The gynecology and obstetrics department is excellent with attentive, kind and caring staff, clean rooms and a renovated, really nice department.
Unfortunately, if you have to give birth to a baby, hope that it is perfectly healthy because if your child has anything, even a cold, you will be sent to Pavia, because Crema does not have a neonatal pathology department, but do not panic because it practically happens to everyone.
Finally, a tip: try never to end up in the hands of the child neuropsychiatrist because you won't have peace for years, and it will be very hard to prove that your child is really fine!

I went to accompany my mother, cardiac and with osteoporosis to a visit (which has been waiting for six months before the Covid emergency). She, like other elderly and unhealthy people, was made to "sit" under a tent, in the heat, with three chairs on the cross, calling for time, without numbering arrivals. Already this is incomprehensible, given the size of the CUP of Crema, in Lodi and other hospitals (which have been most affected by Covid, you enter easily, with a mask and gloves and with adequate ventilation of the rooms). After this grueling wait, for people in wheelchairs, with the stick and the elderly. They pick up the patients to visit with (an hour and a half late), only to find out that the osteopath was not there and would not have arrived. None of those present received telephone or other communication. Considering that the merely office part could be carried out in smartworking, I wonder why. My mother has been waiting for months, with osteoporosis at the 4th level and not having the availability to go to a private facility. Unfortunately, given the frequency that will serve in visits, the other hospitals that treat this pathology are too far away for us, otherwise believe me I would have gone there. It is not the first time that I have discomforts, even serious ones at this hospital, whether it is a simple sampling or a biopsy. Something is always wrong. Considering that the Hospitals are STATE paid by us citizens and not FREE as we think, it could work better.
