Center of excellence. The courtesy of the staff depends on the wards and the days ... Sometimes the waiting times by telephone are a bit long. Free parking before the new entrance where the cash desks and the acceptance are. For a fee and someone free by entering the old part.

They forgot to take care of my mother's hypothyroidism and at times she died, I did the analysis and she was very serious, I mentioned it and they did not even apologize, she was brought there by Melegnano x pericarditis and on the folder clearly indicated that it took Eurirox for severe hypothyroidism ..... I really do not know what to say, only that I hope to not have to resort to such people anymore.
Despite the 30 hours in the emergency room before admission, I have to thank the doctors and all the neurology staff who followed my father adequately 8 months ago. An affectionate thank you to the head nurse of the ward, to the doctor Dato and to the doctor, that I don't remember well the last name, that has the blond hair and I have always called her the angel of neurology.
It would be handy to have a more efficient online service to view the nasopharyngeal swab reports. People shouldn't send emails to ask for their report or, even worse (given the health emergency), go to the clinic personally to be able to collect the documents. I would say to invest more in this type of service.
I was admitted to this hospital for a second pneumothorax at the same lung (the first I had December 17, 2017 and had been operating with a drain). After 6 days of hospitalization and after changing two drainages (the first drain was too small), they have left me without surgery and go home telling me that I was fine. Unfortunately the knowledge of physicians and their skills related to the disease are minimal. I had asked to have surgery but doctors not having the skills they preferred not to do it and let me go home worse as I was before. For every six days of hospital I asked the doctors that I wanted to work but they ribattevano each time saying it was not recommended (although all the doctors with whom I later spoke to said that the operation was to do absolutely).
After three months. I was discharged from the Hospital of San Donato on 17.01.2018 and after just a week, the 25/01, I was back pneumothorax. This time I went to San Raffaele hospital where there thoracic surgery and where I was told that there were competent doctors. I was operated on 29/01/2018 but due to adhesions due to too many pneumothorax it was not possible to operate through thoracoscopy (minimally invasive approach). Therefore, it recourse open-air! All this was caused by the fact that doctors of San Donato does not have wanted me to work if I have been operated before all this would not have happened. I just hope that physicians reading this review to understand that in some cases it would be better to work right away and do not let the patient go home. In fact, after the second pneumothorax likely to reoccur third episode is 70%! In conclusion I do not recommend anyone to go to the hospital in San Donato for any operation or control chest.
I thank all the pediatric cardiac surgery, pediatric cardiology and intensive care staff. Exceptional attitudes on the part of all the doctors and nurses, departments that have no equal in all of Italy, indeed in Europe. A special greeting goes to DOCTOR VARRICA from ALISYA SALEMI
I point out an unnecessary expense for a useless visit requested by the attendant. A great deal of time lost to obtain a banal telephone number of a private person to turn to, given that in plastic surgery it is not the aesthetic one. Fortunately for me it was not a treatment to remove years and wrinkles but a request from the attending physician for the removal of a cutaneous neoformation to the right eyelid.
I was admitted to the eighth floor for about a week for a spine surgery. My compliments to dr. Longo and Dr. Sanfilippo. A heartfelt thanks to all the nurses, especially Lory, Radu and Isa, people of the heart and generous beyond their institutional duties
I must say that the hospital of San Donato after 25 years where I had already a negative experience with my father after 25 years I have my aunt hospitalized for a month and a half where they wanted to quit after three days because she was healed after 5 days urgently operate a tumor then they want to put in rehab then realize that the rehabilitation is not needed then they want to put in RSA then they want to put as hospice then call for histological examination by saying that the histological examination is ready and is to be withdrawn and then say that the patient is no longer RricoveraTa them .. a shameful thing .. a unique disorganization .. I recommend a priori this bad hospital!
PESSIMO: to say in which ward you have to go they make you go around the whole hospital, tossing yourself from side to side. Total lack of communication between departments, total lack of knowledge of the departments themselves by the administrative staff. Even the emergency room makes water on all sides. TO AVOID!
Excellent medical and nursing care in the ward where I was hospitalized for complex operation and long hospital stay. I am not able to have my say on other departments, but having done batteries of exams I have always found kind and helpful people.
