Typical German efficiency!
Staying here due to Heavy storms
that has brought northern part of Germany to a holt .brilliant & safe environment. Friendly staff.

Nightmare!!!! Bad sad experience.

Breakfast, pool, insane water slide, nice rooms and a free 3 day travel pass for all of the cities transport for a reasonable price. What more could you ask for?!

After tearing up the European Court during my last review, I have again paid him two visits, with which I was generally satisfied. What is particularly striking is that those responsible take any criticism to heart and provide quick and easy relief. The hotel staff is also really friendly, helpful and courteous, and especially the receptionist for the pool area is sometimes for a quick bite to have what a very positive impression. Incidentally, the pool area is really great and in particular the water slide is for young and old (where you need pretty good nerves there, at least on the first gradient that is quite nice, but flattens off at the end of something and could there again use a small cut). The breakfast is really okay even if a bit of whistle is missing (but I'm just complaining about really extremely high level). In particular, the location, directly opposite the main station with correspondingly great transport links, makes the hotel also extremely attractive. All in all, if it stays that way, it will definitely not have been my last stay in the European Court.

Staff is very friendly and accommodating. The rooms and the hotel are great and the spa area is perfect.

The room was good again. The breakfast was first class. Flaw: no bathrobe available on the day of arrival and was not brought to the room (although offered by the staff). The room service on weekends was not trained, there were no fresh glasses, towels were not exchanged and the beds were not really made.

In a 4 * hotel it doesn't work at all if the bed is pushed together from 2 beds on castors. Decor of the room partly old and worn.

Cleanliness left a lot to be desired ... dirty bed and bathroom.

As an excuse there was exactly no !!!!

The staff was always courteous and friendly.
You also get a 3-day ticket for all public transport in Hamburg. I can only recommend it.

Luxury hotel, with good breakfast, but old building and rooms

Good hotel, but is getting old.
The already renovated rooms are a bit small, but modern and very clean. Cleanliness in the hotel is consistently good.
The European court is a huge hotel and therefore almost a "bunker". The paths are very long and the breakfast buffet is sometimes with 100 other people.

Elevators, walkways, spa, swimming pool and fitness area are from the 80's and need renovation.

The location of the hotel directly at the main station is excellent.

On the occasion of this year's Martha Argerich Festival we - as so often before - stayed 3 days in the European courtyard. The location opposite the main train station is practical, which guarantees mobility in the city and good shopping opportunities and restaurants within walking distance. Of the. Architecturally interesting integrated wellness area with pool, sauna and slide is what makes this hotel special. The rooms are clean and adequate in size. A highlight is always the breakfast buffet, which leaves nothing to be desired. The all-day dining Miraculum, which is part of the hotel, is very pleasant. You can stop there before - or after - attending events and, as a hotel guest, you will always be served particularly quickly and in a friendly manner. The same applies to the hotel bar with live music in the evening. In general, the unaffected friendliness and competence of ALL employees there is the factor that makes us want to come back again and again and make us feel at home in Hamburg.
Maybe three small criticisms:
1. We miss the possibility to book rooms with a king-size or queen-size bed or simply to get a continuous mattress. Couples our age also like to cuddle ;-).
2. Are all public radio stations programmed into the TV set in some rooms? In other rooms these channels are completely missing. But it should be possible to receive them in the whole house via DVBT ?!
3. When the hotel bar is very busy in the evening, the service works hard at its limit, of course, nobody can always be everywhere at the same time, so that there are often waiting times. If more staff were employed there to take orders quickly, more could certainly be consumed in the bar, which would then pay off again.
The cocktails could - given the prices - contain a little less ice and more spirits. In addition, they all taste consistently good, but we lack the personal signature of the bartender a little.

In any case, we look forward to our next stay in your home!

It's ok. Had no Wifi because of issues with the TV which shows the password. Room was very small without AC. Breakfast in a box as a service for the early birds, which is nice.

WiFi and TV in room are too slow for todays requirements. But if you only use room for sleep, then the hotel is okay.

Very good hotel right accrosd5 from the main rail station. Staff very friendly. Big selections for breakfast. Only downside was the poor internet connection in the bedroom but can connect by cable.

The staff is extremely friendly and competent! Breakfast is delicious, but unfortunately very crowded. Rooms are neat and clean. Unfortunately there is no air conditioning. The wellness area is great!
In front of the hotel there are unfortunately all kinds of dodgy characters, which gives a bad feeling.

