Nice hotel !!! Very good breakfast. Beautiful terrace, smoking louge, large swimming pool and spa. And the ticket for Hamburg with in the hotel price was cool. Only the service in the hotel was not so great for a 4 star hotel

Owner managed hotel. Good service and friendly staff. Delicious breakfast.

We have stayed there many times and always like to come there again. The rooms are big and the location and breakfast top. In the evening, listen to live piano music while sipping a cocktail in the bar. And if you want to swim in the house own spa and even slip. A garage for the safe overnight stay of the car is also available. All in all, top.

Service and quality very good. Rooms could be a bit more modern (seem a bit dusty just because of the antiquated appearance, which they are far from cleanliness).

Extremely centrally located hotel at the main station with nice, somewhat small rooms (EZ) with a certain retro charm. The bathroom appears freshly renovated and clean. Friendly staff and rich breakfast.

Very central hotel, but there was only one elevator and it was really slow and used by many people, but apart from that I'm very satisfied with our stay!

Good and central location. The staff is friendly. From a four star hotel I expect, however, that the rooms are equipped with air conditioning.

Room cleaning bad, used glasses were not replaced, blackout curtains bds. Broken. On the floor construction work tool was everywhere we had to climb over it. At the bar we had to wait forever until we could give up the order the waiter did not even know how he should come up with the beer bottle at the front desk on the question of what makes sense 2 hour harbor cruise or 1 hour round trip came the answer Yes you have to know. .., sure I have to know if I want to drive 2 or 1 hour I just wanted to know empirical values and he should actually know better like me. Very good, top location but long ways from the lifts

1. Because of a change of date, I had to book a new one, which was available on the Internet for 140 euros. Because I had to book by phone, the night suddenly cost 170 euros. :-(
2. On arrival I was informed that the SPA area was closed. Why is this not on the website No compensation offered :-(
3. There was a large air conditioning unit on the house opposite. Open window, way too loud. A hint would have been nice :-(

We stayed in the 5th floor where the rooms were refurbished.

As always, I was very satisfied with all of your company's services.

Terrifying how a hotel can deteriorate within two years. Very pleasant at the time, this time a disaster from start to finish. Already at the check in we noticed that friendly is different. No indication of where and when there is breakfast and no word that the elevator ends one floor below the floor we were quartered in. The ceiling in the hallway was clearly worn and the fire alarm switch in the hallway was disconnected. After all, someone had attached a similar looking box with the comment "out of order". The ventilation in the shower had seen mold and probably not seen a cleaning rag for a long time. Construction work and fire alarm tests did not make the stay any better. The concierge was condescending and after talking to the receptionist, it became clear why he was taking such insolence. Disinterest in all complaints. This hotel has been deleted from us. Really a shame, because the location of the house is perfect for a city break. However, the deficits in service and the unfriendliness of the staff weigh significantly more.

... We came by car and felt well looked after from the first moment. The employee who picked up the car at the in-house garage was very friendly and explained everything in detail. Then we went to the reception, where we were warmly welcomed.

Our room was a standard room. Everything was clean, the room was quite spacious with a large shower. We looked at the theater, which we found very pleasant. We didn't use the TV, but if you need it, you should be happy with the size. There is a mini-bar, but we didn't need it either. There were also two welcome bottles of still water that were on the table for free. I found that very attentive. There was a fan in the closet (as the rooms are not air-conditioned). But since it wasn't that hot anymore in September, we didn't need it.

The bed is a double bed, which can also be pushed apart if necessary (has castors underneath). But since we love each other, the bed stayed together :-). In general, the bed was super comfortable for us (one of the best I've ever been able to experience in a hotel). We slept like babies. When the window is closed you don't notice anything from outside, although the hotel is in a great central location directly opposite the main train station. We had the window tilted at night because we need fresh air. But we are not particularly sensitive to noise either.

The buffet breakfast (despite Corona!) Was awesome. The cappuccino from the fully automatic machine blew my mind (that heavenly foam ...). Especially the fresh and juicy omelette that I got freshly baked in the pan according to my own wishes (with tomato and mushrooms, hmm, delicious). Many thanks to the staff member there who prepared it for me with so much love and friendliness. There are different rolls and types of bread. Muesli, corn flakes and yogurt. Fruit as a salad or in the original (as nature created it). Freshly cut cucumber and tomato. Eggs in various forms, bacon, sausages and meatballs. Dozens of different types of sausage, cheese and spreads, butter and margarine, honey (fresh from the honeycomb or packaged), jam, fresh juices and mineral water. You can pull the coffee out of the machine or you can get filter coffee from the pot. Different types of tea complete the range of drinks. Finally, you can have fresh waffles baked or take a piece of cake. A real breakfast dream. If I should have forgotten something from the offer (which is not unlikely, since there is just so much going on), I would like to apologize at this point. :-)

The employees were all (without exception!) Super-nice and courteous. If you had requests or concerns, these were implemented almost immediately, depending on feasibility.

I found the ambience pleasant. Visually, this hotel is not one of the super-modern. But I think that the balancing act between traditional house and modernity has been successful. I felt safe and in good hands (unlike in all of those soulless glass palaces that are sprouting up like mushrooms and quickly disappearing again).

Great: If you book here, you get a three-day ticket for local public transport (also well beyond the city area).

The next time we come, we will also use the spa area. We are already really looking forward to it.

The room was clean and big. The breakfast was adequate and good. Reception is open 24 hours and friendly and fast. An exciting slide and relaxing jacuzzi.

Nice hotel, rooms are a little outdated but there were electrical outlets everywhere and the bed was comfy.
Also got a free upgrade and when I told them I check out at 6 am they made me an awesome Lunchpaket. Was as big as a bag and filled with everything, sausages, egg, sandwiches, fruit, chocolate, fruits...

