The room and service is exceptional. The balcony view is grand both inside and out. The beds are comfy and the shower is spa worthy.
I was there for a convention and the space provided for it was great. However it was confusing navigating to the area.
Very informal, but elegant ...well appointed rooms. But what made this property really standout were the great employees...everyone was very helpful and willing to go out of their way to accommodate our requests and needs. THANK YOU EVERYONE!
We were a rebook and had a voucher to the Hyatt. Absolutely phenomenal staff! We walked in about midnight, our room was upgraded and the staff made sure we knew about all the amenities that we desperately needed after 28 hours of travel. In the morning, the staff was so caring and uplifting, we wish we could have stayed longer. Mackenzie and her staff helped out more than they knew just by being understanding and accommodating.
It looked incredible. I'd never been in a hotel that looked as nice as that before.
The facility smelt in multiple rooms. The room hotel rooms are extremely small with airplanes going over 24 7. Friendly staff kept this at 3 stars for me.
I used to stay here a lot for Anime Central, but it's sort of lost it's luster of late. The in room appliances are getting worn, the showers shudder and spurt water in the mornings, the ventilation makes really loud noises and scraping sounds that makes you think there's someone in the room with you. The rooms come with a "cooler" that I think was once a minibar, but cannot be used for actual refrigeration (they do warn you of that), and overall, the Hyatt just looks tired. It's not a bad hotel, but not as fancy as the exterior and website make you think it is.
However, the fitness center...thats a definite pro. One of the best I've ever been to at a hotel.
Used hotel for airport parking/shuttle. Everything was wonderful
From my visit there, it is a very upscale hotel setting.
The place "feels" like the 50+ years it has been open. But, if you want to be close to the Convenvion Center, it could not be better placed. Got one of the "wedge" rooms created so the towers could be round. Well appointed, but small.
I have stayed at Hyatts worldwide the pricing is typical throughout and the food is great. All have been exeptional! Nicole L. get a life the pricing is very typical of this quality of a hotel. Maybe a motel would be a better choice for you. Overall Hyatt does it right....keep up the great work love you guys.
Rooms were fine. Hotel was huge, and beautiful. Charged $30 for parking and no amenities with the room.
I attend a benefit gala that did not serve alcohol. The Red Bar was kind enough to assist me in purchasing bottles of wine for the table, they also have me ice and an ice bucket to use.
Went to a con there. The lobby was beautiful and the center was great.
I was provided a complementary stay here when my flight had to land in Chicago due to weather. Although my stay was only 7 hours long and I didn't get a chance to experience a lot of the things that the hotel had to offer, I do have to say the room was clean, the beds were very comfortable, and overall I had a very nice stay. The airport shuttle was very convenient as well and the staff were kind.
This is my SECOND time reviewing this place. Demoted from 3 to 2 stars. The service in the restaurant is pretty terrible. 5 minutes to get seated and another 10 to get coffee. I am not exaggerating.
Ive been here four times. Each time something goes wrong like my things being stolen, etc. They figure it out and refund me or do something to satisfy my complaint. I would never stay here besides for a convention.
Great service and friendly staff. Some rooms tricky to get to due to short stairs after elevator. Rooms are clean and beds comfy, but on the slightly smaller side.
Who can imagine a 5 STAR hotel to be so dirty and shabby? We had booked this hotel for 450$ per night (without taxes).
ROOM: As soon as we entered the room, we found the floor carpet wet and the room was very damp and smelly. Every vent, furniture and upholstery in the room had thick layers of dust on it. Even the hair dryer in the bathroom had dust on it. The bed was very hard and there were red stains on the bed sheet. The bathroom is very tiny with barely any place for one to stand and take shower.
SERVICE: The staff was very helpful. The guests in the next room were partying and playing very loud music at 3 am. On calling up at the front desk, they immediately alerted the security and the loud music stopped within 10 minutes. The security also left us a customized apology note and gave us free coffee perks for the next day morning. There is a free-shuttle service from the Hotel to the Airport which is very good. If you want to save money (atleast 10$ per day), do not park at the Hyatt's parking lot. It is better to park at the Rosemont station and then walk to Hyatt. The room did not have complimentary drinking water.
FOOD: We ordered room service- Angus Burger. Though it was for 25$ and took 1 hour to arrive, the presentation and the taste of the burger was very impressive.
LOCATION: Hyatt is an hour away (by train) from the downtown Chicago. However the good thing is that the Hotel is located very close to the Rosemont train station (15 mins walk). The place gets very deserted at night, but didn't seem unsafe. There are no good restaurants within walking distance around that place. The hotel is on the flight path and we could hear the loud noise of the airplanes.
I would not stay at Hyaat again!
Overall good hospitality.. My shampoo and lotion were half empty..
The rooms were a bit small but overall gorgeous building, spectacular lobby and the staff were very curtious and welcoming. The balconys were a nice touch, and even thoug it was a view of the airport, it was still a great view
There were rose petals beside my bed and in the bathroom. Pancakes were good.
I came here for the National History Bee and Geography Olympiad. The place is absolutely amazing, and is really comfortable. Reccomended.
This is my go to hotel in the O'Hare area, because of its staff. Don't get me wrong, the circle rooms bathrooms are tiny, and the roof over the dining area leaks when it rains, but the staff is attentive, always remembers me and my preferences, and the hotel offers a good range of dining and amenities. It's also walking distance to great restaurants, entertainment, and shopping. They're also recently remodeling, so maybe I'll rate them a five star when they're done. But for now, the quality of service more than compensates for any minor spacial inconveniences.
