Very nice hotel. The room was spacious and comfortable. Restaurants, a sports bar, and a coffee shop right on site. The city view is great. The only downside is the noise from freight trains passing by every few minutes all day and night.

It wasn't the worst but I wouldn't want to stay here again, especially since it was about $300 a night. I found several hairs in the bathtub. It was an accessible room so the bathroom was supposed to be configured for the disabled. I'm not sure how you're supposed to use a bench that has been zip tied shut. There was zero counter space in the bathroom and the couple of shelves would be out of reach of someone in a wheelchair. The toilet didn't flush well when I arrived and had to be fixed. My room, 1186 in the tower, was right next to the elevator, so my bed shook all night every time the elevator went past the floor, waking me up. And the trains outside were noisy all night.

My overnight stay was great. The bed was comfy, the bar eats was good, the hotel staff was friendly and helpful, and the valet parking attendants were prompt. The valet prices were excessive at $30 but I chose to do it anyway. It was a cold night and self parking wasn't a quick walk.

Recent stay included a king with spacious room and excellent, updated walkin shower, great view and privacy. We truly enjoyed our stay and staff could not be better. We would highly recommend this location if your looking downtown Dallas and an exceptional dining experience 560 ft off the ground !

I ve stayed at the Hyatt for a total of 2 weeks (on 2 separate trips) and the customer service I ve received from them is amazing! I met their Business Travel Sales Manager as well as their General Manager, which was a personal touch to my experience. My stay at their hotel has been such a refreshing change to the other hotels I ve stayed in during my business travel. In addition to the great customer service, it was so nice to be able to walk over to the Reunion Tower and enjoy dinner at Wolfgang Puck s Five Sixty. I ll definitely be staying there again!

Worst parking I ever seen.

Worst parking I ever seen.
Only valets can park cars in the parking garage, otherwise you have to park far away from the hotel by the railroad. Overnight for self parking is over $20, valets is over $30.
Dirty carpets in my hotel room and hallways.
I don t see any security cameras in the hotel. Really concerned about customers safety.
Do not recommend this place.

The Hyatt Regency Dallas is a well run operation w...

The Hyatt Regency Dallas is a well run operation with a very clear and firm commitment to customer service, particularly for their most loyal customers. This is essential to keeping such a large hotel feeling personable and intimate.

As a World of Hyatt member, I ve read a lot of reviews about this much-loved hotel and seen photos from weddings and meetings held here. I decided to spend a couple of nights here while in Dallas and check it out.

First of all, before I even arrived a WOH customer service representative (Julie) emailed me to see if there s anything she could do to make my stay more comfortable. She also asked me several questions that she committed to add to my permanent Hyatt file including things like when is your birthday? I sent her my responses, including a request to have a bathroom scale in my room because I m trying a new diet and it s very hard to stick with it when I am traveling; having access to data about my weight helps me stay on track. On the morning before my stay I received a text from Julie telling me that she had upgraded my room to a City view and she hoped I would have a great stay.

I checked in and was given a personal note from Julie with a voucher for a free gift from the market to thank me for my loyalty. How sweet!

I then went up to my room. Sure enough there was a brand new bathroom scale fresh out of the box! It had just been purchased just for me. And she had left a tape measure as well, for good measure . So thoughtful! Wow!

The city views up here are quite beautiful. The double queen room has enough space for me to do a yoga workout in the morning. There is an empty refrigerator for me to keep healthy snacks. Bottled water is available in the room for free for WOH elites.

The room itself is pretty standard Hyatt fare - which is good. The TV is huge - take a look at the pictures. I can t even begin to estimate its size. There s tea and coffee making facilities in the room. There s an iHome type clock radio. You ll have a lot of fun using the electric controls for the blinds.

What would I improve?
I wish this place had a Club Lounge. Also, it s pretty close to the train tracks, as many other reviewer s have noted and the noise travels even up above the 20th floor. So it s worth bringing some good ear plugs. I m surprised housekeeping didn t leave any beside the bed. Also, a white noise machine might help.

Overall this is a great hotel and if you are a fan of Hyatts, they will treat you well.

Despite its fame and the Michelin stars, the elegance and the beauty of the place. The attention is very poor ... we had a reservation and when the waiter arrived, he called us by another name, 30 min later we did not More

While the amenities are great and it has a great location, I can solidly say that even though I requested the "quiet"side of the hotel it was still pretty loud in my room (due to the bar on the second floor).

