Just bought a xc90 from orloff. Started with a dealer up north. After a blowoff that they didn t have anything 2019 and I should wait 4 months for the 2020s. I switched to orloff. Great decision and Great experience. Did it all via the Internet and e-mail. Worked with their their internet manger Tom Eckardt. No hassle no hard sale just gave me the information I needed. Fast response and good service. If you want a Volvo call Tom.... good luck

Can t speak for all the sales reps but stay away from Erick Calderon

Got an initial quote for a lease from Erick which was $150 higher than an initial quote I got from the Autobarn for the same model car with almost the exact same MSRP. When I told Erick that maybe he made a mistake with the number he quoted me because of the number I got from another dealership he tried to make an excuse that it wasn t his fault and that his manager only authorized that price and that they wouldn t be able to come down.

Ultimately Erick was trying to rip me off. Again I can t say that other reps there would try and rip you off but he definitely did.

Great place with friendly staff, beautiful cars and warm atmosphere. Snow was very helpful to our whole process of purchasing our new car. We actually accidentally ran into her after we looked through all the cars by ourselves and weren't able to find our previous assistant. Both staff members were very friendly and patient. I would definitely recommend people to come here!

Called today because my car won't unlock and the alarm was going off for no reason - I wasn't even in town - and the car said two windows and the trunk were unlocked, which is not how it was left when I parked it 3 days ago. No one had touched the car in over 48 hours, so this is alarming. I literally can't unlock the car. They were rude and put me on hold three times, transferring me to someone new each time so I could start the entire story over each time. Long story short, they won't get me in until December 9th, the day I already have an appointment scheduled for regular maintenance (how convenient for them) - today is November 25th. That's absolutely outrageous given the situation. I'd consider this an emergency. They were unhelpful, rude, and there was no sense of urgency. Hung up the phone and decided it's time for a new car that isn't a Volvo.

Long wait times. Limited availability. I called ahead to confirm that I still had an offer for another oil change and tire rotation on my account, which was confirmed. Was given trouble when picking up my car, whoever was checking me out was rude and dismissive (NOT the mechanic) in regards to this credit I had on my account. Typically the mechanic/advisor discusses any diagnoses after the service. I was handed the paperwork and sent on my way without a chance to speak to the person that worked on my car. Not the type of service you'd expect from a fancy dealership.

The worst. Charged me for a remote key - $500 - that should have been on warranty. Found out b/c I went to the Northfiled LandRover for service and they told me there should have been no charge. When I called to ask about it - I got the runaround from the receptionist for about 15 minutes. Holds. Voice mails, etc.. I still haven't spoken to anyone and her only solution was to send an email to someone and have them call me back. My prior experience purchasing my car there was terrible too which is how I ended up at Northfield years ago. Our first sales guy was clueless and knew NOTHING about the cars he was selling. I seriously thought we were being punked. Our second sales person tried to pressure us on buying only what they had in stock instead of trading another dealer for the color we wanted. I think at that price point - people should be thrilled with everything about their purchase. So - Terrible sales department. Terrible service department. Terrible receptionist. Why go there EVER when there is another dealer just 20 minutes away on the Edens?

We have been shopping for a 7-seat SUV for months. We finally purchased a preowned XC90 from Orloff Volvo. It's a great experience! When this car came into the store, Mike called me immediately to make an appointment to see the car. Mike is an amazing salesman. He acted professionally and nicely even when we walked away the first day. He helped us later to go through the trade-in and finance stages. Shopping for a car, whether new or preowned, is such a long and exhausting process that way beyond our expectation. The car matters the most, but in the end, it's the interaction with people makes you satisfied when walked out of the door. Good salespeople, good service.

Scheduled appointment 2 weeks in advance. Got a notification and confirmed with dealership about appointment. I brought my car in for an oil change and to look at possible sunroof leak at 10:45 on newer xc90. Got a call at 3:45 stating the need to hold my car over night to look at vehicle, as they have not even looked at it yet. I understand things happen, but one also has to understand people others have plans and kids to transport. A little sooner notification if problems arise or better management for an oil change to take longer than 4 hours (24 if held over night) is pretty unheard of.

