Parry Blade Review of Hyatt Regency O'Hare

Who can imagine a 5 STAR hotel to be so dirty and shabby? We had booked this hotel for 450$ per night (without taxes).
ROOM: As soon as we entered the room, we found the floor carpet wet and the room was very damp and smelly. Every vent, furniture and upholstery in the room had thick layers of dust on it. Even the hair dryer in the bathroom had dust on it. The bed was very hard and there were red stains on the bed sheet. The bathroom is very tiny with barely any place for one to stand and take shower.
SERVICE: The staff was very helpful. The guests in the next room were partying and playing very loud music at 3 am. On calling up at the front desk, they immediately alerted the security and the loud music stopped within 10 minutes. The security also left us a customized apology note and gave us free coffee perks for the next day morning. There is a free-shuttle service from the Hotel to the Airport which is very good. If you want to save money (atleast 10$ per day), do not park at the Hyatt's parking lot. It is better to park at the Rosemont station and then walk to Hyatt. The room did not have complimentary drinking water.
FOOD: We ordered room service- Angus Burger. Though it was for 25$ and took 1 hour to arrive, the presentation and the taste of the burger was very impressive.
LOCATION: Hyatt is an hour away (by train) from the downtown Chicago. However the good thing is that the Hotel is located very close to the Rosemont train station (15 mins walk). The place gets very deserted at night, but didn't seem unsafe. There are no good restaurants within walking distance around that place. The hotel is on the flight path and we could hear the loud noise of the airplanes.
I would not stay at Hyaat again!