Would definitely come back here again...

The hotel is very convenient for the station and site seeing but quiet and comfortable. The staff were all very helpful and my room was comfortable and clean with plenty of sockets. The Wifi worked well. I had a pleasant supper and breakfast had a wide range of choice and all very tasty.

A nice and very centrally located hotel. The trained staff was very accommodating. Here you can feel good around.

After our first stay last year as a couple we were now with the whole family in the European yard (2 double, 1 single). Big advantage of the hotel is, that it is located directly across from the main station, so when arriving by train so no taxi or public transport must use. Next advantage for a city trip: From the main station all subway and S-Bahn trains go. All sights in Hamburg can be reached very quickly. The HVV ticket is included in the room rate for the first 3 days of your stay.
At first I had reservations about whether it can not be louder at the station at night. With our rooms to the side streets this was absolutely no problem.
The next advantage of the European Court is the Eurotherme. If the weather does not play along, just go for a swim. The spa is not new, but well maintained. But the construction over several floors has something! Also recommended is the waterslide, which leads through the courtyard. The sauna and gym we can not rate, because not used.
To the rooms: The two double rooms were already renovated, in the single room unfortunately only the bathroom. But everything is clean here.
On weekends it can happen that you can not find a seat in the breakfast room directly. The breakfast itself but the quality and selection is good and leaves nothing to be desired.
The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. For those who do not want to read through the entire Hamburg travel guide, the concierge is happy to provide tips and may also book through.

Is an old hotel, where the 4 stars come from, I honestly don't know. Expressed the desire for a quiet room upon reservation. We should get one at the train station on the fifth floor. Since the rooms are not air-conditioned, it would have been impossible to sleep with the windows closed. Ok rooms were swapped. New room, new happiness. Think. Bed that means the mattress = first class hammock. Carpet all over the room. Changed room again. Offer you can have a board under the mattress. (we live 2017) awesome. The location is perfect for train travelers. But the next time I come to Hamburg, I'll be in a different hotel. And that's not how it should be. Not to be recommended for me.

The hotel makes a very luxurious impression and has a very good location. It is located directly at the main station and is therefore centrally located. You can reach everything by public transport. Very central location directly of the Hamburg main station with smoker lounge. Great spa with different saunas and steam room. Inside slide over several floors. The fitness area is sufficient but not overwhelming, the rooms a bit small and not very modern. Overall my standard accommodation in Hamburg.

Very clean, from the rooms over the pool to the sauna, super nice staff. Breakfast is rich but not the absolute best. The fact that everything looks a bit oldschool gives one point deduction. I still like to come back.

This hotel made our spontaneous short break to Hamburg perfect! The welcome was very warm, we got a really nice room including an upgrade. Lots of tips for going out to eat or for trips. No matter what concern you had, it was immediately taken care of very professionally and lovingly.
We bought the tickets for our excursions directly at the hotel, sometimes with recommendations from the staff. (Harbor tour including Speicherstadt, double-decker city tour, night watchman tour St. Pauli, Hamburger Kunsthalle)

We are very happy to use the valet parking service and the employee was so incredibly personable and friendly. We knew in advance that the underground car park including service costs 24 euros a day. It didn't bother us, the car was safe. Public transport stops right in front of the hotel.

The room was very clean. With the record temperatures of over 34 degrees, it was of course quite warm. (We were told this before booking / checking in) At least one fan was available.

The breakfast is fantastic, well organized and the staff are incredibly friendly. You can choose from different dishes (due to the Corona measures). Everything is brought to the table. Whether scrambled eggs or fruit salad, a "mixed platter" with different types of sausage and cheese, or jam. The offer was large and sufficient.

The bar also has a wide range of drinks. Here, too, the staff was always very attentive and friendly.

All in all it is a nice hotel in the middle of Hamburg with the best and most attentive staff I have met so far. Thanks for the great stay, we'll be back soon!

A very nice centrally located hotel right by the main train station. The breakfast buffet was really very good here, even if the breakfast room was not that easy to find. That has to do with the area in which you are accommodated. The only coffee machine in the breakfast room, where there was a long queuing, is obviously not so nice.
Otherwise, the furniture and the overall appearance are a bit old. A real feel-good atmosphere did not arise.
All in all, it is certainly a good hotel for business trips where 1 - 2 nights are enough, I would not stay here for longer stays.

The internet just does not work in the room !!! I have been here for 3 days on business and absolutely need the WLAN in the room to work. However, no day has worked so far and the front office statement is 'we can not do anything!'. I booked the hotel only because of it and because of the location and pay not a little during the fair. However, there is neither a clear statement by the staff when it will work, nor a concession or understanding. It means I should sit in the lobby. Why is it in every description that the WLAN is available in all areas? By the way, I have not booked the hotel lobby but the hotel room!

Somewhat dated hotel, you can see that it is renovated, in some corridors stale air, the courtyard could look nicer, but very nice staff, cleaning staff very helpful, friendly. Clean rooms.

Staff great, room flop! Unfortunately the rooms are not at all 4-star category. Hole in the shower wall, toilet in a room the size that I have to leave the door open with 1.78 and 70kg, otherwise there is no room.
Not recommendable; only the staff is really great and very accommodating!

Rooms were cozy. Unfortunately, cleanliness was not given at the beginning, but after the notification, the room was completely re-cleaned. Bottle of water and a 3 day ticket for bus and train were free. Breakfast buffet was very good. Lots of choice so there is something for everyone. Terrace with a view of the main train station. Service was very nice in the thermal bath. Very quiet and you can go to the sauna and swim in peace. Unfortunately, the slide is too extreme for beginners.
So all in all to be recommended and we would love to come back!