Very positive experience from a professional, organizational and human point of view. The ease of booking online through the dedicated app, the punctuality, kindness and competence of Dr. Pecoraro and the nurse who assisted her, Lucia, have made an unpleasant and feared exam, a reassuring experience and of great confidence. Thank you.
From the end of September 1988, lastly 16.03.2016 that I attend the IRCCS Policlinico San Donato for my daughter Simona, specifically the pediatric cardiology department directed by Dr. Frigiola and Dr. Carminati and here I dutifully have to underline the great professionalism and availability of all the staff, including the nurses and their managers, as well as the order and cleanliness that reign in the ward. the only handicap is really the acceptance where for which we would advise the continued opening of a third window.
My son operated today by the doctor frigiola .. An angel ... Thanks to the intensive care to the doctor isgro 'Another angel .. anesthesiologists ... Everything else seems chaos but it is not are well organized and go with the turbo .. excellent pediatric and adult cardiac surgery .. Heartfelt thanks to all the Saint Donato ...
The hospital is no longer as efficient as when there were efficient cardiologists of years ago even neurology is not the best to bring back those who had to leave
Bad treatment. At the entrance a nurse listlessly gives approximate indications. I go to do the resonance and the technique begins to treat me with disdain calling me dear as if we were close relatives. I tried twice to stop the exam because of the pain I felt but the technique was careful not to stop and instead complained that I continued to move.
On the other hand I was a solvent 400 euro for a sample of rudeness and indifference worthy of the worst surgeries.
Only the comfort and professionalism of some other figures can save you. I forgot the sad scene of the invoice I have to show up with the printed invoice to collect the result for another paid invoice that I can happily show from your site.
I made a cardiological visit in September 2019 in which they told me that they would contact me to see what to do. Since then I have not heard from anyone. Then a few days ago (February 2020) I contacted the reservations center to ask me if I dived to speak CT and resonance (???). I replied that I was falling from the clouds and that I would try to contact the doctor. I call the switchboard but they hang up !!
COLUMN SURGERY In the month of January 2019 I underwent a surgical procedure discectomy L5 - S1 + artrodresi by the stabilization of L4-L5. My experience is completely positive from every point of view. Featured Dr. Longo Alessandro outstanding neurosurgeon and expert who worked on my speech. Besides being a professional is also a doctor who does his job with passion and attention to the patient emphasizing the human aspect. Positive experience in the department that is not huge can guarantee greater 'attention. Excellent doctors and staff of the operating room.
ON 1 DECEMBER 2017 I BOOKED THE EXAMS VIA WEB AND AS THE INSTRUCTIONS RECEIVED THE HOSPITAL WOULD CONTACT ME WITHIN 5 DAYS BY PHONE TO FIX AN APPOINTMENT. TO ALL TODAY I HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANY FEEDBACK. FROM 2 PM TO 4.30 PM NO TELEPHONE OPERATOR REPLYED TO CONFIRM ME IF MY PRESENCE AT THE CUP WAS NECESSARY. I REMAIN ONLINE TO NOT LOSE THE PREVIOUSLY. I AM STILL WAITING. AFTER 20 MINUTES, THEY TELL ME TO TRY AGAIN AND THE LINE FALLS. I INSIST AND TRY AGAIN FOR 6 TIMES TO CONTACT BUT WITHOUT SUCCESS.
I was operated in September 2014 by Dr. Randelli Filippo for the implantation of a hip prosthesis, a successful intervention, excellent professional, prepared and very helpful Stefania
First aid with zero organization. Time of entry 3 in the morning visited at 8 ... And at 11 we are still here !!! But so one has time to die !!! Disinterested staff .. Very few doctors !!
For a first hematological visit with the NHS, they proposed an appointment at the end of September (we are in March). I refused so I have proposed "a visit to 70 euros, PROMOTION for the patients of the hospital of San Donato" .... maybe next time I will propose the 3x2 ...... I have no words .....
