This place was my destination for my school's prom and it couldn't have gone any better. The staff was professional about serving their guests and I ran into zero issues through the entirety of it.

I have stayed in bad hotels run by competent people, and I have stayed in good hotels ran by icompetent personnel. I am afraid to say that this one falls in to the second category.
I took them an eternity to find the reservation, (even when I gave the the confirmation numbers, and even showed them the emails) all the while telling me that I didn't have one, or that maybe I had a wrong hotel.
After finding it, they then proceeded to tell me that despite me having proof of the reservation since the reservation was in the name of someone else in my party (who was parking the car) they couldn't proceed with checking me until we had the person physically present. I usually never put reservations in a name other than mine, but do to auto fill settings in the device I was using I filled it with the name of someone else. I can only image how the whole situation would have turned out if that person hadn't been in the trip, instead of using any shred of common sense and seeing that I shared the same last name and I had all the corresponding confirmation numbers and emails they wouldn't budge.
To make matters worse I had to wait hours while they found parking as their badly designed parking garage was completely full, with multiple cars taking more than one place, due to confusing markings and narrow spaces.
To cap it off, the staff was discourteous, and unwilling to use any common sense to solve a matter so simply that any clerk at a motel 6 could have figured out (not a diss at motel 6,as I probably would have had a better experience with them had I stayed there instead).

While this old hotel has been around for a long time they Continue to update everything possible. The administrative staff and management staff goes above and beyond to make sure you are welcome period on this particular trip the housekeeper that came to turn down and take care of my room was very helpful with two service request that were handled very professionally and right away I'm sorry I could not get her name and she was always eager to help. She was working Saturday on the 5th floor was a short Asian woman I believe that although spoke very little English made sure my concern was handled and understood which it was within the next hour on both occasions she is a fine example of Hyatt training but her willingness to go the extra mile was all on her own. On another note, I still miss the room service morning breakfast burrito but have resigned myself to go down to the cafe or the Regency Club.
Thank you to the entire team of the Hyatt Regency O'Hare you always make my quarterly visits welcome and go above and beyond all service needs. By the way the valet staff is always kind courteous remembers my name and takes care of me to ensure that I get to my destinations that I need to travel to while I'm visiting there in Chicago.

Room was nice, staff was friendly, and it was a nice hotel for a conference. However, my room keys didn't work until the night of my second stay! They did work hard to finally fix it but it shouldn't be that long.

Decent amount of service for what you pay for. Rooms are nice and clean but the bathrooms don't have a controllable vent in executive wing. Bar on main lobby isn't always open the latest. But the breakfast on the main floor is decent if you're in a pinch. $20 so make sure you eat your fill. Decent workout center for a hotel, still no decent barbell or squat rack.

Lovely hotel, with large meeting facility. Just there for the day this time, but stayed there 5 days in February. The rooms are very nice, with plenty of space. The food is excellent, and all of the amenities you would expect, and it's only a few miles from Chicago O'Hare. The free shuttle runs to and from the airport every 15 minutes, for your convenience, as well.

Pros:

Pros:
Location

Cons:
Carpet in the rooms are dirty.
Bathrooms are not cleaned properly and stinky.
Expensive parking and still took 2hrs to find a parking spot.
Too noicy
No where near to Hyatt standards

Updated/renovated establishment. Tons of meeting/banquet space. Great location in close proximity to the airport, local shops/points of interest (Chicago fashion outlets, rivers casino, allstate arena), as well as downtown Chicago.

This location is great if you need an overnight stay when flying in and out of O'Hare. There is a free shuttle with pickup and dropoff. I was able to check in very early, king room is spacious, but has a small bathroom. The only downside is that there are not many options to get food nearby and the hotel Cafe is far overpriced.

Regency quality hotel, the executive king room was big enough to fit 2 roll away beds and we got a welcome bottle of champagne with Belgian chocolates. The bar is also really cozy and has great cocktails.

We had an excellent experience... especially bell hop Rich Kusak who helped us navigate to the room, park in the appropriate location and generally made us feel special and welcomed. I was traveling with my 92 &1/2 year old Mother and Rich helped us tremendously and had the patience to help navigate a 92 year old in a walker through the vast number of wings and floors. Rich has been with the Hyatt for 45 years and the Hyatt is lucky to have him. Thank you Rich!

We got comped an upgrade just by asking for it, slept well in our business class room and had a really nice dinner and breakfast before taking a shuttle to the airport. Car parking was safe.

Very inexpensive rate and nice staff. Room was clean and nicely equipped with microwave and fridge. No up charge for parking, WiFi, and breakfast. Marginal neighborhood but close enough to O'Hare with car.

I travel to Chicago area on business. This is a nice, business friendly hotel. Good staff. It is very similar to the airport Hilton but a bit further (you have to take the shuttle bus to it). Also, it is a 5 to 10 minutes walk to the CTA blue line to go downtown whereas the Hilton in located right next to the downtown train and it is covered.

If anyone is looking for great deals for hotels check . booked a hotel room on there and these guys had the absolute best rates worldwide!

Superb hotel, close to the airport and train stop, complimentary shuttle every 15 minutes. Checkin process can be lengthy but staff goes out of their way for guests. Room was clean and comfortable. Restaurant staff was friendly and prompt and food was great. All around terrific stay, and constantly promotes a positive experience each time.