Definitely a nice place to stay, though. Clean and well appointed.

Very nice experience. The staff was very friendly. We had a very nice room on a high floor which had really good views. Also, the restaurant served very good food. We enjoyed lunch there and we were very pleased. The only downside was the visitor parking. The parking lot is located down the street and they charged our visitor $20. It was a little embarrassing for me and my sister when she was asked to pay. AWKWARD!

We loved this place so much! We are still talking about it today. Smelt clean and was actually clean everywhere. AC in room was perfect. Just press a button to have the shades in the room go up or down. Huge tv in the room. Bottles of Aquafina water already provided in the room. Food and drinks at the bar were awesome too! Elevators were all glass. Just an awesome experience.

Amazing staff! Delicious food. Honestly, I've never before had 'delicious' food at a hotel, especially one of this size and definitely not in a conference setting. Yum yum.

The staff. Pleasant, friendly, willing, courteous, exceptional. ALL the things you not only expect but desire from a service-based business and everything to create the best hotel stay experience.

Loved the view from my room and the perfectly placed chaise lounge to enjoy said view. Lovely touch.

One less thing to track. I'm in love with tech & gadgets so I was tickled each time I opened the room door using my phone . Keys? What keys?

If I'm in Dallas this will be my stop.

Had a few drinks at the lower level bar 25 bucks for 1/3 cup of moscato and a very tiny champagne. Rude gratuity employees, seems to be a given to them I guess. Starbucks coffee house was no different. Our heat and air was not working correctly and the alarm in the room was pre set to 5 am , the bed was hard and felt like I was sleeping on the floor. Honestly it was a lovely place and the views awesome but miserable stay to say the least. Kudos to the valet and bellman - nicest people I ran into during our stay.

Rooms were spacious and clean. Lobby areas were well maintained. Although valet was extremely busy, the guys were extremely nice and apologetic about the long wait. Check in staff was friendly however, check in was delayed by slow computer system.

The bed was like sleeping on a marshmallow. I and my mother really enjoyed this hotel. We also enjoyed the spa. The fitness center was fantastic! The only downside was room service is limited in food type and hours of operation. But we had breakfast at the Maple (very good) and the best dinner was at Villa Grille Brazil (Exceptional), to be honest, I am not sure about that name. We also ate at a Mexican restaurant starts with an "M," point is restaurants abound. Spa is super expensive but I love spas so it was going to happen regardless. I had a facial my mom had a mani pedi, we were both very pleased .

Our first time staying at this particular Hyatt, a...

Our first time staying at this particular Hyatt, and likely our last. Very disappointed in housekeeping s failure to complete daily task of servicing our room on Friday, August 31std, 2018. Having arrived back to our room later that evening to find our room untouched by housekeeping despite no request by us to not clean our room, disappointment continued in regards to front desk staff ensuring resolution as stated with request of clean linens brought to our room in a stipulated timeframe so we could shower and proceed to bed and sleep as needed. This resulted in another request needing to be made and having to go speak with front desk staff in person in order to finally have linens brought to our room. Having been told on that evening by both a male front desk employee and a female front desk employee that our request to speak with a supervisor regarding this would absolutely be addressed the following day, Saturday September 1st, no attempts were made by phone, email, or in person to address the issue nor provide resolution. Upon checkout early morning of September 2nd and another inquiry in regards to our request to speak with a supervisor about the issue, we were again assured that our concerns would absolutely be addressed by a supervisor by the end of the day - and yet again there was no attempts of resolution being made. It s now been a full week since checkout and there have still been no attempts made to address the issue nor resolve the dissatisfaction resulting from the entire situation. I had waited to see if the past week would find any follow up being made before completing this survey, and was disappointed yet again in the lack of attempts at resolution, thus resulting in a very unsatisfactory survey being the end result. We have always had exemplary service and satisfaction with any Hyatt we have stayed at, and have expected continued satisfaction at each Hyatt property because of this. Hoping this is an isolated incident for this particular property only, and not a developing trend of unsatisfactory service within Hyatt as a whole.

Had a wonderful time. The staff was great as they accommodated us with a smile! Room was semi clean as you could see dust in the vents and in the corners. Breakfast in bed was okay... Pancakes were under a heat lamp for a while. Toast was burnt and our omelettes where very wet. Breakfast wasn't good for the price.
