Technician showed up gave me price to run the cable through the main line. Spent less than 10 minutes told me he ran the entire drum of cable but still clogged. Said he need to pull the toilet in the center of the house and run the cable 405.00 additional. When I asked how that would help since he ran 75 feet of cable long enough to run the entire length of the house he said it would not have reached even though it is only 30 feet away. Asked what happens if that does not work said then he will give price to fix the problem. This technician is working hard only to pad his wallet.

John Moore crew (Yoel & Jose) arrived on time, and after putting down drop cloths to protect my floor, they went straight to work. They removed both the evaporator coil and the compressor in short order. The installation of the new evaporator & compressor was extremely well done! I am amazed at how quietly and how well my new AC is functioning. I will recommend John Moore to my friends.

Marco did a great job replacing our breaker box in a timely manner. Considering the scope of the job we experienced minimal downtime. All breakers were marked after installation and is of great benefit should the need arise to cut power in a specific area of our home.

Sky was friggin' awesome. My power was off and he was still able to professionally spot the issue with my A/C. He fixed the issue within 3 minutes. When my power came back on, sure enough, Ty's fix resolved my A/C issue. He also gave me a couple of suggestions to avoid my A/C not cooling again. Thanks chief!!!

March 2020. My A/C unit would turn on but no air (hot or cold) would come out in the house. John Moore came out and gave me 3 options to fix it: A capacitor for $300, a new blower motor for $1,300, or a new system for $10k. I decided on the cheapest fix, the capacitor. John Moore insisted that the $300 option would only last a few days or a week at most and they pushed for me to get the $1,300 option. I ended up choosing none. I made some calls and found a guy who did side jobs. Fixed the issue much cheaper and said the capacitor was the only thing wrong and would last for years. Bottom line: John Moore lied about the capacitor to try and sell a more costly option. Do your homework and shop around.

John Moore arrived a day early. Tech Clint drained the old tank and removed. A new tank was installed by Clint and Charles with a new gas valve and water sensor. All work was completed in a timely manner and cleaned up after completion. Both techs performed professionally.

Called them about my broken AC. They quoted us 90% more than what needed to be done. Called Tyser Air Conditioning & Heating and they fixed it for 9,000 less! John Moore is pretty much a rip off.

I called John Moore to request a Sunday emergency call...we were without air conditioning Saturday through the time that our Field serviceman, Terry Ainsworth, arrived. He got our air up and running and we are finally getting some relief from this southern heatwave!
Terry was knowledgeable, extremely courteous, and explained exactly what he was doing every step of the way.
I recommend John Moore and Terry Ainsworth!

I guess John Moore is one of those companies that just got too big and lax. I gave them two chances because I heard they did quality work. In all honestly, the work product was not bad, but when it came to customer service, this company is undoubtedly subpar based on both of my experiences with them. Numerous errors made in the billing and scheduling, and a complete lack of communication thereafter. In summation, don't be fooled by the name and the marketing, go elsewhere for not only better customer service, but better pricing. After consultation with other companies (subsequent 2nd opinions), John Moore charges much more and tries to sell you what you don't really need.

I use them for plumbing and also before for other services like Pest Control. I love the free estimates and their prices are reasonable. John Moore is my go to. They do not dissappoint.

I have to give them 5 stars! They were professional from the start. Called for them to come out for a service and Mr. Wallace came that same day (he was friendly and knew his stuff and about the company) . Ended up getting the service 1 day after. Juan and Mike were awesome and knowledgable. They were professional hour the job done and took their time to make sure everything was done correctly and nothing was missed! They had to come back 2 days later because the traps caught something. I called ther night before around 11:30pm and spoke with a lady that took down my message and I wad called the next day in the morning with an appointment. I would highly recommend John Moore- hands down! They impressed me completely. Great service no wonder their reviews and reputation are so high!

Customer service rep was horrible and couldn't care less about my family's time or the fact that the appointment that was set for our electric service was being canceled. She told me that they would not be able to come out because the techs were doing installations and wouldn't be finished until 7 or 8pm. When I asked why they had set my appointment for a window of 4 to 8 pm and then tell me they want to go home after their other work she repeated that they will want to go home after they finish their current installs. I asked again what the reasoning for a 4 hour window until 8pm that they wont come to and she said " ya, they need to fix that " ! I think i actually heard her smacking her gum as she spoke with no regard for the fact that my daughter has no power in her room currently and that i called an electrician to make sure my family was safe. I am in sales for a high end auto dealer and i would be fired if i treated customers the way this lady spoke to me, let alone letting me off the phone after i canceled the appointment and lost the business for the company because i put off the air that i don't care about you at all!! I will never use them again and will refer anyone i know or speak to, which is a lot of people in my business that they just don't care and not to use them. John Moore's Customer Service Was Attrocious!!