Preventive examination at digestive endoscopy. Doctor and staff available for any questions and to provide clarifications. Invasive but impeccably performed examination. Report available in a month. I can't comment on other departments that I don't know
"Assembly line for cardiac operations", all aimed at entering / exiting as soon as possible. Center of excellence with regard to the intervention itself, bad the rest. No preventive examination on the possible consequences of anesthesia (a subject widely known and treated), In the case of sequelae due to anesthesia (very numerous, precisely because of the lack of prevention), no type of support or management capacity is limited to calling family members on site and to close them (literally) in the ward 24 hours a day.
in cancer care for years happy to have arrived here, after years at INT availability of doctors (DeToma, Steffano, Lagoussis, Arrigoni ...) and nurses (the 4th A in the first place, the 6th A)
Bad nursing staff for a bad experience with a nurse who could not even put a catheter. To explain better, the nurse was' in his change of turn, to hurry, was wrong to put the catheter in my father, creating strong bladder problems. The doctors are very well prepared.
Today, my father's experience: in the day hospital, fasting this morning while waiting for an intervention scheduled for the afternoon. He waited until 8 pm when he was informed that the intervention would be postponed until tomorrow. When asked if he could have a meal he was told that nothing was left. The same experience was repeated last year during a day hospitalization. Neglect of the place and apathy of the health personnel. Being at the mercy of a similar system is nothing short of bleak.
I point out that x the withdrawal of a report I was told that I must physically go to the structure or delegate someone.I wonder how, in 2020, the report is not addressed to the national health record or better still sent by email, given that x mail they do not send it to residents of the Lombardy region. Another half day of time / money used to make up for a lack of total organization.
Cardiac surgery department. My dad was hospitalized in January 2019 ... nothing to say about the medical staff ..... excellent ... As for the poor nursing assistance and rude nurses.
Mandatory buffer for returns from abroad carried out at Orio al Serio Airport on 25/10. I was told that the results would arrive within 24h, and on the website it says that the results would arrive in 48-72h. At the moment (5 days passed), I haven't received any results yet, and so I can't even work and move. No response from the group, neither by mail, nor by call, nor by message although I have been trying to contact them for 3 days.
I thank prof. Giovanni Nano, chief of vascular surgery, and the whole team that took part in the intervention of my wife, particularly capable, kind and courteous (except for some young doctors). My criticisms and complaints go instead to the pre and postoperative organization: preoperative due to a long journey for the necessary exams (almost two months) and postoperative for the disorganization in managing the bed and despite the hospital being fully active the possibility hotel integration was suspended.
I have no words. I haven't heard from my mother in 18 hours. On the phone you can't talk to anyone and they tell you to wait for the doctor's call. You cannot leave family members in a state of anxiety for a whole day.
Operated last year for breast cancer, I want to compliment and recommend to all women with the same problem, both in terms of professionalism in following the course of the disease, and for humanity demonstrated by making you feel like a person and not a number, Dr. Carbonaro who with a lot of humanity managed to communicate to me the result of the ultrasound and at the same time advise me by addressing the very good Dr. Steffano who followed me masterfully in the operation giving me so much confidence and confidence, the whole oncology team Dr. De Toma in particular Dr. Giacobone for her sweetness and ability to convey security, I thank all the nurses of the day Hospital I had to do chemotherapy for the many laughter done and last but not least the plastic surgeons for the excellent work done in the reconstruction in particular Dr. Zilio, Dr. Leone, and Dr. Villani. Thanks again I will never cease to thank you and keep it up because you are fabulous
be ashamed ... 4 days and 4 hours of waiting on the phone and at the counter for a reservation .. rude and unprofessional answers ... Thinking that you should be at our service ... Complaints? here there are people who struggle with life ... Other than complaints ... Make them the complaints, since time .. thanks
Hereby I wanted to thank the cardiac surgery department on the 4th floor of the San Donato polyclinic, where I was hospitalized from January 16 to today.
I was able to be treated and assisted in an impeccable manner by the nursing, support and rehabilitation medical staff.
I was very impressed by humanity, by the great professionalism and availability of everyone.
It is a department of excellence as well as post-operative intensive care, where professionals of great human and professional depth operate.