I've been going to Howard Orloff since 2014. Kent is my go to service advisor and is exceptionally helpful and makes sure to address any questions you have. The service dept are very efficient and do a great job to get your vehicle back as fast as possible. Additionally the dealership itself is very nice and will shuttle you to the loop or provide a complimentary rental through enterprise for just the cost of tax.

My auto lights on my new Volvo would not turn off ...

My auto lights on my new Volvo would not turn off even when I shut down the car. A valet had turned the lights' switch to that position, unknown to me. I could not figure out what was wrong. I called Brad King and he drove down immediately to my garage at work with a replacement car. He also immediately spotted the problem, turned the lights' switch back to its proper position, and thus rendered the replacement car unnecessary. It was instant service at the highest level and Brad should be applauded for it. It would have been inconvenient for me to bring the car in and so Brad made it as ultra-convenient as possible for me. I just purchased my 2nd Jaguar from Tom Eckardt. I come all the way from Indianapolis to purchase there. Both times I've had the best car buying experiences. So easy and stress free, they take care of everything. Tom even fought for me to get a fantastic interest rate!! They have the best prices as well. I was able to have everything set up over email and phone and picked up my new car very quickly! I encourage you to buy your next car from Tom Eckardt at Orloff!

Quality dealership and staff but do NOT buy a used...

Quality dealership and staff but do NOT buy a used card from them. Their inspection team is the worst and we have had to have a significant number of repairs that a thorough inspection should have caught if they actually cared about their used car inventory. They also sold us a basically worthless warranty. Only go there for new vehicles....and they will show no sympathy once you walk off the dealership floor with car.

She is fast, understands her clients' needs, and in my case, was then able to create the perfect package for the car that met my needs. I love my Range Rover and thank Alicia for making the buying process easy and efficient. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another car from her.

Not only did I have one good experience at Howard ...

Not only did I have one good experience at Howard Orloff Volvo in 2015, but I had two. First, my initial purchase I was helped by James Pittman and Bill Grzesinski who were very patient with me during my first ever car purchase. They were very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable about their inventory. They walked me through the whole process and showed me all of the different options they had.

Unfortunately, my first car was totaled in an accident, but luckily the great people at Howard Orloff Volvo were there to help. This time, in addition to James and Bill, Corey York walked me through the great selection at Howard Orloff Volvo. As I was dealing with my car insurance from the accident, Corey was very helpful throughout the way on timing with insurance payments and getting me into a new car. He was very patient, friendly and provided great insight into what I should look for in a car.

With both purchases, any initial maintenance I wanted was immediately performed by the great professionals at Howard Orloff Volvo.

I would highly suggest checking out Howard Orloff Volvo for your next car purchase and ask for Bill, James or Corey, you'll be in great hands.

Absolutely fabulous dealership all the way around! Completely amazing customer service from purchase through service! The service advisors were incredibly attentive and helpful. It was super easy and quick to drop off my vehicle and get a loaner and even quicker and easy to pick up! The facility and waiting area are comfortable, spotless and well stocked. I can't say enough great things about Howard Orloff and all of the people working there!

Got my new car from here a couple of months ago, and things could not have been more smooth since then. I was super impressed with the way Corey York and the way he handled himself and did everything possible to accommodate my needs. There is nothing better than making someone feel right at home when they are making a big purchase. The "home feeling" Howard Orloff gave us is one that I would recommend to everybody. The follow up calls were fantastic too, the fact that they still show they care after the deal is done is very impressive. 5 Stars without a doubt! Great Job Corey and Great Job Howard Orloff!