I called John Moore because their TV ad advertised contact-free service, and all I needed was some freon added outside at the unit. But Skye wanted $500 to add a lb. of Freon, which is an absurd rip off, and 500% too high. I m a general contractor, and they knew it, and still tried to over charge me. All consumers should beware, better yet run away fast. This is not the first bad experience with them for me, but definitely the last!

Anyone using this company will pay extremely more than other accredited plumbing companies. They quoted me $1099-$1400 for a leak under the sink. I had the exact same work they recommended completed by another licensed plumber for $240. And it could have been less if we chose a cheaper faucet. John Moore wanted to charge me a minimum of $429 for the cheapest faucet alone, not including anything else! Highway robbery!

After about 90 minutes the HVAC tech ( Hamad Dardouk ) arrived. I found him to be intelligent, experienced, & articulate. After analyzing my AC problem, he offered the 3 alternative repair options. I chose the band aid ,or minimal solution. The work was completed, & I was chillin within the hour. As usual the John Moore experience was the quickest, & the best. I will continue to use them for all my maintenance needs, & would highly recommend them to everyone.

I would give less than one star but I can't. Beware of the "we will give you a free estimate" it cost me over $350.00 dollars and nothing was fixed. After they arrived the guy said a few things which I am sure he tells everyone and then tells me he would need to send a camera down the line but it would cost me. He sent the camera down the line and quickly told me the line needed to be replaced. First he said only about 10 foot and then he said the complete line. The line is about 50 foot long. He came back with a price of around $3700 for 1he 10 foot section and around $8500 for the whole line. The funny thing about this is he didn't say anything about the root that had grown in the line about a foot away from the clean out. Replaced about 2 foot of the line and that fixed the problem. Total cost was less than $75.00. So you do the math. I can promise one thing I will NEVER call them again.

Tom L. was my technician to clear out my AC drain. He was one of the most knowledgeable technicians I've met with and was very thorough throughout the service. He identified the issue, walked me through each step of the process, and once I agreed, he even allowed me to shadow him and ask questions. He was also extremely polite, courteous, and gave me tips on preventive measures. Definitely would recommended Tom L. for any of your HVAC needs with John Moore.

I'm posting 3 stars because I honestly didnt go through them. I have bad credit do to a consolidation. I called john moore and they came on time and did an inspection for a repipe. I was told over 14000 to do it. My mouth dropped. The inspectors were kind and professional but I almost broke down at that quote given they were the first ones I saw that had financing. I went to Steven at Repipe Specialist and got an estimate with financial aid for 7800. Almost half. Look around before you go here. I'm not saying the labor isnt worth it because I found someone else but look around before you agree.

Mr. Cantu came to my house today and will extremely professional and helpful. He may have saved me several hundred dollars by pointing out that I did not need a new water heater like I thought. John Moore services may have lost a couple of hundred dollars by not putting in a new water heater for me today but I assure you they have made a customer for life I will be using them for many Jobs in the future. Some body recommended call John Moore Pluming. the company immediately answered my questions and made schedule. Chase was wonderful. He is very personable and friendly. He explains everything very well so that I fully understood my options. The price was so high that I was shocked. That's why I tried last night to repair my toilet myself, but I just did not have the proper tools. Chase worked fast amd tested everything thoroughly before he left. We used John Moore to replace our A/C unit after it completely went through a catastrophic failure and had a very helpful Rep. that walked us through the whole process and helped us with any questions that we have about a new unit while we were picking one out.

The technicians came out the same day and replaced the whole A/C unit and even fixed old issues that could have been a problem in the future because of the old unit and how old the house is. We really appreciate all the help to get our house back into the COOL so my family can rest easy at night.

Air Conditioner compressor stopped kicking on, Saturday night. John Moore opens at 7am on Sat and Sunday! Technician called ahead, arrived when promised, and was courteous and professional. Within 10 minutes he found a minor problem with my overflow pan level switch, and after a quick adjustment and I was back with A/C. This on a Sunday morning. No charge. Great service!
