Today, my father's experience: in the day hospital, fasting this morning while waiting for an intervention scheduled for the afternoon. He waited until 8 pm when he was informed that the intervention would be postponed until tomorrow. When asked if he could have a meal he was told that nothing was left. The same experience was repeated last year during a day hospitalization. Neglect of the place and apathy of the health personnel. Being at the mercy of a similar system is nothing short of bleak.