Didn't push me toward any one car and took plenty of time to answer all my questions. I did end up getting a Volvo and Brad got me to the price and payment I was looking for. Great experience. Called Customer Service to schedule a service on my 2020 Velar due to a recalled and also for other issues I been having with my SUV, The Customer Rep had a terrible attitude (if you don t like your job why work on customer service). I needed an appointment as soon a possible but she was to lazy to look for other dates and decided to give me an appointment in 2 weeks! What if my SUV breaks down or something terrible would of happened! I DO NOT RECOMMEND This location! I end up calling Land Rover In Hinsdale and got the right treatment and the best customer service and got set up with an appointment the following day! If you need any service or need to purchase a new vehicle I suggest going to Hinsdale.

This place is very unprofessional! I had a very bad experience and so did my son. They racial profile you and are super rude!my experience was horrible then my son goes recently without knowing, and right when they saw him they told him that if he had enough money to fix his car! Then they damaged his windshield and of course didn t want to take accountability for it. My son called the police and even the police said that that was wrong.this is not the first time every Latino or African American goes in there has been racially profiled! The owner Olaf is very unprofessional and shouldn t even have a business!

The check engine light turned on in my Volvo XC90 ...

The check engine light turned on in my Volvo XC90 and I decided to take it into a volvo dealership to get proper service. That was a mistake. They did a compression test and Rodger told me that the only possible solution was to replace the whole engine, quoting me something like $9,000. Rodger said the cylinders were broken and a rod could explode through the hood of my car. When I asked what was the specific cause of the low compression numbers they said that they did not actually spend the time to diagnose which parts were causing the low numbers. They said they were saving me "time/money" by telling me to replace the whole engine. Then they refused to change my brake pads because they said it wasn't worth it unless I replaced the engine. Then the next day the check engine light wasn't on anymore and I ended up driving the car 300+ miles with no issues, took the car into a different mechanic. Got the spark plugs replaced and a few other things for +/- 500$. The car still hasn't exploded 7k miles later.

Kent Feldmann always greets me with a smile and knows my name, Robert M. In the body shop/ collision specialist has been able to help me out with service issues and repairs making sure I have a smooth transition from my damaged car to rental vehicles.and insurance issues. I bought an used Audi here about a month ago and I absolutely love it! Colin was an amazing help and the finance department was also very straight forward and incredibly helpful. The entire staff is knowledgeable, and I had a great car buying experience. If new Volvo isn't in your price range they have an excellent certified used inventory. I would definitely recommend to friends in the market for a car! It's nice to have a place you can go with people you can trust.

I purchased my vehicle from Howard Orloff in 2018. Had an extremely positive purchasing experience and absolutely love my Range Rover Sport. I would not buy a vehicle from anywhere else in the future!

Sine that time, the service has been top notch. The service team is extremely accommodating and based on my experience, they go above and beyond for their customers.

If you want to feel great about purchasing a vehicle go see Steve Hara. I am very appreciative of the effort he puts in to make sure I feel amazing about my purchase. He's on top of the service and makes the experience that much more enjoyable. A true professional and a pleasure to be around.

Friendly stop and for a mechanic service I really think they were actually trying their best to lay the truth out to me and their prices are much much better that in the Oak Park Volvo dealership. They have enterprise rental cars on site and will pay for a loaner, but they make you pay the taxes of the rent, so it's not really free as other places.

Mark is the best!! It's A NO BULLSH*T place to go! I have been looking for a used car to replace my Acura MDX lease, so I can finish school. I had a bad experience the day before at an unrelated Volvo dealer in Oak Park, and was hesitant to waste another two hours drive to here.

The vehicle I wanted didn't have pictures uploaded and since used luxury cars are going quick I called and Mark answered. Within 5 minutes, he had called me a few times. Once to tell me the car was available still, again to tell me nobody had an appointment to look at it (so I didn't waste a drive there) and within that time, managed to take pictures with his phone for me and sent those, as well as saying the car smelled clean because I was worried a used car would smell like a dog or something ect. He mentioned anything cosmetically wrong which was one thing. And I felt so comfortable already with his "service" and the details he was giving me!

Though he was also helping another guest I felt like he gave me 100% of his attention. I wouldn't have even known he was helping somebody else but I saw it lol.