Special thanks to dr. Giamberti who operated on me (as well as endured with all my anxieties!) With dr. Varrica and dr. Lorito as well as with Doctor Doria.
I also thank dr. Chessa, the dr. D 'Aiello and Doctor Negura who have been close to me with their firmness and encouragement.
I also thank the intensivists whose name unfortunately I can't remember.
In particular, I would also like to thank dr. Micheletti and Dr. Basile who have been of great comfort to me every day with their infinite patience and great preparation; they are wonderful people and great professionals who work with absolute self-sacrifice.
I have been working for 25 years in Healthcare and I must say that I was struck and moved by the team work and synergy that I saw day after day in this structure where the gurus of Italian cardiology and cardiac surgery operate alongside with young doctors full of motivation and renewing energy: a winning mix.
Thanks to the nursing coordinator Gianni Zaffino and in particular to the cardiac surgery nurses: Natalia, Micaela, Biagio, Mia, Vincenzo and to all the assistance staff, as well as to the excellent physiotherapists.
Finally, I thank Dr. Giovanna Martina Campioni and the whole team of AICCA psychologists (Sara Beatrice and Adelaide) for their fundamental emotional support: what they do is very important! I hope that San Donato will always be able to recognize the fundamental importance of this exceptional association which works by constantly harmonizing with the clinical component.
Words are not enough to describe all my gratitude for this wonderful team.
Average between 5 stars for the skill and competence of doctors and 1 star for the ability to communicate to the patient how to move between demanding, acceptance .. You must always come back several times, there is never anything slim and simple, and I can say that I have seen many people in difficulty because of this which is an aspect to be improved sensibly
Department and cardiology surgery. Arrogant and superficial nursing staff, they do not know how to treat users. Not exhaustive in the indications. It would be enough to pick up the phone to ask for information on waiting times and I do not refer to a visit or intervention, but only to leave an awaited package an hour. The desire to work is not a plus of the plan. 2 stars for the structure.
Very long waiting time I entered this morning at 12 and went out at 17 only for a simple dermatological examination and at the end an anti-inflammatory tablet
I performed a resonance to the heart the kind and helpful nurse the operators and doctors not even seen I asked to send the results home to today nothing has arrived yet I tried to send email to know the reason for this delay no answer I have tried to phone 40 min. of music (available 24 out of 24) therefore bad administration (as one of my ancestors said you are looking for a job not a job)
A star, not because you can not. The lack of communication, empathy, humanity, understanding and education towards relatives of ICU patients is shocking to say the least.
Bad first aid with waiting times at the limit of sanity, small waiting room and without small services such as electrical outlets and machines with decent food and too low staff numbers.
UPDATE It turned out that my grandmother had severe pneumonia going on. He almost died on the stretcher in the corridor (no, I'm not exaggerating unfortunately). Ah yes, they had given her a green code, all in the normal way ...
01/02/2020 LAST UPDATE After a month from the publication of this review, I can say that the real problem of the hospital is acceptance. The doctors and nurses who assisted my grandmother (4th floor) have been very careful and diligent in their work. They took care of all the patients doing everything possible for them. Really good.
Unfortunately, we know how health goes. And even in this research institute there are even departments that are very advanced! The department of dentistry to which both I and my wife turned to make prostheses, we found several shortcomings often on appointments; my wife, after four anesthetic injections, took a healthy molar from him. We did a skeleton and not an implant, and within a few months she was experiencing chewing problems with her skeleton; while mine has already broken twice I hope they want to replace it because luckily I currently use that I haven't thrown a temporary resin that broke after four days and to fix it they want 150, but at least I don't have the feeling of vomiting and of annoyance with the skeleton probably welded wrong after the second break. Last but not least, taking the impression of the upper arch, they broke part of the arch (in gold and resin) which, despite having been made by a dental technician over 25 years, had never given me any problems and strangely broke precisely in that moment inside the bar eating a biscuit. I am certain and convinced that by pulling the mold for the impression it has now damaged the old structure which, in any case it was! They tell me that you can't fix that it would be appropriate to change everything ... maybe they think that one finds the money under the doormat?
there is only to pray not to need to call the switchboard !!!!! 35 minutes of waiting ... I believe that for a general hospital this is not a good advertisement. Good day
I went to the ER for a little slide in my thumb. .. Even if there was a lot of people, they registered me and after half an hour they anesthetized my finger, removed the tiny glass and put a point. All with the utmost care and professionalism.
