In my opinion this is certainly one of the best hotels in Dallas if not the best. The staff is well knowledged, courteous, and friendly. The hotel itself is beautiful and located in a perfect spot with easy access to the highways as well as quick drive towards downtown. Reunions tower is basically in the same building and therefore easily accessible. The third floor has a small pool as well as the fitness center and a terrace where you can go out to appreciate a great view of the entire Dallas skyline. The rooms are perfect, both with and without a view. Our was overlooking Dallas and looked amazing both during the day and night. Beds were comfortable and rooms were clean. The second floor has a beautiful bar and 2 restaurants both for a casual time and a more formal one. The entire hotel is clean and well staffed, valet parking is quick and the also have self park that's secured. The lower basement floor has a business center with fed ex office, car rental service onsite, coffee shop, bars and everything in between. Overall great experience!!

We loved this staying at this hotel!
The staff was over the top friendly and helpful. We had a bunch of luggage and was relieved how quickly they helped us unload and check into the rooms. The rooms were very clean and spacious. We were happy to have a mini fridge also! The views were beautiful within the hotel, and the view, "of the city" out our 15-story room was amazing!!
I would highly recommend you purchase the breakfast package. We did and was very happy to not have to travel for food but even better than the convenience was the food! Breakfast was great, not your normal hotel breakfast but more restaurant and buffet style and was delicious. The orange juice might be the best I have ever tasted! Totally worth the add on to your room.
The terrace was awesome and a good place for our grandson to run around and get some of the energy out. The terrace also made a really nice place to hang out with family that were in different rooms at the hotel. Plus, the terrace was also a beautiful place to just watch the city.
We also enjoyed looking at all the historical pictures in the hall of how Dallas looked when it was still a small city and how it has grown. Almost like visiting a museum and very interesting.
Parking wasn't too bad or far away. We had a large truck, so we used the parking lot near the hotel. This parking lot is in close walking distance to the hotel, had plenty of space left to park and we could even see the truck from our hotel window. There is a cost to use the parking, but they do also have valet parking available as well.
We absolutely recommend this hotel and would love to stay here again!

I stayed here for a company sponsored event. The hotel is huge and they plenty of amenities for guests. They have lots of conference rooms to host multiple events. It is directly connected to Reunion Tower which is pretty cool! The room was very luxurious and it was very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and accommodating to any of your needs. I would definitely stay here again in the future.

Was evacuated here from Sulphur, La. for hurricane Laura. It is a very beautiful, extremely large, well kept, and maintained. Not to mention theres a 3rd floor rooftop swimming pool for guests. The staff were very impressive also. Ive never stayed at a hotel anywherr in the world regardless of the hotels status, cost, appearance, or anything where the entire staff, 200% of them love their jobs. Wth ever.

Went for New Year's eve. The location can't be beat, and seeing the fireworks on reunion tower up close was definitely worth the stay. However, the hotel was beyond crowded. We booked and paid for a king bed room, but were put into a queen. It wasn't worth waiting in line over 30 minutes to get swapped out. Ended up walking up 16 flights of stairs after the fireworks because the wait for an elevator was over an hour. Room was clean and had a nice view. Light sleepers beware, the train station next to the hotel is pretty loud. Overall, it was worth doing once for the fireworks up close on the hotel lawn.

Rooms were awesome, staff was friendly and polite. Food was good. I only have 3 complaints. The showerhead in our room wouldn't stop dripping, there was a $50 "hold" on your credit card if you kept a tab open at the bar, and the pool is absolutely pathetic in size and depth. Otherwise a great place to stay. I look forward to my next stay!

Awesome hotel! The staff is great and the valet service is quick with your car. The bar is a good place for light conversation with other guests of the hotel. Dallas is a very inviting city and friendly to out of towners, especially if you are an opposing team to the Dallas Cowboys. Can't wait to go back!

Our room was super nice. 19th floor room 15. We had a good city view. Bathroom was awesome with a shower. We had a king bed.
Cons:
1.Self Parking is $19. Make sure you yellthe front desk you will come and go so you don't have to pay that each time you exit.
2. there were 2 bottles of water in our room each $4.50 so we didn't partake.
3.room service way over priced as well as restaurants, so eat out.
Pros:
Friendly Staff
Great views.
see through elevator.

Excellent location if visiting downtown Dallas attractions. Modern, spotless rooms and friendly staff. The only thing that needs attention would be the wait time to be attended at the registration desk. Other than that, my stay was perfect. Oh, and if your driving, expect a 19 dollar parking fee per day, or 29 dollar fee per day for valet parking.

Hotel is very large and has a couple restaurants & store for travel needs and snacks as well as a gift shop. Food provided by hotel for our event was excellent. Had to change room as we found a sock and lipstick left on the floor from previous guests within 15 min of getting to room but staff was very accommodating to change us & apologized. Next room was super clean and beds are comfy, bathroom had barn doors which look nice. View of downtown area was ok. Not sure how this area is for walking around/exploring. We had a shuttle to an off site restaurant and passed several bail bond storefronts and lawyer offices on the way since hotel is near the courthouse. Was only there a short time so no time to explore.

Thermostat won t go below 71 deg F.
Switched rooms and same thing. It says it is 66 but my thermostat and engineers thermostat says over 71
What s the point in getting a hotel room if it s so hot you can t sleep? Purely management s fault by choosing to install these electronic thermostats which can only be changed with a laptop computer with their coded software.
This is why I won t pursue Hyatt Rewards. Go to Marriott. Then Hilton.
Update: the awesome engineer gentleman was able to override the system for me for the night. Still keeping the 1 star though as it s a system wide problem at this location. The staff are wonderful but this thermostat system has to go.

We had a wonderful time at the Hyatt Regency Dallas. We were attending a Christmas party and stayed here overnight. The staff was extremely courteous from check in to check out. We stayed in a standard room with a king sized bed. The room was spacious and very clean. Overall, I recommend this hotel.

Food was expensive. Like $20 a plate on average for breakfast, lunch and dinner. No complimentary breakfast. Parking wasn't free either. Costs like $19.99 per night and $29.99 per night with valet service. And the ticket stub you get when you park non-valet says that they're not responsible if your car gets stolen or damaged. Suspect. Was very disappointed with the parking situation. However, the elevator was fast in this 22 floor hotel, the fitness center was nice and big with a good selection of equipment. The waiters at the restaurants inside the hotel were cordial, the city view outside of my room was nice. The room had typical modern furnishings but with nice room lighting options. The bathroom mirror didn't have a TV in it. Aside from the excessive pricing, everything was to my liking but not too far off from a Holiday Inn, which is a cheaper option from my experience outside of Texas.

Great hotel stay. Upon leaving, receptionist at the front desk was a rude and tried to tell me that PARKING would not be included with the company coverage of my hotel stay. I was forced to bring multiple coworkers to the front desk to show him that the company covered parking for everyone. Unfortunate that the last and greatest impression I have of the establishment was left by one person.