The business manager which handled the paperwork signing and loan ect was Chris. He was great too! I was a little attached to my car and was sort of sad but super excited to purchase my first Volvo. He made me laugh immediately and was very pleasant to talk to and was very straight forward with things.

I am so glad I decided to just call in the first place and got Mark. Every sales person was friendly and offered me refreshments and made sure I was taken care of. They all seem genuine-which would sound weird for a regular basic dealer, but not weird because they don't really have to "sell" these cars to you, because they're not basic average cars. They are well built quality that can last forever. They don't have to be friendly and talkative because they're selling something above average, they don't need to butter you up because you're the one who walked in to a prestigious dealership to buy something great. They are great people and are genuine in conversations and getting to know you.

This place is the best experience I've ever had.

My car had two flat tires from a gigantic pothole. After waiting 1.5 hours on the side of the road (with my 4 and 2 year old girls) for a tow truck, I was not in the best of moods. Dragging two kiddos behind me into the Howard Orloff service department, Paul Walter was my beacon of light. His warm greeting, instantly assured me that everything was going to be ok. Paul had a loaner waiting and, and personally transferred my girls two car seats. I felt relieved knowing that I was "taken care of" while my husband was away. This experience has led me to vow that I will only buy cars from Howard Orloff in the future.
Buying a car is not about the vehicle, instead it's about the comprehensive service and support you receive for the duration of ownership. Thank you, Paul! You are an asset to the Howard Orloff organization and my savior on a very difficult day.

I came to Howard Orloff Imports this past Friday to trade in my Jaguar and get a new Range Rover. I made an appointment with Mark Vignaroli. The whole process was the smoothest, quickest, and enjoyable I have ever experienced. Mark was so nice and professional and really took the time to explain differences between models and for us to look at the car we wanted a couple times and drive it around. He made everything easy for us and even gave us some complementary Land Rover merchandise. He even helped to move some things over from my old car into the new one and took the time to drive us around the dealer and out of the parking lot once we were done. I definitely recommend this dealer and sales person to anyone thinking of buying a car. I will be coming back to upgrade in the next couple of years

such a pleasant buying experience from Howard Orloff. I had gone to other comparable brands + other Volvo dealers around Chicago, and this was by far the best service + experience I had. I worked with Brian in sales and Alicia in Finance to lease my new XC40, and they were both so patient + kind during the whole process. I also sold my 10 year old Jeep to them, and they purchased it for an awesome price (higher than I had been quoted at a Jeep dealership). I will continue to turn to Howard Orloff for my car needs in Chicago!

Great car buying experience! Michael Stevens made sure to make my wife and I as comfortable as possible with the vehicle we had our eyes on, even let us take it home to make sure it fit in our garage. Michael was never pushing a sale, and made every compromise he could to ensure that we left that day with our dream car, which we did! Bought our first new Volvo and worked with Brad King. I was very impressed by his integrity and honesty. I never felt pressured into the sale, nor did I experience the typical negative sales gimmicks people often expect in new car purchases. I would absolutely recommend visiting Orloff Volvo and definitely ask for Brad King.

Recently we needed assistance in acquiring an accessory for our vehicle and Tom in parts was very helpful in locating the part. Service is also very efficient and I applaud them for their recent remodel of the Volvo service portion of the dealership. I have three Volvo dealerships closer to me, but I will continue to take my car back to Orloff.

My husband and I went in to just take a look at some of the Volvo SUV's, never really intending to purchase one (let alone that day). Corey York helped us out and gave us the run down on the XC models. After driving the XC90 R-design, we were HOOKED. We had test drove every SUV on the market and couldn't leave without this one. The safety, the design, and the luxury feel made it the perfect fit. Corey was awesome. He was genuine, not pushy or anything of that nature and really made us feel it was the best purchase for us! Not only that, but 2 weeks later we had a question for him - he answered his cell - helped us out - AND remembered exactly who we were! Way to go Corey + the Howard Orloff team. The finance guru was also amazing! I'm already planning on purchasing the 2015 when they have a few more miles on those puppies! Thanks again everyone!