Hospital excellence, the presence of university students and high-level doctors involved in research, make it a guarantee for cutting-edge diagnostics and treatments. Too bad for the emergency room, from the point of view of space, and organization, one of the worst visited.
I had daddy hospitalized with a fracture of the femur and he underwent surgery to insert the prosthesis: really all but really all excellent. Fantastic nursing staff: prepared and very affectionate with both patients and relatives. Doctors very good and very available. the rooms are a bit small but in general it seems more like a clinic than a hospital. Thank you so much
After being in the ward to explain the situation of my husband's grandmother who had already been hospitalized for paraprosthetic hip infection and who now has an abscess again since the infection has recurred, I was called by prof. Corradi in person who fixed a visit for us at 9:30 this morning in the plaster room. After two hours of waiting, with a request from the attending physician in his hand, he bounced us saying he had no time and postponing us to 18.10. I specify that the grandmother is 95 years old and is in a wheelchair.
excellent departments, but stay away from the emergency room. Hours of waiting for my mother with a heart problem and luckily my brother managed to get in, otherwise nobody would have realized that the poor woman did not have the strength to take a bag alone and she would obviously throw up on her. three experiences in the PS three experiences to forget. Maybe they use it as a "punishment" for nurses and doctors less prepared or simply fancazzisti seen that in the evening dealing exclusively with the phone (and just pass us to check)
Painful. Incompetent doctors, embarrassing organization, endless waiting (yellow code and I was there 8 hours and not even visited me), humanity zero. Worst Italian hospital I've ever been to.
Completely NEGATIVE judgment I tried unsuccessfully for hours to get in touch with the Neurology department for 3 times and I found myself talking to other private people who, for some obscure reason, answered me and had the same problem. phone.
With a medical prescription with priority B we were unable to find a place for gastroscopy with the health system (in this hospital as in others in the Lombardy Region) therefore it was necessary to resort to the instrumental examination for a fee. We found a really nice doctor, Dr. M.L. Annunziata and some kind nurses, except one who treated my grandmother (95 years old) with rudeness and sufficiency, so much so that my mother pointed it out and her colleague came to "rescue". We thank all the people who have been kind and helpful.
Embarrassing .. They force you to go to the facility to cancel reservations ... phone X times to the cup number to cancel a reservation and (if they answer you) they leave waiting half an hour and then end the call. On the phone call they deny everything. Happened today 07/22/20 at 11.
First aid always packed, long waiting times, but with excellent doctors and friendly, helpful staff. The only flaw is doctors who have to divide from the emergency room to the wards while a few more doctors certainly streamline the work.
I find it absurd that there is no direct reference number from the cardiology department but only a switchboard that the only thing that can say is "the doctors will call you". My mom was operated on this morning and 12 hours later, although the doctors should update you on the patient's post-operative conditions, nobody showed up, nobody who communicated the positive outcome of the operation. I believe that seriousness and professionalism can also be seen from small things, and this is a bit scarce, I understand that they could be super busy during the day, but informing relatives and a duty of the doctor, or perhaps even just an act of courtesy , currently non-existent.
All very competent and kind. The operator who positioned the pacemaker in the middle of the operation began to blaspheme as a port unloader ... for the patient who obviously is already anxious, he is not the best.
My father hospitalized with coronary artery had severe cerebral hemorrhage. From vicenza while traveling the highway to get information saw what happened I tried dozens of times to get in touch with the switchboard that after several minutes of waiting did not answer or the line fell. Is it possible that someone is not responding to urgent information? It was dramatic..I think I only managed to talk to someone after 1 hour of trying.
Super. I have been to pediatric cardiac surgery and I must say that they are very professional and rigorous for the health of young and older children. The reception was really pleasant, they make you feel at ease, the nurses are very good and kind to the children, the doctors the excellence. The timing is known ... in all hospitals there are long waits so everything is normal. Thanks for everything!
