Charged extra 2 times- called multiple times regarding this and have not received a call back. Air conditioning was not working on a 90 degree day and was told there wasn t anyone there to fix it for a few hours. When asked for a different room they gave me issues.

Most employees did not have masks on. Also a lot of guests in lobby did not either.

Dust on surfaces. Garbage all over the parking lot.
Hotel is not doing a good job during pandemic with keeping hotel clean and guests safe.

Great hotel, soft beds, friendly staff, and great food. The only suggested improvement would be for the elevators. They seem very slow, don't change floors according to the one you are on, and again very slow.

My cousin had his wedding on Long Island and all of the guests stayed at the Hyatt Regency Long Island. My cousin, the Groom, and his new bride were supposed to get the bridal suite. However, when they went to go their room for the evening on their wedding night, the room was already occupied by another couple. Therefore, on their wedding night, they had to scramble and find a place to sleep. Luckily, there were family members staying at the hotel and were able to take them in. To rectify their mistake, the hotel offered to reimburse all of the wedding guests hotel rooms. However, our names were accidentally left off the list so we didn t get a refund. I contacted the director of sales and marketing who was responsible for giving the refunds. He refused to give us a refund because we were not on the original list. I ve called and emailed them several times and they will no longer issue the refund we were promised.

Bed factory in the middle of nowhere, without a shuttle bus. Tired rooms, overstretched staff and the bar + restaurant are closed (with a poor 'pop up' in a conference room as a replacement).

I went to the hotel for my anniversary, and didn't even make it to the room due to a fire... needless to say our night was ruined and they never called us back after many calls and visits to see the manager .

It wasnt hard to find. Commuting wasn't so bad. Only thing about their conference rooms was the temperature, it was too cold for some people. Their service overall were exceptional except when their staff served lunch. Noone made an effort to ask about anyone's allergies or if someone is comfortable eating certain meat etc. Time factor was very important in getting all this done right so as to have us go to our sessions on time, so maybe that is why much attention wasn't paid for certain things.

One of my favorite places to stay. Great pool and gym. Great staff. Great Bar. Descent eats. Well designed flow to the place. Easy on and off the highway, but not too close to have to hear it. A gem.

Nothing like coming back to our hotel. Only to see fire trucks, police cars and ambulances. This happened two nights and one morning. With no communication of what was happening. The elevator was not working and neither was our room key. If your going to rate your hotel a four star. You might want to renovate! After complaining we received one night comp. What a insult!!

We stayed here on 7/12/20 and 7/13/20 for a funeral. If I could give it a zero I would have. The first room we were given had a broken closet door which is a safety hazard. We were given another room that was for the handicapped. The shower spilled over into the bathroom and flooded another safety hazard. I called down to the front desk three times to get towels and did not get an answer. So I proceeded to go downstairs in my pajamas and wet hair and got the towels myself. As we left I told the manager about our experience and was told sorry. I also told him we were going to book the room another night but will be going elsewhere and he did nothing. I was expecting a stellar experience being this was a 4 star hotel. NEVER AGAIN

We blocked off some rooms for our family and friends for our wedding this past summer and our guests really loved this hotel!

The lobby is clean and spacious, great for when our huge family arrived in full force! The rooms were a good size and had all the normal hotel accessories, like mini fridge, TV and tables. The bathroom was a good size and great for getting ready in.

We also decided to have our rehearsal dinner here, in one of their many conference rooms. It was pretty big and fit about 40 people! We just threw a big pizza party and they provided the drinks for a reasonable fee.

Overall, this is one of the better hotels in Suffolk county!

An exceptional property! Courteous, helpful and highly professional staff. The rooms are extremely comfortable and well appointed. We will absolutely be utilizing the location for our out of town colleagues, meetings, luncheons etc! We look forward to our next stay!

Was a guest for a luncheon... THE WORST WAIT STAFF EVER.!! We asked for glasses with ice for the beverages on the table, half the table were provided paper cups while the other half of the table was ignored. Other requests went unfulfilled. Asked the bar tender for a Moscow Mule, paid for it ans received a similiar mule..wth??? Not going back!!

I used to love this location, the new staff and the fact that the food was not cooked and gave me food positing as well as the room not being clean and smelling funky and disgusting. The shower was extremely dirty, the blankets were ripped. There was buha in the room . Some type of bug bite me and gave me a reaction. As I was checking in the gentleman was rude, inpatient and in helpful. In this type of hotel you would expect high standards which were not met at all. I am EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED and don t think I will ever stay at the Hyatt regency in happague again. It s sad that such a great place turned into the equivalency of a motel. I would not recommend this hotel to anybody. My experience was absolutely horrible and am completely disgusted with my most recent stay.

