Unbelievable $56 just to get in the elevator. Wolfgang puck is full of himself. If his food is anything like his coffee pot, NO thanks. I wish someone else ran that beautiful place. He as ruined it. Go away Wolfgang! You are not for Dallas.

My husband and I had a pretty terrible experience here from start to finish. When we first checked in, we were given a city view room and were pretty happy, until we started unpacking. I went into the bathroom and found hair from the previous guest around the sink and shower. I called down to the front desk and to woman who I spoke with was kind and helpful. She moved us to a room down the hall and went with me to check on the room before we moved in. That bathroom was worse than the first room, more hair and dust in the sink and shower. An hour and a half later, we were moved to spotless room down the call with a lovely view of the highway. Certainly not an upgrade and it took way too long. I would have put up a stink about not getting an upgrade, but my husband and I were getting hungry and wanted to get out and explore Dallas so we took the clean room. Our travel agent later called and convinced them to knock $100 off our bill.
When we checked out two days later, we left our bags with the bellhop for the day as our flight wasn't until later in the evening. When we came back hours later we found no one at the desk and our bags sitting right where we had left them. When we complained about our bags being left unattended, the bellhop assured us he was only gone for a minute and "there was a camera right there so they were always looked after." I'm sorry, a camera is not enough security, it does not stop someone from messing with or taking our stuff. I complained to the desk manager, who was very nice and understanding. She assured me that my entire experience was not normal and did not meet Hyatt's standards. She promised me 12,000 Hyatt rewards points in my rewards account. I'm still waiting on those points. Great customer service.
I would not recommend this hotel to anyone!

We went to go see the great view of the city from this building. It was packed because it seems like they have events there fairly often. Staff seemed friendly. Very clean. I would recommend it.

I do not recommend this Hotel to anyone because the Valet company they use abused my sports car. I have a new 2012 Subaru STI with less than 9k miles on it. When I left the car to be parked, I had placed it on intelligent drive so that it would be difficult for anyone to access the power so they won't be able to abuse my car. When I picked up the car and drove off, someone had put it in sports mode and now I can tell the car drives a bit rough and feels like it has been abused. It only takes a very short period of time to mess up a nice racing car like this this one. Although I can not prove anything, I believe that who ever had access to my car did something to it and had some fun. My $40k car now has been abused some some punk kid. I hold the hotel responsible as the only way to park there is through valet. Please don't use this hotel because if they can't get a responsible valet company to trust with people's nice cars that they have worked hard for. What should I do now? There is no visible physical damage on my car but it drives like crap. I'm going to have to trade this car in for another and take a $5,000 loss. It will cost you to visit this hotel, one way or another. Very disappointed.

Lovely hotel. I will say- avoid trying to check in early. There s not a lot of wiggle room.

I thought I could shower using a locker room or something- but they had none. I figured a hotel of that stature would have something in place for guests to shower.

The tower was a fun experience for the family, the computer screens that show all the points around the city. The outside view was fun with all the wind and watching everyone's hair blow was funny. The upper level restaurant was amazing, the whole room spins while you sit and eat. Recommend for anyone visiting the Dallas area.

Worst experience for Friends, Family and Myself. I am so embarrassed to have recommended this hotel.

We were discriminated against, lied to, pushed out of a sitting area by the Asst. MOD (Scott) back to our rooms. We even had our towels and washcloths thrown to us by housekeeping. Our friends room after being out all day come back to a non cleaned room. They had to request it.

We each had our own bad experiences and by far the worse service by 4 star hotel.

Room was very nicely decorated and clean. Hotel was nice, But got put in an accessible room right next to the Elevator Shaft. It was very loud all night long period was there 5 days for a convention didn't sleep all week. And tonight the train right outside the window. Soundproofing is seriously lacking at this hotel. This is the second Hyatt that I've stayed in for convention that's had very bad soundproofing. The other was in Minnesota. I will not stay at a Hyatt again.