Stopped by to pick up a car. Staff were receptive and quick to help.
Got stuck here because I missed my connecting flight so Delta sent me there. very nice huge hotel clean room but subpar toiletries. all in all nice warm place on a cold Chicago night.
TVs in bathrooms, giant sculptures, Starbucks coffee and fancy dressed employees. This hotel screams luxury, and with $30 per day parking, you're paying every penny for it.
Service is great however the inside of the hotel is all concrete. Gray, gray, gray.
Good beds, quality furniture and tv in room, top notch service, great layout that dissipates noise from neighbors.
Excellent amenities and service. Beds are comfortable and the buffet serves quality food. I would definitely stay here again.
It's overpriced. The amenities don't match up with price
I had a 1 night stay at Hyatt Regency O Hare and it was a good stay with spacious rooms , clean and great service. The building itself is an architectural beauty of 1960s brutalism. The hotel lobby restaurant served basic food and wine. Great gym. Parking was expensive at 32$/night after validation.
Nice hotel near the airport with a good park and fly option
Good rooms. They had a new years party with free drinks and djs
Rooms are pretty okay. Staff is helpful, friendly, and anticipting of our needs. That goes for front desk, concierge, and housekeeping.
Got a room to sleep in for around 4 hours, came in late and had an early flight. The room was clean and comfortable. Asked for extra shampoo etc around 1200 and told them I'll be checking out around 430. They finally knocked on my door at 130 am. Was an annoying experience from the start.... Couldn't get proper instructions for where to get the shuttle. The shuttle driver was great though.
Amazing hotel. Very helpful and cheerful staff. Rooms are spacious. Lobby area is amazing.
It s the Hyatt, very clean and helpful as any other Hyatt. Shuttling was free of charge, only had to wait 15min. Room was spacious and I had a nice little balcony. Front desk was helpful and professional. I requested a few things from their essentials collection and got them to my door pretty quick.
Large space, great service. Even good food options if you're willing to drive or take a long walk.
Friendly staff, beautiful atmosphere, great food and drinks. Going back again next year!
5 star experience through and through. Room had a giant television with all other amenities included. The breakfast at the restaurant in the lobby was good with good service, although quite expensive ($21) for their hot breakfast buffet. If ordering a la carte, you end up paying about the same, the way the menu is structured. The hotel has a very unique interior and layout with fun glass elevators in the center of the huge open air lobby.
Amazing hotel. Plenty of space everywhere, something for everyone, and decorated beautifully. Also appreciated the gigantic TV (70").
Very big hotel with a lot of space to hang around in the lobby's.
Very beautiful hotel. Everything was very clean. Staff was friendly. Had a very good time.
Stayed here for a wedding. Very nice accommodations. I slept like a baby on the super comfy bed and pillows and with the help of the relaxing sound machine. Also had a clock with an iPod dock. Nice 55" TV in the room.
The hotel's buffet was good for breakfast and lunch, though a bit pricey.
Has a 24hr. cafe & gift shop that serves Starbucks coffee.
The food for the wedding cocktail hour and reception was very good.
Architecture of the hotel was amazing with plants and deocarations. The rooms however were average at best.
Room was a bit small. Pillows deflated after a few min. Didnt really have a fridge to put left over pizza, it was only designed for medications. TV WAS HUGE! But had problems hooking up our own devices. It was clean, and they accommodated our requests for extra services.
Standard airport hotel. Needs a good renovation. The rooms In the circular towers are on the small side.
I attended a graduation ceremony. It was well organized, but the sound system was pretty awful. Overall, it seemed like a good venue, but I couldn't hear. The conference room didn't have a sound system, and they didn't provide much.
Wonderful staff. Beautiful view from room. Airport shuttle leaves every 15 minutes
Great employees, great atmosphere, and great times.
Beautiful hotel! Stayed on the top floor. Food was delicious and service was awesome!!!! Great bonus for those travelinv for work is there is a fedex office on the first floor. I was in town for a meeting and was able to print and bind books I needed last minute for my presentation.
Rooms are clean. Staff is nice. Conference rooms are mostly in the basement. Food and drink prices are uncommonly high and there are few other options around.
Very nice hotel, the staff are mostly nice too. The atmosphere is very calm and modern.
The room was decent and the service was good. The parking was a hastle since they share a parking lot with the Opera House across the street. The food options in the hotel were ok but expensive. There are a bunch of other options a block away. The mall being right across the street is convenient and it's fairly close to O'Hare airport.
I did not stay at the hotel... I was just attending a professional event. The lobby and conference rooms were nice... About what you would expect.
Pretty rad. They have a secret "Level V" that's at the very very top. Thry wouldnt let us go. They say its a banquet hall, but I'm begining to doubt it
Beautiful hotel, rooms are clean, very comfortable. A wonderful place to stay.
I always use this hotel when I go to anime conventions in Rosemont. There's a lot of different kinds of rooms like suites, king sizes, doubles. All the beds are super comfy. The hotel is super amazing and I recommend it super high.
Good location. Shuttle runs to O'Hare every 15 minutes.
I went for a meeting for my work. It is a very nice hotel, and the food is good.
