Good location in downtown Dallas close to lots of places. Rooms were play, I didn't like the decor, I got there very late and front desk personnel was not the best. Other than that overall was decent place to stay.

Great customer service, clean, & affordable. Great breakfast included in with your stay. It also has a full bar & Starbucks coffee. Pool was very nice! I would highly recommend staying at the Hyatt. If you sign up for their rewards, which is free. You get free water in the snack bar, 10% of your stay, stay 3 nights & get the 4th one free.

I met my brother for an early lunch having arrived too late for breakfast. Was seated in a nearly empty restaurant and service was timely and friendly but the food quality and taste left a lot to be desired. This review is reflective of the restaurant only not the hotel.

Clean spacious rooms, nice facilities, friendly staff but quite noisy. A train track runs past and trains ring bells etc 24/7. The doors also let in noise, especially if above the restaurants till 11/12pm. Restaurants have nice food but short menus so not great if staying more than 1-2 days.

The hotel staff was amazing. Friendly, smiling and attentive. Every question was answered and they were very knowledgeable. The food was amazing but very pricey. Best chips and dip I've ever had. Great room amenities.

Great place, but for the money it costs for the room I don't like to be nickle and dimed for everything else. Be warned - $19 a day for parking, no fridge or microwave in the hotel rooms and $12 for a cheeseburger, $12.95 a day for wifi access, $6 a beer, $14 for mediocre breakfast, $4.50 for a bottle of water.

Extremely disappointed in checking in. I went to the property the night before I checked in to look at the room I was getting & getting some of my questions answered. I originally booked the sunset suite and I told them I would have guest over from a concert in town that night, also told her that there would be music inside the room. The first girl I talked to (very nice) told me that this suite wasn't the best one to have music in because there was neighbors nearby, if I wanted to upgrade to the penthouse suite, that it was on its own floor. I upgraded for an extra $200. When I got there to check in, the suite wasn't ready & I had major issues checking in. The first one was the deposit on the room. I made it clear to the lady I talked to the night before, who showed me the room, that I understood there was a deposit and wanted to know how much. She clearly said there is going to the a $40 hold that is refunded. The second one was when I got to check in, they told me about a $200 deposit! I was surprised that it jumped from $40 to $200! The third one (which I understood from "hotel policy") was that they could not take my temporary issued debit card because it did not have my name on it. That same day, I received my atm card but didn't know if it was activated. For that reason I did not want to use it yet. The guy told me I couldn't use my temp and was insisting another way. This was already about midnight. I called Wells Fargo to active my card but it was going to take 3-7 business days to do so. So Nick the front desk manager told me if I could get cash out of the ATM they had. ($4 surcharge & I could only take $200 out at a time) I removed $200 but after the first round out of 4, the ATM kept giving me a error code. Same with the other one they had. So i was already frustrated trying to get my suite. I told nick I would go to Wells Fargo to get cash & he said that would work. I literally took 5 minutes to go get the cash, only to come back & find out "nick was gone" and that they couldn't accept cash at that time anymore. I asked to speak to a manager but the front desk attendant said he was the "on duty manager." this was about 12:35 am. So I had to change the whole reservation to someone's else's name, deposit the $900 into their account & use their card. Didn't end up going to my room until about 1 am after arriving at about 11:30. So just as soon as I thought everything got situated, I go up to my suite with my guest & 20 minutes later I get a noise complaint. I wasn't going to argue over the noise complaint I simply turned the music down & said thank you, but didn't I upgrade rooms to avoid that? I got threaten to get kicked out of the hotel by security & I was to frustrated to even take anything further. I said thank you, turned the music down & continued with the night. Those are the issues I had, overall the suite was very clean & spacious.

Just fantastic!! Such beautiful views of the city! The hotel itself is gorgeous and so clean! The beds are so comfortable. Great staff!! I left my diamond ring and earrings in the room by mistake and one quick call and they scooped them up and had security meet me at the door to get them back to me! Can't say enough good things!

The location is perfect. Right in the middle of downtown Dallas. Rooms were luxurious and extremely comfortable. The service provided by staff was top notch for any hotel I've visited. Unfortunately the food on the buffets was not as good as it could have been. Chicken tacos for lunch Friday were flavorful but dry due to the chicken being put into a steamer basket to stay warm which dried them out. Breakfast, the eggs were horrible and ended up mildly I'll from the sausage. But all in all I can over look that as they WERE preparing food for over 3400 guests of a convention as well as other guests staying there. Overall my rating remains a 5 star due to the heavily outweighed cons versus the pros.wonderful hotel and can't wait till next year when the convention returns.

Solid rooms, comfy bed, clean, and awesome staff. Breakfast was included with my room (though I'm not sure if that is always the case). Best hotel breakfast I have ever had! Omelette bar, hot bar, pastry station, fruit, what more could you ask for?

Very mixed reviews. I am a Hyatt rewards member and was waiting in the Hyatt member specific line, there was no one else in the line. There were 5 staff members helping other people and after waiting a bit they called up people who arrived after me who were waiting in the regular line, even though they came minutes after I did and this happened a few times. So when I saw an empty front desk area I walked up to check in, she told me I needed to get back in line and let the others in the regular line come first. I explained to her I was a Hyatt member and was waiting in the member line for about 10 minutes at this point and they been helping many other people who came AFTER I lined up and that if I waited in the regular line I would have been helped long ago. She ended up checking me in after this, but was rude about it. When she gave me my room, she picked the absolute furthest room from the area I requested. After seeing this I went back to the front desk to request a room change, the other employee was polite and helped me with this.

Grate place great atmosphere clean rooms grate housekeeping good prices. Don't not shop at the 24 hour store in the main lobby area it's grossly over priced. $3.25 for a cup of Raman that you can buy for $0.50 at Walmart. Best to stock up on what you need elsewhere and the pre-made food that the coffee shop had made me sick. The Perino's Pizza place in the food court is also over price and not so good your better off ordering pizza delivery to your room. The restaurant inside of reunion Tower is wonderful and worth your time (dress code is business casual) best to call head for reservations.

Room was freezing and it was a beautiful suite. They fixed it when we were checking out to go. Did not even comp our room service. We spent over $300 for this Christmas eve room. The experience was why you got 3 stars, I gave credit for the view and the creative design. Room service was fast, food was mediocre. But staying in a freezing room , waking up freezing, that is not enjoyable...

I think over all it s a really nice hotel but it is quite noisy, not the workers fault more of a architectural problem as everything echos. Try to get a floor past 10 and don t chose the city facing rooms as the trains go all night and are super loud making it hard to get good sleep. Hotel restaurant is ok, service so far has been pretty slow and my food was kinda cold but wasn t a major deal. There is another restaurant that looks pretty good but has been closed for three days now, weird. I would stay again but would just chose a room on level 20 or higher to get away from the noises going on in the hotel and would suggest getting food in the city because it ll be way cheaper and probably quite a bit better.

What can I say huge room packed with facilities and great decor, typical Hyatt Regency Dallas. If I ever went back to Las Vegas again I would stay here. Just make sure that you have a map with you... Oh and the pool bar was incredible with a top dj banging out the tunes.