Very friendly staff, everything clean and in good condition. The room was big and also clean. The breakfast buffet was amazing, especially the waffles.
Only problem we parked our car at the garage. At first we got told it was full and there was no space because we didn't book one ahead but the reception staff did not tell us thanks to the lovely man who parked the cars we still got a space. Unfortunately no one told us that they were going to start some construction work at the pass way to the garage which meant for us: after we checked out we had to take our luggage and walk around the hotel outside instead of inside.
All in all it was great and i would recommend but the communication between the garage and the reception needs to improve.

We actually wanted to stay 3 nights, but after an hour we went back to another hotel ... we had booked 2 comfort rooms and received standard rooms ... unfortunately without informing us and the full price on arrival for the comfort rooms cashed ... maybe the guest does not notice it ... the room itself was out of proportion to the price offered ... for us, the behavior of the various employees towards us is fraudulent ... we were paid back the amount paid without any comment ... we can definitely not recommend the hotel

I got a loss when I got into Copenhagen from Copenhagen by air, but the first reception will arrive soon, so I will carry it to my room when I arrive. The request to ask Rothpaquedesk to be ignored was ignored.
The next front desk didn't keep up with this evening, and when I consulted, I called the desk, but no one came and I said that I would call again tomorrow morning It was given.
When I went to the front desk at 9:00 am to request a phone call, I said that I arrived at the time of the middle of the night and brought me a bag.
I think that I did not contact you so as not to wake up in the middle of the night, but at around 7 o'clock, I wanted to be informed that I was on. I am just a little disappointed.

The facilities at Sakai Hotel are clean and comfortable.

Traveling from London St.Pancras to Copenhagen on Friday 21st of Sept, Arrived at Hamburg Hbf just before midnight after a full day of travel issues, being a wheelchair user i need assistance, and as trains was cancelled/delayed all day, i ended up having to sleep in Hamburg for the night, a kind train station worker assisted me over to this Hotel and then left, thinking i was able to get a room, the arrogance and unwillingness to assist was unbelievable, fair enough i was told they were full, but when i asked if they could check for an available room elsewhere i was told No , so asked if i could get a push to the hotel next door, in which i was told to ask the portier, he nodded and came over, me thinking he would push me, opened side door, pushed me out and closed door behind me, so there i sat in the middle if the street alone and with a manuel wheelchair with big bagpack unable to get backwards or forward, luckily a nice couple walked by and they must have seen the confusion/worry on my face, pushed me to the next hotel where i was able to get a room, for a 4-Star service minded hotel, i would never in my wildest fantasy recommend these if you base your selection on courtesy and understanding.

Well located hotel a few steps from Hamburg Central Station. The hotel standard is ok. But there is a lack of coffee and tea in the room to get the last star.

Very good location directly at the main station. A day ticket for the underground is available free of charge at the hotel.
Big breakfast buffet. I can recommend the hotel. There are slight reductions in the furnishings, as there is still a bit of plush in the hotel. The decor could be a little more modern.

The hotel looks nice from the outside but I was very disappointed with the reception staff and the poor room service. And breakfast was a disaster staff either not available or run around aimlessly and service what is that. Was our honeymoon once and never again.

Price / performance does not fit here at all. Investment backlog on all corners. In addition unprofessional staff. First, we were assigned a non-cleaned room. The alternative room was not as ordered a king size bed. Instead of an upgrade to apologize for the mistake, there was a downgrade. The gym is not exactly inviting. You do not want to lay a mat on the floor here. Sauna area is ok, but not outstanding. From the showers comes more trickle than a reasonable jet. All in all, no recommendation. Except for location I can hardly find positive arguments.

There is a 2 star deduction for the pool and the room. Since I am very sensitive to cystitis, I skipped the pool, it was just too cold. Our room was very nice, but it was right next to the elevator, you heard everything and everyone who walked around or the neighbors showered. All in all it was a very nice stay there.

It was a nice hotel. We were a group of 20. None of us was able to get the WiFi working in the rooms. It only work from the reception. Other than that, it was a nice hotel.

The hotel made a good impression from the outside. The breakfast is rich and there was something for every taste. The breakfast service seems overwhelmed and is not well trained. We had booked a double bed, but 2 single beds received. We pushed them together. The cleanliness left in the whole house to be desired. Plate at breakfast and in the rooms. As well as window and window frame mold has formed. The fridge in the room was probably not cleaned for a long time. The value for money is therefore not correct, and does not justify the required prices. recommend it. But there are a few of the staff who had been very hard. These seemed almost out of place. We would not book the hotel again.

Update: 18.08.2017 at the breakfast buffet the demand for olive oil and balsamic (for tomato + mozzarella) was negated. They do not have ... (PS I do not believe that)