Staff was very friendly but our suite was not cleaned, the bed was made but trash was not removed. As well as the bathroom sink in the bedroom was clogged and left a disgusting residue behind. This would be fine at a budget hotel, but not expected at the Hyatt Regency.

The hotel is nice but many things upset me. Parking is a complete cluster and nightmare. They have self park but it isn't free and it fills up often with event guests, leaving overnight guests without a spot. Plus, their entryway is too small and driving through to check in or out is an exercise in patience. The room was very nice but it was so loud thanks to the 2 weddings and prom taking place in the center. All the rooms overlook a central atrium and it was so loud we couldn't sleep until almost 2. So, while it looks like a great hotel and is very well ornamented, I wouldn't stay here again. Too many negatives to overcome the looks.

Attended for a convention that it was its first year there. Previous convention hotel was amazing but we just outgrew it and I had my concerns moving hotels. That said I loved the hotel. Staff got on well with the convention crowd and it was a really great place for us with a lot of access to the rest of the city. Prices are high but I did enjoy my stay and look forward to my next convention next year.

The place very clean and fast elevators that can be utilized from the bottom to the top. The room was great; able to receive clean towels and blankets upon request. It was also great for service dogs and those with disabilities which accommodate their needs. Additionally, it was walking distance from the Union Train Station and many other locations including Dallas's iconic Reunion Tower. Overall a very pleasant experience.

The room was nice and clean, staff is friendly, the only thing I didnt like was the motion sensor light under the night stand it's very annoying and on the rare instance it would be useful a trip to the RR in the middle of the night it doesn't stay on long enough to guide you back from the RR and is then activated once youve already reached the bed so it's pointless.

Please take a chance to use the shuttle, as the shuttle driver, Deborah, is very fun and personable and she has a wonderful amount of knowledge of the Dallas area. The rooms are very clean and the pool area is very relaxing.

Nice place to stay. I read other reviews about train noise and horrible valet. I experienced neither. We stayed on the 23rd floor above the station, no problem. One time we couldn't get the valet desk from the hotel room phone so we went down and gave them our ticket. I was prepared for 15-20 minute wait, but the nice valet ran to get our car. He was back in 2 minutes. Great experience.

Very nice and scenic facility. City view is great. Rooms are updated, clean and comfortable. Bar atmosphere is very calm and relaxing. The facility was very scenic for Christmas. Staff was all helpful and friendly. City side faces Union station and the light rail, the lower floor we were on got a decent bit of noise from it, a previous stay a bit higher up didn't get as much of the noise.

Pretty good standard on rooms, however many rooms has serious problems with noise. Either the room are against the highway with constant car noise or against the train station where huge freight trains pass by 24/7 often using their horns even in the middle of the night, even when staying on the 20th floor they still cause lots of noise including vibrations.

The hotel has an outdoor pool - but it's tiny (like a typical villa pool), also it faces the highway and has no service besides a phone to call for "room-service" for drinks and food.

My company has had me on business since late August and I have come to know this hotel as my Dallas home away from home. I began my journey by staying at a different hotel each time I came out here and quickly learned that this hotel is by far the best!
Sure, the valet could be a bit more organized, but they know me by name and on Sunday evenings, Esteban is there to greet me when I check in. Damon greets me with football talk in the mornings and Godfrey always ensures that I have a great day.
At Monduel's Javier busts his tail to ensure quality service and Michael is always providing drink recommendations. Upstairs in the five sixty bar, Jared also makes excellent recommendations for places to see around town.
I've never had to ask for my room to be cleaned, even when I have asked them to come back later. If you don't want a room on the train side, they will gladly accomodate and vice versa (I prefer the city side, train and all).
I have earned platinum status at this hotel and plan to continue to the next level, until the end of my stay next year. The staff is friendly, but not overbearing. The food options are great. The beds are comfortable. The hotel is spotless. Most importantly I feel at home. I wouldn't consider another hotel and I most definitely will recommend this one to everyone I know. Thank you Hyatt Staff, for providing world class service, each and every stay!
