc you'll need Moore repairs to your BRAND NEW hvac system. Customer service is good but install and actaul service I haven't been pleased with. Have had to call 6 separate times in less than 16 months to have repairs done to a brand new hvac system.
Troy Gallow from John Moore Plumbing came to my house today to look at my water heater as I requested. He was polite and professional as he gave me a detailed assessment of the current condition, and outlined what options were available to me. He seemed genuine in wanting me to get what I wanted with no pressure from him. He followed through immediately - as promised - with detailed quotations for the alternatives. I'd be comfortable recommending him to others based on how well he dealt with me.

Marco built and installed my new electrical panel. The job, which took over six hours, was done on one of the hottest days. When finished, the area was left clean. Marco was very informative, explaining the process before he started. He is truly a professional.
Not so good, bought a new AC unit paid over 15k, send unlicensed two guy to install it, electrical work not completed as I was promise by Brooks, try to call him and didn't answer his phone, unlicensed tech! Wow, my friend bought two units for less price, for two story house. Y paid double and got a unit that don't know when it was made, he promise me. 2017, don't see that mark any where, I have to say until electrician comes I'll give the rest of the money, also the Mexicans were leaving and a some vents were completely not blowing any air at all.. plus more issues.