Twelve days after surgery ..... The orthopedics department is under renovation and I was on the sixth floor B: Primis the head nurse Dorina excellent menager, always at work, directs her staff to what is qualified in a manner to say the least excellent, with determination and love ..... All the staff worked with the heart always available and kind because there were so many patients to look after. The physiotherapist Giovanna another person with heart in hand .... In the first place Dr. Filippo Randelli, with his golden hands, freed me of my sick hip. From the small Ruvo di Puglia I chose the doctor and the hospital and I consider myself very happy! Thanks to all the team of the operating room ..... Thank you very much and I hope to make an excellent convalescence to guarantee the intervention done.
I wanted to "congratulate" on the professionalism and common sense of the employees at the P / S desk on 03/20/14. Presented to my son Tommaso at 11.17 am (as per report 006242) due to a possible knee sprain with probable involvement in a ligament, we were cataloged with BOLLINO BIANCO, considering that everything had happened, as we declared, on the evening of Tuesday 18/03 and this, according to the person in charge, denounced little urgency ... We sat down convinced, that before then, respecting the urgencies rightly, my son would be visited. Well after a 4 hours wait, I was present to another employee at the counter (in the meantime changed shift) who could also take into account the waiting time, especially because my son was beginning to be intolerant of pain. The answer, common sense, is that he did not clearly center with the decisions of his colleague (unfortunately sad custom) and after a brief visit to the knee (but was he an orthopedist?) He confirmed the white label also referring to the urgencies ... but they were all green stamps! He advised, however, also to go eventually to the doctor of the mutual ... Well, after 5 hours and 10 minutes, we decided to leave to go to our doctor, who after a thorough visit could confirm the binding with the GREEN sticker (maybe we are tied to luck ... with colors) given the urgency! Thank you very much for your professionalism and above all your common sense!
the SAN DONATO polyclinic is an excellence with regard to doctors but the nursing staff is not very human and very rude qualities that those who carry out this work should have. Perhaps the medical director should run through the corridors and in acceptance, I assure you that he would hear about them beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!
Last week my beloved father underwent an important intervention, carried out by the masterful professionalism of Dr. Massimo Mauri and his team. During the hospital stay we could see the excellence enjoyed by the entire structure and the skill , the availability and the modesty of all those who work in the surgery department ... A separate note of merit goes however to the doctor (DOCTOR MAURI MASSIMO), who carried out the operation and who did his best to follow personally the hospital course of my beloved parent ..... I really think it's pure excellence !!!!!
Operated by the esophagus by Prof. Bonavina: worldwide excellence, an intervention carried out quickly and with unimaginable professionalism. Followed on a personal level for several years (before and after the operation) with immense availability. I turned to the same hospital for other problems: always very high standards of competence and availability of all the registered members. The only drawback: the queue of ORE to pay when it could (and should!) Be done via the Internet.
Booking system slow uncoordinated and incomprehensible the system and the rankings of reservations. Simplifying could be the answer. Unacceptable for me as a user of this structure.
My daughter is operated duct Botallo meet at 9:00 am, right now I would say that as a hospital, doctors, nurses and all the staff can not say anything work with professionalism, however, to be a child of one year and make it stand out department from 9.00 am and give him a room at 5.00 pm does not seem correct for children and parents (and not only my daughter but all the children who must be hospitalized even younger than 1 year). So try to solve the problem. 5 stars for the structure. But for the admission 1 star.
Callcenter formats not to give visits with SSN (VISITS NOT AVAILABLE OR AVAILABLE WITHIN MORE THAN ONE YEAR BUT IF YOU PAY THE DAY AFTER THERE IS 'PLACE) YES' TIME TO DIE, YOU WANT TO DIE OR LIVE? (IF YOU WANT TO LIVE DIVE PAY) A SHAME OF HOSPITAL THAT SEEES PATIENTS LIKE COWS TO SPREAD.
Given your answer I repeat and ask you ... If with SSN the visit / exam is available in more than a year, because if I pay the next day there is room? Explain your logic
I remain in the act of response ...