One of the worst experiences of my life was staying in this hotel. I understand that in the middle of a pandemic, management is limited, but there was absolutely no professionalism and no gratitude from the staff. I booked a room and the shower was broken, it sprayed more water on me when the tap was closed than when it was open. I saw a roach on the bathroom sink, and honestly I was really disappointed because the bathroom was the main reason I stayed in the Hotel. The living space wasn t great either; the bedsheets smelled funky, and the bed/side furniture was dusty and not in immaculate condition at the very least. Very poor experience, the motel would have been better.

Ugh. There are so many "user rated" 4 star hotels out there.
This place was totally adequate and perfectly fine.
The bar stayed open late with a lively crowd. Room was clean.
It's kind of out in the middle of nothing.

Anyway, business travel. Thumbs up

Ok

OMG! AC is down In the main area that we are in. Engineers trying over and over and still not fixed. Asked for the water cooler to be refilled and I was handed 3 bags of ice. I guess it's the new meaning of self service. I am only here for an event. (Thank God)

I worked as part of volunteer staff at the LI Doctor Who convention, and the Hyatt Regency was endlessly accommodating. We had great space made available to us, and our programs were an enormous success as a result!

I was going to stay here but upon removing the covers from the bed I found a ten dollar bill which was left as a tip by the last guest to the maid. Clearly the sheets were not changed. I was given another room, and after having to haggle with the manager, a fifty percent discount, however I did not feel comfortable staying in a room that may or may not have clean sheets.

This hotel is lovely. The staff were awesome, the food was delicious. Everyone went over and above to make sure we were comfortable and well accommodated. I would give five star accept my only complaint was that housekeeping forgot to clean our room one day and the bathroom was not cleaned properly during our stay. Other than that we will definitely be back

This is a sad excuse for a hyatt, most signs in hallways are broken, booked a king bed recieved a double queen staff told us that its was because we booked through a third party. Just stay at a laquinta because you will have a better night.

Bathroom is dirty. Tub horribly clogged. Thousands of screaming kids here as they cater to sports groups. Drunks in the lobby, kids knocking on doors in hallways, long waits for the elevator, and a small staff horribly overwhelmed. Avoid, avoid, avoid!

This was probably the worst hotel I ve ever stayed. Started on Wednesday with an electrical fire and they failed to hit the fire alarm to notify people I had my 6 year old daughter sleeping if it was for parents from my baseball team telling me about could ve been worst if the fire spread. Thursday and Friday elevators were non stop getting stuck. Lack of cameras and security all over the building. Brought my daughter to pool and random non guest were all over the place in the pool area. Just absolutely terrible.

Would have been 4 stars but out room was adjacent to the elevators, which sounded like distant thunder in the night and kept us awake. Make sure to request a room away from the elevators.

Rooms are large but like the hotel itself dated with clear signs of wear from the years.

Considering the hotel is basically only reachable per car, charging $12 per night for parking is unreasonable. This pairs well though with the fact that only slow wifi is free (in 2018!) and you have to pay for faster internet ($15 per day).

On the Plus Side: Arrived on Friday night for a two-night stay. Staff handled check-in promptly and professionally, as they did any other interaction that I had with them throughout my stay, no matter how busy it was at the front desk. Staff all dressed impeccably, and treated my son and I like we were royalty. I had a problem with one of the house phones in my room, and the engineer arrived to deal with it in less than 10 minutes. There was plenty of parking, and the water decanter at the front entrance was a very nice touch. There was plenty for my son to do there during our stay, which made things easy for me. Of particular note, I accidentally left my luggage outside in the parking lot and hotel staff went out of there way to locate it and return it to me.

The only complaints that I have is that the perimeter of the parking lot could have used some attention, there was a fair amount of litter, which detracted from the setting, and that the hotel commissary was over the top expensive, $6.00 for a 1oz. bag of Fritos.

We enjoyed our stay and would book there again.

Our stay here started off very nice as I was staying for a baseball heaven tournament. Although marketed towards kids it is not a place for kids. No games are to be played on the property with getting yelled at. On my third night here two people were murdered on my floor! Do not stay here!!!

The service was good and the staff was kind, however my bathroom had some issues with the toilet, the phone wasn't working, and the batteries for the TV remote were dead. Nevertheless I did enjoy my stay.

It was okay, the elevator was very crowded and if you go to the pool floor and.wait for the elevator it takes like a half hour to come. The room service was great! Every day I would wake up and my bed would be messy by the time I come back it would look the same as if I just got there. Not the best but cool!!!!
